[scrolly:h(575), w(340),sy] The afternoon was sunny enough, with small clouds flitting over the sun playfully. The sea breeze careened around, spraying salt and disturbing the white sand of the beach. Gulls flew overhead, looking for a tasty treat, and abruptly flew away when a fireball spewed into the air not far away. Below on the sand was a tall and muscled vibrant red she-wolf, and every few seconds a small fireball would come out of her mouth, like a dragon, to hit her mark, a large rock jutting out several feet away.
Zippora's flame colored eyes eyed her target and shot one last time, enjoying her alone time. Practice was essential to the independent she-wolf, and she had taken a break from her new pack lands to wander elsewhere. Plus, it helped her take out her anger that seemed to always bubble at the surface at unexpected times. There was a large scorch mark on the rock in the form of a large black circle where her fireballs continuously landed with deadly precision, and she grinned to herself, satisfied.
She walked over to the rock and jumped with agility on top, settling herself down to watch the waves roll off the rocks and enjoying the breeze that ruffled her fur and the scream of the birds as they flew overhead. [/scrolly]

Jackle walked slowly forward on the sandy beach. His head hung low and his eyes stared at the paw prints that were left in the sand at each step. Half of his mind was sizzling from his madness talking to him non stop and the other half madly in love with Phoenix. Her sweet smell of burning pine and ambition. Her eyes filled with passion. It was no wonder that she had a mate before himself. She also had beautiful children, even her adopted little one.
But it has been a few months since he had seen his dearly beloved. Months without being able to breath in her wonderful sent. So long without being by her side. It could drive a sane wolf mad. Luckily, he already was.
Would you quit thinking about that she wolf? Your giving yourself a headache. Growled his mad self. "No, I am in love. We're in love. And I miss her." Whined Jackle aloud. Jackle looked and sounded like a pitiful lost pup. And in a sense, he was.
Jackle glanced up to look around and saw a ball of fire zoom by. He jumped back half an inch and searched for a source. Then he saw a she wolf. "PHOE...nix?" He bursted then his words quieted as the she-wolf before him did not own Phoenix's sent nor her very beautiful features. However, she was attractive, but not his love. "I am sorry miss." He bowed his head. "I thought you were someone else mi'lady."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,422,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb390/Bluewillowtree/Apollomid.jpg] The blue sky seemed to darken, as playful clouds danced across the sun's rays. The world around him, was peaceful; all was quiet except for the crashing of waves, sending sprays of sparking crystals. A sigh seemed to fill the space around him, it was truly relaxing, but the only problem was.. he was bored. Golden optics raised towards the sky, watching the cloud which was blocked by the sun, swerve, move, surf atop of the wind. His lips curled back into a smirk he knew that someday, when he perfected his flight, he would be able to do the same. As the sun began to stretch its limbs around the cloud, and peak through, the male shut his eyes and let the suns warmth glide across his body. His golden pigmented mix of features and furs glinting as if he really was a second sun.
A sound sliced through the peaceful air, not loud, just.. different. Apollo slowly cracked open his eyes, and the six month wolf peered from his perch, which happened to be a large boulder. Balls of flame struck out into the air, making birds wail and fly clumsily for safety. Arching a brow, he hunched his shoulders over, to adjust his weight to lean over the brink. He found the source of the balls of flame, a vibrant young female, who after a short time of doing her routine, settled upon a boulder and looked towards the sky.
Slowly he unfurled his wings, stretched them above his form, and rose himself to his full height. Striking downwards with one mighty stroke he lurched from his perch, and glided down towards the female. Stopping many yards away, his expression blank, and unreadable. His wings were now folded at his sides, as he shifted through the sand. He could feel the millions of pebbles press, and stick to his paws, he scoffed and flicked a fore outwards, sending the sand to fly and catch in the wind.

Eep! So sorry everyone, but the character Zippora is currently up for adoption, so I can't play her anymore. Once she is adopted then the member playing her can continue the thread or Apollo and Jackle can keep going whithout her, i.e. pretending she was never there.
