The day dawned with spectacular brightness in the jungle, brightness in the sense that the foliage seemed to be significantly more brilliant than normal, as if taking on luster to prepare for the All Hallows Eve festivities. Scorch smiled with knowing delight, the event would be a grand party of epic proportions and as the Mafia was not bound by such petty issues as being moral proper it could be assured it would be a bash to remember. The pack had been working hard to achieve a powerful reputation, new members joining frequently and all ensuring the pack borders were under strict surveillances. His collection of miscreants now comprised some of the most dastardly, rare and magnificent black hearted beings ever to set foot in the territory and Scorch only hoped more might follow. He had joined with the preset knowledge he would be Don at any cost, nothing less would suffice and as it were he had achieved that goal, but the challenge was not taking the title, it was upholding it. With such a rank it was his responsibility to be the leader and command the pack into order while still leaving room for member and their own preferences of freedom. But it was so much more than that, and now that he would become a father it behooved him to double his efforts to be sure to leave his pups a legacy they could be proud to be part of and one day rule.
As it were, his pups meant much more to the Don than he could voice; his family was his hope, his way of continuing on when he died and living through his pups. This way the mafia would always be in his family, passed down generation to generation to create the deepest and most solidly founded criminal gang since Scorch’s first pack. Thinking back brought darkness and a savage hate to his heart that was so comforting and caressing to the fire lupus that he let it burn him slowly, delighting in the flames of darkness that lapped at his soul slowly, teasing him and whispering sweet murderous promises in his mind. Giving in to them was an almost exotic reality, one that would lead him past the boarders of insanity into the realm of chaos and corruption and were it not for his family he might embrace the darkness with a dedicated heart. The specter that now graced his side was of a like mind, not particularly thrilled with Scorch for having chosen a mate, the ghost believed Scorch should simply take several and choose the strongest pup from the litters, and maybe if Scorch had not met Tor he would have done such a thing. The Devil only knew what Scorch could have become without his mate and partner in crime, and though the thought was concerning it was a fantasy the Don allowed himself to indulge in occasionally. He well remembered the old days, side by side with the only heartless bastard he deemed of any worth in his old camp, as Scorch indulged his animal instinct tearing through the pack lands and taking whatever, and certainly whoever met his fancy.
He could certainly fall prey to this habit easily, and with Tor unavailable to meet his own needs his hunger was beginning to increase with every day…Surely a little nibble wouldn’t hurt? No one need know and he could be sure the damsel in question would not rat him out. Sighing he supposed he might invest some time in this ungodly behavior at a later date. However, for the moment he needed to patrol the borders, requiring the time and exercise to organize his thoughts and definitely still young hormones. The festival was all planned and the designated guest had been approved, though Scorch did not know whether they would enjoy it. Laughing in cruel amusement he supposed they would have no choice, and perhaps they might enjoy embracing the side of themselves that so many feared and spat on. Really all wolves were simply animals, why not enjoy it, the strong would survive and the weak would die, point blank and it was the way Scorch loved it.
His paws itched to travel farther and indulge in some of his darker desires, leading him farther and farther away from the line between his home and the rest of the world. The farther away he moved the more his mind was caressed by this new thought, this long time obsession of his that prevented him from not enjoying a piece of tail every so often. The specter at his side was all smiles, leering gaping eyes staring at him in approval as the larger wolf floated alongside the lupus. “Well it certainly took you long enough to realize you cannot outrun who you really are Scorchie boy. You’ve worked hard enough, let loose why don’t you? That female will never know, you’re simply too good to get caught. Common, live a little, after all, you only live once.” A cackling gurgled from deep within his rotting throat, drop of black blood spraying from between his moldy maw. Curling his nose in disgust Scorch could not help but wonder why the ghost was so agreeable, and it was this wonder that kept him in check at that very second.
Scorch said nothing in response, he did not need to and the specter knew Scorch was pondering this very thing rather seriously. It appeared to annoy the ghost that the lupus even needed to think about it, but it remained silent only frowning in disapproval. What Scorch would give for one more day of pillaging, he did not even know if he had it in him anymore what with a family on the way of his own to consider. At that the specter snarled out, enraged, “You annoying prick, stop bloody using your damn brain and get fuckin’ real!” A great vote of confidence Scorch noted, glaring at his unwanted companion. Why was it that he should be the one to get stuck with such a disturbing figure, the rotting smell emanating off the specter putrid to Scorch, and yet undetected by others and the sight enough to haunt the toughest of warriors right until their deaths. A handsome bloke like him should be out and enjoying his power, using it to suit his means and fulfilling his own desires without care for the consequences; he was the Don after all.

[scrolly:h(440), w(340),sy] The scent of exotic plants crept into Shallot nose. With so many aromas in the air here, Shallot became lost incredibly quickly. Thinking she could follow her own scent back to the prairie where just hours before she had met, in Shallot’s opinion, the friendliest wolf that walked this earth, Kasmira, only to discover the perfume of flowers had almost completely engulfed her trail. She scrunched up her face, frustrated by the realization that since she had never traveled in such aromatic foliage before making it close to impossible to get her bearings. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I should have just gone back to the canyon when I had the chance.
I’m such a dumbass Shallot thought as a sly smile crept across her face I can fly, should have thought of that before I started to freak out. She started to stretch out her dark charcoal wings but stopped half way when she felt them touch the trees around her. Oh no, no, this is definitely not happening! Shallot panicked. She turned around and ran as fast as she could (which isn’t very fast given that she’s a Keiyou) in the direction she thought was out, unfortunately for the dark she-wolf, she was in fact going further into the jungle.
Shallot stopped running after a she realized that if she was running the right way she’s have gotten out by now. Her eyes started to well up as she was fighting a mental break down. She took a deep, shaky breath, her eyes suddenly widened as she sniffed the tree near her. The scent of another pack of wolves lingered on the tree, Shallot had never even know a pack lived here, she had heard some wolves mention that a pack of criminals said to be called the Hellion Mafia lived in the jungle but she thought it was just a rumor.
She tried to steady her trembling body and tried to think through her situation, it was much harder to problem solve when she couldn’t fly. She sat down and tried to remain calm closing her eyes to attempt to connect with her thoughts. Shallot, for god’s sake you lived as a loner for who knows how long, you can handle this. She opened her icy blue eyes and saw a flame colored wolf in the distance. Oh. Shit. A border patrol? Really? Of course there would, with my luck he’s probably going to try to kill me too. [/scrolly]

Scorch began to move farther out from his own land, but the smell of the Mafia still surrounded him as he stalked his way through the shadows, disappearing out of sight and into the darkness of the foliage. It appeared as though other Mafia members often moved outside the borders, they were a very territorial pack that did not take kindly to trespassers and because of their wandering it appeared as though their territory was larger than it appeared. A nice way to trick trespassers into believing they had already entered mafia soil, Scorch thought with amusement. Would it not be fun to catch such a wolf, he sighed inwardly, doubting very much he would be graced with such fortunate luck.
But as if to grace his wishes the Great Spirit seemed to have brought such a wolf down to him, and as Scorch looked ahead the distinct shape of a dark keiyou appeared. Looking onward he watched as the wolf tried to take flight, their frantic movements seeming to indicate that they were loss. Smiling in a chilling fashion Scorch practically cackled with unabashed amusement, so they had not come to join he could but assume. Taking a hunting pose he moved quickly through the shadows, approaching the back of the wolf. His nostrils flared as he smelt the lovely scent of female from the wolf, and that of another pack. Blood already boiling and hormones flying through his body it finally broke Scorch's resolve. He knew what this female's punishment for coming so close to his lands would be, but first he would have some fun.
Materializing from the darkness an errant beam of light struck his fur, highlighting the blood red streaks in it and the perfect jet black of his pelt. A cold sneer met his maw as his mesmerizing sea blue green gaze rose to try and meet the female's icy one. With a domineering posture that resembled a wolf on the hunt, his tail held high, and his added height and weight he was easily at an advantage, without taking into account his little natural ability. His deep voice trickled through the air, smooth and dangerous it left no room to indicate he was anything but the Alpha of the pack. "My my, what has the jungle caught today?" His eyes ran over her body, taking no shame in giving the female a suggestive search. "A tasty morsel for the Don?"
Liking his chops slowly he noted the lack of other wolves in the sheltered area, "You're awfully alone, and trespassing on top of it, such a crime should not go...unjudged." Scorch moved closer to the keiyou, forcibly invading her space and flaring his nostrils as he took in the female scent, blood rushing through his body. It had been so long, too long for the young male and he would but mentally torture the keiyou before claiming what was to be his. "Perhaps if you atone for this discretion I may let you go, what do you propose to offer as payment to the Don?" His tone was entirely too suggestive, he was letting the female know what he wanted and pretending to give her a choice. "But first you will tell me your name, such a lovely trespasser must not go without a name to match such a shapely figure."
The Don slowly circled the keiyou, fur barely brushing up against hers as he took in all that was being presented to him. His, yes, the female was his for the taking, and he took a quick nibbled at her flank barely drawing blood, his sharp teeth urging her to reply in all haste as his tail ran along her side. He leisurely licked the blood drops, the first drawing of blood was always the catalyst to Scorch, and the best part of any fight. The specter remained nearby, a boastful grin of malicious glee on his decaying maw as he watched Scorch stalk the female. Scorch moved to stand in front of the Keiyou, asserting his dominance as small flames began to filtered through his fur menacingly. Cocking a brow he gave the keiyou a quick wink of mild mockery, a snarlish grin on his maw that was meant to threaten and demonstrate his confidence. Time to see how she might react to her precarious situation...

[scrolly:h(440), w(340),sy] Shallot swallowing hard as she saw the Lupus start walking toward her. She tried to keep from visibly tensing up so she wouldn’t seem as threatening. Folding her wings into her back she turned to face him. As he approached her Shallot felt his eyes searching her whole body suddenly feeling more exposed then she had in her life. Flexing and relaxing her thick foreleg muscles to keep calm. When he spoke she knew he was suggesting something but since she had lived a loner from the time she was two to very recently she was completely inexperienced and unaware of the ways of men. ”A tasty morsel for the Don”? Is he going to eat me?
He came closer, far too close for the social-challenged Keiyou to handle. She tried to back away but to no avail, so she keep her body as stiff and as still as possible. She flinched as he brushed by her fur, it had been over a year since she had been touched by another wolf and the feeling was unpleasant and undesired coming from this particular wolf at this particular time. As he lightly bit her flank she let out an unintentional low growl. Ever piece of her heart was telling her to fight him, but every inch of her brain has churning out reasons not to[He’s a lupus so he’s faster than you, you can’t fly and that takes away a lot of your fighting ability, he’s the Alpha of an extremely dangerous pack and you’re on their lands] Somehow her brain managed to win the battle, something that on any other occasion probably wouldn’t be the case. Teeth clenched she replied
“And what kind of payment are you suggesting?” Not mentioning her name and hoping he would forget he asked. [/scrolly]

Scorch could almost taste the tension, the female's growl music to his ears and the words escaping tersely from her mouth a catalyst to the heat growing within his limbs. Fading into shadows he reappeared a split second later on her side, his muzzle precariously close to the keiyou's neck. Jaw parted to show his fangs he gave her throat but the briefest of nips as his fangs barely grazed the skin that held the precious blood and the vein that once severed could cause death. Scorch lightly licked this wound as well, teasing it with his tongue as a pure devilish look flickered in his eyes that remained poised on her face as he moved back into the darkness. From within the shadows he laughed, the deep sound running like silk through the jungle, smooth and strong there was a certain tinge of madness that bordered the edges of it. After all, at the moment he was not in his right mind as his thoughts ran darker and his logic murkier with every passing minute.
The specter that stood watch began to stalk back in forth in his excitement, watching the macabre dance between the 2 wolves as he licked his chops. "Get on with it won't you Socrchie, you'll let her escape at this pace!" the ghost snarled. Without words Scorch communicated,"Settle back done you ol' bag of bones, I am just having a bit of fun now, can't begrudge a fellow for that. This little dark rose needs to be tended to before being plucked." Walking back out from the darkness the king of the jungle snarled low, the sound ripping from his throat. He moved his shoulders while he walked, the muscles rippling with offensive under his pelt as small wrinkles marred his maw.
Glaring with a mocking smirk on his maw he noted menacingly, "You haven't given me your name little rose," he paused to growl slowly, taking an attacking position, "I hope you know what a terrible offense this is to the Don, not wise under your circumstances. I will say it but once more, give me your damn name!!!" The last came out as an order, the male's voice booming louder as a spark of anger flashed through his eyes. With a strong swipe of his paw he slashed through the earth, sending soft dirt flying. The Don did not have a very good temper, and was prone to rather vile fits of anger. Just as he could be a charmer, Scorch could also be a killer and this tendency towards violence followed the lupus throughout his past and into his future.
He began to slowly inch closer again, eyes roving over the Keiyou only to rise again and defiantly meet her eyes. While trying to hold her gaze he licked his maw, "Dear me, where are my manners, I guess I will have to make it up to you now won't it?" A wide grin spread across his face as a false air of concern cloaked his eyes like a thin veil. He came to stand inches away from the keiyou, leaning in to breathe the female's scent. It was not as much to his liking as his mate's, but thoughts of Tor were sadly shrouded by the tidbit of insanity that had hold of him. Taking a soothing voice that was almost apologetic he commented, "However could I possibly make up for such behavior dear rose?" He sighed melodramatically for emphasis at this last comment.
Stepping away he sat down as if to ponder the matter at hand, already decided on what he wanted from this wolf and how he would make up for his terrible behavior. His fluffy tail whisked back and forth as he gazed upwards as though to try an find a solution. He looked back as the female and gave her an apologetic look, slumping his shoulders as though in defeat. This little show went on but for a few minutes until Scorch grew tired of it, true to his word is was time to get on with what he craved.
Jumping up in a flash he wiped about and darted like an arrow at the keiyou, using his front paw to try and kick out her front legs and lead her into a kneel. The position was one that suited him, for it would leave his victim in a humiliating spot rather unable to defend themself. Leaning in he whispered darkly, "I know exactly what I can do to make up for it. Why don't I show you some good ol' Mafia courtesy?" Placing one paw over her shoulder he used his weight to pin her down, leaving her no room to move as he ran his tongue up her muzzle to lick at her ear, making in plainly obvious what he wanted and intended to do. "So whad'ya say pigeon? Know what I want now?" A deep chuckle of amusement ensued, ringing out in the small grove.

[scrolly:h(440), w(340),sy] Shallot flinched as Scorch slashed the ground, thankful that it wasn’t her neck that caught the sharp claws of the Lupus. Keeping her head as still and upright as possible, she stuttered slightly from the fear that was settling in her heart as she answered him. “M-my name is Shallot” Her voice betrayed the calm façade she was showing, reveling the anxiety and terror she felt inside. Her body started to shake just barely so it wasn’t visible but Shallot could feel it, and that frightened her more than anything. She wasn’t used to being scared and couldn’t think of a time when she was ever as terrified then she was now.
As the male’s gaze met Shallot’s she could see the malevolence flickering in his eyes. Even with her little knowledge of deception, Shallot knew the lupus was faking concern. Knowing so made her even more nervous. As he darted back and forth through the shadows Shallot tried to track where he was so she couldn’t be attacked from behind, but due her clumsy movement she lost him quickly each time he disappeared.
Shallot stopped searching for the wolf for a moment and felt her front legs get knocked out from under neither her. She rushed to try to stand only to feel the weight of the dark Lupus’s paw holding her down. She let out a low growl and turned her head to snap at Scorch, but to no avail. She remained stuck in the same disgraceful position.
“So whad'ya say pigeon? Know what I want now?"
“Yes” Came Shallot’s meek reply. In truth she still didn’t know what the male was going to do with her but she didn’t want to know what would happen if she said no. She squeezed her blue eyes shut and prepared herself for the worst. ________________________________________ OOC: Ahhh! Sorry it took so long! [/scrolly]

Shallot was his little dove's name? How lovely he thought, he had of course won that little power struggle, as he knew he would. And his little play time had certainly been entertaining but now there were more pressing needs at hand, the squirming of the conquered female below him reminding Scorch of these unfulfilled needs. Laughing at the simplicity of it all and the powerlessness of the female below him, the Don felt the old familiar surge of power rippled through his being, the surge of adrenaline like a long lost brother to his body. Barring his fangs he clamped his jaw solidly on the female's shoulder, teeth locking down hard enough to impale flesh and keep Shallot from escaping and then finally gaving into the darkness, a howl of conquest echoing from his chest through the jungle.
{fade to black}
When Scorch finished he felt like a new wolf, revived and revitalized he was back to being prime and satiated. In fact he did not know why he had waited so long. Shaking his gleaming pelt he rose off the female he had possessed with a smile of disturbing satisfaction. "Did I not say that mafia members know how to have a good time my little dove?" Piercing blue eyes openly mocked his victim, careless to the sentiments of wolves outside himself and his pack.
Frowning slightly, the realization that this female might become laden with pup from their venture dawned on him. This would not be acceptable for as Don to the mafia, illicit offspring of his might one day challenge his legitimate children for the title. A serious problem that would require rectification, and though he could very easily dispose of the she-wolf now he did not, and instead a dark look light his eyes as his gaze sliced through what was now the night to stab at Shallot. The more he thought about it the more he began to believe that in fact getting pregnant with the Don's bastard was what the female had wanted all along, and this gave him great cause for anger. Pacing in a stalking fashion he made sure to bloke the she-wolf's exits, flames beginning to lick through his fur. No, he would not kill the female, that would simply be too nice...
"I imagine you're happy now, this is what you wanted all along isn't it! That you should be so lucky to carry my bastard pup in your unworthy body, ahaha, that doesn't sit well with me little dove." Positively glaring with reproach he openly blamed the female for seducing him, conniving little wench he should have known! "But don't think that little fact escaped me, no dear Shallot, death would be too easy of a punishment for you. In fact, I will keep you as my prisoner, and you will serve as nanny to my children without question. Speak of this to anyone and I will kill you and the pup you may be so lucky to carry. Impudent wench, weaving your seduction where it should never be weaved, you will regret this!" The male let out a snarl of disgust, so many females that had laid down their charms for the male, and this had been no exception. Scorch would keep the female near, and should she birth a pup Scorch would dispose of it, nothing would threaten his reign, his children or his pack!

[scrolly:h(440), w(340),sy] Shallot’s body was shaking too hard to try to stand and she collapsed onto the jungle floor. The ground felt incredibly welcoming to the battered keiyou’s body. Please mama, papa if you’re up there make him let me go or kill me nowShe tried to move her paw closer to her body to protect herself but her body refused to obey her commands so she lay there limp, praying to wolves that no longer exist.
Shallot let her over occupied mind slip into a trace-like state. She was back in the canyon with her pack where felt safe and accepted. They all raised their heads as she walked into the Falach and smiled warmly to her. Shallot could have stayed in that delusion forever if not for the menacing presence standing over her.
Shallot’s ears twitched slightly at the sound of the Lupus’s cold voice sliced through her makeshift fantasyland. Wait, did he just say that I can become pregnant with his pup? But that’s not possible, I don’t love him! Is it? Can I really bare the pups of someone who I hate with such a burning passion? Is this how my mother became pregnant? Did she hate my father and then somehow fall in love with him after her pups were born? Mother, Father, Tennyson, Anna, if any of you are really watching over me don’t let this happen, please.
A droplet of salty water slid down Shallot’s bloody fur. Blinking back the rest of her tears, she pulled her paws underneath her still trembling body. Her head spun as she took a shaky step towards the malevolent Lupus. Her lips curled back as she let out a low growl.
“I would rather kill myself then harbor something with your blood in my body.” [/scrolly]

Scorch looked at the pitiful female laying on the ground, an impenetrable look on his face. She had wandered ever so near to his pack lands and all alone, for all the Don cared she was his and had chosen as much. Pleased and greatly prided with his prowess he knew all he would have to watch for was any signs that Shallot did indeed bear his bastard in her body and he would whisk her away deep within the jungle and out of sight until the pup was brought into the world. His initial idea had been to kill the mongrel, but perhaps a more just consequence would be to keep the pup and give its care to another female within his pack. Cold eyes narrowed, yes this might be a preferable plan, no doubt even a bastard child would have inherited some of his strength, and with proper instruction could learn to be a killer as well. The barest glint of a smile tugged at his maw, he would separate the mother from its pup as punishment and train it to be what Shallot would forever despise.
As Shallot got up the tiny grin turned into a malevolent smile of open mockery; she would have no choice in the matter. A demonic glint of open criminal intent flickered brightly in his blue eyes, he should have felt guilt, he should have felt reserves and he should have felt a tiny spark of empathy. But he did not. He was not ashamed of who he was, and a cold blooded king of the damned was his title, not to be taken lightly or for granted. It was not repentance he sought out now, only a clear cold way to clean up the mess. In fact he would have had it no other way and did not regret what might be to come, only that it would cause a slight bump in his life.
Sneering he snickered, the sound smooth and fluid like the poison from the jungle's deadlier plants it was alluring and fatal. "Oh I don't think you really have a choice in the matter fallen dove. You're linked with the mafia now, and whatever pup you may birth is rightfully mine. Don't think I will allow it any other way." Snarling he advanced, pitching himself against the shaky female and sending a hard blow of his paw to knock her back down. "You're a prisoner now, do well to remember your place!." Fire flared up through his fur, licking at the air and crackling in delight. The Don did not care much that he had beaten down an already broken wolf, respect was his and this little nudge had been but a small reminder. Moving forward he looked down at the winged wolf, open disgust on his face for what he saw through his grand thoughts of power and possession was weakness.
Fact was he could not abide by weakness, it was to be rectified and punished and those that could not be broken used to serve. Another chuckle rumbled in his chest and he thought, but usually they all break one way or another. Flaring up the flames that caressed his body and soul he moved forward, forcing Shallot to either move deeper into the jungle or face the fire. "You've got one grave choice here pet, either you get your sorry excuse for a carcass into that jungle and to work, or you can experience a heartfelt mafia farewell. Choice is yours lovely." Scorch did not care one way or the other for the game was his either way. Of course he was not totally uncaring and as a reward he was offering the female her life, fair was fair after all.

[scrolly:h(440), w(340),sy] The Lupus let out a snicker that chilled Shallot’s blood. "Oh I don't think you really have a choice in the matter fallen dove. You're linked with the mafia now, and whatever pup you may birth in rightfully mine.Don't think I will allow it any other way." Shallot froze, her piercing blue eyes widened in horror. Not only could she be forced to carry the blood of the one she loathed more than any other, she would have to let it be raised into his pack of cold-hearted criminals. The thought of her pup growing up to be as vicious as it’s father brought a new wave of hatred towards the pair of flickering blue eyes looking back at her.
The firm swipe of Scorch’s paw connected with left side of Shallot’s head, just below her ear. She has sent sprawling on the ground. The soft ground of the jungle floor and plant life stuck to the sticky blood on her fur, turning the dark red into an array of brown and green. She tried to get up to face her enemy again but her body refused to comply with her wish to stand. She squeezed her eyes closed in a last-ditch attempt to make herself believe it was all a dream.
She felt the heat of flames reach her dark fur before she even opened her eyes. The Lupus was standing in front of a wall of flames, he flashed a smile exposing his bright white teeth “ Choice is yours lovely.”Some choice, for a brief moment shallot considered walking into the inferno before her, It would be so simple. Finally, an end to the pain. No, that would be too easy for him, I’ll live and fight every chance I get, even if I have to resort to the tactics of his beloved criminals Shallot let out a soft growl and she turned towards the heart of the jungle, in her head she began her plot to escape as the darkness slowly swallowed the world around her. Perfect, I do believe this puts an end to this thread, the next step is applying for pup stats in the shop and then applying for a pup under the Pup board. We need to post both the Father and Mother stats. I will let you put the Mother stats up then I will reply with the Father stats though a shop thread must be put up first. Som
