It was mid-day maybe getting closer to afternoon. The sun was up in the sky, burning brightly, almost unbearable to look at. It contradicted the brisk air around Thalia that lightly played along her body as she trotted on. She had awoken not too long ago, only to continue her journey in search for another pack. She had never been this far out in this direction before and she had no idea where the pack territory started. If there even was a pack up here that is. She had heard of one, which brought her here, but of course she didn't know for certain. She slowed down to take in the sight: beautiful trees taller than the clouds, there branches spanning out, overlapping the next trees’ so where one tree started and the other ended was uncertain. With her eyes wandering around, Thalia walked further into the forest. It was autumn, but these trees didn't change colour, they stayed green all year round. Thalia thought these trees added colour when where there was none in the winter, but in the fall, her favourite trees were the silver birches. She came upon a group of three, and admired their majestic beauty. Bark the colour of the moonlight in a starry night, leaves turned the rich, warm colours of autumn. Besides spring it was her favourite season.
She sighed of happiness, and continued on slowly, wandering aimlessly through the overwhelming forest, taking in every site possible. Maybe, if there is no pack I’ll live here on my own. Make a den and live in the forest...

His sole job, when not around Ahote was to protect the borders. There were few ways into the pack lands, thankfully, so it didn't involve much ground to cover. He had spent the morning renewing the boundary markings and looking for intruders. Of course, it didn't take long until the scent of one scent his mind reeling in many ways. A loner... or... what really. She smelled of pack, but it was faint. He moved closer amongst the underbrush towards her, concealing his own body against the dense bushes in the taiga. The fall was thinning them out considerably, but if he kept crouched it was enough to keep him from being seen.
He could smell the female from just a ways off now, the scent much stronger. She had been part of that... silly pack, in the swamp. Led by a female, the notion was a strange one to the hybrid. He exhaled deeply, watching her continue to wander. He followed her for a few metres, silent and well hidden before coming out from the shadows to greet the lyxxus.
"You do realise you're on pack territory, miss," he called, a few feet behind her. He stood there in all his ebony glory, the blackness of his coat speckled only with blues and purples. So dark it was, that it appeared almost an indigo purple. In the daylight his eyes didn't shine quite so much, but the eerie glow from them was still apparent in the sun. "This land belongs to the Aurelian Enclave. I do hope you are not intending on tresspassing," he added, his voice sweet as honey. If she did intend on joining, bonus, but if not, at least she might provide some entertainment to the insatiable male.

Thalia continued on wandering through the forest, however it wasn’t long before she was greeted by another. His voice startled her out of her thoughts, and her body jolted around to confront the other wolf. How could I have not smelled him she thought. She hardly ever got caught off guard. Usually it was her that was slinking in the bushes: due to her inability to fight, she had to hide. She heard what he was saying and calmed, regaining her composure. Thalia smiled trying to hide her mild embarrassment and smoothly said in her gentle, melodic voice, “Yes, I do come here in plans of joining this pack. However I did not know I was already in the territory. I apologize, this land is foreign to me” Her voice seemed to flow across the quiet forest, getting carried by the subtle breeze.
It was then she had time to observe the one in front of her. His pelt was beautiful, black and shiny. The sun played off it in such a way it shone blues and purples if looked at on the right angle. His voice too, was one to listen to. She wondered why she had not heard him approaching for he was large, quite muscular. Though it did seem as if he retained grace, stealth, much like herself, being a Lyxxus. But this wolf was far too large to be a Lyxxus...she thought However, he had features of a Lyxxus too. Narrow muzzle and long whiskers, almost catlike. Contradicting this though were his colours. All cool colours, no warm, like the usual Lyxxus. She was curious, oh so very curious, but she would pursue this later.
“My name is Thalia and I come in hopes of becoming a healer for the pack” She bowed her head as a sign of respect, for this wolf had been polite too. She did not ask for his name; she never did. If one wanted their name to be known, they would offer it.

So she was planning on joining? His ears perked a bit, and he nodded in reply. "Your apology is most duly noted. And as a skoll to this pack I welcome you, but first if I may, I have some questions," he paused though, as she spoke again, answering what would have been his first question. A lyxxus, named Thalia, and a healer? His mind raced at the thought. Ahote was looking for those who knew the art of healing, either in power or in herbs. Having the healing power was of course more beneficial, but he doubted Ahote would turn down one skilled with herbal remedies.
"So Thalia, perhaps future healer of our pack, where do you hail from? From where have you gained your healing powers? Be they innate or material?" His speech sounded even foreign to him and his tail flicked in slight annoyance. "This pack treasures its females, but we have rules regarding their behaviour. There is to be no fighting, or serious hunting. A male should accompany you from place to place. You have the right to turn down a male, but we encourage any and all breeding to produce superior pups. Can you comply to these terms?"
Duchan watched her closely; for some females, restrictions as such were a deal breaker, but it depended on the one. Some were just too head strong to even dare go near them, but for others it was like a sanctuary.

Thalia nodded slightly, willing to answer any question this male had. After all it seemed as if he would be the one to let her into the pack if anyone. He spoke formally, sophisticatedly, and she tried to answer his questions to the best of her ability.
“I come from a great distance away. I do not know the exact locations but I have travelled past many packs’ territory and have been on my own for a fair amount of time since leaving my home pack. All the while searching for a new one.” Thalia left out the fact that she had joined a different pack prior to coming here for she did not want the male to think this was her second choice pack. It may impede her chances of being accepted into this pack. “I received my healing powers from my mother, who was a healer herself. Before I left the pack she taught me everything she could. I have the power to heal but am also skilled with natural remedies, as I most often use” she continued in reply to his second question. Usually if one was sick or injured she would do all she could with her powers. However she did not rely on them and majority of the time she would use herbs to bring along the healing process. Most healers would not admit it but there are some things herbs and natural remedies can do better than any wolf.
As for no fighting and hunting....she let out a little chuckle. “No worries on the no fighting and no hunting. Though I can stalk and capture small prey, I am not a serious hunter nor am I a fighter in the least. I do not have any problem with these terms.” Thalia was good at stalking prey, hiding, and going unnoticed if she wanted, but she usually only did this only to avoid a fight going on, or pass through the outskirts of a territory without being seen. However she wasn’t big on hunting and could defiantly go without. “Though I must say this now: the only one in which I would mate with would be my mate for life and out of love, not to just produce offspring. I hope this is acceptable,” she finished. She really did hope her terms would be ok, for this pack seemed lovely and the territory just topped it off. But if she was expected to mate just to produce young, then sadly, she would turn away.

If she was trying to lie to him, he would be able to catch it. He had dealt with a great deal of liars in his time, and so body language was key. Her words seemed genuine and he nodded in reply. Hadn't they all come from so far away, looking for a new place to call home? It seemed strange for Duchan now to be settling down, but he rather enjoyed pack life.
She answered his next question promptly and he nodded. So she was a true magical healer, something the Enclave desperately needed. They had to bring in a healer from an allied pack the last time one was needed. Ahote would be pleased with their own healer. "It sounds as if you are well versed in the arts of healing, Miss Thalia," he replied, but spoke no more as she chuckled.
She had no problem with terms he set either. How fantastic this match would be. A healer for the enclave, and a female who was fine with the terms of the agreement. Ahote would indeed be pleased by this. She spoke once more and a nod was gained. Duchan understood what she was saying, though he himself didn't quite believe or uphold the same values. "Ahote, our leader, is respectful of such wishes. Should you choose a mate the reasons may be whatever you wish, and you two will become exclusive. I am sure you will have no problems," he added that, then paused for a moment looking around.
He realised he had yet to introduce himself; usually something he liked to save until the end anyways, but he took the opportunity now. "How rude of me, Miss Thalia, for I have neglected my own introduction. My name is Duchanéir Olc, and I am a skoll to the Enclave. I am second in command to Ahote himself. But of course, you may call me just Duchan," he spoke slowly, pausing for a moment. "With that now out of the way, I would like to formally welcome you into the ranks of the Aurelian Enclave. If you wish to follow me, I will show you around your new home, and introduce you to the rest of the pack."
