C I T A L I the jungle was the last place that she wanted to be in. around her, bugs and humidity thrived, and somewhere in these lands the Mafia resided. she could see why they had chosen this place as well. a wolf could be five paws away from her, hidden in the bush, and she wouldn't know. but at the same time, the place was a wonderland for adventure, and thats what she was planning on doing. perfect weather for it too. not to hot, and not to cold, even if it was winter. she smiled and crouched down, seeing a brightly colored lizard perched on a small rock ahead of her.sneaking forward a few paws, she pounced, and trapped the lizard under a paw. "now what do we have here, eh?" smileing, she studied the lizard. blue, green, and yellow, with black eyes. sighing, she let it go. it probally would have tasted bad if she hadn't. turning, she set out once again to find the perfect lizard to eat, hopefully one that wouldn't taste bad.

Conan Anwell slipped into the jungle with ease, it was in his nature to be hidden. Ever since he was weaned from his mother he had traveled to be hidden. He winced from the memory of a long lost loved one.
This jungle was the perfect place to be. For him at least. He blended in pretty well with his brightly colored fur of green yellow and teal blue. The trees were as lime green as his fur, and the sun trickled in on their leaves, leaving an even yellower tint to the entire forest.
He pushed through a great deal of leafy vines and tripped multiple times over roots he couldn't even see. Conan was good and lost now, no doubt. He sniffed the thick air and only came back with information about plants. He couldn't tell if there was a wolf nearby or anything else for that matter. A shiver of fear rippled through his body, was it a good idea to come here? Did it really protect him? After all he had no idea where anything was. It was too late to turn back now, Conan was pretty sure he'd already tried that a while ago and just had been going in circles for a good amount of time.
*SNAP crinkle crinkle SNAP* a rhythmic sound echoed in his ears. He froze, much like a pup would, gently turning his head in the direction of the sound. There was nothing there. Then Conan felt a tickle over his paws. He jumped ten feet in the air and yelped loudly, the sound coursing through the air easily. A lizard. Conan let out a small chuckle. How childish of him to react that way.

C I T A L I as she walked and looked for her mysterious lizard. citalis mind wandered, as it often did, to her family. she really didn't know much about her father and brother. or brothers, she could never really remember. what did they look like? did they have elemental powers like she did? what did her father look like? what was their pack life like? she sighed. if only her mother and father had chosen to live together, and froget their diffrences. but no, her mother had taken her to her pack, and her father had gone off somewhere with her brothers. with a sigh, she sat near a rock. than flicking her tails, focused on makeing something. a glass thing would do. a few minutes later, she had a small glass flower in front of her.
suddenly, a yelp brought her out of her admireing. glanceing around wildly, she grabbed the flower between her teeth and jumped under the nearest bush. after all, the yelp could have came from a mafia wolf. but there was a slim chance that it wasn't. and she let out a small, "whos there?" just to see if it really was a mafia wolf or not.

Conan's chuckle quickly faded when he heard a femme speak. 'Who's there?' He didn't answer, at least not yet. Instead, his heart began to pound in his chest and his eyes shifted back and forth looking for the offender. He quietly crept away and slipped behind a cluster of trees. Any fur that showed passed easily as a leaf or some other kind of plant, but he made sure to crouch down so that his teal legs would not be spotted. He was good at concealing himself in whatever the atmosphere required of him.
He couldn't tell much by the voice, except that it was a girl and coming from somewhere nearby. He sniffed the air, the dank overwhelming smells made it impossible to pick her out. He growled in frustration, trying to keep his voice low and unheard. He stopped, sniffing yet again, this time closer to the plant-covered ground. He dug his nose deep into the underbrush where he could smell a few tracks, undecipherable though.
Conan looked up, gazing straight to where she was hiding, but still failing to see her. "Conan." He whispered, not giving his full name or any other information to her. He peered through a crack between trees, feeling safer now that he was covered too. He feebly attempted an intimidating aura, "You better show yourself before I..." He paused ever so slightly, thinking. "...find you!" His voice was louder now, more threatening, but still failing to sound macho. He grimaced at his own blunder, fully aware that she would probably just run away, or perhaps even just laugh at him. It didn't matter though, he was safely hidden in the underbrush behind some magnificent trees.

C I T A L I
during the few moments after she said the words. she instantly regretted it. the wolf who had yelped would have a vague idea of where she was for one, and he or she would also perhaps know that she was hideing, and she didn't want to appear a coward. but she didn't want to jump up and get her head ripped off for invadeing another packs territory as well. suddenly, she heard the wolf talk. "Conan" and than, "You better show yourself before I find you." she glanced around. if the wolf where to find her... all she would have to protect herself where her powers. she decied to answer the wolf first though. "Why should I come out?" She let out a odd sounding snort. "Oh, names Citali by the way." She peeked out of her bush, looking for another wolf. To her surprize, she saw nothing but bush. "Hey! You're hideing too. You get out first." She paused. "Or or...i'll spike ya!" She glanced around, looking for something to hit with a glass spike to prove that her threat was true. Her eyes rested on a tree. Foucusing, she sent three glass spikes torward the trunk, where they shatterd on impact. That out to at least scare him a bit.

Conan listened in the pause that followed his declaration. 'Why should I come out?' Her voice was rough like a laugh. 'oh, name's Citali by the way.'
He watched closely as she peaked out from the bush, her fur so white it gleamed. His eyes opened wide and his jaw dropped like lead, he fell back at the beauty in this wolf's face. Conan feasted his eyes on her purple and blue tones, wishing he could see more than just a glimpse. Her emerald eyes shone, and when she blinked he couldn't look away. He whined quietly, hoping she didn't hear him.
'Hey! you're hiding too. You get out first.' He was breathless. '...or I'll spike ya!' Then she threw glass ice sickles at the very same tree Conan hid behind. He flinched back and snapped twigs on the way, making an obnoxiously loud "CRACK" noise. At least it was loud to him. He gulped and stepped out from behind the tree, it was only fair. He was careful in his step, graceful like a cat's leisurely pace. He stared directly at the fea.
Conan's coat seemed inferior to hers and he was suddenly self conscious. He lowered his tail, not quite tucking it in, but close enough. If she wanted to 'spike' him she would be in for a surprise. He had a power too, earth bending. He rarely used it, but knew how all the same. Still, he couldn't help but feel vulnerable with her threat hanging in the air. He gulped again, but not out of fear, his throat was thick.
"Don't do that." He pleaded. I don't think I could run. He thought to himself. "We can be friends." We need to be friends. He waited, subject to her next move. If she ran, he would probably follow like a lost puppy. But she didn’t seem like the type that would run so quickly. If she came out, well then he simply had to play it cool. At least that's what he felt he would have to do, there was no promise he would actually do it.

C I T A L I citali pulled her head back in the bush when she heard the other wolf emerging from his hideing place. knowing that he already knew where she was didn't help her confidence. what if he really was of the mafia? could he drag her out and do something to her if he wanted to? or was he really a loner? but than all her questions where dropped when the wolf started pleading with her. the wolf couldn't be one of the mafia if he plead. "fine, fine, i'll get out." she mutterd. hopeing that she was right and the wolf wasn't of the mafia. slideing out from below her bush, she eyed the male. he was wonderfully colored, a mix of greens and blues and yellows. he looked like that lizard she had caught. flicking her three tails, she nodded at the male. "I guess we can be friends. Just don't..eat me or kill me." she said, glanceing around nervously. "please." she added. sitting, she waitied for a responce from the wolf.

‘Fine, fine, I’ll get out.’ Conan’s tail lifted a little when she came out of the bush completely. She seemed… wonderful. He watched as her tails flickered… wait? Tails??? He pushed back his ears and his eyes went wide. He watched her carefully, not so sure now. Panic rippled through his body like ice. ‘I guess we can be friends. Just don’t… eat me or kill me.’ The fea’s eyes flickered back and forth, nervously. Conan perked his ears up in question. ‘Please.’ He thought others were dangerous, almost monstrous. Weren’t they? Why was she afraid he would eat her? His head tilted to the side.
Conan snorted with laughter. “I’m not going to eat you!” That would be monstrous on his part! He looked down and shook his head a little, just the thought of it made him sick. He looked her over again, not lingering anywhere. ”Why do you have three tails, Citali?” The name stuck to his lips. He remembered he needed to play it cool to keep her around, ”I mean… they’re pretty and all…” He stuttered, utterly failing at his ‘play it cool’ notion. With an inaudible sigh, Conan just stopped there.

C I T A L I citali raised a brow at the words "i'm not going to eat you!" of course, he probally wouldn't, but there where some out there that would. she smiled at his second question, and stutterd..explaination. strideing torward him with that catlike grace of her, she walked past him and while doing so, waved the tails near his face. than turned around and sat a few paces away from him. "it comes with being what i am. and what i am is a hybrid. one between your kind." she stuck her head out torward him and than quickl brought it back to her neck. "and my mothers. a lupus and lyxxus hybrid. as are my siblings, where ever they may be." she smiled. "besides that, they are rather usefull with controling my powers. you see, i have the powers of healing, light, and glass. and i get another every year my tail splits. one each year i live that is." her eyes washed over his pelt. he was a lupus, at least as far as she could tell, that or a first year hybrid of her kind. but she doupted that. he had to be a lupus than. satisfied that he was indeed one, she turned her eyes politely back to a clump of grass infront of her and waited, wondering what he would say.

Conan flinched away from her tails. He took a few paces back from her then, watching as she spoke. ‘It comes with being what I am, and what I am is a hybrid. One between your kind, and my mothers. A lupus and lyxxus hybrid. As are my siblings, where ever they may be. Besides that, they are rather useful with controlling my powers. You see, I have the powers of healing, light, and glass. And I get another every year my tail splits. One each year I live that is.’ She smiled, and he returned the favor, gazing at her translucent glass tail. She could easily kill him if she wanted, but the thought of it seemed unlikely. At least at this point it did.
She sat down easily, like a feather landing gently on the grass. Citali looked away at the ground and he did so as well, being reminded of his own manners. ”I don’t know where my siblings are either.” He said just to relate, he knew they were dead. They had met their demise a long time ago. Conan now stared at the dirt floor with a hint of tragedy in his teal-blue eyes. His mind was in a far distant place of puphood. He remembered where he really was only seconds later, refocusing his mind on the present. He breathed deeply and glanced her ay again. ”Their names were Hart and Raine…” He said, a tinge of pain in his voice. He didn’t even realize he’d said ‘were’ instead of ‘are.’
Conan lifted his head a little, looking away from the grass now and back at the femme, Citali, for just a moment. The air was too thick and Conan began to pant lightly. This would be the perfect place for him to live, if there wasn’t already a pack here and if the air were not so solid.

C I T A L I citali stared at the grass with a pained look on her face. with the mention of his siblings, Hart and Raine, she had once again rememberd her own lost siblings. the other pups of Areli and Facon. her parents. she had never gained what thier names where, and only had a vauge idea what they looked like as well as what her father looked like. Areli had barely mentioned her siblings and father. in fact, Areli barely talked to her at all, for she was just another mistake that her mother had made. swallowing, she glanced back up at Conan. trying to think of something to say besides something about thier familys. "err, this land is nice, no?" she forced a smile. "i would have started a pack here was it not already taken. but there are other lands to do that in. the islands maybe, i have heard that they are quite dazzleing." she nodded, trying to act excited about the notions of the islands. but after awhile, the smile faded from her face and she drew her eyes away from Conan and back to the ground.

Conan could tell he’d made her uneasy. ‘err, this land is nice, no?’ He laughed nervously while nodding, unsure of what to say. ‘I would have started a pack here was it not already taken. But there are other lands to do that in. The islands maybe, I have heard that they are quite dazzling.’ ”So I’ve heard, but I’ve never actually been there.”
Conan sniffed the air as a habit of his. It smelled odd, like something was there. He could almost feel the breathing of something that was lurking in the underbrush. His hair stood on end, ignoring anything the femme did at this point. As a skittish wolf, Conan was easy to frighten. He glared into the distance, away from her. Though his eyesight was poor and blurry for that far a length.
He bared his teeth, silently watching. Then out popped the same little lizard that had run across his paws earlier! He pounced and landed square on its tail, allowing the lizard to flee while leaving the extension behind. Conan stuck his tongue out and let go of the disgusting little thing that still squirmed in his paws. Gross! He thought angrily.
He then remembered Citali and gave her an embarrassed grin. ”Heh. Little buggar!” He lay down in the grass, there was not much space and he was awfully close to the she wolf. He could feel the embarrassment fade, but his anxious grin remained.

C I T A L I citali was actually quite glad when the lizard that she had caught before rushed into the clearing. conan managed to snatch up its tail in his jaws, than plop it out awhile later with a look on his face. she didn't blame him, all that coloring was probally a warning sign of some sort. laughing, she watched as he came to lay next to her. smileing at him, she fidgeted for a moment, wondering what to do. than finally decided on messing with the strands of light that made thier way through the overhanding trees. twitching her glowing tail, she focused on bending the light to her will, and ending up makeing them dance across her and conan for awhile, than die down. laying her head on her paws, she studied the ground and him, tryin to think of something to say. "what shall we do now? us two souls." she ended up saying. still eyeing the ground and him and thinking a bit on her family. she would like to have one of her own one day. but she hadn't quite figure out who. perhaps this conan would be the one.

Conan’s ears lay back as his eyes watched the masterful work of Citali. She worked the light in a way that captivated him. He was almost disappointed when she stopped, but didn’t say anything about it. ‘What shall we do now? Us two souls.’ Conan smiled, unsure of what they should do, though knowing there was really only one thing to do.
He shifted the earth in front of them and the grass began to tear and rip apart, the dirt lifting into the air and molding into an entirely new shape. Landing gently on the ground, before her nose, the dear he’d shaped stood regally. It had antlers that pointed to a sharp crisp, and a grassy texture to its fur. Lasting only for a second though, the dear soon fell apart. Conan smiled, happy that’d he’d at least been able to do that much. He hoped he didn’t spill any dirt on her coat.
He’d never really gotten a chance to learn much of his element. It was difficult and he was only by himself now, having no one else to guide him. He missed Galilee, his loving mentor. Though they differed on elements, many of the concepts he’d explained were simple and easy to apply to Conan’s own element.
Conan rose to his feet, wagging his tail slightly as the he looked back at the femme. ”What else to do than hunt?” He was hungry, and never really got a chance to hunt with another wolf. He knew he could use the help, though his hunting skills were keen. Looking around for a moment, Conan realized it would be difficult to hunt in a forest so thick… ”Perhaps somewhere more… fitting?”

C I T A L I citali nodded at his suggestion. she was getting rather hungry, and at the mention of moveing somewhere else, her ears perked up. finally! to get out of this jungle and away from the pack that lurked here would be bliss, that and food! than, remembering his earth bending show, she beamed a smile at him, and treated him with another short light show, bending the strands for a few short minutes before she lost consentration. standing, she waved her tails at him, indicateing that he should stand as well. than spoke. "Nice bending, maybe I could teach you when where on the way to hunt. Maybe we should go to the upper lands, or if you want we could oth see if the islands have any food." she waited a moment, than flicking her tails, told him to follow. and with a made up mind, walked torward the upper areas of the lands of wonderwhy, not wanting seafood for dinner. as she walked through the bushes, she hoped he was behind her, following.
