She was pleased that the two lyxxus now seemed cheerier, and pleased that she had found friendly company. She still felt bad though, and that despite what the pair may have said, like she didn't truly belong. With that thought, the myou cast a glance over her shoulder at the path that had led her here. It wasn't freedom she would miss and certainly not the lonliness, but instead the safety.
Of course the secretive Republic was indeed a rather safe pack in truth, and they seemed pleasant so far, many suffered from past's that haunted them, and perhaps Zoe never would get over hers, especially not if thoughts of running from these kindly wolves constantly plagued her mind.
She did follow though, pausing only slightly longer as she caught sight of the strange thing attached to Fyodor's side. It took a moment for her to realise it was actually the leg she had presumed to be missing. It was indeed an odd sight to see such a small limb on an adult, though Zoe was hardly normal herself. With that thought heavily in her mind, she would likely easily learn to ignore Fyodor's flaw, though at least for now it did shock her a little.
Her expression didn't change though her dark eyes continued to scan the lands as she moved. One thing was simply attempting to learn her way around, learn a quick emergency route should she require one. Of course she realised she couldn't fully learn about the lands in this manner, though she was still curious anyway, a part of her already wondering whether there was a pleasant quite spot about somewhere, one where she could eat in peace.
Zoe didn't realise just how much she had missed shelter until she caught sight of the entrance to the dens as Fyodor and Keely vanished inside. It had been a while since she'd really had a decent night sleep. She had always had fewer worries than some loners, though she was of course vulnerable. She wasn't a large wolf, certainly not capable of fighting, and it often meant she didn't wish to sleep for too long. The tunnels certainly wouldn't be a problem for her though, and her rabbit soul appreciated the underground sleeping quarters, so similar to burrows. She of course liked the daylight, but hiding like this, it would be perfect.
She was larger than Fyodor, and therefore Keely of course, though she was still what you'd call a little wolf. The entrance was on the small side and she could see how it would cause a problem for some, though the rabbit myou was rather confident that she'd easily fit inside. She gave a small nod in response as the consul vanished again, and this time she followed behind him.
As she followed, Zoraia found herself scanning the area again, peering at the many tunnels. She hadn't quite expected something quite as complex as this, it was rather amazing really, though she doubted she would have the time to learn her way fully around the space. How anyone actually did she wasn't quite sure, she had a feeling that scent would be more useful to begin with. | |
