Dagyr sighed as he saw the view. It sent sparks running up his nerves just to see how far below the bottom of the canyon was and the raging river at the bottom. It certainly wasn't a place he wanted to be caught... He sniffed at the ground, good he was still on the border of such a beautiful land. He padded along the edge of the canyon, fascinated with the view. He may be a large wolf built for the woods and battle, but having nothing but open sky to restrict his ebony horns was a marvelous feeling. It had been a while since he had had to untangle his large bone antlers from a low hanging branch, but he would never forget the feeling. He sniffed the ground again and sat slowly. He could go no further without having to call to the alpha to permit him to enter.
Dagyr didn't want to call attention to himself just yet, the view was too bretty... but it had to be done. Taking one last look at the land below, he threw up his head. He sang out his hopes of living here, of meeting the alpha and asking their acceptance. He howled the beauty of the land in a way that language can not explain, only notes can. Slowly he finished his song, each note echoing off the walls of the canyon. He kept his ears pricked, waiting.

Isealdyr had been gone months now, and Rhiannon knew it was too late for her daughter. There was no way the small myou pup would return now. Still too young to fend for herself, and carried down the river... she knew all hope was lost and yet the mother inside of her, that strange, maternal part of her, still retained that glimmer of promise, that her daughter might actually be returned to her. The thought made her heart swell, and it felt as if it may at once burst from her chest. Since she had returned she had not even seen hide nor hair of Forte and that also bothered her. Had he left, distraught about their daughter being carried away? Perhaps her inattentiveness had made his love for her fade and so he left, unable to look at the wolf who let his daughter drown. She snarled at the thoughts, rising impulsively from her den and leaping out onto the staircase.
The air was humid near the falls and she closed her eyes, inhaling the sweet smell of water. As she drew farther away from it the air got more arid. The canyon was definitely a place of extremes, but it was her home. She was halfway down to the river when a call reached her ears. Instantly both shot up and she swivelled on her heel, changing directions and leaping up the staircase. The sun was bright in the sky, and it made seeing hard. Still, Rhiannon knew the path like the back of her paw, and finally clearing the top, she came into view of the stranger. Had the sun not been so bright, the illusion may not have taken place. Rhiannon stood there for a moment, staring with gaped mouth at the wolf before her. The sun hit him in such a way that Rhiannon at once thought he was Forte.
His name left her lips without her permission, ending in a slight question. Once she blinked she was able to see that the wolf, indeed was not her mate. She shook her head slightly, trying to wipe the confused look from her visage before turning to him. Composing herself took a few moments though, and finally she managed to raise her head in a dignified manner, looking up at him. The yagi was much taller and bigger than she, and in some, strange way, it made her feel secure and safe. Perhaps it was that Forte was not here, and despite their obvious differences, just the fact that he was big, and strong, and had horns reminded her of him. She cleared her throat before she spoke.
"Hello stranger," she spoke slowly, every time getting more and more used to not being abrasive and stand offish. "Welcome to the lands of the Styrrstdar Pack. I assume, by your presence here you seek acceptance? You are lucky, for as of right now we are not requiring joining fights. My name is Rhiannon and I am the alphess of these lands," she concluded with a slight nod.

Dagyr stood as he heard someone coming toward him. Finally a small framed myou stepped up before him. Something about this myou caught his attention. Maybe it was her striking fur, maybe it was the way she stood there for a bit watching him. She seemed to say something... a name, and then the moment of magic was gone as quick as it had come. It seemed to take them both a few seconds to compose themselves. Rolling his shoulders back to bring his mind back to earth, he watched her as she made the last few adjustments to her composure. The way she looked at him, he was sure he reminded her of someone special. It was that feeling that ran in the air when she first looked at him. He had to forget it now, he had no place receiving those feelings from this female, much as it felt good to be looked at that way.
Dagyr bowed low as the female introduced herself. Hello Rhiannon. I am Dagyr, and you are quite correct, I do seek acceptance. If you do not mind my size and looks I would like to support one such as yourself in all they do, You have my up most respect Alphess. His voice was deep and rough but it was filled with a warmth of one who was telling the truth. Usually Dagyr didn't respect females as much as males and all other species a little less the Yagis, but this female, small as she might look, struck something in him. He found himself respecting her more than he had respected most Yagi females themselves. But he still felt she needed to be protected, maybe not coddled like he would another female of this size, but protected.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,475,true] | [atrb=background,http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/FallArrow/RHIANNONbg4.png]It seemed as if not only she had been mesmerized but also the male. Perhaps stunned by her wide eyed look, her breathy word and altogether discomposure, he seemed to float off as well. Of course this was barely evident to Rhiannon, who had just barely regained her sense of composure as well. It was hard to pull herself back though and she realised her heart was pounding loudly in her ears.
She tried to focus on the immediate, letting all other thoughts escape her mind. It was hard, with the constant wriggling of them in the back of her brain, but focusing on the male before her, attention locking on his movements, helped. He bowed low, and Rhiannon couldn't help but smile. The show of submission boosted her already far too high ego, making her chest puff with pride. 'Even stranger bow before the might Rhia.' The voice sounding in her head was almost foreign. It had been months since Caedmon, her second soul, had spoken a word to her. Silently residing in the back of her conscious, he was silent as a rock, speaking almost nothing since her daughters disappearance. The voice caused her again to stop, stare blankly and lose herself. A few moments of this, and she wa interrupted by words.
They brought her back to reality and she twitched, focusing back on the male. She realised how insane she must seem already, and she inhaled sharply, controlling her emotions and watching him. The male introduced himself as Dagyr, went on about wanting to join the pack. His last thought made her smile again and she nodded her head. It would be good to have a big strong male around; since Forte was gone there were mostly just females, and though Rhiannon did not think that female were vulnerable they did have certain limitations.
"Welcome Dagyr," she forced the quiver in her voice to recede as she spoke. "It is my pleasure to welcome you into our pack. I would be honoured to have a wolf as honorable such as yourself," her formal tone even shocked her. It was strange, how formally she spoke to newcomers and yet how her eloquence seemed to disappear altogether at once in different company. "If you'd like me to show you around, I'd be more than happy. The canyon can be very steep and there is a set path down them. I urge you not to make your own, as the rocks are very unstable and many a wolf has made their own end on them," she began, pausing to think. "There are spacious dens on the cliff face, as well as abundant fish. The top of the canyon, where we are now, is the best for hunting bigger game."

Dagyr had gotten full rein of his emotions finally when he noticed his new alphess's mind begin to wander. She was definitely a myou, a very pretty and fluffy one at that, so he wouldn't be surprised if her second soul had just made an appearance in her head. He would forgive her these slight losses of reality, not everyone could be as focused and strong as a Yagi. She came back to reality and seemed to approve of his small speech. Good, that would secure some trust in him, there always needed to be trust and approval between alpha and subordinate.
He couldn't help but smile at her formal tone. Guess a bit of himself had rubbed off on her in the short moments they were in each other's presence, that or she had formal spells to go along with her distracted moments. He looked down over the canyon as she told him of his new homeland, returning his eyes to her as she finished. He felt struck by a sudden urge to bury his nose in the ruff of her fur. It looked so soft... He held that thought and threw it away from his focus. He had only just met this femme, and she was a tiny myou at that! Damn her fur and mysterious charm, she was an alphess! New comers were never to take the liberty of touching such a high figurehead. He smiled and nodded, pushing his anger at himself aside as well and focusing on staying in his figurative place. I would love to have someone learned in the land give me a tour. I am so used to forests, and with my bulk i may take a bit longer moving over that trail you told me about the first few times, but I shall do my best. In time I will know it like the whiskers upon my snout. He stepped foreword slightly looking to Rhiannon to lead the way. If you don't mind, I would like to get to know my alphess... tell me about yourself? He wanted to figure out what made her seem so mysteriously alluring to him. There was some curiosity that drew his attention, and if he knew more about her maybe he could decipher it. He would of course in turn tell a bit about himself if she wished to know. It was only fair.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,475,true] | [atrb=background,http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/FallArrow/RHIANNONbg4.png]Rhiannon was definitely not making a great first impression. Between her mind wandering, Caedmon reappearing and thinking the male was her mate, Forte, she had pretty much blundered any opportunity she had to make herself seem strong and fierce like she usually did. And yet, as much as it did, in a way, bug her, it didn't bother her to such a degree as it normally would have. Maybe it was the way the male reminded her of Forte, or that she finally felt as if she had someone else there for her.
He spoke, and Rhiannon realised that though Dagyr reminded her of Forte, he definitely had an opposite personality. She smiled slightly, remembering how horribly she and Forte had gotten along at first, and even how they hardly ever saw eye to eye now. Now...? How long had it been since she had in fact seen the male. Since she had left for Isy... that seemed to be months ago. She realised her mind was wandering once more, and she closed her eyes, gathering herself and looking up at him.
"The canyon is as beautiful as it is dangerous. Which, to be quite frank, suits me quite well. We don't get intruders very often, and planning a raid or a war against us would be futile. The attackers would hardly get halfway down the canyon before falling to their deaths," she didn't speak anything else on her mind, about how an insurgent could give away the location and way to get down the canyon face. Or perhaps a keiyou; but even then they'd have to find a way beyond the waterfall.
"It may take a little while to get used to, but even the biggest of wolves, with a sure foot, have no problem descending the canyon," she said in reply to what he spoke. If Forte could do it, it would eventually become easy for Dagyr as well. They had a few other yagi also who had gotten used to it. She began to make her way towards the edge of the canyon, thinking they had finished speaking. Then he spoke again and Rhia turned her head, flicking up a brow slightly at his question. Tell him about herself? What was there to tell. She continued forward, lips pursed at the question.
"Uhh... well, I suppose, I've been the alpha here for uhm... almost two years now I guess?" Well at least it was a start. She wasn't sure what he wanted to know. "I used to be in a few packs before Styrr. I left my home when I was about two," she thought, thinking back to her past. It seemed so long ago that all this had happened. "I..." she paused for a moment. She hadn't even told Forte about her home pack. Why were her guards down now? She switched the topic, focusing on something else. "Forte, my..." Damnit. Why was all this so weird? Was Forte her mate? Ugh. "our other alpha and I have a litter of pups. Only two still live with us." She left it at that, not wanting to go into the painful discussion of how Isealdyr was swept away by the river.
Thankfully the beginning of the staircase gave her an excuse to stop talking about herself. "Oh. Here's the staircase. Follow me down, and try not to step on any rocks I don't. The ones here are stable, but not all the ones around them are."

Dagyr watched her intently but slyly, hoping she wouldn't think he was staring. He nodded as she spoke of the canyon and it's benefits, thinking himself that it would be a bad place to be cornered if another pack found a way down. There weren't many escape routes, but it was still a good dependable position. His eyes scanned the cliff and felt the same sparks along his spine as he did before. One mis-step and you could cause an avalanche or tumble to your death. He shook off the feeling and returned his gaze to Rhia as she spoke again. he nodded at he comment about how even the largest wolves could learn a way down. I'm sure I'll figure it out. If I learned to walk through weeping willows without tangling my horns in it's vine like branches I'm sure I can learn how to be nimble to avoid my death. I try not to take unnecessary chances with my life. He flashed her a grin and chuckled.
He was brought back to earth by her tone as she spoke of herself, following her closely so he could know the train faster, but also just to listen. Her voice sounded confused, sad even. Forte. The other alpha... Why hadn't she said 'mate?' Most alpha's were mates and did they not have pups? Her voice reached a new level of sorrow as she spoke about her pups. He reminded himself not to push her on this subject, but questions pushed at his mind. What had happened to the others? What had happened to Forte? He set his jaw, refusing to speak the words as he watched her. He stopped behind her as she did and nodded at her words. Of course Alphess. He said, waiting a few seconds as she stepped down the staircase, doing his best to follow in her footsteps. Even with trusting he he knew her body was much smaller than his, and so he tested each stone with his paw before following. He was timid at first but as they made their way down he was beginning to see similarities of the rocks that were stable. He concentrated on his steps, following his alphess's every step.

Dagyr listened intently to her, and why should he not? If he was to make the canyon his home he needed to know about it. She looked back to him as he spoke, and she smiled a little bit. Willow trees... how long had it been since she had seen those? With their long sweeping branches and the way they swayed in the wind, they reminded Rhia of home, and of times before now. She didn't say anything though in regards to that. "It's surprisingly easy when you get the hang of it. If something does happen just yell. Oh..."
She had trailed off, realising she should probably tell him about Ardent. Most of the pack had either not met her or seen her in passing. Either way a huge black dragon was a sight, and so she figured it would be better to tell him now. "There's a dragon that lives in the canyon. Actually let me rephrase that. There is a dragon in our pack," she couldn't help but show a toothy grin when she finished. "She's quite friendly. Wants to learn from us. Don't be afraid of her, she's here to learn and help." She leaped down from the canyon tp onto the first stair, looking up at him to make sure he was following. He spoke and she nodded. From there she bounded down again, making sure he had safely gotten to the next step before proceeding. Her jaw was slack just in case she needed to grab him to stop him from falling. Even then, it would be tricky. The yagi was so much bigger than she was.
She decided to speak no more, letting him concentrate on the steps before him. They'd stop at the dens, which were still a ways down, and then from there get him settled.

Dagyr nodded agreement to Rhia's comment about the rock wall, Everything can be mastered I guess. He could tell she was remembering something, and he desperately wished he could read her mind. There were so many things she seemed to be skirting in their conversation, and yet he knew she avoided them for a reason. He continued to follow her carefully, but stopped at the mention of a dragon. I'll trust you... but such a thing... I have never heard of a dragon becoming one with a pack. He shook his head, hurrying to catch up with Rhia while still remembering the stones she had used.
Each second he had stood there, while not long, had ment a second of not watching her steps. He knew such a thing was dangerous. He stepped quickly and testingly upon each place. Finally he caught up with her. Stepping on a stone that had not moved under the myou's weight, Dagyr felt something shift. Rhiannon... But that was all he could get out before the stone gave way. With a yelp he slipped, rocks cascading below him and swiftly towards his alphess. His claws scrabbled agianst the earth as he tried to reverse his direction. He realised quickly however how futile it was and closed his eyeslowering his body and tensing his legs under him. In a way it reminded him of pine-kneedle sliding back when he was a pup... just more life threatening... A future alpha had to keep his composure at all times right? Even though he was no future alpha now, Dagyr placed his trust in his alpha. Please let her slow me down enough that i can stop... but don't let her get hurt...[/b] He felt guilty and sick at the thought he would be the one to hurt the female who he wanted to keep safe most of all... but he had to be ready when he felt her fangs in his coat. As he neared a soft whisper escaped his maw, I'm sorry...

It took her countless tries to find a safe way down the canyon wall, but eventually she had found the stairs. She probably still had the scrapes from her countless trials. Luckily she was small and not too heavy, so no real damage had been done while she explored the canyon. She was hardly surprised when he stopped as she mentioned the dragon. She couldn't help but chuckle, looking back at him with a grin. "It's bizarre, I must admit. But hey, what other pack can say they have a dragon on their side? If the northern packs challenge us I can undubitably say we will have quite a huge advantage," it was one of the reasons she was so keen on letting Ardent join. She knew there would be at least some sort of warfare going on between the packs. It had been quiet for so long, it was only to be expected.
She was bounding down the steps, trying to go slowly to allow him to see where she was stepping. It had all become routine for her, so t felt odd to stop all the time and look over her shoulder. But suddenly as she hopped down she heard her name on his lips and then a crash. Her head snapped up, then down, following the crashing yagi down the side of the canyon. She cursed loudly, bounding out of the way onto an outcrop, her paws barely reaching it before she extended her neck, grasping onto his scruff firmly with her jaws. His sheer weight pulled her from her perch despite her claws feebly gripping on the rock ledge. She tumbled down after him, snarling a bit, her eyes wild and frantic. There were a few ledges below them, but whether or not they'd hold both their weight would be up to chance. She twisted her body, digging her claws into the rock, trying to slow their bodies down.
Her eyes flipped from the immediate before them, to below them, finally seeing a rather large outcropping. Her body was bouncing around on the jagged rock face, and she knew she'd be sore in the morning. Luckily for her, most of her body was shielded by the yagi's own. "LEFT. VEER LEFT," she managed to squeal out, her mouth still around his scruff, holding tightly onto him.

(excuse me as I powerplay just slightly, not like she could put much of a fight as she rolls down a hill more less against a yagi's strength. I'd make him actually injured, but I don't know how far from the meeting this is, he wouldn't have time to heal broken bones or horns etc, cuts and sprain heal quick enough there can be a short time between this and the meeting))
Dagyr felt his alpha's teeth sink into his scruff and her feeble weight pulled behind him. Managing to shift himself ever so slightly he found he could shield her from most of the rock face's blows. Sharp stones and gravel cut into his flesh as his own eyes searched before them. They were headed for a sheer drop, but at his alpha's words he looked left and swiftly swiveled his hips to change direction ever so slightly. A snarl was torn from his throat as rocks and gravel cut its way into his flesh. He realized she was headed for an outcrop of rock, and an idea sprang to mind. It was risky, but would give them a better chance at survival. Turning his head he bit into Rhiannon ever so carefully and with all his might, brought his forepaws under his body and pushed at the rock face. He felt her teeth tear against his skin as he pulled her from his scruff so he could manipulate her easier. Adrenaline rushing through his veins he knew he could carry her, his strength almost doubled in the life or death race against time and gravity. He shifted his body weight and sent them sliding diagonally down the slope. Suddenly they hit a small ramp-like rock lifting them from the ground.
The two crashed back to the ground, Dagyr having flipped himself to get further under his precious alphess. They were still sliding, but at a slower pace and a better angle. Taking hold again he mumbles an apology as his slightly over-sized fangs bit into her scruff this time. Lifting her ever so slightly, Dagyr leaped from the cascade of rocks, rolling onto the outcrop. The landing jarred him, reflexively opening his jaws in pain, he kicked out, pushing Rhiannon away and towards the wall of the cliff, away from the edge as he continued to roll towards it. He came to rest, just at the lip of the outcropping, his breath heaving from his lungs as his body shook softly. It had taken most of his strength to leap away from the rocks that were even now cascading over the cliff and into the canyon. He closed his eyes, taking inventory of himself. His horns were OK, bruised as heck, but being bone were luckily not broken. A chip here a scratch there, but so far OK. His legs were shaky and he probably wouldn't be able to stand for a few more minutes while his muscles relaxed and his heart slowed to normal. The rest of his bones were all in one piece, but his flesh certainly wasn't. Blood stuck to his thick green and black fur, and his jaw ached from lifting the smaller wolf. He lifted his head, and looked for Rhiannon. Are you OK? He shifted his shaking legs under him, but found he still had no strength to stand, collapsing back to the rock as he tried. Pain also shot up one of his legs when he had tried. He knew it wasn't broken, probably sprained, but he would be able to walk on it soon. A pulled muscle wasn't going to keep him back long.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,475,true] | [atrb=background,http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad144/FallArrow/RHIANNONbg4.png]Dagyr, she knew, was not as lucky as her. She was shielded by his body from the cutting edges of the rocks. He'd be in poor sorts later. That would need to be dealt with after they found safety on the rocks. He reacted to her scream, moving his hips, but it didn't seem to be enough to get them both on it. That's when something changed and Dagyr seemed to get an idea in his mind. She felt teeth against her body, and in any other situation would have snarled in reply. Instead she let go of his neck, instantly slacking in his jaws, as if she were a pup. It was good that Rhia was so small, and so carrying her would be an easy task for the yagi. They moved diagonally down the rock face, hitting the rock and stopping, crashing against each other.
Rhiannon hit the ground mostly on top of Dagyr. The blow was softened by his body, and even still the wind knocked itself from her lungs. She heaved, gasping for breath and lying on him for a second. Her heart was thudding loudly in her chest, her mind racing. They were still moving. She tried to wriggle free, she felt his jaws enclose around her scruff. His fangs were longer than a myous and she yelped a little bit, but the pain was nothing compared to the danger they were facing. She let her body go slack again, feeling the male leap from the rocks, finally reaching the outcrop. They langed with a thud, and she was dropped, then kicked towards the wall of the cliff. She wriggled, seeing him continue to move towards the edge. Rhiannon's eyes flashed and she bolted up, almost ready to grab him again when he stopped. When she realised they both were safe she let her body collapse at his side, head on her paws as she heaved. The times she had fallen were far less scary than that. Being only one small wolf made it easy for her to maneouevre and she had never quite gone flying like that before.
She seemed okay; a few cuts and bruises mainly. She'd see if maybe Gypsy had a remedy for them. Dagyr was in worse off shape, and he seemed to be checking out what all was damaged. He looked fine to her, but she was no judge of internal damage. If anything, Gypsy would know the most. She surveyed his bloodied body and winced a bit; she had seen worse, but usually they were from fights. His thoughts were instantly about her though as he spoke. Rhiannon blinked for a moment; and then nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just some cuts and scrapes. What about you? It doesn't look like anything is broken. But are you okay inside?" she asked, watching him try to stand and growling a bit. "Rest for a bit, don't push yourself," she said, watching him collapse. She hardly felt like she had the energy to do anything, and she hadn't been the one carrying another wolf across the rock face.

Dagyr sighed in relief as his eyes fell on Rhiannon. She was a bit bruised and scraped, as she said but she looked OK. Lets NEVER do that again OK? He said, trying to make a joke, but he realized his voice was weaker than he would have liked. Damn it! He was a Yagi, He was better than this! What was a bit of scraped and tiredness to a true-blooded Yagi! He caught the growl in his throat, not wanting his alpha to mistake it for anger with her. I'm ok... My left foreleg is sprained I think, I took that jump at a bad angle and the landing wasn't quite as nice as I would have liked... He swiveled his head so he could see his side and back. I'm going to need to pull a few rocks from under my skin or get someone else to do it before I get infected... but for now I'm ok... Don't look so worried about the blood Alphess, they are small cuts, bleed like heck and sting like the devil but they will close in time. They are much better that injuries I would have sustained if I hadn't pulled it off... He didn't want to say that most of the injuries he would have gotten would have been mental, self inflicted, not just those of an angry pack. He would never trust himself to a pack again if he had gotten his new alphess killed on the first day.
He chuckled as she told him to rest and rested his head against his paws. Believe me I'm not going anywhere soon, nor very fast with this paw.... By the way, how are we getting down from here? I can only see so much of the ledge and I wasn't quite paying attention when I diverted my path. Is there stairs from here as well? Pain was robbing him of his formalities, but he figured she would give him a one time pass, he had just put her at risk of death and then saved her from the brink of it in less than a minute. he could feel his heart returning to normal as he watched her and rested. He began licking his pads, working at a stone lodged between them, his fangs pulling at the fur. His saliva stung the tiny cuts on his paws, but it cleaned them, which was all he needed for now.

It was half crazed, like a laugh someone who had just been in a life or death situation, like they had, would make. A laugh of relief. She coaxed the air to find her lungs and looked at him with half a smile. "Awh, but it was so much fun," she couldn't help but joke a bit. They had been lucky; neither was hurt too badly, and she was thankful for that. He spoke though, saying his foreleg was sprained. She winced a bit, and followed the lines on his body as she examined the cuts. There were quite a few rocks in them, and they'd need to get them out. "Yeah, we'd both be dead," she said, the realization of the situation hitting her hard. She curled her lip, shaking her head slightly and then rose on wobbly legs, leaning a little bit against him as she nosed at his body. She could at least get a few of the rocks out here.
"Good. While we wait here I'll try to get you cleaned up a bit. I'm just a bit shaken up. Gypsy can heal you up when we return. This probably won't feel so awesome though," she said, frowning at some of the deeper stuck rocks. She'd have to use her teeth for that. His second statement made her look around, hazel eyes searching. The waterfall was still to their left, and the stairs now to their right. Her eyes followed the rocks towards where she knew they were stable. "I think we can get to the stairs from here. I'll test them first. Worse comes to worse we can get Ardent to come get us," she said, mentioning the dragon. After that was done, she noticed him working on his paw pads. She let him do that, climbing awkwardly so she had most of her upper body on his, licking at the fur on his back and slicking it down. From there she could see the cuts easier. "I'll get the big ones first," she said, fixing her teeth around a rather large stone embedded in his skin.

OOC ;; xD Sorry for the powerplay. I figured since he was like, wiped out and Rhia was so tiny she could just clamber up.

Dagyr couldn't help but smile at her laughter. It was strained and airy, but there was a note of what could be there. It rang against his ears like bell and he chuckled at her puppy like statement. He felt her gaze on him, searching his injuries. He began licking up his legs as she verbalized the fact that had driven Dagyr to using so much energy. He nodded and sighed. I'd never forgive myself if you had died. I just announced my allegiance to you and put you in a life or death situation. I refused to let us die...to let you die... he thought as he averted his gaze from her. He suddenly felt pressure against him, looking up to see her nosing his fur. He looked back down and away from her.
Is Gypsy your healer? He inquired. he wanted to know everything about this pack, and if he knew who had what rank... Well it might help him blend it easier. He winced as he felt her tongue smoothing his fur, not just from the movement of the skin, but from the thought of Her licking at his wounds... He closed his eyes and rested his head on his paws as she climbed up on him. I think I can walk... Being carried in the claws of a dragon is an honor I'd like to save for my death if you don't mind he chuckled softly, biting back a snarl as she continued to pull the rocks from his fur. A gasp escaped his moth as she bit into his skin to remove one of the rocks before he snapped his mouth closed and dug his claws into the rock, closing his eyes against the pain. it had been too long since he had been injured like this, he was getting weak. He reprimanded himself for showing such pain, letting her do the rest of her work.
