Name: Avalon Halwyn Caradoc Alias: Avalon, Av, Avvie Species: Lupus Gender: Female Age: Three Years
Pack: n/a Rank: Loner
P H Y S I C A L Height: 27'' Weight: 70 lbs
Appearance: Avalon, is a highly unusual specimen for a wolf. Her colouring, though it does follow some semblance of "normality", is quite the anomaly. Avalon's DNA has adapted to her environment. Thus, her appearance is such that not only does she blend in with the night, but also with the sea.
To begin with, Avalon is a small, lithe female. She lacks the obvious bulk that a male would have, and instead takes on a much more graceful appeal. Her body is streamlined and thin - it is clear to see that her talents lie not in the skill of fighting. Her legs legs and shoulders are considerably the most powerful part of her body, as they have been toned from running and swimming. The rest of her body though lacks the muscle that would aid her in a fight. Thus, her primary method of defense is her speed and agility. She's a decent huntress, especially in the sea.
Her fur is where it begins to get interesting. She lacks a sufficient undercoat, which makes it hard for her to tolerate winter climates, though her top coat is extremely thick, which adds some insulation to her petite body. Her fur is soft to the touch, but quite thick, especially under the top most layer.
Her base colour is a dark teal green, which covers her entire body. Overlaid on top of this is a darker shade of teal, which covers her body almost in a tribal fashion. It licks up her nose, down her back in a dorsal strip, and then down the fronts of each leg. Over top of both these colours is yet another one - a bright sea green which covers the tips of much of her fur. It extends down her back and tail, on her rump and the underside of her tail, her chest, and her groin. This brighter colour also adorns the inside of her ears, and forms a curled pattern around her eyes, almost like eyeliner. Each of her claws is painted in this same shade. One more peculiarity about her is the colour of her nose. Instead of being the stereotypical black colour, her nose is a rosy peach colour, which also is the same colour as her paw pads.
Her colouration helps her to blend in almost effortlessly when she's by the sea, which is generally the most common place she's found in. During the night is also when she can blend in best. Another oddity about Avalon is her eyes. They are such a light colour of blue that they appear almost white. Her eyes are lively, and bright, always inquisitive and sparked with interest. Her body is lucky to be void of any and all scars, save a few that are not noticeable due to her fur. Her voice is a bit grating, as it's got a high pitched quality. Despite this, her voice is rather musical, and she'll often add melody to her speech as she talks.

Strengths: Swimming Hunting Adventures Outgoing Optimism Agility
Weaknesses: Impulsiveness Lack of strength Size Decision making Dependent Naive Authority problems Neuroticism
Personality: Avalon's biggest personality trait is her sense of adventure. Not only does she like exploring, she is highly motivated to go out and search for things. Anytime she leaves pack grounds is an adventure for her, even if she's been to that place before. She makes any outing as exciting as she can, finding new ways to see the world around her. Thus, she is an inquisitive little femme with a very curious mind. She likes to know how things work, and if anything peaks her curiosity she will go right to the source to figure out what it is. This can get her into trouble though, as she tends to get herself into more trouble than she can handle.
A friendly wolfess at heart, Avalon is extremely outgoing. She has absolutely no trouble bouncing up to a stranger and introducing herself. Unfortunately for them, this usually involves her talking their ear off. She thrives in a highly populated area, and gets her boundless energy from being around other wolves. She doesn't like being by herself, and will often go out of her way to find other wolves to be with.
Potentially both a positive and negative trait, is the energy which Avalon possesses. She's like a child on a sugar rush, almost 90% of the time. She is pretty much always a hyper ball of bouncing fluff, which can be refreshing for some, but frustrating for others. She has a hard time taking wolves seriously, and tends to be rather silly herself at times. It is hard to find her at a time when she is being serious, though this, on rare occasions, can occur.
Avalon, despite her young age, is a very brave little female. She'll stand up to wolves who are visibly bigger and stronger than her is she thinks it's the right thing to do. This can also be seen as her stupidity and brashness though, but she's willing to put her neck on the line to protect those she loves. Generally her bravery is shown while 'protecting' her loved ones. In these situations, she doesn't hesitate to put herself in front of those she loves, and would probably give her own life in order to save them.
Unfortunately for those pessimists, Avalon is a complete and total optimist. She looks on the bright side of any situation, and is always the one to offer something light hearted to switch the mood of a situation. She doesn't like thinking negatively, and tries to get those around her to think positively.
Going to more the negative side of things, Avalon is a very sensitive wolf. She takes a lot of things personally, and has a hard time understanding why other wolves would dislike her. This could also be labeled as being 'emotional', but that is not how her sensitivity arises. Instead of falling into a blithering heap of tears, Avalon instead becomes very guarded of her emotions. She rarely shows any negative emotions, and bottles these up deep inside of her. One can only take so much of this though, and eventually she erupts in usually an uncontrollable rage.
Avalon also doesn't do too well with authority. She is rather rebellious, and will often do exactly the opposite of what you tell her not to do. She isn't purposely trying to be antagonizing, but instead trying to see how far she can push someone before they break. Plus, she finds rules and laws restricting, and likes her freedom.
Making decisions is not Avalon's strong suit - she'd much rather let other people make them for her. 'I don't know', 'Doesn't matter' and 'I don't care' are three phrases which make up most of her vocabulary. When she is pressured to make a decision she often stumbles over her words and will just stare with a blank expression until she either thinks of something, or the other wolf makes the decision for her.
Avalon is very naive and dependent. She doesn't understand the implications of some situations, and will barge head first into something without thinking twice. She knows almost nothing about love, and can be naive to the world of hurt and pain, merely because she hasn't really had much experience with it. She's also very dependent on other wolves, who she can sometimes use as a crutch when she's feeling upset. She usually attaches herself to another, and sticks by their side the majority of the time.
Lastly, Avalon has a tad of neuroticism. She gets stressed easily, and often takes things personally. Little things can irritate her, and she has a tendency to feel emotionally threatened by even the littlest of things. She gets very anxious in most situations.
Avalon, as all Lupus' do, has the ability to control an element. Her strengths lie in the ability to manipulate water. She's still learning how to use her abilities, and as of now can bring ground water to the surface, and slow the flow of it, but only for a few moments. As she develops her abilities, she'll begin to master them even more.
Avalon habitually fidgets. She has a hard time keeping still, and is constantly either playing with some small object, or moving from side to side. She also preens her fur, liking to keep it clean and free from debris. She has a few quirks too. She collects shiny objects, which she keeps in her 'nest', a small den made up of twigs and other such objects she has come across. She can be very protective of her treasures, and will only allow those she trusts implicitly to see them. Also when she gets upset she ruffles up her fur, which makes her appear much larger than she actually is. She also has a hard time with awkward pauses in conversation, so she fills that with making funny faces.
Among the things she likes are, water, swimming, fish, shellfish, friends, sparrows, shiny things, crunchy leaves, light rain, gentle breezes and adventures. Putting all this aside, Avalon dislikes mud, wolves being angry with her, authority, decisions, insects and the colour yellow. Why? She doesn't even know.
History: Avalon's history is not filled with tragedy, or murder, or anything of that sort. In fact, Avalon has lived quite a happy little life, and is under the impression that she will continue to do so. Her story begins with the tale of her parents, one she hardly knows of, except in mutterings between the adults, but either way, impacts her life, even if she doesn't realise it.
Her parents, Galahad and Agravain, were two wolves from two very different social classes. Agravain, the daughter of the alpha pair, was a beautiful and much sought after female. Her parents, the alphas, were intent on mating her to their Beta male, a betrothal that had been sanctified at her birth. This though, was not how Agravain intended to spend her life. The beta was older than she by almost five years, and she was not at all interested in him. Instead, she took a liking to her childhood friend, Galahad, the son of one of the warriors. The two were quick friends and did almost everything together.
Her parents were not at all pleased with this friendship, and as soon as they turned two, demoted Galahad's rank to Omega. Agravain, distraught that her beloved was now the ridicule of the pack, defied her parents wishes for her to be with the beta. When her parents found out, they exiled Galahad from the pack, chasing him off with their fastest wolves. A week later Agravain fled, following his trail until the two were reunited.
Life was fine for the couple, and they spent their days roaming around the land, trying to find a place to call their own. Their bliss though was ended when Agravain's parents caught up to her, taking her by force back to their pack and murdering the 'traitor', Galahad, before her eyes.
Agravain mourned the death of her love, and lost almost all her will to live. The only thing that kept her going was the knowledge that his pups now stirred in her womb. She was mated to the beta, Garuth, who believed the pups to be his own. Agravain told no one that they were in fact the progeny of Galahad.
Avalon and her brother Keary were born, though Agravain did birth another who was still born. Keary was named in memory of their true father, a name which meant 'Father's Dark Child', and Avalon, who she called her 'own little paradise'. Garuth was pleased, disregarding the fact that the pups shared none of his own qualities.
Avalon and Keary grew up together, and were extremely close. The two went almost everywhere together, and were loved unconditionally by their mother. They spent little time with their 'father', who was constantly planning out militaristic strategies in order for their pack to gain more land. After the death of the alphas, Agravain and Garuth took over the leadership of the pack. Keary and Avalon were looked after most of the time by the son of the newly appointed Betas, Ajouren, who delighted in caring for the two pups. They grew quickly, and loved their tutor, Avalon especially because of his love of swimming. Garuth didn't like the amount of time though that the older wolf spent with his daughter, and relieved Ajouren of his duties.
Avalon continued to spend her time with her brother, and would often sneak off to see Ajouren and go on adventures. It was on one adventure such as this that Avalon's life turned around. She still has a hard time understanding it now, and though she hasn't been told much about what really happened, she and her brother were both whisked away by Ajouren, leaving their homeland in search of a new one.
The reality of the situation was that Garuth, furious that the two pups were once again spending time with Ajouren, confronted Agravain. She, being fed up with his paranoia over them, finally admitted that the pups were not his, but in fact, Galahad's. Garuth, furious, decided to seek them out and kill them before her. Agravain got to Ajouren first though, asking him to take the pups away. Agreeing, he whisked the two out of site, crossing a river and hiding his scent. He left the two in a small, hidden cave, and went back to Agravain, only to witness Garuth tearing her jugular and wind pipe from her throat. Fleeing, he returned to the two youngsters, now each six months old, and began to move away from their pack.
Ajouren raised the two pups, never speaking a word of what actually happened to either of them. Avalon regarded this as the greatest adventure she had gone on, while Keary disliked being so far away from their parents. The three continued to journey together, until now. Separated in a freak blizzard, Avalon was on her own with no one of familiarity around herself.
She found herself wandering through the Shinkou Mountains, devoid of companionship, until bumping into another loner, Pyke, with whom she started a quick friendship. The two are now traveling together, Avalon still trying to find her sibling and friend.
