She was still a little disorientated though and Isoldephine had successfully gathered distance before Lyta headed towards her. Again with the damn jumping, did this wolf seem to think she was made of springs?
Having only stepped back, rather than leapt and now rather settled in her position, Lyta's lack of weight in comparison to her own did very little to Isoldephine's balance and she remained pretty much in place and the little red wolf was bouncing back again. The attack had been rather ineffective and Isoldephine was simply feeling a little more annoyed.
The wolf began to lunge forwards, as expecting leaping towards her once again, each attack was getting rather predictable in its start though Isoldephine was having more trouble with herself as once again she felt the feeling of snow turning to ice around her. What was going on? There was no time to think about that though, the lyxxus was landing and although the sudden ice may have knocked her off balance, the lupus wasn't taking any chances. Moving to meet her carefully and swiftly so not to slide on that strange appearing ice, again her jaws snapped together as she attempted to bite the little wolf. At the same time, Lyta's teeth made their attack as well, the shift of position had saved the lupus from too much damage, though teeth still grazed against the skin on her leg, forming mild cuts.

Finally! They always did. It didn't matter how long it took, most wolves eventually got annoyed by the bright red Lyxxus leaping around the place like a mad thing and went for her. Twisting, she moved easily and fluidly into the set of moves she was more used to- not the leaps and jumps which she'd been forced to learn to use against wolves with different fighting styles to what she was used to- but the twisting counters of her youth, which she loved. She loved them because they worked for her; small and light as she was, they were incredibly helpful because they used the opponent's weight against them. She span as the wolf advanced, into the attack, locking her leg into the other wolf's and slamming her weight into her side, pushing forwards. Now it didn't matter one bit that Lyta was smaller and weaker; the move used the other wolf's own momentum and swiftness against them, and with Lyta's leg locked all the way around, the wolf would have to fall, though there were plenty of ways she could counter or take Lyta down with her. It acted as a tripping motion, except nobody stepped off this one. It just wasn't possible to step off, no matter how much bigger you were.

(OOC: Modified. I think I get where you're going with that, I worded that a little badly. I meant that she would fall over, but there is other stuff you can do within the realm of falling over like taking Lyta down with her and stuff. Because I know the move in real life, I know that realistically, once you get your leg all the way around, the other one will fall over and there's nothing they can do ABOUT THAT, but there is still stuff they can do, so I think I worded that a little badly. Sorry 'bout that one. I am far too in love with my co soto gaki...)

Lyta, you are not allowed to powerplay. Saying that a character has no possible way of getting out of an attack is against the rules. Everything your character does must be an attempt so the other character can react. For instance, if this character trips the other, Iso has the option of taking Lyta down with her. Wolves have jaws.
Please do not let it happen again. And Modify your post so it is no longer powerplaying.

ooc: I just want to point something else out as well, Isoldephine has just moved forwards to meet Lyta's previous attack therefore they are both in mid attack. I'm going to go back and tweak that other post.
Just a comment about the post as well actually; if Isoldephine was moving forwards with as much effort as you thought, then slamming against her side isn't moving with her momentum and therefore won't definitely knock her off balance anyway.
