But theres I still need to see them... I need to see them to ask them why they left me, why they were away when I needed them most. Why werent they there for me? I need to give them a piece of my mind if their still around, and I won't just forget about what they did to me!" Clearly, Keiaki was a lot more bothered by the parentless situation then he had acted only moments ago. The times where I could've died, they werent there to help me back on my feet. They dissapeared from my life... Did they do it on purpose?! Am I a mistake of birth? Should I even be alive?!
His frustration started to emanate, but with a loud sigh he just shook it off. "I'm not as strong... As you might think, Verra. People don't understand my pain, so I don't understand them. Thats why I come to this island, to remind myself that there is still hope. If you just let all your hopes and dreams float away, then theres no reason to do anything. If your only good for sitting around and mourning whats happened, then you'll only be weak and no one will respect you. Do you get... What I'm saying?" |
OOC: Somehow, you need them to be friends by the end. An offer or something. Idk

She felt a little guilty for not being more sensitive. She had had parents, and had been loved. Try as she might, she couldn't fully imagine what it would have been like to not have at least that much to remember. It would not have been fun. Still, she couldn't accept that dwelling on missing memories was the right choice.
"Well, that's understandable. Whatever happened wasn't fair for you, but it might not have been by choice that they left. If it was, then they're horrible parents, and you'd deserve better, and you should let me know when you find them so that I can help with the giving-them-a-piece-of-your-mind part. Point is, you can't change the past. You might have been alone for a while, but I've been alone for a while, too. We Cael can stick together, right?" She gave him a small smile. Friendship, perhaps? It had been too long since she had been able to speak to anyone as a friend. She was a wolf, fish tail or no, and wolves had packs for a reason. Someone to talk to, to rely on; that would be a good thing.
"I'm going to go see if I can find something to eat. If you want to talk, or whatever, I'll be around." With that, Verra spun around, leaving him to think it over on his symbol of hope. She had thinking of her own to do.
