Laura stepped out into the cold weather. She shivered at the strong gusts of winds and tried to hold herself together. Even her thick pelt couldn't keep her completely warm. She lifted her antlers and looked out ahead. Her paws were numb and she couldn't even feel her oviform ears anymore. The ice had her sliding and she nearly chipped a tooth once. Oh but how the arctic was her home. She loved the numb feeling, the thrill when you slid, and the cool touch of the snow was all exhilarating. She bowed her head a bit to scrape of her nose. It tickled as her cold paws touched her nose. She nearly giggled but hushed when she realized she was more mature then that. She gently picked her way to the borders of the pack. Balkamir Yikaxy Empire was the pack of interest right now. She felt some pride swell up when she decided to join this pack. It had her kind of style. An arctic place was so interesting, coping with the cold, and blizzards. The other pack probably couldn't claim they could deal with such extreme temperatures which made her very proud. This was going to be the day she finally found the right pack.

The first few days of becoming Emperor would be usually welcomed. However as the large emerald brute limped across the snow covered earth, nothing but confusion and uncertainty clouded his thoughts. It was too soon. Far too soon to be his time. He had wanted to live first, and earn the right to take the Empire upon his broad shoulders. Alas things never turned out the way you wanted them too. And if it weren't for one asshole of a brute, things would be normal, waking up each day like every other day; beside his Momma. Do not mistake his affection toward the former Empress as a weakness, for what child did not love their mothers? That was probably the point right there. Cedrus was no longer a child. And the more he realized this fact, the more uneasy he became. In the heat of the moment, and the drawing of familiar blood did the young Yagi decide his fate. Retching the 'burden' from his mentally unstable father, and considerably weakened mother. Arkham had disappeared after that, muttering something about the prick that had savagely assaulted his mother. But this time Cedrus was not happy to see him leave. If anything, the adjusting Emperor wished him to be by his side. They had never really gotten along, but Cedrus had dreamed many a time of the moment he would take his place as Emperor. And his father was always there, fairly aged, but there and proud of his son. The soft clicking of teeth could be heard as Cedrus ground at his fangs, blinking fiercely to stop the onslaught of tears that threatened to reveal his conflicting emotions. There was barely anything left of the pack, and even less to support him. As the unrelenting cold bit at his green features, Cedrus contemplated the easy way out. Running. He could turn heel at this very moment, leaving his distraught family and broken pack behind him. The urge was there, but the will was not. He couldn't possibly shame his families name in that way. Maggie did. As his sister invaded his thoughts, Cedrus didn't know how much more he could take. What would it have been like if he ran away with her? Were would they be now? He had heard on the wind that Maggie no longer lived with the Knights, but lingered elsewhere. In truth he had heard nothing for a long time, and even more fear gripped at his aching heart. What if he had lost her too? Shaking his head to rid the endless stream of thoughts, ruby orbs caught something moving off into the distance. The Yagi froze, a new member perhaps? Maybe an intruder with more sinister intentions? Cedrus was in no shape to fend off such a situation, the recent tumble with his father had left him battered and bruised. If it weren't for Xiomara, the Empeoror couldn't fathom were he would be today. Laying frozen under a mountain of snow, dead body refusing to decompose under such cold conditions. Growling lowly to get his head straight, Cedrus advanced on the shady figure head and tail high. He knew all about being the top dog, but would he pull it off the first time round? "You there." He barked roughly, ruby optics keenly eyeing off the Yagi female. "State your business here." He did that part right, didn't he? He was sure his mother asked something along the lines of that. It was an opening for explanation, and that was exactly what the female will need to have to win over the suspicious Emperor before her.[/blockquote]

Table by Eldarwen Image · Image · Image[/sup]

Bellezza snapped up her head to look at the approaching wolf. Her eyes darted from the wolf to her paws, nervous for a second, she then hiked up her skirt and spoke up. "I'm Bellezza, I came in interest of joining the Balkamir Yikaxy Empire." Bellezza said with a quick dip of her head. She had solecism towards the alpha, feeling it was the respectful thing to do. Her eyes flitted around the alpha as she did not want to look him in the eye, afraid he might take that as a challenge. She gave him a one over to see he was a yagi himself. Most wolves stayed away from er, considering she had three spikes growing from each shoulder that were useful for defending herself and others.
Bellezza patiently waited for the wolf to answer, not daring to cross the border, her excitement lapping her stomach. Her eyes stayed looking at the alpha, but not to his eyes. Her mother had drilled into her that looking impolite would never get you into a new pack. She sat down and waited quietly, her patience starting to shorten, but she made no outward signs of such a thing. Bellezza sat her paws felt like ice bricks, because they were starting to freeze.
