General Name: Belle Ardente Lionne Alias: Belle Species:Hybrid; YagixMyou Gender:Female Age:5 Pack: Loner Rank: n/a
Physical Height: 48 inches Weight: 200 pounds Appearance: WOLF:
Belle is a large wolf, tall and heavy, but by no means fat. The excess weight is muscle, and Belle actually has a lean build. Her back legs are meant for jumping, and they have extra muscle so they can do just that. Her back legs are one of the small signs that she is a hybrid, not a over-grown lupus. Belle’s fur is very soft and hugs her body closely, for it is rather short- much better for higher temperatures. The fur itself is a beautiful white color, purer than the snow that lays in the tundra. It can get dirty easily, and so Belle spends a large part of her time cleaning her soft and silky fur. Belle’s claws and nose are black, while her fangs are bright white. Her sparkling eyes are a bright blue, with flecks of dark gray scattered around.
Though normal lions do not have blue eyes, some white lions do, and Belle’s second soul is, in fact, a white lioness. It also means she has some physical likenesses to a white lioness. Firstly, is her coat, which- as mentioned before- is pure white. Secondly, is her ears, which are more lion shaped than wolf shaped. Thirdly, is her tail, which is long and skinny, with a tuft of grey-ish fur at the end. Fourthly, her muzzle is also lion shaped, shorter and much more blunt. That also means she has the teeth of a lion, with dagger like fangs. Fifthly, her paws are more like a lion’s than a wolf’s. Most of these things are difficult to notice, save her tail, ears, and muzzle. Her coloring is also odd, but it could pass as the coat of a lupus’s.
REST:
Belle walks lightly, her long legs helping her move quickly when she wants to. She has an easy, loping gait, which can speed up to a flat out sprint, her long legs eating up the ground. Belle has a soft voice, but it can carry far. It is gentle and calm, except when she has been riled up. When in wolf form and she howls, it seems to be a cross between a howl and a roar. It is a very confusing sound to those who do not know about Belle and her second form.
LION:
When Belle transforms, her snowy colored fur turns even whiter, though her eyes stay the same. She resembles your usual white lioness, though no matter what, Belle cannot cover up the scent of wolf that is firmly imprinted on her. Other:Can shift her form into that of a white lioness’s. Also, the thread for the hybrid and the colors can be found here.
Mental Strengths: Intelligent Good hunter/fighter Fast Rather good looks Transformation Leadership abilities Night vision Weaknesses: Has problems with commitment Always traveling Prefers to be solo Brutally truthful Bad camouflage when she isn’t in a snowy area Cold climates, because of her short fur Sometimes underestimates herself Can be angered very easily Short attention span Speaks her mind Overly confident at times Rebellious Personality: Belle is a rather complicated person. Though she is a natural leader, at times she is cold and snappish. She has a sharp mind and an even sharper tongue, and often it gets her into trouble. Belle speaks her mind without caring about the consequences that are sure to follow, and is brutally honest. Belle thinks that there is no use trying to lie to someone, because sooner or later, the truth will be revealed. It is not that Belle dislikes liars, she just is not a liar herself.
Belle’s odd attitude confuses most, but she doesn’t care what others think of her. Though it seems as though Belle contradicts herself sometimes. Even though she is a natural leader, she prefers to go solo, and is nervous about commitments. Though she underestimates her abilities sometimes, at other times she is overly confident. She is willing to butter up other wolves, but doesn’t lie. It is better to simply go along with her odd personality rather than point it out to her, for Belle does not understand how she contradicts herself, and often, at that. Belle also loves to travel. She loves to be completely free, with no strings attached. Any other way, and she will feel trapped. It would be problematic in any relationship, with is why Belle prefers to have none. She is a wild spirit, and most likely will always be that way. If a male falls for her, she feels pressured, and, sadly, will most likely run away. She loved once, and it only ended badly. In her mind, it is much better to steer far away from love, of any kind. Anything that threatens her no-strings-attached lifestyle has to go. It is a weakness, for this, along with her want to be solo, means that she is usually alone. Belle is smart; she knows there is strength in numbers, but she feels that no one understands her. In fact, Belle believes she is the only one of her kind, and that makes her feel isolated. Not many think of her as a ‘real’ wolf. When she was younger, she was part of two worlds, and she kept on feeling like eventually she would have to choose one. History:
PUPHOOD:
Belle was born for one reason; Peace. She was not a product of love, or lust. She was the product of two packs trying to settle their differences, and make allies. Many of the wolves in the packs disagreed with the idea, but the four alphas went full steam ahead, anyway. The packs were of two different species, for they only allowed a certain race to join. One was yagi, one was myou. Belle’s graceful and regal lion myou mother was reluctant to the idea, but soon she warmed up to it, once she saw the peace it would bring. It seemed as though she passed on to Belle many good traits, and they say that her father was the reason of her faults. He was cocky, arrogant, selfish and cruel yagi, the root of many problems in his pack. But he was the sole heir, and so he was treated with respect, which did nothing to lower his large ego.
Stubborn and annoying, it was obvious why Belle’s friendly and peaceful mother did not like the idea first. But the burden lay on her shoulders, and she caved, much to the annoyance of her old nanny, who had taken care of her when she was just a young pup. The nanny proclaimed that they pups would be ‘demon pups, caught between two bodies and two hearts. The wild pups would be unnatural, and not pure wolf. They would have an unhappy life, trapped between two worlds.’ Belle’s mother brushed off the older wolf’s tales, consoling herself in the thought that the wolf was well past her prime, and probably off her rocker, too.
So the pups were born, all beautiful and smiling, especially the little white female. The lioness myou feared the pure white pup was albino, but when Belle finally opened her eyes, she was relieved to find that her eyes were a beautiful blue, like the ocean or sky. Once the pups were born, Belle’s father decided that they were no longer of importance, and he slowly lessened the time with them and their mother, until he was gone. Although obnoxious and demanding, it was the closest thing the to love that the lioness myou had ever known, and it hurt her to see him go. By then, the pups were old enough to understand that their father did not want them, and that he was, in fact, repulsed by the young wolves.
Belle’s two brothers took it fine, they were far more interested in chasing after a butterfly, or examining the new dandelion that grew. Belle sometimes thought they didn’t understand it fully, how they weren’t wanted, but it seemed to matter not to them. But for Belle, it did. Belle’s mother had been looking for males, for big, strong, heirs, and Belle was strong, and big, but not male. She was cast aside, and no one had use for her. Her brothers were off, running around together, her mother was chasing them, her father was wooing the next pretty female to pass him, and Belle was left. All alone.
That might have been forever, had it not been for Belle’s mother’s nanny, Divinia. Divinia took the young cub under her wings -literally; she was a sharp eyes eagle myou- and raised her as her own. Belle had been born with the grace and beauty her mother had, along with her regal nature, whereas her brothers were born more like their father, crude and annoying. The old wolf was said to be a Seer, and many rumors circulated when they heard the old crone was taking in the unwanted pup. But Belle was happily oblivious to this rumors, taking pleasure in the fact that she was wanted, if not for why she thought. The old wolf was taking care of Belle because she had had a rather peculiar vision about a white lioness ruling over the two packs single handedly. For some reason, she connected the powerful lioness with Belle, for they seemed very much the same.
Fearful, the old she-wolf wanted to make sure that Belle’s loyalty was with her, for the stories about the specific hybrid were quite frightening. How was it possible that one being could be two, the old wolf wondered. So Belle spent her time with the old wolf, who claimed herself to have French origins, and gave Belle the surname ‘Ardente Lionne’, which meant fiery lioness. Though at the time Belle thought the surname odd, she did not question it, and took it with pride.
YOUNG ADULTHOOD:
Though Belle was happy with the old wolf, she desperately longed for her family. When an epidemic passed through the lands she prayed that her family would not get sick, but her father was the first to come upon the illness. Her brothers were next to fall, and last was her mother. Her strong, beautiful, regal, brave mother.. She had always seemed so unstoppable, so untouchable. But she was gone. Belle slipped into a state of misery, and even the Divinia couldn’t get her to smile anymore. The happy pup was gone, and those around her were exposed to the sad side of her, the part she had always covered up so well. Broken inside, Belle slowly withdrew from the world, tears seeming to become a permanent feature on her beautiful face. Those around her began to believe that the smile would never return to the wolf’s face, but it did. It came back, along with a certain loner. He was a handsome male, Ragnar was. A large tiger myou, he was exiled from his old pack for reasons unclear.
Though the two bonded packs did not trust him, they could not simply turn away a loner, and welcomed him into the pack, though they kept a close eye on him. Belle, especially. He was so captivating, so handsome, so brave and so strong. Those were all the traits Belle admired, and soon she found herself in the company of the male more and more often. She did not mind it, and though now she hated any part of contact with other wolves, Ragnar was different. He seemed to understand her pain, or at least a tiny portion of it. The feelings of friendship soon blossomed into something more, and it was with a smile on her face that Belle told Divina of her feelings. She proclaimed she was in love with Ragnar, but Divina just laughed, and said angrily, “Don’t be silly. You can’t fall in love. Look at yourself! You’re almost two, my dear, that is far to young to fall in love. How long have you known him, anyway?” However, Belle felt that Divinia was wrong. She was in love, madly in fact. And when she was two and appointed alpha of the packs, she immeadiately asked Ragnar if he would be her mate. He accepted, and the two ruled the pack with a firm yet gentle hand. But when Belle was two and a half, Ragnar’s loyalties began to waver. He loved Belle, but there was another pack, one that could offer him much more.. He just had to do one thing; turn his love into them.
It was a difficult decision, but Ragnar was easily corruptible, and it was all to simple to invite Belle on a walk with him, and then reap the rewards. It all went smoothly, until Belle was ambushed. Ragnar suddenly realized what he had done, and tried to protect his love. But Belle was enraged, and it was then when she transformed for the first time, and she then proceeded to kill the two wolves that had come to capture her. She then turned to Ragnar. Pain and sadness were easy to see in his eyes, and there was love as well. But how could Belle love the wolf who would turn her over to the enemy. It was with a heavy heart that Belle turned to kill him, but she could not bring herself to do that. After maiming him, she turned and left, left him to go find his allies and explain his cold feet at the last moment.
No one questioned where Ragnar went, for the blood on Belle’s pure white coat and her glistening eyes showed that it had not been a happy ending for either.
ADULTHOOD:
Though Ragnar was gone, Belle ruled the pack still. She soon learned to control her transformations, but they were secret. But secrets were made to be told, or at least found out. Belle’s second form was soon the big news around the two packs, and they demanded that she removed herself from the throne. Though the pack had thrived under her watch, the idea of being two separate creatures scared the wolves, and she was cast out to the lowest rank. They were scared, and sometimes fear brings out the best in some, yet sometimes the worst in others. Those who wanted to give her a chance were quickly silenced, and Belle was left alone. Again.
She was caught between the two packs. She belonged in both, yet neither at the same time. Belle was part of the myou pack, for she was half myou herself. And she was part of the yagi pack, for her father had been the ruler of it before her. Yet she was different. Always and forever, she had been different, and it was only a matter of time she realized it. Divinia sadly turned her back on the three year old, leaving her to stew in guilt. What had gone wrong? What had she done? It was all her fault, wasn’t it?
No. Now Belle was angry, at the pack, at Divinia, and her mother, and her father, and her brothers.. And mostly, mostly at Ragnar. She left, not looking back once. Her cold heart and stormy looks made it easy to avoid others, seeing as none really wanted to cross paths with a 200 pound, angry, sad, and lonely wolf like Belle. Once she had been named because of her grace, her beauty, and most importantly, her never ending happiness. Now, Belle felt as though it was truly wrong for her to have the name.
PRESENT TIME:
Belle now wanders the lands of Wonderwhy, with a heavy heart and a new coldness. Her reign had came to an end, but she will now do anything to gain it, once again. The lion queen’s legacy is over, but she is still going strong.
Other: Firstly, Divinia, the old she-wolf, actually had the gift of fore-sight. I forget what the power is called, but it is that. Is it okay to do a character like that? I don't plan on actually making her, I just want to make Divinia have that special power. Also, I wanted to make Belle a former Queen, because, somewhere along the line, I want her to finally start a pack of her own.
