Nova Pass

The pass goes clear across and around the murkier areas of the swamp. It's the only safe road that can get you from the jungle to the beach without having to approach most predators or prey without notice first. Various mountain sides lace on both sides in the distance, there are a few patches of shrubs and deciduous trees for shade in the hotter seasons. Many other wolves come by through here everyday as it is a great place to find out where you are if you are lost.

Muskeg Meadow

Halfway down the pass, the west side opens up to an open meadow. Known for it's calming appearance, the meadow is separated into two parts by the Muskeg river that slowly fades as you get closer to the bog. Most of this land is solid and makes a nice open place for pack meetings and a few overgrown trees make wonderful dens on the outskirts near the base of the river.

Dochi Bog

Usually foggy at night, the bog is a very unpleasant place where most of the prey and predators lie in the swamp. The ground may look safe but often contains hidden marshes and sinkholes. There is a few stray puddles but due to the amount of acid rain in this particular area, it is not recommended for drinking. There is plenty of hidden caverns in and underneath Mangrove trees placed here.

Myrica Lake

Farthest into the depths of the swamp is the lake. It is the only large source of fresh water clean enough to drink or swim in. Plenty of winged fish migrate to and from here and lots of prey is abundant in the spring and summer. It is also another great place for dens near the waters edge.

Tambopata Forest

The murky waters grow shallow here as abundance of pine and mangrove trees jut out of the floor of the swamp. A few stray rocks and pieces of solid land home the only bit of dry life here. Small prey like birds and frogs may be found here, but not much besides that. The forest makes a great environment for sports.

Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
Kuroku Swamp
This wetland consists of mud and dark water; despite the seeming gloominess, the area is filled with vegetation, providing many homes for prey species that don't mind getting their feet (or fins) wet. A few water-dwelling stands of trees grow up from the swamp, sporting few leaves if any. Moss and lilypads float on the surface of the water, along with the occasional frog. Watch your step, for the deceptively shallow water is peppered with deeper sinkholes.
