[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]It was the day, and the right time to do this, he thought as he woke up. He had been changing his routine lately to be awake more during the day. It was easier to sleep at night time as the temperatures in the cove began to cool off. During the day it was easier, to run and climb now that there was less humidity when it was all said and done. He was enjoying the slightly cooler water temperatures too, providing him with more relief for his muscles when they did in fact become sore. His time here however, had made his pelt shine with happiness and care he had begun to show. He was lean and muscled, and had been eating well enough without over feeding himself, allowing just enough energy to get by.
His silver colored eyes watched the rolling waters of the ocean as he thought about what he was going to do. He had told Tawny he would put out the call to all those who could hear and had an interest in joining their group. His worries were now catching up with him, what types of wolves would come, would they have the dedication he and Tawny had? He hoped with all his heart Tor would come, and of course Tawny would come, but he did not know many others, and the three of them were all Cael. From what he had seen so far, many Cael did not like the idea of doing as much traveling as they had to do, and with the traveling not always being in water it hampered many of them from the idea.
His shoulders fell slightly as he thought about the fall back plans, traveling just he and Tawny, visiting other lands as best they could without trespassing. Or even asking an alpha if they could remain in their lands for a time, only to become old, or sick of traveling and having to join a pack to live out the rest of their lives. He didn’t mind the idea of traveling with Tawny, becoming older, even entertaining pups in some pack later on down the line. It all sounded good when he said it within his own mind but in reality he just didn’t know how either one of them would fair down the line. But that was plenty of worries for right now.
He climbed onto a cliff, with the water spraying behind him, but far enough in that it simply gathered in waves behind him, leaving him dry and with four legs instead of two. He took a deep breath and tilted his head back. The breath he had taken in filled his lungs and the howl that escaped was nearly musical in quality. It sounded out through the coves, the cliffs helping to carry it even further. The call basically said, “To all those interested in a group of entertaining travelers arrive in the beach as soon as possible..” It was almost sing song in quality but with the winds and location of the beach he hoped it would reach as many wolves as possible. Metallic silver eyes stared out into the beach, and the forest beyond, watching for the first of hopefully many to arrive… | |

[scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] The day would indeed be a fine one, and the large black wolf looked up at the sky with golden eyes for a moment, as gulls circled over-head. He'd slept over for the night, and was now leaving to return home to the Alliance's lands. They had plenty of strong, capable wolves and he was sure they'd be okay for one night without him.
Raynor stretched, his muscles taut and the early sun glinting off his golden highlights. He yawned and began walking, looking for some fish before he left to fill him. Soon, however, he heard a musical call and immediately he knew it must be another Cael. He listened, and his eyes shimmered with an idea. A crazy, lunatic, impossible idea but an idea just the same... A group of entertainers was a wonderful idea, but for him? He had a pack, friends, no family, they were long gone, but still, responsibilities. Still, you don't have to enroll right away, just try it out maybe... Part-time. No one can order you do do things anymore, Ray. he told himself, and headed off towards the direction of the call.
Years of hard, brutal and most times violent training had made his legs strong and flexible as any wolf, but he felt much more graceful and in control in water than on land. His muscles worked in symphony with the rest of his body as he pounded down the beach, tongue lolling.Soon he came to another wolf, most assuredly a Cael, the one who had made the call. He stopped, and stood straight, nodding politely: "Greetings, fellow Cael, I am Raynor. Am I to assume it is you who made the call? I'm interested in such a group." His voice rumbled low from his chest, deep yet slightly musical as he waited for the answer.

The energetic yagi was panting with excitement as he stretched and after spending the night with his best friend tor, the day seemed to be calm and welcoming to all in the cove. he appeared from the ledge tor's usual sleeping spot was, away from it and her as he shook his pelt and the sun hit it. Now what was he to do with the boundless energy he had now? Oh! Time to get her up! Since she couldn't hear him call at her, he would have some fun with this... if him moving from beside her didn't wake her already.
"Heh, ooooh tor!" his rump shaking wildly in the air like a pup with a new toy, as he readied his pounce.
Jumping at her, Crow was careful that he didn't squish her if he did land on her delicate sleeping form. Ready to nibble at her ears and lick her affectionately. That's what he paused afterwards and cocked his head to one side, someone was calling everyone in the cove. A circus? It sounded like fun and Crow wasn't getting any younger and with tor at his side he would never be lonely. Maybe she would want to be in the circus too?
"I wonder how I get her to follow me?" he muttered to himself under his breath, staring at her face and trying to get her attention on him. Hopefully this works...hey! We should go meet a wolf that wants to start a circus, sounds like fun... no? Crow now playfully in the position he was before, but looking back behind him where the call came from. He would jump back from her and turn around and run to get her to understand if she did not already.

She was dreaming of her swimming through the sea, splashing and darting around with Crow. He wasn't heavy and lumbering; he was swift and flawless. Just like a cael. She rolled her body onto her side and started to snore when she felt something landing on her gently. Tortoiseshell woke with a surprised squeal and was face to face with the yagi and felt his warm tongue licking her cheek and sharp teeth nibbling her ear. She just attempted to push him off and, using her small paws, she hid her tired face almost irritably. She quizzed him through mind, full of exasperation. Why? Why?
But as soon as she lowered her paws she met Crow's joyful eyes. Then he looked at nowhere with his head tilted. Tor knew him well enough to know that he was hearing something. Curious, she turned so that she was able to stand up properly and looked at him, wide silver eyes full of many questions. This was one disadvantage of not able to hear. But then, she got Crow. The idea sent a shiver of happiness up her body. She got him. He was her friend. But Crow trying to get her attention interrupted her happy thoughts. He was staring at her intently as if he was trying to look into her sou-- Something appeared in her mind and Tor started to realise that she had accidentally left her mind open for anyone to enter. As she began to close it, she recognised the 'something' was Crow.
There was a wolf, and a circus. And fun. She sprang up and turned suddenly to leave her napping area. That was when the scent hit her. Tortoiseshell's eyes and nose were much more sharp to make up her loss of hearing. With this she was almost thankful for her deafness; scenting and sighting were so much better than hearing, or at least they were in her opinion. A silly smile stretched on her green face as she recognised the smell. Lio! After she moved to nudge Crow's side, Tor scrambled down, expecting him to follow. Was this call made by Lio? It didn't matter. She would see him again. She trotted quickly toward the source of the scent but kept restraining herself for her yagi friend. She didn't want to abandon Crow but then she hadn't seen Lio since their first meeting.
It didn't take long when she spotted the brown form of her cael friend and she bobbed her head in a greeting before moving forward to touch his face with her nose. Her mind stretched to his and there was something, kinda like a spark, but much more significant than last. It wouldn't take long until she and Lio can communicate just like her and Crow. The idea excited her. Then she drew back and sat down, watching Crow expectantly. Maybe he could be her interpreter or something.

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] ooc: sorry for the delay, everyone. Here I am!
The day was rather normal, with decent temperatures in both water and air. She had spent that particular day running about the beaches and the cliffs, even through the caverns to work on agility. It was pretty impressive to herself that her muscles had become so trained in such time, for she needed the strength in her legs to be able to travel on land better than she had bee before. Of course, this did not stop her from swimming at all. No, she often days swam more than she ran and climbed, but that made no difference to her. She was simply making sure that she had land experience as well as keeping her knowledge of the water. She had thinned down considerably, but it was a healthy thing. She was eating quite a bit, though not too much. She was getting better and better, especially after her loss of Jade.
Tawny sighed, ears flattening when she thought of her sister. She had loved her so much, but she had never really been around and to lose her a second time was so painful. She had not seen her nor heard from her in nearly a month. The female would not come to her when she called, and all of this caused her a pain she did not want. She was supposed to be the strong, level headed female who could lead some to a better place, but at the moment that was seeming pretty much impossible. It was Nelio's call that snapped her out of this reverie and she stared long down the beach at his form. A small smile worked its way onto her face. She appreciated the male, for he was there to listen to everything she said. It made her feel better, knowing that there was someone she could talk to without being judged.
The brown furred female began to pick her way down the beach and, the closer she became, the lighter she felt as more than one wolf showed up for her friend's call. It made her happy to see something like this, to see the call being answered in numbers and so quickly. Her copper flecked, silver eyes glittered as she approached the group, though she needed to bound up the cliff side first. She slithered to Nelio's side, giving his shoulder a nudge in greeting, then licking the back of his ear. She stood still and studied the group, aware of the cliff edge to her right. A female Cael, a male Cael, and not too far off was a Yagi. The Yagi appeared rather young, but it did not matter to her. This group mattered to Nelio, so she could only hope more showed up. The female seemed slightly familiar, scent wise at least. It seemed like she'd been on the beach before. The male, however, was from a pack that was not too far from the cove. The Yagi was a loner, obviously seeming to spend his time with the female.
"You are from another pack. Why answer a call such as this?" She questioned the dark furred male. She was not trying to scare him off, no. She was simply curious on the matter. It was rather interesting to her that a wolf from a pack would answer a call like this one in possible interest of joining it. Her brow furrowed slightly as she stared the male down, then steadily turned her head to face the other two, coming to address them all. "Greetings, everyone. I am Tawny. As you may have heard through Nelio's call, we intend to create a type of traveling circus. Originally, this was supposed to be an all Cael group, but we realized the shortcomings of such a thing. Not all Cael are adapted for land, but there are some who are. I'm assuming that since you arrived after this call was made, you are interested in joining us?"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]So the world would keep turning, no matter how many times he awoke to the sun shining down on his little cave he had picked out for himself. The sun would set, and the moon would rise and enter into all her phases of being. Regardless of Lio’s anxiety over the circus or his backup plan for himself and Tawny the world would continue as though his existence were just one minute speck of being on a world populated by other specks. It could all turn very depressing in a few short moments. His eyes sought the beach for others who would hopefully show. This would be his last resort, the last option he had for getting this idea off the ground, if this failed then he would resign his life to that of a traveling bard and Tawny while accompanying him would also be resigned to travel alone together through the rest of their lives as long as they could.
It would not be long in fact before he saw the body of another wolf coming toward him, at a rather quick pace none the less. There was nothing to signify he was anything but a lupus until Lio got a good look at his form, lupus tended to be bulkier than Cael and while some Cael or Lupus were different he assumed more or less that the male coming toward him was Cael seeing as he had answered the call. When he spoke Lio smiled and nodded. “You assume right, I am indeed the one who sent out the call. I would be happy to inform of about the group and it’s intentions if you would be so patient as to wait and see if other’s have heard my call and come to attention as you did?” When he heard the other male he was assured he was Caella, there was no way he was lupus with the song quality in his voice.
He nodded and smiled as he watched the horizon once more. He knew that there was this male, Tawny would arrive in her own good time, himself and hopefully others would come as well. He knew there was a need for wolves other than Cael to join the group, they would need muscle in case they entered into a dangerous pack’s territory, or across a pack of loners. Caella could be a vulnerable target for any wolf who deemed them a worthy target. He was taken back to reality by the sighting of Tor and he couldn’t help the intense wag of his tail against the sandy rock he was standing on. He whined and barked happily as she came closer, and he inhaled her scent happily. When her nose touched his face, he leaned in and inhaled and snuffled against her face and neck, nosing into her pelt happily. He had hoped she would come…but how did she hear the call…?
His eyes trailed to the Yagi that seemed to be following her and his eyes narrowed slightly. A feeling very close to jealousy hit him low in his belly and his eyes lowered slightly. He had never been a possessive male, but Tor was different, he liked her and he intended to get to know her rather well given time. But he switched his jealous slitted gaze into a smiling face for the Yagi. If Tor wanted to keep the larger male wolf as a friend and close confidante he would never stop her from doing anything, but he would keep a close eye to see if the Yagi was a mere friend or a competitor for the lady’s affections. He began to speak to the Yagi now, but he looked at Tor for a long moment before. “Well I am glad to see two more faces, one even that is familiar to come to my call..”
He paused for a moment before continuing, “We are just waiting on any last minute joiners, and my friend Tawny who has already committed to joining the group.” Sure enough his speaking her name seemed to bring her into appearance. Tawny arrived then and he smiled and wagged his tail for her as well. He had easily adopted Tawny into his family, they were truly all each other would ever have in this life time most likely. He had no intention of ever leaving her behind or allowing her to be sad or hurt in any capacity. When she came close to sit beside him and greeted him he turned and nudged her playfully beside him. “I’m glad you’re here…” When she questioned the darker male Cael he nodded as well, “I am interested in that answer as well. What are you intentions for joining?”
He let Tawny speak after she asked her question, and his ears turned from side to side waiting for each of the wolves to answer as bet they could. He decided only then to make a comment, “This group is to basically be a traveling group of performers. I would always like to return to the Cove as a place of rest, as well as training and exercising but the main goal is to see other packs, perform for them and see different sights and wolves, and packs throughout the traveling.” His eyes found each wolf for a moment before he took in a breathe, “My name is Nelio for those who don’t know, and this is Tawny, she is the coordinator, she plans and organizes acts while I am what is known as a ring leader.”
He straightened his shoulders before sitting down and thinking for a long moment. “By making this call I hoped to gain other wolves who wouldn’t mind performing, traveling and being in a group of travelers across the land and water, it will involve becoming strong on land, which we have worked on, it will take practice. But I hope everyone here might still be interested since you have indeed answered the call.” He waited in silence then for others to pipe up with questions, comments, concerns, introductions, anything. He wouldn’t tell anyone but his nerves were on high overload right now. He wanted this to work so badly but he didn’t know if these wolves would be any more happy to join than Mari or Jade who had shown interest and then disappeared. He crossed his paws within his mind and waited anxiously.

[scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] He politely nodded as the other wolves came, he was pleased that there were at least five of them in all, a fair size group to begin with. He understood Nelio's and Tawny's concern, and wanted to put their worries to rest. "Hello all, I am Raynor. I understand your puzzlement, it is odd for a wolf from another pack to be interested in a venture such as this. However, I come from a pack known as the Philia Alliance, perhaps you've heard of it, perhaps not. They are an open pack, and will not object overly much to me trying something new. I have pride in my pack, and as a fighter amidst their ranks, I have a duty to them. "
He paused to collect his thoughts: He loved his pack, and what values and morals it stood for, but the circus was a chance for travel, a chance to meet new wolves and make allies, for himself, and perhaps even for the Philia Alliance. If this group would take him , he would certainly do his best not to let them down. " And yet I am interested in this group you suggest, a traveling band of wolves." He didn't say Cael, because their was also a young Yagi, but he didn't mind. "I offer myself as protection for the group, a sort of bodyguard should the need arise. As most Cael, I can also sing, and would like to offer my talents as such. Also, I intend to ask your permission to join the group part-time, therefore still being with the Alliance, but perhaps taking a small break. This would also allow me to talk to other wolves in the packs we visit and see if they would be interested in an alliance with my pack, and to improve my talents, travel and meet new wolves." he finished, and waited for their answers.
He hoped he'd be able to join, as it was an advantage for the circus, the Alliance and himself, as he saw it.

Crow panted and watched Tor rush ahead in excitement. Was there something she knew that he didn't? Soon they were amongst a group of Cael and this made the Yagi feel small and helpless to an extent. Now he really wished he were a Cael so he would fit in too. The young Yagi sat a foot or so away from Nelio, as Tor reacquainted with the brown wolf. Something churned in his stomach but he couldn't put his paw on it. What was this yucky feeling in the pit of his being? He shook the feeling off and waited to listen to him speak, but another brown Cael approached them and started the announcements.
Guess it was nice to be able to normally communicate with another wolf. Though he was easily adapting to Tor since he was mostly alone even before meeting her. Taking in all that was said he turned back to the wolf up on the rock, Nelio. He felt uneasy as both him and Tor were staring at him. He knew why Tor was doing so, but why the stranger wolf had, he had no idea.
Crow simply sent Tor the casual, I swear he was looking at me funny just a second ago...nvm though I guess. They want to know if we want to join them since we came to their call to be in the circus. What do you think Tor? There was no questioning that it could be fun, but Crow was not about to join if he was going to leave his only close friend right now. He noticed Nelio smile back at him and he mustered a fake toothy grin uneasily as he was nervous. Then again, any other wolf would be too if they were the only Yagi in a group of Cael.
"H-hi..." his usual bubbly personality threatening to crumble as he forced his ears up and his legs straight, the poor Yagi almost didn't want to be there at that moment and felt quite uncomfortable.

She withdrew from his affection and met his silver eyes; they were full of joy and wonder. Tortoiseshell’s slender muzzle stretched to give him a smile that showed equal joy, but it faltered momentarily when she saw his eyes left her to meet Crow. And they were narrowed. She moved backward with her eyes also on the yagi but they were wide with confusion. What was going on? Surely they haven't met yet? She tilted her head sideways. She didn’t remember Crow telling her about Lio and he had told her about Mari and Bri, his two other friends. With a gut instinct she knew he would have mentioned the brown cael. But then... Perhaps they had met and he didn’t like to mention the outcome of the meeting?
She turned her attention back to Lio and saw his previous odd look on his face had vanished; it had been replaced by a smile. Tortoiseshell wanted, really wanted to and remain happy, a pure untainted happiness but she couldn't; the look really had put her off guard. Crow beside her looked uncomfortable and an odd feeling was thick in the air between the two males. She did not realise that this all started at the very moment when she touched the brown cael. Tor was very oblivious to this specific gesture, oblivious that she had started a small rivalry between the two wolves. All she knew that they were odd with each other for some reason. Her worrying thoughts were interrupted when Lio shifted his silvery eyes back to her, settling them on the silver green cael for a while before speaking. This gaze alone banished her worries; he was fine with her. And, with a quick glance at the yagi, Crow was fine with her as well.
She blinked once and suddenly realised that there were two other wolves here as well. The green wolf beamed at them in an overdue greeting. The strange wolves seemed friendly enough even though the dark one seemed pretty formal. She watched the brown cael, a female, approaching Lio and he nudged her affectionately. Tor snorted. Realising what she had just done, she ducked her head, eyes searching the sand particles around her paws. It was spontaneous and unintended. She felt uncomfortably hot despite the cool weather; embarrassed by her outburst. To distract herself from Lio, her silver gaze was on Crow, with her brows slightly rose to ask him to translate. She opened her mind pathway and watched the two main wolves spoke. It took a while.
Crow told her through telepathy that he was also feeling a put off by Lio but he quickly brushed it off before went on to translate the speaking wolves. It was short. It only took a moment. She frowned and her confusion was transmitted to Crow: that’s all? The wolves took a while to finish their speech and it took only a moment for the yagi to interpret. Her dainty paws shifted, a bit lost so, with a hint of desperation, she asked Crow to follow exactly what they said, not just a summary. But to the last statement, her delicate head bobbed eagerly, an obvious sign of a yes. Then she saw Crow smiled an obvious strained smile and it was painfully clear to Tor, who has known him for a while, that he was extremely uncomfortable for some reason. Concerned, Tor moved closer to him, putting her muzzle in her neck fur, whining faintly so that he could hear her concern. She asked him if he was okay through minds and, out of the corner of her eyes she peered at Lio, waiting to see what he would do next with his new troupe.

[scrolly:h(370), w(340),sy] ooc: I'm sorry, sorry, sorry! Don't kill me, Chessy! xD
She did not bring herself to truly respond to Nelio's playful nudge, instead keeping her intense gaze upon those who arrived. Two Cael and a Yagi. Her eyes were suspiciously upon the male before them, mind reeling as to why he was present and had responded to her friend's call. Things were strange, especially when beginning with a new group, and it was definitely hard. If these three didn't connect with the group and remain loyal to it, then things would fall apart. The last thing she wanted to see was Nelio being crushed. He had almost given up on it once, but had managed to find the spirit to fight once more, and at this point she could only hope things didn't fall through. Her heart pounded in her chest as her logically thinking mind silently sent prayers up to the Great Spirit for this to work out okay.
Tawny listened intently to the male wolf who smelled of another pack, keeping her gaze fixated upon his dark body. She was suspicious, unwilling to let such a stranger into their rankings, but he seemed genuinely sincere about the whole thing. He was making sense to her, though she found herself slightly offended with the alliance searching part of things, but didn't understand why. She was not a part of a pack anymore and it would not do her any harm in the slightest, nor would it harm their Circus. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Raynor, and I can come to understand your position on things. I have no objections to a part time joining. That is, if Nelio is well with the situation too." She turned her head to glance at her dear friend just to search for some sort of agreement on this.
The female looked at the seemingly deaf one, for she was aware that she could not hear them, just based upon her actions and the way that the two of them (Crow and Nelio) were not speaking to her directly. Instead, she released her thoughts out to the female, 'Greetings... I'm Tawny. Pardon my asking, but do you happen to be deaf?' She was almost afraid, and somewhat embarrassed, to ask such a question. It could be taken offensively, but she was not too sure of anything right now. The female might be deaf, though she did not know, and if she was, there was a possibility that she had a mindbreaking ability, the power to hear another's thoughts. Something akin to telepathy in her mind at least. She just hoped she would receive a response from her.
With that, Tawny looked at the Yagi. She offered him a kind smile, seeing clearly how scared he was being surrounded by all of these water wolves. "Do not be afraid, my friend. This is a meeting of peace and discussion. Nothing harmful will come of it. By the looks of things, you seem to know the lands well. Perhaps that can be of use to us, but you could be a performer as well. Everyone has hidden talents. Now, tell us your name, young one." She was rather well aware that he could be nowhere near their ages, for just from the looks of it he didn't seem fully grown. His horns were rather small, too, at least in comparison to the ones she had seen before. However, she would not voice this just in order to keep from offending anyone in any way. For the moment, her eyes swept over the group, assessing everything about them.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]He listened to the dark male speak for a moment, giving him the benefit of the doubt as long as he spoke, his eyes on Tawny. For right now she was his second in command, and who would make decisions with him, so anyone she did not feel comfortable with, he would have to speak it out with her. He kept close to the other brown female, showing his support for her, but not overtly so as if claiming her, he was simply protective and as much as he wanted to trust these other wolves, he did not know them yet, and he would never forgive himself if anything happened to Tawny. He nodded when the other wolf spoke of duty, he understood exactly what that meant for when he lived with the Clan he had the same sense of duty, responsibility, and even loyalty. But no more, the only duty, responsibility and loyalty that he would ever endure from now on was that of this circus. If that didn’t pan out, then it would be to Tor, and Tawny. To protect and care for them.
He listened to the rest of the speech without interrupting until he got to the end. Lio cleared his throat slightly and looked him directly in the eye. “While I have no objections to having another male around strong enough to defend us if a situation went wrong, I will say I have strong objections to you offering up alliances for your pack on our travels. The rest of us have no pack, and we are not acting as ambassadors for any other pack. We are traveling to entertain, and possibly meet new wolves as you said. Securing alliances for your pack is not an objective.” He knew this sounded harsh and so he resolved to try to salvage the situation. “While I don’t approve of making alliances through our group, it wouldn’t hurt your pack to know what other packs are out there, and you without trying to secure an alliance could always take information back to your alpha and then see if they want to travel and secure an alliance..”
He thought that sounded like a better idea, he simply did not want this group of traveling loners to be suspect of trying to secure alliances for other packs. “I surely hope you could see how a situation like that could drag us into dangerous scenarios, and with having females, and those who might not be adept at traveling we would not be able to adequately defend ourselves..” He hoped he had not driven off the dark male, because honestly he had no problem with the male joining, part time or full time, he had no problem with him gathering information, protecting, entertaining, and meeting new wolves. But trying to secure alliances when they were traveling under immunity would not result in anything good. His eyes found the Yagi again and though he didn’t like how close he seemed to Tor, he would not turn a potential member, and potential protector away. So he kept his face as friendly as possible…or that he could stand.
He supposed he could let the Yagi in with no complaints, even if he was Tor’s friend, he couldn’t possibly swim the depths of the ocean with her like he could. Or understand her burden of having a tail you had to drag along sand, and rock, or trying to find cover before one drop of rain hit you. No, he believed he and Tor had much more in common, but time would tell how things would be for this now interesting, and growing group of performers. He listened to the Yagi’s muttered greeting, and he smiled genuinely, he was scared and nervous and Lio had never known what that was like, although in this scenario he was not the out wolf out. He did notice with a large amount of pleasure that Tor had snorted quite loudly with Tawny’s appearance and his nudged greeting. It sent his hopes and sights soaring with joy that she might even for a second be jealous of someone, as far as he was concerned she did not need to be jealous of. It would seem some interesting things were in store for the beautiful Tor, the handsome Lio, and the entertaining Crow.
“I am happy to have you all here, and I have no objections to you joining. I have tried to make this work before, but the wolves who were here did not have the dedication to this idea that I, and Tawny have. I truly wish to make this work, I believe every wolf here can benefit from traveling and meeting new people. Be the gratification performing and growing strong…” His eyes found Crow…”Or learning more about yourself, and others for security and friends…” His eyes found Raynor….”To experience things you have never experienced…” His eyes found Tor, close as she was to Crow he simply smiled….”Or to fulfill your destiny…” With that he found Tawny and his own purpose. “It will not be easy, not those not used to travel cliff climbing, and swimming will be required training. For those not used to performing they will have to work close with Tawny to organize acts….I would like to consider the Cove where we could retreat, in between shows, our own piece of paradise to have downtime in….If there are anymore concerns or questions, or anything you’d like to know or tell, please feel free to speak now….I hope we all become close enough to make this journey a memory we will never forget!”

[scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] Raynor nodded in appreciation to Tawny's acceptance of him being in the circus, he truly was curious about the idea, and being a rather determined wolf, he would do his part for the group. Nelio's reprimand was, to say the least, expected and justified, and he also nodded his consent. However, he didn't like the constant reference to females being weaker, he knew many females who were strong and could take care of themselves. Yet the Cael understood that Nelio must simply feel that he had to take care of his female friends, and therefore was a noble cause in the fighter's mind.
"Agreed then, I understand both of your propositions and opinions, and will do nothing to harm the group members, or the Circus's reputation of being neutral. Thank you for being so kind as to accept me in the Circus, I will do my best." his words were genuine. " I will have to travel back to my pack lands, in the East, for a couple days to tell Keinvarii, the guide of our pack, my intentions, but I can meet up with you all back here or on your way to a pack's lands if that is preferable." he offered a suggestion that would meet both their needs, he had no intention to be a burden to the group.
"As such, I am looking forward to being a member of the group," he smiled to every wolf, meeting all of them in the eye with a wink and a smile. He wondered why the other female Cael, whom he did not know the name, hadn't spoken, but he didn't mind as long as she was nice enough: Perhaps she was just shy, or had a speech deficient. He didn't know, so therefore wouldn't make assumptions to embarrass her, himself or the group. "I have just one question: When do we decided the roles? I offer myself as a singer, I am quite adept as most of you are in the water and I can be a sort of protector should a situation arise. As head of the group, I will let you decide, I have no objections." he smiled pleasantly, and wagged his tail for a moment, excited.

[sorry I;m a little overwhelmed and confused xDDD, here goes nothing!]
Crow whined and felt like he had let Tor down, nodding in her response he corrected what he had said lastly and re-translated. 'That darker Cael over there is Raynor, he says he's from the Alliance and would like to join the circus part-time if Nelio and the other brown wolf over there, Tawny; second in charge, is alright with it. Nelio says he wants to be the ringleader since he came up with the idea and Tawny to organize us in the various tasks we may perform.' The yagi paused as he felt a growing warmth as Tor reassured him and nuzzled him. He sighed and smiled softly nuzzling her back affectionately.
Crow snapped back to reality and forgot about Tor for a split second as Tawny addressed him. "Uhm," he looked at her and to his feet again, shuffling them sub-consciously. "I'm Crow... and yes. I am familiar with the lands here. I have lived here with Tor for some time now. It feels like I never existed elsewhere before...and...I can sing. I am quickly adapting to swimming too." he felt his usual self expose him for the happy-go-lucky wolf he really was. Crow's tail began to wag furiously, he liked how nice and straightforward this Cael was.
Nelio began his speech again as Crow watched in awe, he addressed each of them as he waited for him to finish so he could relay the information to Tor. Man it was hard repeating everything almost exactly as you heard it. He noticed an almost forced smile on the Cael again and cocked his head to the side. The yagi shrugged it off... 'They are going to allow Raynor to join us but are wary of making any alliances he wishes to propose between us and his pack. Tawny pretty much asked me who I was and if I can be of use to them.' he paused before licking the side of her face. 'Nelio is afraid it will bring us into dangerous situations to ally with other packs. He is also afraid we wont be able to protect ourselves if we are not careful...apparently he tried to make this idea work before, and wolves just didn't show. Nelio is happy we are all here and that we will benefit from traveling and meeting new wolves. He says it will not be easy since we will have to not only be able to perform and swim, but to climb and travel. I think that's it... hope I didn't miss anything.' he thought lastly.

Seeing him taking charge sent thrills up her slender body, that was one of many reasons she looked up to him. She liked how he got in charge of a situation; the memory of him hunting at their first meeting rushed back to her. She remembered how he had controlled the outcome of that hunt and the success was certain at the beginning. She smiled almost dreamily at the memory when Lio and Tortoiseshell had been alone and having a such fun together. The naiveness of her smile turned into a wonder as she began to think when will he and she have some time alone. Tor knew she would love it once again. Well, to be honest who wouldn't while being in the brown cael's company.
The innocent happy cael was distracted from her thoughts when she spotted the other brown cael staring intently at her. Her small ears twitched awkwardly and her head turned to Crow then to her helplessly. Crow didn't notice the female cael's interest. She sniffed disappointedly as she met the female cael's gaze; the yagi wouldn't know either so there was no point asking him. As Tor decided to stare back, she saw something in her silvery eyes. Curiosity and interest. And there was a question. Realisation hit her and she flattened her ears guiltily. This cael was trying to 'speak' to her through telepathy. Tor knew from plenty of experiences it was useless; both females needed to know each other well enough for the telepathic pathway between two minds to open. She shook her head sullenly with her ears flat against her delicate skull to indicate that it wouldn't work. But she quickly gave her a smile to acknowledge her friendliness.
The way mindbreaking worked annoyed her immensely. At the end it was easy; her and Crow were a prime example but at the start it was so infuriating. She's deaf and what was the easiest way to communicate with wolves apart from speaking? But no, they would have to mime until they know each other well enough for Tor to access other's mind. This was just silly. Surely nature would be kind and decided to give her a full access to the power but no, like as usual, nature was a bitch. At least she had a positive perspective of life to make up for her disadvantages.
Tor saw the dark cael and started to observe him properly. He was quite huge; a giant compared to Tor's petite size. His pelt was rich with black and flecks of gold. Extremely attractive, she mused silently. But, if she was being honest, not as attractive as Lio. But it was the dark cael's gaze that drew her in. They were glittering gold and caused a very good contrast against his dark complex. She saw him glancing at her and gave her a smile which she responded with her own. She was ignorant to his confusion; she did not even think the fact that he might be confused by his silence.
She blinked to Lio's smile. She gaped her mouth and wagged her tail in response before looking back to Crow. Raynor? Tawny? So those were who those two caella are. ... Nelio? She perked up, shutting her jaws together and her gaze moved to her cael friend. So Lio was a nickname of Nelio? Nelio. She let the name linger in her head. Her tail wagged vigorously as she found what Lio's proper name was. Tor hadn't even imagined that Lio might have a full name. Then she guessed it shouldn't be so surprising after all Tor herself had Tortoiseshell as a full name. She blinked as she started to wonder if Lio knew her full name. Soon her body began to move slightly as her tail wagged even harder. She knew others might look at her sudden happiness strangely but she didn't care.
Her silver eyes moved back to Crow again. With a struggle she shifted her attention from Lio to what Crow was trying to interpret. He ended it with an uncertainness and Tor was quick to reassure him with a quick lick to cheek. It was fine, he had tried his best. It was much better than before. That was what the cael had 'told' Crow through minds. She leapt to her paws and trotted closer to Lio and asked him through Crow (because she knew their minds weren't quite open to each other yet) if she could be any of use to the circus.
