OOC Information OOC Name: soar Link to Previous Character: Ajax Purchase Infomation: For banned species and healing
General Name: Ácélan Hákonsson Alias: Ácélan, or he'll bite your head off Species: Ice Lupus Gender: Male Age: Four years old Pack: Centena Accord Rank: King
Physical Height: 45 inches tall Weight: 170 lbs Appearance: BUILD. Ácélan is a tall, strong looking wolf with his long legs and obvious muscles around his body. The muscles are considerably thicker around his limbs, giving him an upper hand in fights but they slow him down when it comes to speed and agility. The thickness of those muscles contributes to the overall weight and they give him an impressive appearance. His face is aligned in a such way to give him a strong but gentle masculine look. It is easy to see why he is in love with his face along with most of the females. His muzzle is quite short but is perfectly sized for the shape of his face and his ears are quite big and are almost perfect triangles. His eyes are wide, often expressing his strong passion, either anger or lust. His paws are wide from his northern parents and his claws are black and blunt from travelling a lot.
COAT/COLOURS. Ácélan's coat is just as magnificent as his build; it is solid deep black in colour and is shaggy from his northern heritage. But under some light, it shines greenish-blue in some areas and blue in some others. The hairs covering his body are thick, giving him some warmth in the coldest of the winters but it isn't quite helpful in the summer. His eyes are very icy blue, almost white, and they are inherited from his mother and his grey nose is from his father. The lightness of the nose creates some uneven contrast with his very black fur so, because of that, Ácélan hates his nose.
OTHER. Being an ice lupus, Ácélan has a few ice crystals clumping his fur together all over his coat. Also the air around him is often icy cold; the chill air seems to emanate from his own body and, as a result, there's always a visible breath in front of his nose and mouth. He moves as if he has a hidden agenda but there's also a hint of power and violence in his gait. His voice has a gentle but strong masculine richness to it, but only when he's not pissed off. But when he is, it will be rough with a sharp, icy edge. Mental Strengths: + Strength + Honest + Open + Appears unafraid + Extremely loyal + Stubborn + Socialises easily + Easygoing (only until he's pissed off again) + Chilly weather Weaknesses: - Females (flirting) - Quick to anger - Violent - Cocky - Vain - Blunt - Speed - Endurance (this includes low pain tolerance) - Heat - Tends not to think before he leaps Personality: HONEST. Ácélan is one of the very honest wolves, if not the most. He values honesty and believes that it can help others if it is used in the right way. But he can be too blunt with his truthfulness despite his belief that honesty should be delivered gently. He does this because he believes that his words will mean everything for that other wolf and that it would help them, no matter how rude it may appear.
LOYAL. This ice lupus is devoted to his own family, home and pack and almost nothing can shake this devotion. He is willing to lay his life down for anyone he feels connected to. But his strong loyalty doesn't stop him from acting up though. He thinks he can be both loyal and reckless as he doesn't see how they can affect one another.
VERY DETERMINED. Ácélan is very strong willed wolf and when he decides something it will be very, very hard to persuade him to change his mind. It would take many compliments, bribes, and fluttering eyelashes (mostly compliments though) to sway his stubbornness. It is rare to see Ácélan abandoning his intentions just because it's hard or boring or any other excuses you may think of no matter how impossible it may seems.
RELAXED. The lupus is generally relaxed only when he's not feeling wounded up. You can hear him talk about rather anything that comes to his mind. He often won't be ashamed with what he says. He generally feels happier when he is with other wolves no matter who they might be.
FLIRTY. Girls are his weakness, Ácélan could not walk past one without saying a pick-up line. He's a handsome wolf, but he wants to have this noticed and there is no better way than getting himself into others' faces, especially females. The flirting habit of his often has a bad ending when a she-wolf finds out that he has been chatting many other females and feels cheated. But thanks to his brash nature, this doesn't affect Ácélan at all.
UNAFRAID. Of course, this lupus has some fears but he chooses to ignore them and appear brave and unperturbed. It's this front what leads others into thinking he's some kind of a wolf that fears nothing. But if he happens to run into one of his fears he would search for a way to escape rather than face it but, fortunately for him, that doesn't happen very often.
SHORT-TEMPERED. Ácélan is well-known for his quick temper in his birth pack. It doesn't take much to get him all fired up but it would take a lot to calm him down. He's very unpredictable when he's in one of his tempers; no one, not even himself, knows what could happen or how it would end. It could either end well (or as well as possible) or very badly. So often he has injured many wolves during his fury in the past and no doubt more in the future.
VIOLENT. While in a calm state, the ice lupus isn't a violent animal but in a temper, however, he is capable of being very deadly with his strong muscles and sharpened ice skills. Many times his anger has ended terribly because of this violent tendency of his. So it would be best to leave him to fume than move closer to him in an attempt to calm him down.
ARROGANT. Because Ácélan thinks he's so sexy and so awesome, he is likely to come off as arrogant. This may work with females but it is likely to annoy males. But after a while his arrogance will be irritating but he won't care. But if you mention how annoying his attitude can be, you're at risk of him becoming even more cocky or pissing him off.
NARCISSIST. Vanity, arrogance, selfishness, and bragging among many other traits are perfect examples of narcissism in this wolf. What is the most obvious of them all is vanity. He's obsessed with how he looks and how he should appear. So it isn't so surprising if you see him looking at his reflection or see him overly-grooming himself.
TENDS NOT TO THINK. Ácélan isn't the kind of wolf that think before they leap. He often acts without thinking, even if the desired something is the most urgent or dangerous. He prides in knowing how to act when, in reality, he is being very stupid or arrogant.
BORED EASILY. The ice lupus gets bored easily so he is often seen walking around searching for something different or interesting to do. This often means he has a tendency to abandon something just because he thinks it's not worth his time. Ácélan also can be quite rude to someone he finds dull.
History:BEFORE BIRTH. Ácélan's mother, Lake, was an incredible shy water lupus and his father, Hákon, was an air lupus. They were so different that no one had ever dreamed that they would be mates. Lake was often seen having moonlight strolls through the forest near her home pack and resting. Hákon, on the other hand, usually went out and caused several troubles with his two other friends. One of them was a beautiful fire lupus, Isa, who seemed to flirt with Hákon non-stop and he often responded with words of his own. The flirtatious relationship seen between the two young lupuses led the pack into thinking that they would became mates. But, despite Isa having some deep feelings for Hákon, he felt nothing for her; she was just an entertainment for him.
One spring day, Lake was out as usual, resting under the warm sunlight when Hákon came across her after years of not noticing her. He felt like tormenting her because of her shyness but did not because he had no one to laugh with him (he wasn't with his friends that day). So instead he just asked her what she was doing there. Lake did not respond immediately; she cringed a little, lost for words. She had never actually talked to him before but now that he gave her some attention she now saw how attractive he was. She had originally thought him annoying as he was constantly seeking for trouble. But this brief moment of interest from him was enough for her to fall for him. Lake just stuttered a reply before fleeing the area, leaving Hákon confused.
For days after that, Lake purposely avoided Hákon because she knew she would not be able to talk properly to him. But it didn't take long until she ran into him again but this time he wasn't alone. Soon she could hear the sneers of the two friends behind him, teasing her about her stutters and shyness. Hákon didn't get involved but he didn't stop them either; he just stared at the poor lupus almost passively. The look hurt Lake much more than the nasty words spoken by Isa and the other friend. But what had truly stabbed her in the heart was that as they left, she saw him and Isa close, sides brushing as they laughed and flirted together. Lake refused to get upset over him as he still did not bother to notice her. It would be silly to cry over a male that wasn't interested in her.
For weeks she seemed to frequently run into Hakon and his gang, coming to the conclusion that they liked to taunt her much more than others. But she began to notice the closeness between him and Isa was fading and this pleased her. But with each bullying she also noticed that he hadn't joined in with the two others. In fact he started to look away from her face or chose to walk away. Lake decided to read nothing in this except that he didn't care about her. One winter night, Lake suddenly got upset over an unrelated reason and sped to her favourite forest and cuddled by all on her own in the snow. By luck, Hákon came across her pawprints in the snow and decided to follow the trail and see who they belonged to. Sure enough there was the water female curled up in the cold.
Puzzled he asked her what was the matter and she froze with a sudden surge of shyness and stood up to leave quickly again. But he knew what was coming so he stopped her and insisted what was the matter with her. Lake stammered and stuttered but, to her surprise, Hákon did not laugh or taunt her. Instead he looked concerned. Soon after a while she admitted her feelings and that took him aback. He thought she hated him (from his friends taunting her and him not stopping it to her attempts to avoid him). But after a long awkward silence, Lake accused him for allowing her to be bullied. For this Hákon had no reply. She was right. He should have put an end to it ages ago. After another moment of silence, the female lupus left the snow scene abruptly, both angry and hurt, leaving Hákon standing in the cold.
After that evening, Lake had seen or heard nothing of Hákon and his bullies. Soon there was a rumour circling the pack saying that they had left the pack to join another. Stung, she decided that he was so humiliated by her revelations and left. So for a few more months, she went on as normal, but this time she was learning to lose her stutter. She also found a male and they became mates even though she had no feelings for him. But Lake hadn't lost her habit of wandering through the forest and stayed there for a while to think. Soon, during one of her strolls, she ran into Hákon. He was at her favourite place, sitting silently, not even turning his head around to acknowledge her. Lake had considered to leave him alone, but her heart skipped at the sight of him so she stayed just to watch him. He then explained her about those adventures he had during his long absence while she sat still, listening intently as she didn't know if she would hear his voice again after this.
Then he admitted that he was sorry for leaving her but he thought that it was the best way as he did not want to hurt her further. Enraged by this, she began to stutter again. He had hurt her by leaving her. But Hákon ignored her angry stammers and admitted that he had always liked her. That silenced Lake as a string of questions buzzed in her mind. Why didn't he admit that on the day she admitted her feelings? Why did he let his friends hurt her? Why did he flirt with that Isa? And most importantly; why did he like her? He saw these questions in her blue eyes and laughed quietly before finally replying those. He did not admit because he panicked. He had let his friends tease her because he was afraid of showing any weakness. He flirted with her just for fun. And he proceeded to list out everything he liked about her, including her stammer which he found cute.
She was absolutely stunned; everything he said matched the passion in his dark eyes. There was no doubt that what he said was true. She asked him to come back but he refused, stating that she had a mate and everything was too different for him. She exclaimed that she would leave her mate, and even the pack, for him.
So she did and they found a life outside their home pack. They joined another pack which they deemed suitable for their unborn children.
CHILDHOOD. Ácélan was born on the coldest day of an icy winter along with two brothers and two sisters. It was so icy that his brother died after a while. With Lake so dangerously weakened, due to the long, painful birthing and the cold, the four remaining puppies were being transferred to another nursing mother for a while. They had spent some time with the other mother before were finally given back to the true mother. They grew up without any extra hassles, but when they hit three months old a rival pack started a war between this pack and their pack. Many wolves, including Hákon, were killed in a bloody battle and Lake almost died of grief. But being young, Ácélan and his siblings did not know how serious this matter was so they kept getting into mischief.
One day this ice lupus sneaked away from the pack and ran into another young wolf, a female lupus. She told her that she was Pála and she was the other pack's leader's daughter (with a such arrogance). He took a liking to her immediately and they played together innocently until it was dark. They left for home but not without a plan to meet up again at the very next day. Ever since that the meeting continued until they were a year old and surprised that no one had bothered to find them, especially Pála (since she was an alpha's daughter) and soon guessed that the packs were too busy with the war to find lost puppies. With each meeting Ácélan's feelings for her grew until he decided that he was in love with her.
His brother soon got suspicious with his disappearance so he decided to follow him and see whatever he got himself into. During a meeting, the brother, Bjorn interrupted them by exclaiming that it wasn't permitted and they were betraying their packs. Both Ácélan and Pála insisted that they weren't doing any harm but Bjorn ran to his pack to spill everything to their leader. The leader was very furious and banned the ice lupus from leaving the pack without permission.
ADULTHOOD. Months passed with Ácélan not seeing Pála and this gnawed him from the inside. This could not go on as he needed to see her. So one night he sneaked past the sentries and made his way to the familiar meeting hollow and found her there waiting silently. She told him how she had came here every night in a hope to see him again and he explained how he was banned. But the bittersweet meeting ended so soon when a group of wolves of Ácélan's pack invaded and grabbed Pála and dragged her away to their pack to hold her as a prisoner. No matter how much Ácélan had fought he could not reach her. Then he was grabbed as well. The leader told him that he wasn't a prisoner but was in a risk of becoming one. For Pála, he said he could use her as a hostage.
No matter how much he had tried, Ácélan could not penetrate the defences around the prison but he had a guard supporting him so he could use him to relay messages to her. Soon it became clear that she was being tortured in an attempt to receive information of the rival pack. Enraged the ice lupus marched up to the leader, screaming at him to free her and leave her alone but he blatantly refused. He said she was an useful weapon and could ensure the success of this war. Outraged at the idea that Pála was being used as a tool of the war he spat at the leader's paws before leaving him.
That very night Ácélan persuaded his friend to help him to get to her. After some while, he gave in and agreed. Immediately soon after, the dark lupus found himself in the dark den of the prison and he could smell the grisly scent of torture mingled with the familiar scent of Pála. Soon their noses met and he dug in an attempt to free her from the metal chains around her ankles wielded by a metal lupus. It did not take long as the chains were not rooted deeply in the dirt but as they turned to leave the leader was blocking the entrance. He was screaming at him for betraying the pack and him. Screaming that he sided the pack that killed his father. Outraged at this, Ácélan leapt at him and pinned him down. Instead of leaving him and fleeing through the entrance like he should, he formed a large icy shard from the moist air and plunged it deep inside his leader's belly.
The leader screamed as blood spurted from the wound but the ice lupus had his paws on his belly and saw how the wound fused together as he healed him. This would shock him later on as he did not know that he had two abilities. Then he removed the shard from his body and healed him again before plunging it down again, crying in his blind rage. He wanted him to know how hurt Pála was when she was tortured, how hurt Lake was when her mate died and how hurt he was when he was banned from seeing his friend. The icy stabbing and removal and healing went on for a while until the ground and the ceiling were wet with slick red blood. He continued doing this until his control over the shard slipped due to the ebbing energy (because of the excess healing) and stabbed the leader in the neck, finally killing him.
Now having his leader dead under his paws, Ácélan was shaken out of his blind fury and was horrified with what he saw beneath him. With Pála at his heels he fled as the pack stood still stunned. After hours of running he heard his friend exclaim behind him so he stopped and turned around. He saw fear in her amber eyes and quivering lips. She told him that he wasn't the same wolf she played with at their first meeting. She told him how his violence shocked and frightened her. Then she admitted that she did not want to travel with him anymore. At the last statement Ácélan flew into another bout of rage, yelling that he did all this just for her when he could just leave her to fester in that cell. Pála, having some senses left in her, rapidly fled the area leaving the screaming lupus alone in the dawning day.
From that day on, he decided to forget about her since she had brought only pain to his heart. This is when he decided to care about nothing but himself.

Righto, glad to see another extensive and well thought out bio, thank you Soar! Now onto business then shall we? Mostly the errors are verb tenses, so nothing grave to worry about as far as I can see.
Just don't need the extra words, it flows better and the reader is already aware your are discussing his ears.
