Her hair ragged and dull now. Her unusual blue magenta eyes losing their sheen. Nepara trudged along the borders of the empire's lands. Maybe this wasn't where she belonged? The place she could keep warm near the geyser's and fly down the pine trees with her long stretchy form? She sat down as he elongated ears and tail stretched a meter or so. They laid limp in the chilly snow, she couldn't budge them back into the right length so she just let them be. She panted, her breath visible in front of her muzzle. Nepara held her head back towards the night's starry sky as she let out a low and solemn howl over the land. Hopefully it would call out to anyone from the empire lands, so that she would not simply disappear in the next blizzard. "Please, anyone near. Hear my call, for it is dreadfully important. I must speak with you at once." So she waited, laid out in the snow as the wind began to pick up and snow began to fall down on the little eremus.
