Dhonborock Shores

Haunting best describes this rocky shore as it is often shrouded in mist off the lake. Waves lap at its edge greedily and a wolf must be careful not to get caught in them as the lake is very deep and strong currents run through it. Fish can be caught here and various forms of otters and ducks may be observed. The rocky shore fades into a marsh populated with deer and water fowl that eventually meets the edges of the forest. Beware where you set foot for large bloodsuckers live among the more sandier areas, best to stick to the rocky side of things.

Heikwar Cliff

These grass covered cliffs tower above the lake, are speckled with jagged rocks and provide a perfect meeting area for the pack as well as the ideal place to watch for trespassers, enjoy a midnight howl or observe the stars. Not many fauna grace it’s surface as the wind enjoys giving the cliffs lashings and only but a few barren bushes are spread about. The most impressive feature of these cliffs are the jagged rocky edges that almost look like ruins in the distance. Paths encircle the cliffs where more adventurous wolves may try their footing and pit their bodies against the lashing of the wind and the difficult terrain.

Caïyen Forest

A large, ancient and thick forest covers the majority of the rest of the lake territory. Thick moss covers the trees and several species of mushroom adorn the surface of fallen logs and the moist ground. Some hollow older trees have branches so thick and low to the ground that wolves may climb up and make their dens in some of the hollows. For the larger species the ground is covered in several layers of vegetation including leaves, pine needles, moss, bushes and logs that provide excellent places to makes dens. Bogs can often be a cause for concern for the thin layer of vegetation may trick a wolf into believe passage is safe. Although the wind does not penetrate the forest the sounds of other animals and the hum of insects can be heard consistently.

Trakrin Rapids

Embodied in the main river artery that feeds into the massive lake are the violent rapids of the Trakrin River. Crossing is a precarious adventure, impossible in fall and spring with the excessive rain and melting snow, but a possibility in the winter and summer months. Loosing your footing is a sharp reality, even during lower water level months and the current that flows deep in the water can easily drag an uncautious wolf below. The rapids dwindle down into a large pool of water where wolves may hunt for fish or other prey that come to enjoy a drink from the water. If you are feeling fishy however beware, occasional poisonous snakes populated the murkier shore lines.

Mowrak Island

This large island is but barely visible from shore and only accessible to flying or swimming wolves. Recluse it provides exceptional privacy, but there are only water mammals populating this island and the trees adorning its surface, though plentiful, are harsh and weather beaten by the cold wind that whips across the lake. The island is surrounded by large boulders where animals might venture in the summer to soak up the sun’s rays. For swimming wolves the lake is a cold joy, the water light and fresh on the surface. However the darker and murkier depths can be a concern for it is unsure what creatures may dwell below. Large pods of kelp grow up to try and grasp at passing swimming wolves and occasional eels will swim by looking for food.
