She felt his body droop slightly under her paws as if he thought of something and she moved her slender muzzle close to his face curiously. Was he worrying about himself not being a fighter again? If so, he was being silly... Was he? She suddenly remembered Sparta, that terrifying yagi at the beach a some while ago. At the memory of that sinister wolf every part of Tor stiffened and her eyes stared at Crow emptily. She was seeing him again, Sparta, him with his strong physique, his sickly green coat and sharp dark spiralled horns. She shivered slightly before blinking, her silver eyes were seeing the yagi in front of her again. She smiled unsteadily and she hoped that he wouldn't question what was going on in her mind. Her tail began to wag when Crow gave in the fight, allowing her to win. He had let her win, obviously. At this random kindness, she laughed and batted her paws at his chest harmlessly. He wasn't a fighter, true but he was a lovely wolf. Surely that counts for something? She didn't like the thought of him becoming a wolf like Sparta; violent and angry. In her mind, there were two types of wolves, one type was pacifist and soft-hearted and another was aggressive and blood-thirsty. Crow is the first type and Sparta is another. She didn't want Crow to join the Sparta type. Her paw found the yagi's cheek and she attempted to press it down softly, trying to tilt Crow's head so that his muzzle was touching the ground. It was as if she was trying to avert his eyes from his fighting ambition. |
