Weight: 120 lbs & 215 lbs
Appearance: Nile is nearly pure muscle, thick sheets of it rolling constantly beneath her sleek fur. Her legs are well proportioned to the rest of her body, and they certainly live up to the status of being able to hold her weight. Her paws are a tad on the larger side, but allow for better footing considering her size, and her claws tend to not remain groomed in the slightest, leaving them to be on the sharp, almost serrated, side. Her chest is massive, giving her plenty of room for her beating heart and lungs, and her shoulders follow suit in this. Her back is long, leading down towards her wide hips, which are just about as big as her shoulders are, and in turns shows off her tail. It is well-cared for and not too bushy, nor is it too long. It hangs about three inches off the ground in any instance. Her muzzle narrows more towards the nose, but remains wide for the rest. Her cheeks are plump with fur and her ears are sharp as triangles.
Let's add some color to this picture. Or lack thereof. Nile appears to be a normal gray wolf, but with masculine qualities rather than feminine as she should, except for one area that shall not be discussed here. Her fur is silver, darker on the top and lighter towards her feet. The light and dark mingle all throughout her fur, though the pattern of the shading is rather clear. Her underbelly, chest, and cheeks are nearly pure white, as well as her feet. Most of her face is the darkest silver, but there are two slightly lighter spots around her eyes in contrast to that. The insides of her ears are snowy white and her ears are bordered as well as tipped with an inky black. Her tail seems to be colored in the same way. Her gums are a healthy, bubblegum pink, and her teeth are a shining ivory. They are not the sharpest teeth around, which may be something gained when her second soul left her body, but they certainly do the trick in any fight. Her fur is as slick as a snake's scales.
Her eyes are next on the list and this is where the color really does come in. It seems to be the only color, minus her gums and tongue, that she has on her. They are shaped to that of nearly perfect ovals and are bordered with thick eyelashes, handy when there is snow, wind, or sand blowing right into her face. Not to mention this adds a feminine detail about her that makes her seem like a proper woman, even though everything else makes her seem otherwise. The coloration of her irises is incredible, an extremely sharp contrast to everything else about her. Gold. They are not yellow, they are gold. A shining, hard shade of gold that is the first thing most will see about her when looking at her. That or her Daemon, but that's another story. Her eyes don't often reveal anything, taught to remain stone still by her outer companion, but sometimes she can't help but show emotion through these things. That seems to be inevitable.
Her voice is rather odd. It certainly sounds feminine, but there is a tone to it that remains left over from when Tez left her body. While on the outside, it is smooth and has something akin to a chime in it, there are still the undertones she gained when she was a Myou. Her voice rasps and slithers beneath the stronger side of her voice, as though she has a lisp of sorts. This isn't often detectable and one would most likely need very good hearing to spot it. This can change with the volume of her voice. When louder, the undertones tend to vanish a little more, as though they never existed, but when softer, they seem to become more prominent. When this happens, it is almost like her second soul as returned to her body and is speaking outwardly to those in front of his host. This can make her a suspicious character or seem like one who is trying to be seducing, when that's not the case at all. Sometimes she hates her voice, but she certainly is glad she can't sing worth crap.
You must be wondering why this female has such a massive and masculine appearance, why she has so much muscle on her body. There is really only one answer to that question: she needs it because of her Daemon. Her Daemon is a snake, but not just any snake. He is a Green Anaconda, the largest snake species in the world. He is over thirty feet in length and is about as wide around as a wolf's tail. His head is triangular and his mouth is full of dull, serrated teeth meant for keeping prey in place as he strangles them to death. His scales are a forest green, growing barely paler to his belly. He is covered with very dark green, nearly black, spots all over his body, ranging in different shapes and sizes. Some of those spots consist of yellow-green stripes down the lower sides of his body. His head is narrow and his eyes are set high up on them, allowing him to see out of water when swimming and while concealing his body. His eyes are a ghostly gold color, just like Nile's. It seems to be the only thing they physically share.
Other: Nile's size has mostly to do with the bulk of her detached second soul. That, and he tends to be lazy, which leaves her to carry him to most places that they go.
Mental
Strengths:
- Size -- Her size is a major advantage in things like fighting. Her bulk can be overwhelming, even though she is not the strongest, but she is able to hold her own in a fight. This can also help in getting out of sticky situations, such as being trapped beneath something.
- Outer Daemon -- She knows she does not have to watch over him all the time, since he can clearly take care of himself in any situation. He is bigger than any wolf. The only thing he couldn't handle himself with would be a dragon. He could at least fight a Griffin, little chance of winning, though. He can also provide protection for her should she need it and catch her food when she is ill, not to mention provide a rather large bed. He can also be used as a training tool. He can wrap himself around her stomach and torso and make her carry him around to strengthen herself. She also has a very strong bond with him. She can feel his pain, see through his eyes, and always knows where he is.
- Silence -- She isn't much of a talker as Tez is, but she can when she wants to be. She works on her hearing most of the time, positive that it is one of the few things that could be her saving grace if she were ever to lose another sense. This is also one of her favorite things, for it allows her to hear the beauty of what it around her. The bugs on the ground, the birds in the air, and the deer chewing on grass. Even her Daemon crushing the bones of his next meal.
- Hard Worker -- She doesn't believe that slacking and being lazy are the ways to get anywhere. She has always been a hard worker, in order to go places and in order to prove herself. Her perseverance can be incredible, especially with the way she will keep going, emotionally and mentally, no matter the obstacle that blocks her path.
- Stamina -- This doesn't just count physically, it also counts emotionally and mentally. She can take quite a verbal beating when it intends to get to her inner core, and yet she goes on. Her emotions can be as solid as stone, untouchable by just about anyone. After awhile, this can wear down easily, but she manages to keep herself guarded for the most part.
Weaknesses:
- Size -- This can pertain to her weight or just her size in general. She can be too big to go certain places or too heavy to stand on certain things. She can't climb trees or weave through incredibly tight spaces. The most she can do in the latter sense is tear is down as she walks through it. Playing with another wolf can be an issue here, too, as her size could harm them easily should they be smaller than her. She is also careful not to lay on Tez's head as well.
- Emotions -- These tend to be as hard as steel, never showing themselves and rarely being affected by the things around her. Though she doesn't intentionally mean to come off as a bitch, it seems to happen regardless. She just doesn't seem to feel emotions as well as she had when she was a Myou, even though that was only a year of her life. It can confuse her when someone tries to get some sort of emotion out of her, good or bad.
- Outer Daemon -- Even though having him around can be very useful for many things, this can also be a hazard. He is a separate being and she cannot control what he does. If he were to attack a passerby, she couldn't stop him. Not only is she smaller, but harming her own Daemon would be harming herself. She feels the pain that he feels all the time, and harming him herself would only be attacking herself. On another note, if the two were ever separated from one another, such as being captured or killed, the other would become an empty shell, useless in every sense.
- Socially Awkward -- Being an outcast for what her Daemon is, she was never really one to socialize with others, except for her own Daemon and her father. Not only is talking difficult because she doesn't do it much, she tends to mutter and grumble quite a bit. Tez can usually be the one to do the talking for her, though he doesn't like to do it just as much as her. He can be the blabber mouth, though.
- Rules -- She doesn't really care for them, to be honest. Considering she travels with a nearly thirty foot long snake, not many wolves have really dared to challenge her just because her snake companion provides a buffer for these things. She tends to cross pack boundaries without caring, though she doesn't even realize it, and she can say things that will offend others, things that aren't really supposed to be said to others. She isn't exactly aware of these things, but she does them anyways.
- Stubborn -- This trait tends to get her into trouble, especially when she doesn't want to budge from the decision she wishes to make. At times, not even her Daemon can convince her to think differently about the choice she makes. Most times, though, this can be a minimal issue compared to some of the other weaknesses she has. Being stubborn can cause conflict between herself and others, but she has never been afraid to back out of a fight. Often times, she refuses to lose, which can cause even more mishaps.
- Honesty -- This can pertain quite a bit with the stony emotions she has. She doesn't really see the problem in telling others the truth which they seek, which can be a put-down in quite a few cases. She doesn't tend to care if she hurts someone's feelings, but then again doesn't really see why they would be hurt. If they ask her for the truth and she gives it to them, why should they react so negatively to her words? In other words, she can be nowhere near sensitive to feelings.
- Vulgarity -- Yes, this lovely female uses all sorts of words in the language, unaware of how offensive and rude they can make her sound. To her, they are just words and she doesn't really care for how others do not like them. Like the rest of the language with wolves, she has her slip ups, but she does often try to work on fixing those problems.
Personality: Nile is the type of anti-social female that you wouldn't really expect, but considering her situation, it's not all that odd. She rather enjoys being silent, being able to listen to the beauty of the things around her, even the smallest things that would take intense training to hear. When she does speak, though, she can come off as a bitch. A cold, heartless being who doesn't get why being vulgar is offensive. She really doesn't get it though. She is the socially awkward mess that can't keep a decent conversation with someone without pissing them off. To be honest, that's just how she is. She can't really connect with people on an emotional level, and the only one she has ever managed to do that with is her own Daemon, despite their differences. She is blatantly honest with everyone, which can cause even further problems with the way she is, but she is also a very hard worker with good morals and ethics. She never turns her back on a true friend and never gives up, no matter the emotional or physical toll it takes on her. Her emotions tend to be as solid as steel, nearly untouchable by anyone that speaks to her. She has her limits, though, as everyone does, but her facades never seem to break until she is away from them.
Tezcacoatl is quite the opposite of his Daja friend. He is very talkative, yet sometimes nowhere near friendly, but loves Nile more than anything else in the world. He would protect her from anything she needed protecting from and would help her with anything she needed helping with. He is a fiery ball of passion in just about everything that he does. He is very focused on keeping his mind trained in keeping himself and Nile safe. He cares for her when she is sick and provides himself as a bed for her at night so she may sleep. He hunts for her as well. However, he never really curses nor is he as socially awkward. He tends to be just as challenging and stubborn as she is, though, another trait they share together. Only if he really disbelieves in what Nile believes, then he will try to convince her otherwise, but most days he is on her side no matter the evidence provided against her and he fights beside her to the end. He is her vent of sorts, not to mention her best friend. If they were ever separated, both of them would become empty capsules, useless in every sense until they were reunited.
All in all, this odd couple is only trying to survive in this world, not wreak havoc on it.
History: Being a Myou was hard enough. Having to endure the endless taunting, suffering, and being an outcast was painful. It took a toll on someone's heart very easily, especially when they were not accepted by anyone. Even if they were, they would be forced into a very low position and used at the punching bag on a daily basis. That's how he was, Ike, the Myou. Long before his beloved daughter was born, Nile's father was a loner traveling from pack to pack, trying to find a home where he could be loved and safe, even from the pack's own members. Wherever he went, though, everyone rejected him for his second soul. The garden snake, something small and incredibly harmless, had manifested itself within him and it was the reason he was unloved wherever he went. He was harmless and he simply wanted to be a part of something that he could help thrive. It pained him, but he loved his second soul too much to admit to others that he hated Slytha.
However, when he felt his luck was on the verge of running out, he found himself at a river. He loved water, because Slytha loved to swim. He sat at the edge of the water and stared curiously at his reflection. Oh how he resembled the snake within him, even though these were things he did not mind, he still felt as though this was the main reason that others treated him like an outcast. Perhaps he would never find a loving home with a loving family, as his own had abandoned him years ago. Suddenly, though, it hit him right into the water that this would not be the case. Literally, it hit him and he fell into the water. Well, more like she did. A young bearded dragon Myou by the name of Iris had practically tackled him into the water, though remained on dry land herself. She was around his age and was the daughter of the pack's leader. Well, they were more like a nomadic group of Myou, banded together because of the lack of love from other species.
It was here that he found himself a home, for after pushing him into the water, Slytha realized what he was. She asked him where he came from and he told her it didn't matter, that no one had ever loved him and probably never would. To her, it was clear he was a Myou as she and the rest of her group was, and she pitied him. She asked him his story, how many packs he had gone to in order to find some type of acceptance. The massive number did not surprise her and it seemed as though to her that he was just like the rest of them. Unloved, abandoned, and unwanted wherever he went. For a few minutes, the cardinal Myou stared at him, pondering the possibility of her father allowing him into the group. The group was generally made up of people they knew, but she felt bad for Ike. She wanted him to have happiness and a home just as much as the rest of them had managed to find. She was skeptical about bringing him to the pack, but didn't care for consequence.
"All right, come with me." Her pretty little wings, as crimson as blood, flailed a few times as she turned around and trotted off into the trees. For a few seconds, Ike stared in wonder, but made himself move before she vanished into the trees. It was not hard to follow her, due to her bright red pelt in contrast to the cool colors of the forest, and little by little, he found himself taking a liking to her. Kind, playful, and very pretty. Her fur mingled with feathers, making her pelt seem like a constant mess, but it was a good look for her. Her wings were strong and large, clearly able to hold her well in flight. Her front legs were that of the bird itself, armed with some nasty sharp talons. She would make a formidable opponent in battle, and he was all too willing to admit that. With a small snaked inside of himself, he couldn't help but feel so insignificant compared to her. Not only in size and ability, but in color as well. He was slightly jealous of her looks.
They reached an open clearing where he found himself amazed. There were wolves everywhere, of every different kind. It was clear just from one glance that they were all Myou. A smile of massive proportions adorned his face and he felt so happy, but when they all turned, seemingly guarded at his sudden appearance. A massive male, clearly with the second soul of a red tailed hawk, stood and padded over to them. He nuzzled Slytha lovingly, greeting his daughter with great compassion. After that reunion of sorts, he stood tall and turned to Ike, asking who he was. He introduced himself, his name and his second soul. Slytha took over after and explained to her father, Donan, what he had told her. After a few moments of quick debate in the leader's eyes, he smiled down at the smaller Myou, turned to the pack and introduced its newest member. Ike was overjoyed, and it did not take him long to fit into the daily routine of things.
A few years passed and everything was okay. Everyone was best friends with one another, and there were very few fights. Those fights would be resolved and the fighters would return to friends in the moments after. He spent the most time with Slytha, finding her to be the best companion he had found here yet. Over the few years he had lived with them, he fell in love with the female and he was rather sure that she returned those feelings. She did, but she was rather shy when it came to her feelings. Insecure, even. One day, taking a chance, Ike approached Donan and asked his permission is he could as Slytha to be his mate. Impressed by how debonair he was on the matter, he gave him his blessing. It was not just for Ike that he gave the blessing, but he knew his daughter adored the male and loved him more than life. Of course, there would still be the ever-lingering threat of an over protective father hanging over the small Myou's head.
That night, Ike took Slytha aside on a walk down the river where they met. They were roughly the same size, and their reflections blended awkwardly in the water. They had a nice long conversation and just as they sat, Slytha grew weary. She rested her head on his shoulder when he asked her that lovely question. Surprise registered first, then absolute joy. She tackled him into the river as she had on her first day, but this time went in with him. She smothered him with kisses and nuzzles of pure love. When they eventually dragged themselves back onto shore, the passion intensified. Ike had not intended it to go this far, but it had gone this far indeed. It was there that they truly committed themselves to one another as real mates would. The night was filled with love between them and no one but them knew what happened that night, even though in the next few weeks to come everyone would find out.
Slytha became emotion in the next following weeks, her mood changing from one thing to another so suddenly. This worried Ike and he tried to please her in any way he could, but he was completely unaware of what everyone else knew. He was so confused and lost. Seeing what had truly occurred, Donan took Ike aside and for a minute or two, the garden snake Myou wondered if he had done something wrong. He was worried he was about to be forbidden from seeing her again. His heart raced horridly in his chest and he was scared of the massive Myou in front of him. Even in the light, though, he could see the male was getting old. He looked tired, yet as wise as ever. His golden eyes gazed down upon the male for awhile before he sighed, reached out one wing and patted the smaller male's head. Then, he laughed. Just like that, he laughed and Ike had no idea why. What he said next nearly swept him from his feet.
"Slytha is pregnant."
Ike blinked. "Come again?"
"I am surprised that she didn't tell you. To be honest, everyone thought you knew about it. I'm sorry that you didn't." All things considered, Donan seemed ecstatic. "You are producing my first grandchildren, Ike. I also wish to ask you something."
The garden snake Myou was still at a loss for words.
"I am getting old, son. I want you to take my place when the pup is born."
This was another thing that he found himself at a loss for words for, and he honestly could not believe what was happening. Donan explained that he knew how much Ike loved his daughter and wanted nothing more than for them to be happy. Besides, even he knew his time was coming and that he knew he would probably only live to see the pup reach maturity. Slytha was the one who was going to inherit the pack, being his daughter, but with a mate, she didn't need to worry about that responsibility. Ike would run the pack until she was well enough to join him in the same position. She had previously agreed to this, for she wanted to focus on her pups for the first year of its life or so. She was new to being a mother and every female in the pack was prepared to help her get through it. At that point, life went from stressful to busy. Everyone was helping Slytha prepare for the birth as she became larger, and Donan was training Ike on becoming leader.
Then, the birth came.
It was long and arduous, and for awhile Ike was afraid that his mate nor the pup would make it. After the small bundle was pulled away and licked clean, though, everything was okay. Donan made the announcement then, that Ike was their new Alpha male and that Slytha was their Alpha female. Time passed and Donan found himself adoring the pup every second that she grew. They named the little thing Nile, after the fact that she looked like a river. Brown and green, covered with scales. It did not take them long to figure out that her second soul was a snake, but they were unsure of what kind. Based on her build and her fur texture, she was certainly a snake Myou. The only thing they were aware of was the fact that her second would was a rather massive snake, considering she became the biggest female in the pack around a year and a half old. She was larger than both of her parents and even rivaled the size of her grandfather.
At a year and a half old, she was out wandering by herself, training herself to balance on smaller sized objects and work on the whip like attacks her father had taught her with her tail. Alone, an enemy found her, one of massive size and strength. No, it was not another wolf, but a Calagris. Seeing the female as a target, the creature charged when she was not looking and attacked. Scared and not having been in a fight before, Nile screeched at bit at the creature like a wolf fueled with too much adrenaline. The other heard her cries and rushed to where she was, but only came in time to see the Calagris finish mauling her into a bloody heap on the ground. It trampled and scratched at her a few more times before catching sight of the many others that had arrived. It turned tail and fled with great speed. A few chased after to make sure it was gone. Slytha, Ike, and Donan approached the child with fear, horrified of what they saw.
Many bones were broken and there were too many lacerations to count. Blood soaked her scales and fur, the same crimson liquid dripping out of her mouth. Even to her own mother, Nile was unrecognizable. She was not moved and the healers were left to do their work then and there. Doing what they could, they cleaned her and cleaned the wounds that they could reach. It was a miracle the child was still alive, her heart beating strongly. Peril swept them through the night, but all fell asleep around the female. As soon as that happened, phenomenon took place and not even Nile was aware of it. Nile, mentally, was trapped in a grey void that she could not escape. She didn't understand what was going on, but the silver reflective wall in front of her was showing her a grey wolf with her gold eyes. She didn't get that it was her, and that what was going on was rare, but was needed to save her own life, as well as the life of her second soul.
When she woke, daylight had come and she found everyone around her, staring with wide eyes. Wondering what was going on, she lifted herself to a standing position, finding herself able to move completely. Bewildered, she stared at her reflection in the water behind her, finding that she was staring into the same picture that she had in that void. She no longer had scales, but that's not what startled her, and she wasn't scared because she was in perfect health. She had often tried to picture what her second soul looked like, and now she knew. Wrapped around her torso and chest was a massive Green Anaconda. His head rested on top of hers and his eyes were the same shade as hers, locked directly with her gaze. He greeted her and gave his name. Everyone was silent, staring in absolute disbelief at the creature wrapped around her. This is when Tezcacoatl was small, less than ten feet. He would come to reach his full length by two years old.
"I have seen this once before in my life..." Everyone turned to Donan when he spoke. "Her second soul has split from her body because she was near death. By doing so, she was able to live, but she is no longer a Myou."
"Then...what is she?" Slytha asked her father.
"A Daja. The snake is her Daemon. They are an incredibly rare species derived only from Myou when the soul splits. This has not happened for many years. Nile, you are an extremely rare wolf."
The pack had a meeting that day in the camp clearing. Nile was terrified of what would happen, so she stayed out of it. She made pleasant chatter with Tezcacoatl and they somehow got onto the subject of leaving. From what they could hear of the clearing, extra precautions would need to be taken with Nile in their midst. Mothers didn't trust the snake, even though Donan tried to explain the snake could not attack another wolf unless it were a Daja as well. They all loved the old man, but they were scared and skeptical. Her own parents weren't sure what to do with her, and this broke her heart. She made the decision there. She could defend herself, hunt for herself, and with a snake like Tezcacoatl, she didn't have much to worry about. She padded into the clearing, her soft voice causing all to stop and turn to her. When she spoke, she wasn't sure how they were going to take the news, but she knew she made a good choice.
"I will not bring unnecessary harm to my loved ones. It seems that it is best for Tezcacoatl and I to leave you." She paused a moment, seeing the pain in her parents' eyes. "I love you all more than life, but it is best that I leave. Farewell. May we see each other again someday."
Without another thought nor another word, Nile left the clearing with her Daemon. Within minutes, she stepped out of the boundaries that her family called home. Travel began there, and for the most part, they remained lying low. They did not engage themselves in fights, but often times most were afraid to fight them just because of the snake. They grew to not care for rules and respect, knowing that at their three years of age, they were strong enough to fight off most wolves. Everywhere they went, Tezcacoatl trained Nile to become stronger, helped her build her muscle. It ended up making her appear more male than female, the only hint being her eyelashes, thick and fluttering. They grew very close, considered one another the best of friends. Nothing could separate them, but they were careful never to be physically separated, for they feared something bad would happen. Tezcacoatl reached his full thirty-six feet in length and Nile reached the height and weight of a fully grown male Daja, even though she is still female.
Other: They are not, never were, and never will be evil. This snake isn't quite like that. xD
