General:
Name: Chrysanthra
Alias: None as of yet
Species: Lupus
Gender: Female
Age: 4
Pack: Waiting on acceptance from Balkamir
Rank: Unknown as of yet
Powers: Electricity manipulation
Physical:
Height: About 35 inches tall
Weight: 140 lbs
Appearance: Chrysanthra’s fur is a shimmer of gold from a distance, however upon closer inspection there are swirls and mixes with a light cream and milky tone. They are seemingly imperfections of a coat of gold. She is a medium to larger built lupus even for being female. Her coat is soft, silken even; as though she herself was made soft to house the rough, near shocking painful attributes of her element.
Her eyes are amber in color, which as the light from the sky hits them seem to become lighter during the manipulation of her given element, or during tense and overwhelming emotion. As she moves the cream swirls seem to rise from her paws to the tops of her ears, making her ears a near white match.
Her tail seems to be oddly fluffy in comparison to the rest of her, often earning her ridicule as a pup. She carries herself with liquid grace, muscles moving purposely beneath her coat, trained from years of hunting and defending herself. However even as she moves there is some glint, some hint that in a split second the honor bound wolf has the ability to become just as the lightning itself, hot, searing and powerful.
The voice with which Chrysanthra speaks with is soft but firm. Underneath her calm voice is pure steel. A voice which can command without yelling, and a voice that can whisper yet still be considered dangerous. She prefers to use body language but is not against voicing a well considered view point or thought.
Mental:
Strengths: She is patient, strong willed, with a true sense of honor and loyalty. She has a restrained personality and the ability to not be swayed by emotion, and bring forth what needs to be done. Because of her size she is a formidable hunter and fighter, and because of her organized, restrained mind, she can calculate the best advantage to win, or kill.
Weaknesses: Because she is so restrained love comes barely if ever. Because her emotions are quelled she is often seen as robotic, cold natured and heartless. Due to her looking at things in a calculating manner, she has a somewhat hard time relating to others, in a playful manner. Also while she is skilled in hunting, and following orders, random acts of kindness, affection, or being around pups leads her to become quite nervous.
Personality:
Chrysanthra has what is naturally known as “bipolar” personality. As a young pup it was harder to control, moving from anger and excitement and jumping to many other emotions in the near flash of an eye. When her emotions did come crashing in, they were intense, more than most would be able to handle, and even as a pup she found herself truly and utterly exhausted at times. However as she grew older, she gained more control over her emotions and found that restraint as hard as it was, was needed to survive. Therefore she adapted a cool, restrained exterior personality. Very rarely does she ever have incidences of rage, or sadness, many of these triggers must be extreme to push her to such lengths of behavior.
History:
Her life was meant for something more. Chrysanthra was born into a large pack, and from the time her ears and eyes opened her mother and father instilled that she must be strong, and she must be in control. Both her mother and father were lupus, and they reigned in their pack and demanded loyalty, strength and a code of honor - there were no exceptions, even for pups. Her mother was a “water wolf” and her father a “fire wolf”, and even as different as they were, they stayed together because the act of balance was what gave their pack the success they had. Where his father was rough and expecting, his mother was soft and yielding.
From the time she began to walk, she began to have swings of mood, so quickly in fact that Chrysanthra did not recognize the shift in mood, and quickly managed to isolate herself from her pack members. Many simply tolerated her because her parents were who they were. However even her parents looked at her nervously, she noticed when they thought she was not looking. Even as she struggled for control, there was one member of the pack who never shied away from her. Smoke….Smoke was a soldier who was a year or so older than her, and whom she treated as a sibling. Many times, she and her blood siblings (two sisters and a brother, who also showed much promise) would be caught together, inseparable. While the element that she had was considered powerful, and even needed, it was also feared. Lightning just like fire could easily become out of control and do more damage than good.
As she grew older and discovered her power and element was the same day her life was ripped out of her control. Her siblings talked with her less and less, and Smoke, the one whom she had depended on, even had feelings for threw himself into battle and his duties. Her mother tried to make her feel better, but it was overshadowed by her father’s commanding nature to get control of herself or she would lose it all..
After three long years with her family she finally began to use her control and overcome to constant mood swings that plagued her childhood. But her siblings never did give her the relationship they once had, and eventually they all went their separate ways to fulfill different destinies. Smoke and she had battled together and what used to be sibling type feelings developed into respect, and was blossoming into romance. Her control gave her the ability to be a strong fighter, and even an advantage to the hunting parties. However one evening, during a pack meeting Chrysanthra was about to realize she was not done with her challenges….
As the pack gathered for a meeting, Chrysanthra’s father announced new hunting parties, new patrols, and even new births, it was a time when the pack came together, and relished hearing about how their pack was flourishing. She sat beside Smoke with an easy smile, her moods a gentle wave of control. Then the announcement came:
“Smoke and Ivory are to be mates and will be expecting pups within the year…”
She sputtered and coughed her now dark amber eyes furiously looking at the larger male next to her. He simply looked down and away and moved to the pure white female across the gathering..She felt as though her heart were breaking, she swore she could feel the sound within her chest as air ceased to fill her lungs. Her father had the right to set up mates as he saw fit for the survival of the pack but, he knew how she felt and this smacked of betrayal. Her head tipped back and not only the rumble of a forlorn howl rose from the bottom of her being but the scrambling of paws against ground. Lightning white and statically hot slammed into the ground and shook it, yet her howl never faltered. The fur on her spine prickled with the coming of energy and bolt after bolt appeared from the sky. Before she could take a breath, the large burgundy colored male wolf that was her father grabbed her by her neck and dragged her, pulling and growling the whole way. Between his muffled lips and her fur he tried to explain..
“We all must do what we must to survive, have I not taught you that? You are not meant for him. You are meant for more. Yet you cannot achieve it here, and thus, you must leave, or you must die…”
It was with those final words, and a long howl of mercy and love from her mother that she was pushed from the boundaries, forever to walk the boundaries of other packs territories. She had nothing but the barest glimmer of hope that maybe one day, she would find the right pack, and maybe one day she would not be the liability everyone thought she was. It was over the next year that living on her own, in the harsh surroundings, being alone taught her the necessary control. Without control she never would have lived beyond her three years. Now after a year of roaming, heart ache, and loneliness she searches for that which makes all wolves whole, a pack, a family, and someone with whom she can give her honor, loyalty, and faith to.
