Troid Aill Top The top of the canyon is the most expansive part of the terrain, and is covered with grasses and shrubs. There is a large circular space though where no plants grow, and only red, dusty rock can be seen. Small blood stains can be spotted in the rock, and the rocks are riddled with claw marks. This is the main fighting arena of the pack, and most, if not all, of the joining fights are held here. The spring tournament is held in this very spot. There is a narrow, but accessible winding 'staircase' down the side of the canyon, from the very top to the bottom. The ledges are about one and a half to two feet apart from each other, but the rocks are solid enough to support the weight of a wolf. They lead to both the Quartz Cave and the Waterfall Spring, and provide a safe method for wolves to travel up and down the canyon. The canyon top is also the safest place for pups to romp around and play, as there is little chance for them to fall down the cliffs. It is here that many of the prey lives, including the jackalopes and the quails. |

Quartz Falach This cavern is protected by the waterfall, and is home for most of the pack members. There are many smaller alcoves in the cave which the members fashion into dens. The main part of the cavern is open and lit by a few small holes in the rock that act as skylights. This area is big enough to be a fighting ground and is used as such by the most daring pack members. It is extremely slippery, and many wolves have lost their footing and tumbled into the waterfall to their doom. It is close to the top of the canyon, and, with the help of an adult, pups can be carried to the top to play. It gets its names from the brilliant assortment of gems which line the walls, mostly quartz but some semi-precious stones as well. The light from the skylights glitters off them, and the further back into the cavern you go, the more brilliant the sights. The gems seem to give off their own glow, illuminating even the darkest of these caves. A very small cavern stream flows near the back of the caves, with fresh spring water, and flows through a small hole to form an in cavern waterfall. |

Eas Spring Directly behind the waterfall which cascades from almost the top of the canyon to the bottom is a huge cavern, in which some of the water from the waterfall pools. It creates a calm, cool spring where some fish reside. The water from the Quartz Caverns falls here, creating a lovely trickling sound as it empties into the spring. It is rather deep, and a lovely place to swim. The wolves know of no actual aquatic predators which reside in the water. To the left of the spring is a large den area, which the alphas have claimed as their own. It is lined with leaves and though it doesn't have the same brilliance of gems as the Quartz Cavern, does have some of the light emitting stones. The cave is lit by these gems and by the sunlight which flows easily in. It is closer to the bottom of the canyon, and the sounds of the raging river below are an ominous reminder of the dangers in the lands. |

Castàil Rocks If the alphas believe it is necessary to hold a meeting or council, it is held here. There is a large rock outcropping for the alphas to sit, which overhangs onto a huge shelf. This ledge can hold the entire pack and more, and many bushes and shrubs grow here. There is one sole tree that grows right beside the alphas' rock, and occasionally can bear fruit. It is exhausting to carry youngsters down the cliffside this far, and as such, only adults are allowed to attend any meetings. The rocks are situated very close to the alphas dens. It is about 100 metres from the waterfall, and located near a more calm section of the river. |

Cinnte Dàis Crevice A mere opening in the cliff face, it reaches from the bottom to the top. Here the sun does not reach, so the crevice is left in perpetual dusk. Here is the home to many griffins, and it is certain death should one enter the area alone. The rocks near the entrance are scattered with bones, both of smaller animals and some that look suspiciously like wolves'. There is rumour that this crevice is home to a nasty spirited yellow dragon, but that has not been confirmed. Here though, the wolves of the pack play a suicidal game of capture the flag. The pack splits into two, and each hide an object. Each team searches for the other team's object, and the winning team gets bragging rights. |
