Dainty paws pressed lightly into the lush carpet draped over the forest floor, the moistness held within the mosses squishing between each canid toe. Gray claws were careful against mother earth's hide not only in an attempt to keep as silent as possible upon these new lands, but to preserve her as she did for the creatures who found themselves thriving within her embrace. The wolfess' frame calmly danced through the shadows, each lean muscle relaxed until it was its turn to assist in thrusting lean limbs forward. A thick, rose tipped plume waved casually between angled hocks, crystalline orbs were soft and unworried. It seemed that either that the fae belonged here, or was simply unaware of the evil that lurked within the darkness of this forest.
If one was to examine her closely the only sign of interest that would be found was the auds that stood at attention upon her feminine skull. Occasionally they would survey her surroundings with a pirouette allowing them to take in any sound in the distance as they acted like tiny radars. Her journey was a constant one for the last month or so, always moving from one place to the next. Invasion of territory wasn't something she was new to. Most packs didn't care much as she presented herself as nothing but a sweet and gentle fae that simply needed a place to rest. They opened their lands to her with open paws. Stupid wolves. Ink lined tiers slithered tightly upward into a menacing smirk as the stench of the pack that claimed these lands hit her nares like an invisible wall. She was finding her way further into their territory. At the point where her senses were being attacked by the invisible force of scent marks was the spot where most would falter, yet her pace did not miss a beat.
Before long the gentle sound of running water grew stronger, and the fresh scent of water tickled her senses causing her tongue to throb with the dryness it had been enduring. Only now did those pale pink orbs find themselves rolling in their sockets to investigate the area, which seemed to be empty. Naya found it odd that none were lurking by the waters hoping for a meal or to sip from the clear pool. Motion ceased only when the cool liquid was soaking the femme's front paws, turning the slate hued fur that lined them into a slightly darker shade. An elegant neck lowered allowing her tongue access to the fresh fluid. The crimson muscle plunged through the surface curling around a group of droplets before pulling them into their final journey. The feeling of the crisp water sliding down her aching throat was bliss. Every sinew tingled with the sensation. It had been much longer than she had thought since her last pause for a drink.

Humidity always made blood more sticky, especially when it got everywhere. The very small myou made his way, almost stiffly through the underbrush. His gray fur was matted with blood from his last, very large meal. He had lost himself in the carcass, ending up almost completely covered. Beady black eyes glared out, hardly seeing from the red face. He was in a good mood.
The shrew-myou was heading toward the small creek that ran through part of the territory. It was a good place to take baths, no need to attract the rest of the pack to him with the scent of fresh blood. He had a hard enough time keeping a few of them from eating him as it was. Though now...that might have changed. He was going to be a father, as strange as it seemed to him. The wolf that had, well forced him to sire offspring for her, had been one of the ones he feared would kill him. Another myou, with the second soul of a cobra. The rodent-wolf shuddered at the thought, despite his full belly that kept the voracious shrew at bay.
Nonetheless, he was fine to have a while to himself. Coming to the waterside, he sniffed around as he placed his claw-like paws into the water. The water streaked a little red, sending it down river to a shadowy silhouette near by. The hell? A stranger this far in? Maybe he had spent too long eating at his last sitting. He was upwind of her, hence why he didn't detect her right away. He was not too far away, but well out of striking distance. He bristled, and opened his mouth in a silent hiss, showing his very odd, red-capped teeth.
" Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?" The scrappy male glared at the fuzzy form of the wolf. The shape seemed to be female....and a lupus. Well, Sylvester would like that...maybe. No matter, the intruder needed addressing, He could relay things to the Don later.

Why was it impossible to use the senses of taste and smell simultaneously? It seemed to all happen at once, two of her remaining senses being bombarded at the same time. Furry brows furrowed casting shadows over pale optics as the once clear pool slowly began to stain crimson. Immediately after noticing the change within her drinking glass harsh words invaded the fae's rose stained auds. Although her mind was flooding with the many options before her...run, fight, seduce...her delicate frame stayed just as comfortable as it was as she sipped the refreshing waters.
Orbs slipped to the corner of their ebony lined sockets landing upon the small brute that stood only a short distance away. Naya pulled her tongue into it's moist cavern, locking it away behind ivory bars as her tiara lifted to it's full height twisting to offer her facial features to the male. Two steps were taken turning her frame to face him head on. That was the polite thing to do wasn't it? A full plume flickered in a feline fashion between her hocks, as rounded soldiers stood at full attention locked upon the Myou brute. Only now did his full scent twist it's way toward the dark pits nestled in her moist nose. The sweet scent of blood over powered his own tantalizing the urge to feast, sharp pains stabbing through her stomach. One thing about Nahemah was that once she had her sights set on something nothing else mattered, even if it meant not eating or drinking for days.
Lids closed ever so slightly as her inky lips stretched into a sweet, soft smile. Another step pulled her closer with both tiny front paws nestled tightly against one another. Her tail began to flicker more harshly, a strange habit she had picked up while wandering with a small group of Myou not long ago, one containing the soul of a feline. A musical voice pushed from the fae's larynx, each note taking the opportunity to dance upon the slight air currents that passed between the two wolves. "Pardon me, sir. I didn't mean to intrude. I was just so thirsty and couldn't resist the sweet scent of your water sources. My mind wasn't right." The typical sweet facade was pulled over her entirety, the same act that got her everything she had ever wanted before. Though not every statement was fault. Her mind surely wasn't right according to most.

((Just so you know, we do not really use rp-speak here. We prefer proper English. A few words now and then are fine, just don't expect anyone else to respond in the like.))
Her words meant nothing to him. He snorted in response, sending a few flecks of blood out of his nostrils. He could hear her honeyed voice, but he did not care in the least what she had to say in her defense. He took a few more steps into the water, standing ankle deep with the tip of his thinly furred tail submerged. His tattered ears were pinned forward and the whiskers on his face seemed to reach out to catch any scents that came with her, on the off chance the wind shifted.
"Well you are intruding, and you'd better leave, this water is not for absent minded loners." He curled his lips back into a snarl, most wolves that dared to venture this far in either joined the pack or were killed by the pack. The toxicity of his bite would not kill someone her size, yet it would slow her down enough for the rest of the pack to find and destroy her.
The sweet tone and apparent nature of the female was sickening. Seduction was lost on the shrew-wolf. He knew that any female talking sweetly was attempting to get something she wanted, including males. As repulsive as he was, any female speaking that way to him was lying through her teeth. He did not appreciate liars.
He felt a tightening sensation on the side of his face as some of the blood managed to dry and pull on his pelt. He lifted a clawed forepaw, dripping with fresh water, to scratch at it. Rivulets of blood dripped off of him and into the water. For once the blood was of prey. A boar. Despite his grooming, his beady eyes stayed on the form of the wolf before him.
"Don't just stand there gawking, get!" He growled at her, allowing her to run was just the appetizer. She would not get out alive if she choose to run. He knew the Hit Squad was not to far off and they were itching for action. However, if this lupus wanted to join the ranks, he would have to give her something to do to prove her worth.

The bitter words would have lashed at the emotions of most females, yet it was as if the sound of his voice grew fingers pulling ebony lips back and skyward into a devilish smirk. Now this was more than she bargained for, and she was quite pleased with the situation. If one thing seduced Naya it was danger. Her blood began to rush through the entanglement of veins and arteries hidden beneath her hide's surface, her heart pounding faster against the cavity that contained it. If it weren't for the look of pure lust that had saturated her features one would certainly sense an enormous amount of fear filling her aura. Quite contrary, it was pleasure that caused her body to go into such a fit. A single brow quirked as he suggested that she be on her way, allowing a ray of light to skate across gemmed irises.
Instead of taking heed to his grouchy commands of her departure a thin limb stretched forward pulling the female one step closer to him. The same soothing tone tainted the pure atmosphere as before, her head falling slightly off kilter as soon as the words began to flow, "Oh my, you want me to go? But I was just getting comfortable." Sarcasm was obviously laced through her questioning. It was apparent that he wanted her gone, but was it just as obvious to him that she didn't plan on going any where? Exactly what would he think of this situation? Her gaze dropped away from the sight of the strange looking creature traveling across the terra. She took her sweet time allowing each stone and leaf to be touched by her surveying watch. Eventually he was blessed, or so she thought, with the attention of her eyes once more. All other senses were fixated upon him as trust was something she held for not a single soul, not even herself. "I rather like this place. Are all those who reside here like yourself?"

His nostrils flared a little as he scented fear and adrenaline, his eyesight was not great so he did not see that she was enjoying it. She didn't turn tail and run though, so she had mettle. He was reconsidering calling in the Hit Squad. Maybe she could be a potential pack member. He had to change his tactic in dealing with her.
She came closer to him, his curled a lip back over his shrew teeth, the red caps dull in the light. His ears quivered at her words. She was snarky wasn't she? "If you want to stay. You have to earn it." His beady eyes glared into her figure, evaluating her. Lupus were always useful, well provided they had powers that didn't kill him. He had a burn scar or two from Sylvester's sneezing fits.
"If by like myself, you mean blood covered rodent-myou, then no." He glared a little at her, not appreciating her tone at all, "However. There are other wolves that do not take lip, or disrespect either." He gave her a look of disdain, this pack was rooted in respect and obedience, so far she had not shown either. His tail flicked in annoyance, though he was more willing to hear her out if she wished to join.

His unique teeth caught her attention, her gaze silently investigating in interest where most would back away. This must be a trait of his prey half, which he obviously was from the stench of him. Her smirk faded as the curiosity took over the expression upon those lovely features. Not only did it transform her face, but it drew her closer slowly closing the distance between the pair. Only now did her full of herself posture shift to something offering peace to the male. Slightly rounded ears fell backward against a feminine skull, which also found itself lowered slightly. Her movements were slow and calculating as his reactions were carefully judged with each silent paw fall. Generally such a posture would place her in perfect position beneath most males, hopefully it would be seen as what it was meant to be by the smaller myou. Wouldn't he be use to such differences with his size?
Naya wasn't one to offer respect to those who hadn't earned it, but her posturing was more for gaining a better look at this creature. His words tickled pink ears causing them to flick forward and pull a smile upon that muzzle. "Earn it? Is that right?" Her questioning seemed honest and thoughtful, and rightfully so. Never before had she tried a natural approach to joining ranks. It seemed wrong to use her gifts of manipulation to weasel her way into a group with which she truly hoped to stay with rather then wreak havoc. Her weight shifted back upon narrow haunches, a full tail wrapping around dainty pink marked paws. The facade seemed to drop away from her being and seriousness, as much as she could muster, replaced it. "I mean no disrespect to you, myou. I apologize if you took my words in such a fashion. My tongue is simply too sharp for its own good at times." With that the red, moist muscle slipped from her mouth dabbing each side of her muzzle gently as another silent peace offering. "I'm known as Nahemah, or Naya if you wish. I've heard of the mafia through my travels and it seemed to be the right place for me." Her head tilted, one brow raising curiously at the male, "May I ask who I should speak with to attempt to join ranks, and what it is that I must do to 'earn' my place here?" The names of those within the mafia were not spoken to her previously, only the menacing personalities that could not fit into a "normal" pack. Although Naya could easily blend into any other pack she wished, surely she would not be happy hiding her desires and abilities from everybody forever. It would be much more fun to be able to share them with another openly and not have to be so secretive for every moment of her life.

She came closer, much to his begrudging. He was still in the river, only part way cleaned. He kept his stance of defense, even though she was starting to show signs of submission. It was a step in the right direction at least. He kept a wary eye on her, as much as he was able. He could see more details of her face though, which made it easier to read facial features, not that he was good at reading them. "Yes earn it. We don't let just anyone join. You have to prove that you will be valuable to the pack."
"A sharp tongue to the wrong members will get you reprimanded and disciplined." His eyes narrowed a little as he listened to her description and explanation as to how she ended up here. Either his pack was lacking, or she was crafty enough to elude them. He snorted a little as she spoke again, or rather just kept speaking. "To join the pack you talk to me. I am second only to the Don. So most potential pack members go through me and my tests before they join." He held himself in dominance.
He looked her over, now that she was closer to his range of sight. She was oddly colored and marked, what could her power be? He decided not to ask, he would find out sooner or later. The blood on his side was starting to cake. He lifted a wet paw to scratch the flakes off and into the water to be swept away.

A brow quirked once more in the stranger's direction. Why was he so grouchy? After a mere moment of considering it she could see some reasons. After all, she would be irascible if she were so easily mistaken for a meal choice as well. His words were actually welcomed. Too many packs would just rush to the chance to grow their numbers not truly caring about what they were allowing to take up their ranks. At least there needed to be some point to having members within this pack. Now what exactly would she have to do to earn her place? The variety of ways flitted through her mind, pulling her inside herself just for a few breaths. That devilish smirk that so often twisted her ebony lips had reappeared just as the myou began to speak once more. It would seem that the mention of being scolded had brought the interest to her features. Indeed it had shared some part of the expression, though mostly her thoughts of earning her way into the pack overshadowed it greatly.
Second in command? That actually caused exotically shaped eyes to round in surprise. She had expected something else. Perhaps a guard, messenger, spy, or something else rather ordinary. Second in command was definitely not what was on her mind. Apparently it was wise that she decided to show a little respect, even though she didn't feel he deserved it yet. She didn't know him any more than she was friends with the Don. However, her beliefs that respect needed to be earned was the exact reason why she offered it. How would he ever feel comfortable with her without powers unless she offered what he was looking for first. Naya couldn't help but wonder exactly why he was chosen for such a high position. Was he hiding some secret talents? He obviously wouldn't be the strongest nor the fastest. There had to be reason. But if this strange male was second in command the lupus couldn't help, but wonder what was so spectacular about the Don. Hopefully she had a chance to find out.
His dominant posture didn't urge the slate and rose bitch into a more submissive stance, yet she held the same as before. She could offer respect in lupine form, but never would she bow down pathetically as long as she had free choice. Surely he didn't expect it from her, but the thought of Napoleon syndrome surely crossed her mind. With that sly grin and her eyes still dampened with the lust of previous thoughts she rose once more. Elegant limbs stretched forward pulling her dangerously close to the shrew myou only to create a half circle around his blood crusted frame. Her thick tail seemed to float through the air flickering with each step, only daring to touch his thin coat briefly as motion ceased. If she were more sure of him and what advantages he had over her she would have braved the territory nearer. "Well than, sir, please let me know how I could prove my usefulness to you and your pack." A dainty paw lifted from the waters pushing gently down his shoulder where the blood from his meal had hardened the fine hairs and the water had not yet washed. The sensation of the life fluid hardening was obviously irritating the male, and at least she could be some what helpful in his predicament. Perhaps it was a mental deformity, or a side effect of her gifts, but she had a hard time resisting physical contact with those she found herself near. Typically if she weren't wary she simply would've begun grooming him.

The jungle was sticky and humid. Sylvester trots smoothly through the jungle, leaping and bounding over the obstacles of fallen logs and thick underbrush with all the grace of a gazelle. His pink tongue hangs heavily from his open mouth; his labored breath and pounding heart block out all noise. He relays on his nose to keep him heading in the right direction.
Sylvester stops long enough to get his bearings before continuing on. He slows his pace as his destination gets close. He can almost feel the water sliding down his throat. Yes! There is the tree that marks the Clear-eyed pool! All he needs to do is jump over one last wall of ferns and various jungle foliage! But wait? Are those voices? Sylvester growls softly to himself and peeks through the leaves to see a disjointed picture of his Underboss with a stranger.
Sylvester grins to himself. Nothing quite quenches thirst like the blood of a wolf. He is about to jump in, lightening rolling, when he catches snippets of their conversation. Damn. She wants to be a member. Time for Sylvester to make an appearance...
"What gives you the right to touch your superior, bitch?" His voice lashes out like a whip. He shoves himself though the thick bushes, and stands imperiously in front of the female. "You are a prospective member of the Mafia, and as such you will treat those of high rank with respect." He spits the last word out, this air around him starting to crackle with energy. Above all he hates disrespect, and the thought that someone would lay a paw on a superior! It was enough to make him shudder.

She came closer to him and the scent of a predator flooded his olfactories. Luckily enough he had recently eaten, so the prey instinct was dulled to the invasion of personal space. He bristled as her paw came to his side. Maybe she was trying to help, he felt the blood loosen and slough off. However she had not been given a rank, nor accepted into the pack just yet.
His lip curled in a silent warning, he was tempted to take a bite out of her. His toxic saliva would teach her a lesson she would not soon forget. She was large enough that it would only be a burning, itching irritant, depending on how deep his red-caped teeth penetrated. His tail lashed in mounting aggression. This female was strange.
" After you take your paw off me, tell me what skills you can--" He was interrupted by the arrival of the Don, he snapped his head around to face him. Instinctively dipping his head in respect. As his reprimand began, Flynn shuffled away from the female to stand behind and beside his superior. The Don would speak first before Flynn finished the business of initiation.
His nostrils flared as the all to familiar scent of ionization filled the air. His beady eyes shifted to the water they all stood in. Great. This could end terribly if the Don released his element. He held his tongue though. If things escalated, then he would voice his concern for his personal safety.

Furry brows dipped casting shadows upon her feminine face as her company's lip began to quiver above his odd teeth. Her small paw froze as half way to reaching for his shoulder once more. A single rose tipped ear pirouetted toward the sound of his tail lashing out against the atmosphere only to twist slightly toward the distant overgrowth of vegetation. A look of pain struck her features, wrinkles deepening within her forehead as she drew her paw away to delicately place it into the silt below their feet. Orbs rounded, and inky lips tightened in a frown.
Before her voice could offer a verbal reaction a fellow lupus stormed from where the slightest of sounds were heard only moments earlier. Though gemmed irises locked upon the male who had decided to interrupt her fun, attentions were silently shifting between the two more interested in the relationship. It swiftly became obvious who this wolf was by the respectful gestures offered by the strange Myou. Both ears tipped forward to a fully attentive stance with the occasional shimmy as the irritating sound of forming electricity tickled within them. Only minute other changes were made. The dramatically hurt expression slowly dissipated replaced by curiosity. He was definitely an impressive male much to her surprise considering his sidekick.
Her tongue was held tightly within her teeth as she felt it attempt to slyly sneak words toward the Don. This whole situation was something completely new to her. Normally she weaseled her way into a group and fed off of them like a parasite simply for amusement. Did she not really know what respect was, or was their respect different than her own version? Two different point of views on the same subject? If it were any other speaking to her in such tone mucous would be released in a snort. Grudgingly her aerodynamic skull lowered an additional notch though those pink eyes glared as if she hoped daggers would shoot from them gouging out both males hearts simply to offer her a snack. The typical smirk found upon Naya's maw was mentally fought away, though it put up quite a fight with several twitches of her lips appearing and vanishing just as quickly. Finally her voice rang clear a as a bell, full of sincerity, "I apologize, sir. I was simply trying to be helpful. He seemed irritated by the drying. I meant no disrespect. Quite contrary actually." The bitch's gaze slipped from one male to the other as if to offer him her silent apologies before returning to the head honcho. "In my experiences one does whatever would make their superiors' lives easier." It surely would be difficult for any to tell how much truth she told and how much was complete and udder bullshit. In all honesty, Nahemah barely knew herself. Fantasy and Fact blended together to suit her needs.

Sylvester's lip curled, and he fixed her with a glare. "Are you talking back to me?" He questioned harshly, his tail rose in dominance. He snorted in disgust. "Last time I checked Flynn in a full grown wolf, and can take care of himself. Don't let me catch you laying another paw on a superior." He growled, shuffling closer to the female, but kept his distance. "You have been warned." He let the warning hang in the air, and his lip curled high to expose fangs. His fur stood on end with built up electricity, and the air crackled and snapped around him.
He eased back slightly, and squinted his teal eyes at the female. "I am Sylvester, Don of the mafia. By joining the mafia you are pledging your loyalty to me and by extension, my underboss. You will follow out lead unquestioningly. I say jump, you say nothing, you just jump. You will not divulge our secrets, and you wont try to leave the mafia or you will end up dead, understand?" He rumbled, his voice like distant thunder. He walked around the female, inspecting her. "Of course, we do not let just anyone join. You will have to prove yourself. Impress me."
Usually, the female would just go out and kill someone. But that was getting old, and Sylvester was turning away wolves who brought him back body parts. Apparently, it was too easy to kill a wolf. To many wolves got into the mafia by killing, and then turned out to be to soft. Sylvester would need to be showed something new, something exciting. "Flynn." He grunted suddenly. "What should we make her do.?

As the female defended her self and Sylvester went on a tirade, Flynn took a moment to lay down in the water and roll a bit to get the blood off his pelt. He never liked dry blood on him, but he didn't trust anyone enough to help him out. At least he was a little less....as ironic as it was, nearsighted, than Sylvester. The female was trying to help, and a part of him, hidden beneath his crusty, irritable shell appreciated that. However, he would not speak against the Don. It was their partnership that started the Mafia, it would be silly to ruin a good thing.
He stood back up and shook the excess water out of his short pelt, careful to aim the spray away from the other two. He came back to his position beside Sylvester as the Don repeated what Flynn had said earlier. Once he was addressed he took a step to be within sight of the Don and cleared his throat, "Lately I've been asking what skill sets they have, sir. Then from there finding a fitting challenge that would best use them to suit the needs of the pack."
He had been in the middle of asking that when Sylvester arrived, so it was only appropriate for the female to answer him now. He looked toward her silhouette, waiting for her to voice her talents.

Triangular ears shifted slightly backward as the don's voice boomed angrily in her direction. No other muscle seemed to flinch under her lush pelt, ears only attempting to escape the shift in the force rippling through the sound waves. 'Talking back'? She wondered exactly how she would have been doing such a thing swiftly replaying each word she offered to the male. When she came up blank a furry brow quirked curiously. Her gaze never left the leader's features casually following his every move. As he slowly began to round her through the water like a shark stuck in the shallows her attentions fell onto his peculiar fur that was reaching skyward. The electricity could be seen urging him to allow it to release using him as a source. This had Naya's full attention, pushing the words that were flowing from his maw to the background. Nothing but dull sounds rolling about in her head were received, though she surely knew what all of the blubbering was about.
One word yanked her mind away from it's thoughts and consideration of simply touching Sylvester simply to see what he felt like, 'Flynn'. That must have been the name of the Myou who was just finishing up bathing. Teeth grasped a lip as she considered how much faster the cleanup would have been if she had finished helping. With one brow still held high and the other dipping over a slightly narrow optic she listened intently to the pair. Impressing was what she did. It was what her life was always about. Apparently, that was up until this point. As soon as he asked for it, the female lupus strongly contemplated giving it to him. Although she seemed oblivious to body language she was quite good at reading others. The slate hued wolf just chose not to care much about such things, only what she wanted. From the over reaction of her touching Flynn alone it was obvious that Sylvester had physical closeness issues. His whole demeanor and each movement gave him away. Spending her life reading every potential victim to play her very own reworked game of chess had added to her gift allowing her the knowledge of who to concentrate on and when.
No longer able to hold back ebony lips pulled back, slowly slithering into a demonic smile. Although the actual positioning of her eyes had not shifted in the least a whole new expression was offered mirroring what was laced upon her mouth.
