She knew the capabilities of her mate, so she watched the female with the scuffle went on. Had she not been pregnant she would have added her own reprimand to the lesson, but the whole ordeal was making her weary. Her eyes narrowed a little at the confident display, however the apology made everything awkward. This female contradicted herself in several ways. Cypress was beginning to wonder if she had ever had pack life in her life. Confidence was appreciated, however not to the point of defiance.
She glanced at her mate, gauging his reaction to the female. He didn't like her that much, to be honest he never really liked other species of wolves to begin with. She wondered if he was disappointed by the fact that there was only one other yagi in the pack that was not in their family. She looked to the sky for a moment and let out a sigh. She would not get her soak today....the geyser would go off soon and that made the mud holes more volatile than pleasant.
She waited for her mate to finish speaking before stepping up next to him, " Now that that is settled....you will be allowed to join our pack. You will not be given a rank until you prove yourself worthy. Consider this a probationary period, if we are not pleased with your progress, you may find yourself cold and alone once winter comes." It was mostly an empty threat, she had never run anyone out of the pack. But she was serious about being pleased with the progress this young female learned. Her voice remained strong and firm, even if her eyes were beginning to tire. The fire flickered, but the fierceness was fading. She needed to rest again. Soon after the pups were born her full vigor would be restored.
"Arkham, my love. Walk me home?" She turned, not waiting for an answer. Her leaden feet carried her back towards the direction he had come, following his massive pawprints. Her poorly docked tail remained in the position her status allowed. Kryptonite would be allowed to come to the dens, as long as Arkham and their soldiers were near by.

"Talking!" Normal!
After this whole scheme was over and as they turned away she let out a shuddering sigh, releasing the hidden fear she kept inside against Arkham. He... reminded her of her own father. Just as fierce and dominant as he was, but more controlled over his power. Still, it terrified her.
"Thank you Cypress. Thank you Arkham." She whispered her silent gratitude and let the lead wolves get some distance before following behind them with herself.

Fear What I am Going To Do To You. The Emperor just stood there as his mate took over the reigns of acceptance. If he had had it his way, the insolent bitch would have been chased out minutes ago. Ruby eyes still lay locked onto the Lupus, weary of any more outbursts.
Only when Cypress spoke did he break the stare, licking her face quickly before snarling softly at Kryptonite. It was harmless really, just a warning that she keep her distance. And with that he turned to follow his mate, his movements stiff, his anger long gone but still dwelling somewhere inside. The Lupus had better learn her place, otherwise another place she would have to find.
