Appearance: Tall, slender, and very brightly colored, Scarlett could become a sore sight if anyone stared at her for too long. Her fur is a vibrant shade of yellow, often matching the colors of the small flowers that bloom from early spring and all the way through summer. It's soft and gentle to the touch, feeling something akin to down feathers. The sun illuminates her coat brightly whenever it shines down upon it. Trailing down the tips of the fur running the length of her neck and back is a beautiful ebony shading, which also dominates her front two paws and her back two legs, trailing up to her hips. Her tail is long and wispy, nearly twice the length of her own body, and is tipped with black as well. Her ears are painted obsidian, as well as a marking on her chest. The marking doesn't really mean anything nor does it have a definite shape. It's just sort of there. There are also two dark blue markings on the top of her hips, a mirror image of one another. The highest part of her cheeks have small black marks on them, seeming to define her face. Her eyes are almond shaped, as all Sennyo, and they are a very dark shade of blue, matching the blue markings upon her hips. Her butterfly wings are that of a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, and they sit upon her back gracefully. Large black antennae sprout from her temples and curl all the way down her back, reaching about halfway through her tail.

Her general stature, though appearing graceful and dainty, is very lazy. Her posture is nearly constantly relaxed. Her head is held at a normal level and her walk is calm and slow, making her seem like no threat and as though she has nowhere to be in a hurry. Her tail floats about behind her and her wings usually have a mind of their own, fluttering from time to time. Her antennae curl and uncurl as they please. When she sleeps, it is generally on her back with her fragile wings spread out beneath herself and her antennae sprawled across the ground. With her belly exposed, it shows that she can be a little too comfortable with the world. She has a tendency to lightly hit things with her tail, almost as if to test if things were real or not. Though, sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own and hits things whether she likes it or not. However, considering all of this, she is frail and easily breakable in just about every single way.

Personality: She's a bit of an odd one, to say the least. Other than her usual strengths of her sense of smell and her intuition to the day's forecast, this Sennyo can be quite strange when it comes to the way of life. She never lives in the past, for she knows that she will grow old and watch all of her friends perish before she does, and she doesn't dwell in her old life. She prefers and loves to focus on the things happening now in her own life, placing her full attention on the person or thing that she is involved with. When it comes to other wolves, no matter who they are, she will be silent and listen to them if they just need someone to talk to. She is not one to gossip and keeps secrets to herself, locked away in her own memory forever. She is well aware that most wolves she speaks to will be long dead before it would matter if she talked about their secrets. Also, she never really worries about tomorrow and is seeming constantly relaxed. Watching the clouds pass by, laying down just to think, or even passing out in any random place will do her some good.

There are bad things about this female just as there are for any other wolf. Physically, she is very fragile, but she can be that way emotionally too. Most times, she places on her lazy mask and ignores everything bad that goes on in the world in order to keep her own past from resurfacing within her mind. It takes quite a lot to dig past that barrier, but it's not entirely impossible. If it happens, she breaks down very easily and ca become a hysterical mess. Scarlet is also very lazy. In Washington Irving's story, Rip Van Winkle, the main character would "rather starve on a penny than work for a pound". This is something similar to what this Sennyo would do. She doesn't like to lift a paw and do her own work, but often waits for food to come to her so she doesn't have to chase it all around and tire herself out. She's just downright lazy. If she doesn't feel like walking or traveling for a day, then she just sleeps where she wakes up and stays another day. Despite all of this, she has a very low tolerance for rude and disrespectful behavior. After living as long as she has, she just doesn't understand why no one can just seem to be nice to one another. She hates it and often becomes infuriated with anyone old enough who should at least have some decent respect. Over her years, she has learned to close off her own inner feelings from everyone. She has learned that she will live much longer than most wolves and that friends are not fantastic to make unless they live as long as she does. This can keep people away from her. She's also a bit of a flirt, though sometimes doesn't really know it. When she tries to be friendly, she might come off as a major flirt. She talks to herself, too, but that's her way of entertaining herself.
History: A small tribe of Sennyo lived in a far off forest from the rest of the wolves of WonderWhy. To a pair of Sennyo, one of bright orange and the other of a rusty brown, was born a beautiful baby girl. Though she was yellow and obviously did not have the coloring of her parents, they loved her like a precious jewel nonetheless. They named her Scarlett Harper, Scarlett being a common name among the females within her family. It was more of just a beginning half to her true name, which was Harper. As she grew, they saw that she bore the wings of the gorgeous Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly. Often times, her coloring set her apart from everyone else, especially the few children her age or even slightly older. Not many thought of this as too strange, though she was very differently colored compared to the rest of the little tribe. She fit in perfectly fine with everyone, doing and learning exactly as they did.

Seven years passed and she grew with her closest friend, Ace. He was a vibrant blue Sennyo whom she had gotten to know well as they had grown up together. They were very close and knew just about everything about each other. In fact, many of the other wolves in the tribe were simply waiting for them to fall in love with one another and claim each other as mates. For their generation, they were idealized as the perfect couple. It took another five years for any of this to come about, but then Ace decided to start a courtship. Being the gentleman that he was, he went to Scarlett's parents and asked for their permission of wooing their only child. They were all too happy to agree, for they like this male and his family very much. They respected his lovely attitude towards them, how he was always kind and respectful to all no matter what was thrown in his face. They believed their daughter would be very happy with this male, and they'd had every intention of getting them together one way or another at some point.

However, he'd taken the initiative on his own.

Ace told Scarlett to meet him out by the lake at sunset, and he vanished for the day. What she did not know is that the male she'd had a crush on forever was preparing something magical for her, something that would make her heart warm with love for him. Although, neither of them expected the meddling of a certain jealous female that was also in her generation. Missy, a very spoiled little female Sennyo with red fur, had kept her eyes on Ace for a very long time. Seeing how much time he spent with Scarlett and how he now planned on taking her for a mate, her jealously was through the roof and all she saw was red as she plotted to ruin everything. She followed the male to the lake that day, watching him from the brush as he waited for his love to show up. There were flowers and assorted beautiful plants scattered on the ground. There was an offering of a rabbit placed in the center and the sinking sun was hitting the lake just right to cast a pretty glow on everything.

Missy approached him from behind and began her usual flirting routine with the male, something she attempted to do even when Scarlet was around. Ace growled at her lightly and asked her to leave, stating this was an important night to him. She sighed, paced away for a moment, and then her ears picked up the sound of the lazy lope of Scarlett. Smirking, Missy turned and pounced on Ace, knocking him to his back and standing over him in a seductive way. He was speechless and there was a cunning smile on her face. It would appear wrong in so many ways, but when Scarlett finally came upon the scene, it broke her heart to see what she was seeing. She could only stare with her wide blue eyes in shock, disbelief, and pain. Ace immediately realized what Missy's plans had been and shoved her off of him, bringing himself to his feet and facing the one he loved. However, he couldn't seem to find the words to say to her.

"Scar..." He took a step closer, just wanting to be there and tell her what he had really intended. "This isn't what it looks like, I swear!"

"Then what is it, Ace?" Her voice was solemn, nearly cold, but her eyes were welled with tears. She swallowed the lump in her throat, casting a glance at the both of them. She nodded to each. "I see what is going on here, Ace, and I am happy for you."

Scarlett couldn't take much more and turned around, beginning to sprint as fast as her small legs would carry her. Ace gave a nasty snarl to Missy before going after the yellow Sennyo. Missy had ruined everything that night, and Ace hated himself for making his love feel the way she had. As he ran after her, he knew that it would be rather pointless should he not catch her soon. His friend knew the area they lived in very well and that catching her would not be easy, for she knew the best places to escape and hide. Minutes passed, and he did not come across her. As he ran farther and farther about the forest, he did not realize that his love was watching from a precipice above, eyes following him as he searched for her. In those moments, she could not tell how he felt about her truly, whether he loved her or Missy. Her hatred for Missy was in the way of herself thinking clearly of what she should do, and what she did do was not truly intended.

Scarlett Harper left.

The brightly colored Sennyo traveled for many years following this incident, coming to a peaceful state with herself. She accepted that maybe she wasn't really meant for that small tribe, for Ace, or for anyone. She put her past behind her and now rarely thinks about it, if at all. She brought herself to love others unconditionally, no matter who they were or what they did, and listened to every word that they had to tell her. She closed herself off from them, though, knowing that her species lived for a very long time. She came to make acquaintances, not friends, because it wasn't really worth it. They would die long before she, but that didn't stop her from occasionally flirting with a male here and there, sometimes even a female just to fluster them for the fun of it all. She became very aloof and lazy, even more so than she had been before, and it had taken a major tension from her shoulder. Though, from time to time, her mind does wander to Ace and her family, wondering what they might being doing now.

With these thoughts in her mind, though, she has taken less of a liking to men and more of a liking to women.
