The ideas that have been in my head. . . .

Alright so I guess it's my turn to post an idea/questions here.

So here it is. My stupid/stupendous idea:

What if we had traveler's bars/inns? Hear me out! It's not like a human thing, ok it's based human but it's not obviously since this site has never heard of a 'human' 'earthling' w/e. But we're a fantasy wolf RPG and I'd like to think that these wolves here are a bit more advanced (especially with powers and such) to make things like this possible. So I like list and I'll list out some selling points (feel free to shoot down the idea, add to it, or tweak it).

• The area is like a pit stops for wolves of ALL kind to stop and rest their feet. There it's an unspoken rule that pack bonds and loner/rouge bonds while in the area don't exist. Now we all know fights happen and well they'd end up getting kicked out w/o refund.
  
  
• Refund? Yes! (help me out with this one cause it'd be interesting to see what they'd barter). Like Caella bring treasure from under the oceans, kukkia bring different herbs and fruits(fermented fruit anyone? YES it happens I watched it on animal planet walking with prehistoric beasts. Of course it'd take a lot of berries/fruit to get drunk but it'd be fun to have them serve regardless), and ect. ect. I mean help me get creative on a way that the wolves can trade for an already made warm den and to be served food and fermented berries.
  
  
• The stay & den would be run by a tavern keeper and a few staff members. They'd all be rouges or members of the wolf community that would want to help run a stay & den? IDK, maybe a family of wolves who's dad wanted to be greedy and rich and open it but then the family just stayed around for a while and kept it going.
  
  
• The stay & den (I like calling it that now) would be just like a regular inn but with powers and such I'm sure the wolves have found a way to make it work for them. And it'd have to be by a body of water the wolves can drink from. IDK I think it would be fun but of course the staff have to approve and the members have to get involved. Still I think it would be interesting to have.
  

So that's my idea and now here is my question.....

How does the eternal youth power work? Does it extend the wolf's life greatly or does it just make them young until they die of regular age? Just a bit confused on how that works HAHA!

We do have certain fruits around the site that have intoxicating qualities. That is how Rey fathered two litters on the same night with out realizing it. You can read the thread here: Road to Bad Ideas fair warning there is some mature content in that one, I think some language

But yeah, so no need to convince us on that front, it is a really fun concept to play at. Especially when it turns into a pack party like that up there.

We have tried to have a system of currency on the site. One of the first concepts of the Mafia was that they would do jobs for treasures and things like that. However it never really unfolded that way because keeping track of exchanges are hard and wolves do not have pockets to carry stuff around.

As for a tavern like idea, it is an interesting concept, but there is not really a place where it could come to pass successfully. The best bet would be a neutral territory, but having 'owners' make that a moot point. I actually imagine any encampment that the Circus holds to be the closest thing to your concept. Neutral ground for people to hang out and chat.

I'm curious to know what other people think though.

Ok, I see. Well let's scratch the currency thing. Maybe it could be as long as you BYOM (bring your own meat) you're more than welcome to join in. I never really thought about looking at the plants! >.< herp derp moment on me.

I'd like other's thoughts too. It seems fun. But if no one is interested then there's no point

Maybe it's not really an 'owners' kind of thing, more like it was a family of wolves who decided to run it because they were travelers and realized things got so much more easier when they opened up a kind of place for wolves to get together. They more like manage it, collect the intoxicants, hunt small prey, keep things neat, and settle disputes. What if it was in the heart of of the pack lands? Just a general area where there's a lot of traffic?

Hmm, I'm liking the idea. Perhaps, its a big cave system with lots of 'dens' like they have in ant and rodent nests for the wolves to sleep in? And maybe the 'owners' are just friends, perhaps mates, and its a sort of shifty-"pack" idea, maybe with the best friend or eldest child inheriting the ownership next? Would be fun, really.... just throwing this out there.
