Banshee had not been out past the den yet, and all he had for company was his stinky brother and his sister. I wasn't fair! He was old enough, he could go farther, he just had to prove it. But his poppa had said no, and the stubborn pup could not accept no as an answer. His sharp blue eye, more aqua than his fathers, had glared at his parents, he could do it, why couldn't he? But all his efforts his parents had simply stood firm, Banshee was not to leave the den area, the forest was dangerous, the wolves were dangerous, the butterflies were dangerous...Banshee had had enough of hearing about danger, he was a brave wolf, just like his daddy and could fight off any wolf.
Of course the little pup had not seen any other wolves, except for his momma and poppa and their nanny. Banshee liked his nanny, she was nice, but poppa said she was their prisoner so he could not make friends. Just as well, thought the pup, one day he would be as strong as his dad and then he would have prisoners too! Then he could boss then all he wanted and he could even have as many as he wanted. His little black and silver streaked tail wagged at the thought.
The last few days his poppa had been gone a lot, and Banshee would often peek outside the den looking for him. His poppa had told him that he was busy planning a festival. What was a festival the pup wondered? Well tonight he would find out and while his nanny and momma were busy the little devil had sneaked out and followed his poppa. It had not been easy, but Banshee had succeeded in keeping up when his poppa was always telling him he was not old enough to yet.
However the black tiny hellion was exhausted from the long walk when he finally made it into the clearing. Eyes popping open wide he tried to take in everything, from the blazing fire to the...the...all the wolves! Whimpering Banshee cowered down behind a bush, there was so many! His little body shook with fear as he watched all the big wolves, eyes desperately weaving back and forth trying to find his dad. Finally he caught sight of him up on a huge rock and the pup took comfort in the sight. He was the Don's son and he had made it through the forest and all the wolves were his subjects too.
Puffing his chest out he marched up to the rock but paused before speaking, would his poppa be mad at him? He had after all disobeyed, but he came so far, surely his dad would be happy to see him? Blues eyes looked upwards at the Don and the large horned wolf. This wolf worried the pup, he was so big and had huge horn everywhere! But his dad would protect him, and so in his unusually loud voice he spoke up, pup voice ringing out, "Look dad! I made it all through the jungle on my own!" He lifted a paw and scratched at the rock, asking to be lifted up for it was far to far for him to jump yet.

The festival had been an excellent idea, and it had turned into a marvelous night that was far from over. Lawson grinned, his saber teeth gleaming even brighter than before in the firelight: She was cute, to say the least, and her powers were impressive. He wondered if she knew how to use them in battle, but he doubted it. She didn't seem like the fighting kind, it was a pity really, she would have made a nice addition. He barked in appreciation along with Scorch, it had been a nice show, but the real show would soon begin. Lawson noticed three mortuis in conversation, surprise etched on his face before cool observation settled in: Three mortuis at once, in the same pack? It was good news for the Mafia, but rather depressing for their enemies... He chuckled low to himself.
What a fine night, old friend... So much excitement... So many females... The Don is continuing his line, but what about yours? His voice hissed in his ear, and Lawson quieted him: No time for that right now, I can always wait some more, for the right she-wolf to present herself. The Yagi had high standards, and if he ever did settle in it would be with a like-minded wolf as himself, not some half-brained twit. He was happy for his good friend, and wished him the best, but he still had time. He eyed the female Yagi, as well as Hysteria, who he winked saucily at as she passed by, watching her join the Eremus.
Another female Yagi walked by, and wished him a good evening. She mentioned about crossing paths again, and he grinned: Why wait so long? She was attractive, and a purebred Yagi: His mind was already jumping to various possibilities, all ending in an enjoyable night for the two of them... Suddenly he noticed a red lupus join them, presenting herself to Scorch: A slave? How interesting... He eyed her with cool observation: She was injured, and didn't look very good, but carried herself with pride despite her circumstances. Instead of a nod of respect, or approval, only one word came to mind: Stupid. Stupid to be caught trespassing, and stupid to believe there was still some hope for her.
When the Don and Donna became tired of her, she would die a harsh and most likely slow and painful death, and he wouldn't mind seeing or perhaps even participating in such an activity: It was what trespassers deserved if they weren't smart enough not to get caught or strong enough to get away. He didn't even bother to look at her, dismissing her as a nothing. Scorch announced the fight, and he saw two of the mortuis advance, Thana and Ajax. He had been the one to accept Thana as a soldier, and had no doubt that she had rather nice abilities. He didn't know Ajax, but deemed him well enough: It would be an entertaining fight.
Next, a pup arrived beside Scorch, obviously one of his sons. He observed the pup for a moment, a small smile on his handsome face, his scar displayed in the firelight: The pup was healthy, and strong, he noted with a nod of approval. He wanted to be picked up, still too small to jump, and Lawson obliged, gently picking the lupus up by the scruff of his neck and deposing him beside his father. He winked at the family: "My compliments again Scorch, if you will excuse me I have some ah... Business to attend to." he gestured with his horns to the female Yagi and Eremus, a gleam in his eye. He nodded politely to the other Yagi: "By the way, my name is Lawson, and I look forward to getting to know you better." he rumbled, his voice deep in his chest.
He padded off and joined the two females, smiling with charm: "Good evening ladies, it is a pleasure to meet you both, how lovely you both look on such a festive night, I do hope you are both enjoying yourselves. If you would join me over there," he gestured with his large horns to an area beside Scorch, with a good view of the clearing, " I would be delighted to have the two of you in my company. I am Lawson, Consigliere to the Mafia, questions or concerns, please do ask, I am here to serve." he grinned roguishly at the last part, mock bowing before them. He whispered to the Eremus: "What remarkable abilities you have, simply stunning!" He then whispered to the female Yagi: "I would love to get to know a fellow Yagi, and such an attractive one as yourself. I wish to cross paths again also, hopefully in the near future." he murmured.
It was the Yagi he was most interested in, although the Eremus was pretty, he only had eyes for purebred female Yagis, nothing less would do for Lawson.

His ears were also very attentive, only worrying about the reply of the black wolf. Ajax did not want to be distracted so having her friend interrupting him by speaking those gargling words was quite... ugh. He was very oblivious to the fact that Inaba moved behind the mortui as if to hide, and that the batting of her eyelashes. He even dismissed the black female's correction, one or two, it didn't matter. He didn't even notice that this Thana had a similar name to his brother. All he was interested in was obliterating his brother from the face of the earth and this tiny piece of knowledge could help him immensely. He raised a brow when the female became skeptical. Why would he lie about him being his brother? Hell, he hated the idea of Thanatos being his brother. But then he couldn't blame her for being suspicious. Those Mafia wolves were pretty dodgy.
He stood still, allowing the red eyes of the undead female to wash over his body. Ajax knew she would eventually do this, to check if he held some resemblance to Thanatos. He knew his appearance would confirm this; the same off-white coat with similar purple markings were evident. He widened his eyes so absorbed into her words; where? Where did she meet him? His patience was wearing thin when she glanced at Inaba behind her. Wait, why was she hiding? But with a flick of his ears and snort, Ajax returned his attention from the silver wolf back to Thana now that her face was towards him not her friend. The plains? Dteria Plains? He stifled a sigh of disappointment; that place wasn't anywhere close here. In fact it would be a few days of brisk walk, if not a week. But for him it would take longer thanks to his limp. Well, at least he knew where to start. He nodded his thanks and opened his mouth to ask how he was when his name rang into the thick, humid air. The strong, commanding voice betrayed its owner. Scorch.
Seriously? Seriously?! Just on the verge of finding out more about his lost brother the boss had decided to announce his name to start a fight for the higher rank. Ajax's whole body screamed him to dismiss the Don's calls and continue interrogating Thana but she was also summoned. That and he had an unfaltering respect for Scorch so he could not bring himself to ignore his order. It took all of his willpower not to walked up to the fighting space sulkily. He did not want the dark lupus to think he was disrespecting him, especially in front of his guests. He wanted to make a good first impression, to show that he was capable of obeying the leader without any second thought. Ajax snatched a quick glance at Thana and saw her wearing something similar to a leer on her face. He looked up at the leader and all of his body fell into a respectful position when he arrived his area.
The gleam in Thana's blood red eyes was something that Ajax did not like. But if he wasn't so absorbed in the thought of finding his brother his sadistic joy in fighting would match hers if not more. He moved his body around so that he was facing his opponent directly. He knew this would be challenging and probably long since the two wolves feel no pain, being mortuis, and were equally aggressive. Ajax's eyes moved down to Thana's skeleton legs. Those would be her weakness; she wouldn't be able to move fast. He had his own exposed ankle but only one not two, capable of giving him an upper hand. He could hang his leg away from the ground and, without it dragging him down, allowing him to move a little more faster. But the fight had yet begun and he couldn't assume more things until then. For once, the thought of Thanatos vanished from his mind as he skilfully observed the possible weaknesses of this mortui opponent. It was then when a sadistic grin crept up to his decaying lips.

Inaba kept her submissive pose as she sat and watched helplessly as the two mortui paced around each other. Ready to start the fight and strike at one another. She tried to muster an uneasy yet comforting smile. She wanted to be there for her friend and let her know she wasn't alone. That Inaba would cheer her on from the sidelines. The blue and gray mortui could not understand why others insisted on fighting like so.
They had held an interesting conversation with the other mortui, Ajax, a beautiful ring to it. Why was she suddenly infatuated with someone she had just met? Shaking it from her mind she kept in mind that staying strong as a mafia member, for scorch and for Thana, were what was important at that moment. She stood and barked aggressively at the two. Ready to see some action, a new glint of hysteria in her eyes.

The small scratching of a tiny paw on the rock and the loud sound of his son's voice sent Scorch into a protective panic. What was his son and heir doing here? This was no place for a pup and this could only mean that the cursed Shallot had omitted doing a proper job! Oh but there would be serious consequences and he resisting uttering a dark curse in frustration. Lawson picked the pup up to lift Banshee on the rock, and had it been anyone else Scorch would have bit their damned head off for daring to touch his pup. Swiftly he tucked a paw around the pup and pulled him in closer where he could be sure to keep and eye on him. Gruffly and mildly scolding he said, "I told you to stay at the den, can you imagine if your mother finds out you've left?" He sighed, supposing there was nothing to it now, "But that was certainly a bold move my son, you are lucky the jungle was so kind, now be still for I must discuss big wolf topics." With his tongue he gave the top of the handsomely marked pup`s head a lick of affection and nuzzled the soft puppy fur on Banshee's neck.
Maybe it was good for the pup to get out and see what the real world looked like, as long as he stayed safely tucked under the Don's wing throughout the night. His mother would no doubt fry Scorch, and Scorch would wring Shallot's little neck. Frowning he turned half of his attention back to the fight, which was not occurring. Barking out he said, "Come come now contestants, don't be shy, such a thing would merit demotion, your audience awaits this show of your talents." His voice was smooth, but an under current ran through it that suggested although his comment may have sounded like a jest he was actually being rather serious.
He heard Kratos and noted the female that had his interest, for all Scorch cared his friend could do as he wished with that one, the cocky little female might find she had bargained for more then she could handle. Laughing at the thought Scorch supposed it might not be such a bad idea after all. "Been fine, and busy as you can see." He said the last as he designated his pup, "But I was never one to fully limit my horizons, their nanny was not such a bad catch either." To the pup's ears such coded messages would not be comprehensible and the Don winked at his friend. Somberly he added, "This pack was a pathetic group of worthless criminals before my arrival, now look at it, we have some fine figures among us tonight!" The Don gave the clearing a sweeping and almost caressing gaze, the pack was his second pup and he had fed it, weened it and was now teaching it to hunt for itself.
With a bit of luck they would set out to conquer new territories, they needed to take some grunt wolves hostage so that they could repopulate the mafia's food supplies while true members continued to wreak the havoc they were born to create. Scorch himself was not opposed to taking a few female captives along the way, innocent fun that all it was. A dark chuckle akin to the darker soul that lived in his body rumbled out from his chest, yes there was still much work to be done. Turning to his friend he gave his son a nudge, "Do greet an old friend Banshee, a great wolf like the one you can hope to become son." His eyes were light with pride, this pup was already big and in fine health, his true love the Donna had birthed them fine heirs indeed.

Post by KRATOS on Nov 15, 2011 10:06:37 GMT -5
Burning ruby orbs glimmered softly in the muted lighting, their expression unchanging as their owner surveyed his surroundings for the first time. The arrival of several newcomers had not gone unnoticed, despite his indifferent disposition. In fact, they seemed to cause a cacophony of noise in Kratos' mind, and he felt the inner beginnings of a headache.
Currently, the brute's mind had kicked into a weary consciousness, ascending into a higher level of awareness. Every single tiny detail in his surroundings, each sight, sound and smell, even the feel of the lush grasses beneath his paws, seemed to have been magnified and intensified several fold in the period of a few minutes before the arrival of the alpha male. The sight of his old friend had calmed him somewhat, and allowed the Yagi to keep a casual air about him. His dark bob tail swished dismissively behind him, causing the dry blades of vegetation to whisper softly.
Kratos knew not what the intentions of these wolves were, and therefore, as was the law of instinct, did not trust them. Over the years, he had learned that the world was far from just or fair, and that not everyone followed the same code of honor when it came to battle. Despite his outward appearance of corruption and evil, the male still somewhat played by the age old rules.
Finally, Scorch snapped him out of his darkening thoughts at the arrival of one of his spawn. Standing silently for the next few minutes as he merely observed the little pup, Kratos could not help the flickering bristle of his nape. Pups were never something the brute had enjoyed being in the company of, nor did he have any desire to have any of his own. Bastards of things they were, coming from the most bastard child that ever lived. He had to admit though, the grey fluff ball was kind of cute, but he could only sigh silently with a restrained disdain before he parted his jaws to speak."Well look'it' you Scorchy. Got yourself the ol' ball and chain too eh?"
With a sadistic grin, the behemoth leaned toward the little pup and winked sarcastically. He would offer no words to him, nor the least bit of affection. He had no experience with young ones and it would stay that way. Lest he accidentally sat on one. Now there would be something he'd love to see. As the Yagi drew back up, he bowed his head at the polite Yagi male that had taken the time to greet him. He was just lucky he had the same blood running through his veins, otherwise Kratos would have ignored him entirely.
It was then the flicker of green caught his orbs again, and a dry, seductive voice caressed his quivering audits. It was that female hybrid. He resisted the urge to face the femme fatale, only straightening his posture as he sat down beside her. He made sure to accentuate his thriving muscled body, because really, that's all he had to offer. And she obviously liked what she saw, her sly double meaning far from unnoticed. It caused the brute to snort confidently, breaking his gaze from the crowd only briefly to lock onto her own. "Whats yer name, da'hlin?"

Narration "Talking"
"Thanks Data," Rache yipped happily and made her way to the outskirts of the clearing. She watched as others arrived, awed by their diversity. A white wolf with a strange stretchy body came with a Yagi. A group of half rotted wolves collected across the way, causing Rache's nose to wrinkle in disgust. A loud excited hybrid. There were so many wolves yet not one of her family members were there.
The little yellow pup's interest was peaked by the red lupus who had been caught with Echo. Doe brown eyes scanned the clearing for her brightly colored Sennyo friend but didn't find him. Rache huffed, he was probably tucked way safely, too afraid of the big bad mafia. It was probably for the best anyway. He was too goody-too-shoes for this lot anyway. They would tear him apart in an instant.
She continued to observe as the festival commenced. Nothing note worthy really happened until she spotted a pup. He was small and very young, but the closest wolf to her age. Quietly she slunk around the outskirts of the clearing over to the Don's thrown. Obviously this pup was what all the fuss was about, the Don's new kid. Her tail wagged, he was the one she needed to be friends with if she wanted to get anywhere in this pack.
Rache gave a little yip, trying to catch the pup's attention without bothering the Don. If only the little thing wasn't so close to it's father. She sat down and looked up expectantly at Banshee, hoping he heard her plea.

The massive wolf that came near him had two funny pointy objects on his head and super long teeth jutting from his mouth which was a rather alerting sight for the pup. As the wolf picked Banshee up the pup trembled sightly, what if the wolf decided to chomp him in two? But all the horned male did was deposit the Don's pup at his father side and rightful spot on the large boulder. Breathing a sigh of relief Banshee shook his fur out and moved closer to his father's side, meshing his black fur into the blood red warmth that always seemed to emanate from his dad. However he did not forget that he had betrayed what his father had told him to do and remained still with his shoulder's hunched to await the verdict. However it seemed his dad was not mad with him and he waged his tail in simplistic joy; he was not in trouble. "The jungle wouldn't mess with me, I am far too strong!" He announced proudly, after all, it was just a pile of plants and he was the Don's son; nothing could hurt him as he had just proved.
Flicking his ears back he looked up at the other odd looking wolf, this one far scarier with all the pointy things coming from it back. His dad wanted him to say hi to that?! Incredulous the pup eyed the large male warily, he did not look friendly and the fur on the back of his back bristled lightly, no way would could he talk to it! Luckily he was saved the task as the wolf left to go say hi to a blue green wolf, now that one looked more friendly. With his father's order to stay put already forgotten Banshee was about to take a daring leap off the rock to go and say hello before his ears caught the sound of a yip. Peering out from around his dad's large shoulder he glanced at the ground to see a funny black and yellow pup calling out. The pup was still bigger then Banshee and he scrunched his snout up; was he to be the youngest here?
Barking out his voice came out louder then one of his size as he demanded, "Who are you? Did you come to play?" His tail waged hopefully as pushed himself out from under his dad's chin to get a better view of the young female wolf. Arching his pack he moved in a crouched position, scratching his little claws on the rock, "But I am the best so you can't win." At such a young age Banshee was already confident he could take on the world all on his own and he knew his rank in the pack very well. Showing his little fangs he quietly hopped off the rock, glancing back to see if his dad had noticed. Luckily his father was so focused on whatever the stinky wolves were doing that he did not even notice Banshee leaving his side; again.

Thana grinned crazily, a mad look entering her eyes. The Mafia was her home, and it always would be. She spotted a small ball of gray fluffiness out of the corner of her eye, and her ears perking up and the pup's shrill words. So this was one of the three pups? She twitched her rotting tail, slightly curious. The pup might yet turn out to be a mortui, but the odds were stacked against him. Mortui were extremely rare, though maybe not as much as she had thought before.. She kept her eyes on her opponent as she bowed to the small fluff ball, he was the heir, and chances were he would rule someday. Thana had respect for alphas and such, which was a good thing, otherwise she would be trying to eat some of the guests. She knew she did not have to eat to live, but she had a soft spot for wolf flesh.
Her red tipped ears stood straight on end with alertness when the Don spoke. Demotion? She frowned slightly, her urge to prove kicking in. So the Don wanted a fight? Well, he would get one. "Don, if you want a more amusement, then I'm obliged to give you some.." She leered at the crowd, then turned back to her opponent. She noted the other mortui's grin, though she wore one almost identical on her maw. The problem was, though, a fight against another mortui would not be as fun for her. So many reasons. First of all, the didn't feel any pain, and that was quite disappointing. No pain meant no screaming, and she loved the screaming. Second, she doubted rotting flesh would taste as good as a normal wolves' flesh, but she would give it a try, anyway. She sighed slightly, she really did enjoy the screaming. And the male wouldn't even grimace in pain. Sad, but if she wanted to prove herself to the Don, she would have to fight the other mortui.
She looked him over quickly, he looked in okay shape. He had only one bone paw, though she could move fast enough on her two. Even though she had a very prominent limp. She snarled and bared her teeth at her opponent. So what if they had been talking civilly moments before? She had been ordered to fight, something she would gladly do. Besides, she didn't care about this wolf. Now, if she had been ordered to fight Inaba, she might have had to do something about that. She glanced over at Inaba, a reassuring smile on her lips as though saying: It's okay, I've handled worse. She was lying, of course, she hadn't ever fought another mortui before, and in her mind, they were the best. She nodded happily at Inaba's aggressive bark, looked like the bird would be ready to fly soon.
She turned back to the other decaying monster, an amused look in her eyes. "Still time to turn back, you know.." She grinned -almost teasingly- at the male. But she knew he wouldn't. No one would disobey the Don. What she didn't know is that not everyone felt such a weird sense of duty for others. She locked eyes with the male, then lunged. She tried to sweep his front paws out from in front of him, which would force him into a kind of bowing position. She then snarled and charged at his ear, hoping to latch onto it. One of her eyes flickered over to the Don, wanting to see if he was happy yet. She growled at whacked at the male with one of her front paws, wanted to grab onto and tear any piece of skin she could reach. She stuck her neck forward and tried to reach the male's throat. Blood.. She wanted blood. A eerie grin was on her face, the ones not familiar to the Mafia's ways would probably be repulsed, the midnight black mortui was enjoying this fight. Her eyes gleamed viciously as she lunged forward again, her neck intended to grab his shoulder.
The male had probably not expected such a fierce and vicious attack, but she was just living up to her reputation. Fight, but in a extra bloody and extra painful way. There where ways of killing a mortui, but Scorch had ordered no deaths, though she wondered if she would be able to kill and call it an accident. She decided not to risk it, some stupid eagle eye might call her bluff. She snarled angrily, a crazed look in her eyes. It was quite disturbing, actually, most would think she was insane, but no matter.
OOC: I know, I'm horrible. I'm so sorry for the amazingly late reply, I really am. I will be faster, I swear. In the meantime, if you want to stone me to death, I totally understand. I would too...

His word was law and he felt compelled to stay in the same area unless told otherwise. He was sure that Thana felt the same, judging from her not advancing towards him. He tossed his head with his paws kneading the earth vigorously, impatient for the familiar strong voice to ring out. He narrowed his red eyes as he saw Thana's insane grin and he returned with his own. There was no way that she would win. This fight was a kind of a test of who was more violent, more bloodthirsty, and more insane. The events and business of the Mafia were often shocking and not many sane wolves were capable of surviving in a such twisted pack. Ajax knew he needed to prove the spectators that he wasn't a weakling, that he was strong and insane enough to handle all this.
He also wanted to prove himself, to prove that he wasn't worthless. That he, despite being a part of the horrendous species, wasn't like his brother. What he didn't know, or willing to admit, that he was also proving himself to himself, if not only to himself. He was very insecure in himself, almost to the point where he thought he was infected only for a sole purpose; to destroy all mortuis. Thana. Inaba. And especially Thanatos. His gaze on the black opponent slid to the silver watcher. ...Odd. Her eyes were blue, not the traditional red of her species (he refused to say his). Was... She was cursed, wasn't she? He did not like the thought of having one mortui that wasn't cursed. To him, every mortui was cursed and deserved to die. He pushed all of those thought away and looked at Thana. This wasn't the time to think about curses and murders.
A bouncing fluffy shape almost distracted him from the growing craziness on the black mortui's face. He hissed; who the hell had let the puppy to wander?! His face darkened and his mind was whirling with the thoughts how to punish this silly ball of fur. That baby should learn discipline and Ajax knew how to teach him. His jaws opened and his tongue poked out of his gaping cheek gruesomely, licking the fur around it. He snapped his jaws shut and his thoughts crashed when he realised this ball was the son of Scorch. The heir and the future Don. He inclined his head away from the sight of the father and son almost ashamedly but no matter whoever this small bugger's father was he still needed to learn discipline. He flattened his ears against his thin skin and this could be taken as an aggressive display along with his lopsided smirk.
A simple statement from the new father rang out in the air and Ajax leapt forwards. He knew this wouldn't be easy as she would feel no pain and, no matter how slow she was, he suspected that she had experience in fighting. Well, which wolves doesn't? But this fight still should be entertaining, especially in the end. He knew Scorch said no deaths but it would be interesting to see who would come out top. Even though she was a mortui, Ajax had no desire to kill her, at least not here and now. He preferred to push her to her limit, well, and beyond it and watch her fall before striking her down. Not today though. Not today, he kept telling himself. He landed just in front of Thana and his reek breath was billowing around her face as he grinned with a toothed smile. "Not today." Her strong stench hit and was killing his nose and he struggled not to wrap his sharp, bacteria infested teeth around her neck and watch her squirm.
He retreated a little to see his target clearly and that was when his opponent leapt at him. But he bounced backwards, just missing her aim at his legs. But he felt something was tugging his ear. He snorted at the lack of sensation and twisted his head around and the tugging increased. When his jaws were in clear position to grab her shoulder he darted forwards and the tugging ceased. But his attack was diverted with her swatting paw and, as a result, his chin crashed into ground. The jarring sensation shocked and cause him to wince. Peering out of the corner of his eyes he saw Thana leaping for him yet again. Hell, how could he attack her if she was attacking him at all sides?! He ducked his head, nose to chest, protecting his throat and felt a sickening scrap of teeth hitting bone as Thana got his shoulder. He threw his head backwards and roughly nudged her grip away before scrambled onto his legs.
At last, Ajax was standing up again and saw Thana's insanity overwhelming her. She must be trying to intimidate him with her bloodthirsty violence. He raised his head unsteadily and rub his nose with a lifted paw. It was wet and slick with red liquid. He grimaced. Blood; resulted from the hit to ground. Ajax glared at Thana, with pure white hatred flooding inside him, threatening to suffocate him. This... This bitch! This rotting, decaying, unpleasant and ugly living corpse! She deserved to be wiped out violently, with the last of her reality crumbling down all around her bloodily. He took a heavy breath; that day will come. Not today as he needed to impress this Don. Ajax glanced at the dark figure of his leader, and bared his teeth ever so slightly when he saw him cooing over his petty son. Wasn't he interested in this fight? This was all for him!
Blinking once, Ajax's decomposing face turned to face Thana. Then he suddenly laughed. "Is that all you've got?" With the last word his laughter grew shriller into a deranged cackle as he feinted left, throwing his head forwards to her shoulders before leaping for real towards her head, intending to smash the strong skull with his outstretched paws. He moved away from his opponent before limped swiftly around Thana and, with a flash of teeth, he attempted to sink his canines into the rotting flesh and pull the flesh away, with his body in a defensive mode; preparing to dart away if necessary. With his attacks, Ajax's eyes gleamed with an odd light. He was enjoying hurting (or at least he should say beating) her and licked his lips in a sadistic pleasure.

Tearen hadn't been having the funnest of evenings: He was getting a little cramped being with his older brother and younger sister all the time, and even if he loved them and they were fun to play with, he wanted something to do. He had noticed Banshee slip out, and had watched him with wide silver eyes, his navy blue ears perked: If he was going, then he had to have a partner in crime, as poppa would call it.
He had slinked out moments later, past his mother, who was busy and the quiet nanny. He didn't really understand why she was there, poppa and momma said she wasn't to be talked to, and he had to wonder why: He knew she must had done something real bad to make his parents mad, because she was being punished. Like a real long time out or something. However, the little pup hadn't though overly much about her, his thought straying to the adventure at hand. Once clear, he had scampered through the jungle, his little nose sniffing every so often to find his brother.
He stepped near the edge of the clearing, the light from the fire glinting off the silver highlights in his navy blue pelt. He was a skinny little pup, though not underfed, it was just his build. His legs were long and skinny, his paws seeming too big and he stumbled a little on them when he entered. There was a lot of noise, and he glanced around fearfully, his silver eyes taking in all the sounds. He supposed this was what poppa did when he wanted to have fun, but it all seemed really boring to the little pup.
He watched wolves big and small, of all colors and species, with large pointy things in their heads and backs, and a stench coming from somewhere had his nose wrinkling: It smelled like a rotten jackaloppe. He noticed Banshee and this other yellow pup, and he padded silently over, his longer fur hanging over his skinny body. Poppa was busy giving orders, and he watched in awe for a moment: He was so big and powerful, he really didn't wanna make him mad. "Hey Banshee." He looked at the female with open curiosity: "Oh, hi to you too."
He nudged his brother: "C'mon, let's get a better view of the fight!" His eyes sparkled with interest, a curious pup. "Betcha we can sneak past poppa if we say low." He flattened his ears and slinked a little to demonstrate. With a little hop to start, he scampered around the large rock his poppa was sitting on, past what surely must be a mountain with trees on his head and a colorful female. He carefully stepped over her tail to find a spot near the edge, hiding in some ferns, his eyes wide as he watched the two fight: So mean, so bad!
They were huge to the little pup, and he hoped Banshee, and the other pup if she wanted, would join him. The fight was the only interesting thing he could see, besides that, he didn't get the point of the whole thing. He'd have to ask momma later...

Thana snarled viscously, though inside she was exuberant. The white mortui stood no chance; she had studied fighting all her life, though the fact that he could not feel pain still remained. Thana contemplated the problem, she supposed she would have to force him into a position where he could not move.. Difficult, but not impossible. She growled and dug her claws into the ground, determined to prove her worth to the Don and his guests. She had expected an answer like that from the mortui, but no matter, she would have to beat him into submission. She growled angrily when her first hit failed to get him, but she had gotten his ear, and she laughed out loud when he hit the ground with a thud. Oh, how right! The male had been forced into a sort of bowing position, one that fit him perfectly. "Give up yet?" She snarled, her mouth in a half formed grin of glee. However, it faded quickly when he got back up, and his comment made her bare her teeth at the male.
She ducked just in time, and his paws missed her head, though in a flash the male was behind her and had stripped away some of her rotting flesh. The bastard, she thought furiously, wheeling around. She struck out at him with a black paw, trying to rip his muzzle. Thana then lunged, her jaws trying to close around his shoulder again. Thana growled, how dare he attack her! The fact that she was attacking him as well was missed, and she roared in anger at the male. She charged at him, hoping to use her brute force to knock him to the ground. She feinted toward his throat, but then reached forward to grab his ear, and try to rip it off. Thana was playing dirty, and she knew it, but to her, it didn't matter. She reared up on her hind legs for a second, then came back to earth, trying to slam her paws on her head.
The female snarled, her face screwed up in anger. This was more then for the Don. This was personal. All thoughts of their strange conversation was out of her mind, all she had was a desire to hurt and maim him. She bared her teeth at him, and then whacked at him with her paw again, trying to strip some of his flesh off. Thana flashed him an insane grin, and then retreated slightly, wondering what his next move would be. Her gaze found another pair of eyes, a pup's pair of eyes. She nodded respectfully to the pup, it must be one of the Don's and Donna's. Suddenly spurred by the pup watching her, she darted forward a snarled, right in her opponent's face. Thana laughed smugly, this fight was already her's.
"Please, just give up already. You have no idea what you signed up for," she whispered at the male. Thana's voice was smooth and velvety, a huge contrast to her un-appealing looks. She glanced at the pup, then at the first one and the Don. She hoped the Don would be impressed, for she was hoping for a higher title then Soldier. Soldier fit her, but she pictured herself as a member of the Hit Squad, and she grinned crazily.

Ebony could hear the noise up ahead, after being in the Mafia's lands for awhile once again she had heard whispers of a festival, full of fighting and celebration. And how could she miss crashing that it would be sad if she didn't show up. She hoped to maybe get to know the Mafia better, maybe making a truce with the Don so that she wouldn't have to keep running into angry Mafia members who wanted her off the territory.
She could now see the glow of fire up ahead and knowing the Don probably lit the fires himself being a fire lupus and all. As she neared the opening to the clearing she spotted two guards, a fairly large female whom she did not know the species of and the yagi who she seemed to run into a lot.
Immediately sliding herself into the shadows she crept around them pulling herself back out as soon as she was in the clearing. Probably just popping in out of nowhere to anyone who was watching. But she didn't think anyone was they were probably focused on the fight between two odd looking wolves in the center of the clearing to focus on a sleek back hybrid who has come to join in the party.
Glancing around, surveying the scene she made out a few pups, the obvious Don on a large rock and a very interesting looking yagi who was sitting beside what appeared to be a hybrid like her since she had never seen one of her colours and build before. Making her way over to them, careful to avoid the battling wolves she came to sit beside the oddly coloured female. Turning her glowing green cats eyes on her she gave a polite and friendly smile. "Greetings."

Phoenix gave a slight nod to the Don before turning away but stopped abruptly after a few steps. The pain in her muslces had disappeared along with the limp that came with the gash in her shoulder. Turning her head she was astonished to find that the wounds were almost fully healed and well on their way to clearing up completely. She then looked back to the clearing, firey eyes searching for her saviour. They landed on a large female yagi who was turning away back to the rest of the wolves. Giving her a silent thanks before trotting to the edge of the clearing sitting down to clean up the rest of dried blood still stuck on her fur.
She finally got up some time later, her pelt now a bright and shining red and her eyes burning and defiant. She knew that if she didn't do what the Don had told her to do she would be in trouble so she decided to go out and ask anyone if they needed anything. Walking over to what looked like a blueish green lupus, and two other yagi before dipping her head politely. "Greetings, I am Phoenix, and have been sent out to tend to the needs of the guests, so anything in particular you three would like?

"Speaking"
Tor ran through the jungle, pelt crackling with electricity from both anger and worry. She had gone out for a hunt before the festival, leaving the nanny in charge of the pups until she returned but when she did return she had found Banshee and Tearen missing, leaving only her dear daughter Pandora alone. She had resisted the urge to barbeque the worthless keiyou but she needed her to look after Pandora while she went to search the jungle for them.
She had searched for at least an hour looking everywhere around the den but when she couldn't find them she began to think of all the horrifying things that could happen to a pup alone in the jungle. But she pushed that away and decided to head to the last place theyd be. The All Hallows Eve Festival.
Bursting through the foliage and into the clearing she headed toward the rock she and Scorch were to be sitting on. Leaping onto it and almost barreling into Scorch when she tripped. Catching her footing before she made a fool of herself before straightening up high eyes searching the clearing for the two pups but only for a second figuring maybe Scorch knew where they were.
"Where are Banshee and Tearen? I couldn't find them anywhere, so I figured theyd be here, unless...." she trailed off when her eyes found the two pups with another older yellow and black pup whom shed never seen before. Leaping off the rock and running towards them, careful to avoide the fighting mortui, stopping in front of them. Though her eyes were angry and stern she was overjoyed to see that they were ok.
"I've been looking everywhere for you two, why on earth would you leave the den after I told you to stay put? And you left your little sister alone at the den." she growled angrily at them but her anger dissipated quickly giving each pup a lick on their heads before turning to the yellow pup. "And who might you be?"
