The setting sun was enacting the cove’s beauty, with the blue, pink, and purple hues in the sky. The grass was losing its autumn luster, and few birds where flying about. Rain clouds where forming overhead, cutting off some of the glorious sight. It was sprinkling making the water splash around, making annoying noises. The young Keiyou was flying towards the beautiful lights, stopping gently on a cliff. She took a deep breath, and started walking, towards some shelter. She closed her eyes, and sighed, she was shy but, she liked to have friends. Was something really wrong with her? It couldn’t have been a birth defect could it? No, Father would have told her by now what wrong with her by now. She rubbed her sore shoulder with her head. Not the prettiest sight everyone had seen. She looked up at her wet wings, flapping them, she got wet. She hated her wings getting wet, period. The rain was pouring by now, making the entrance be draped with rain drops; she stood up and walked to the back of the cave. She was freezing by now, but her guard hairs where offering little heat. She stared out making out rocks, grass, and roaring water. She hated it today, today should be the day no raining happened but nope!

“Perfect! Just perfect!” As he could always be found, Douvin the Yagi was trudging through the sloshing sands of the Yvit Cove. His eyes were squinted against the bullets of rain, and his body seemed much smaller as his fur hugged his form, heavy with the droplets attacking from above. His limp was barely evident as his whole body shook and struggled to get to shelter without falling. If the wet sand wasn’t slipping up through his digits, it was attempting to swallow his legs. “If Hell was of water, it would most certainly be this!”
Douvin had been enjoying his time at the Yvit Cove. He’d met some interesting creatures – and eaten some even stranger. He’d gained much knowledge in his lonely journey of the shores. His eyes had been opened to a different surrounding many Yagi weren’t shown. But right now, this storm, coupled with the spacious beach, was putting a down on his enjoyable adventure. He hadn’t expected much rain as the winter came in. As he crossed the mountains and moved through the prairies, he’d been hit with cold winds. There was no sign of incoming rain. Even earlier in the day, he hadn’t caught signal of any rain, it just hit! But weather was like that. And Douvin hated weather.
Retreating into a deep cave on the far banks of the cove, Douvin began to count his blessings. He could’ve been stuck looking for shelter for quite some time, especially with his vision. The old Yagi panted as he trotted inside the damp rock cavity, stopping as soon as he was far enough inside to shake himself off. He dropped his chest to the ground and stretched, dirty sand clinging to his stringy, brown, wet fur. Douvin looked out the fore of the cave to see a magnificent sunset of purple, pink and a steadily growing night blue. He hadn’t seen it in his hurry to get out the rain. “Well…” Douvin titled his head to the side. “At least there was one good thing that came of this.”
Turning to bed at the back of the tunnel, Douvin met a scent. “Hm?” Squinting his eyes, the elderly wolf could just barely make out a form poised at the end of the cave. When he got annoyed with his own fractured eyesight, he snapped, “Who are you? Come out where I can see you!”

Natsu has getting bored, so she checked her wings flapping them they were dry. Then a loud echoing voice interrupted her. “Um sorry but you should see me! Don’t boss me around!” This was the end of her line; this Yagi was bossing her around?! No way! Would she stand for it! Never! “I’m sorry if you’re blind, but I’m like a rock!” Her eyes getting wider with hatred “Don’t you dare boss me around! I’m not just for show ya know!” She noticed his horns; nothing was making her back down. Not even dying.
She stood even-eyed with him. “Stupid Yagi! Always getting into fight they Can’t win!” She laughed, and stuck her tongue out. “Going to cry to a big Yagi, and have him, beaten by a Keiyou Pathetic!” She smirked; she glided over to him, and pawed him with full force. Sadly her claws where out, and gliding over to his ear. “See Yagi are so useless, their blind. And can’t even fight, and if they do they fight worth crap.” She smirked again, and a deep feeling told her to stop, she stuck her tongue out once again.
She could see he was old, with enormous horns. And went back to her spot “Mad yet, Yagi?”

The figure pacing at the back of the cave stopped. From what Douvin could see (and smell), it was another wolf. But it had wings, wings that it shook vigorously, relieving the extra appendages of the weight of the rainwater.
“Um, sorry, but you should see me! Don’t boss me around!”
The Yagi was taken aback. “E-Excuse me?” For what reason what this wolf raising her voice at him for? He’d said nothing to offend them…yet. And how exactly was this creature to know of his visual capabilities? He was an old dog now, and if he told someone to step closer, they’d better listen. Another youth who didn’t respect their elders!
“I’m sorry if you’re blind, but I’m like a rock! Don’t you dare boss me around! I’m not just for show you know! Stupid Yagi! Always getting into a fight they can’t win!”
Douvin kept his eyes on the form at the back of the cave. Whoever this wolf was, they’d better have a good reason for talking to him like this. A shrill laugh echoed off the walls of the cove, invading Douvin’s ears. Ugh. He’d rather be bound, tied and gagged out in the rain than have to listen to any more of this.
“Going to cry to a big Yagi, and have him beaten by a Keiyou! Pathetic!”
Lost in his counting different ways to ignore the stranger, Douvin was caught completely off-guard as four claws pierced through the skin of his ear. With a snarl, his eyes finally focused on the other wolf in the cave. He wasn’t surprised. Female, young, sporting wings and eyes that didn’t even reflect the same amount of lights as his. She was probably as dim as the rocks being flushed around by the waves. She was obviously a Keiyou. He allowed her to continue, the proud smirk on his face helping to hide the anger boiling inside him.
“See? Yagi are so useless, they’re blind! And can’t even fight, and if they do they fight worth crap.”
Unafraid but certainly curious, Douvin readied himself for another scratching fit. Nothing came. With squinted eyes and troubled thoughts, Douvin watched as the Keiyou walked back into the shadows of the cave with only a showing of the tongue. “Mad yet, Yagi?” That was this stranger’s parting? She really was naïve.
"You talk too much, child." Crouching down to his belly then quickly springing up to leap in front of the Keiyou, their stench filling his nostrils. “And, no, to be honest I’ve never been more amused.” He could care less about how well he could see back here. Enraged, his other senses worked as well as they did back in his prime. “I’ll have you know that Yagi are the only species left with some sense around here. That said, if I tell you to do something, such as step out into the light where I can see you, you and your shrinking little brain had better heed me, understand?” Before his snickers could escalate into anything louder, he cut himself off. “Of course you don’t understand, you’re a Keiyou. Your heads are, pardon the expression if you can, always in the clouds, mmm?
“And why would you turn your back on another wolf you’ve just physically assaulted?” Stepping towards her, the smirk on Douvin’s face twisted into a wicked grin. His ears stood tall beside his massive horns. “Just like a filthy Keiyou. All bark and no bite!”
Douvin launched his whole mass forward, his powerful jaws aiming for the Keiyou’s leg.

The rain was lighting up, here and then, making a racket outside. The sun wasn’t out at all, or even trying to show, just black.
She was happy she had his blood on her. That mean she hit him. “Had enough?” she said in a sarcastic voice she smiled and continued on “Yagi pest.” She said smirking, a flapping her wings, making wind in the small cave. She was lost in her thoughts of the joys of flying. Open air, no running away to get away. Just lift off; and just the open sky just waiting, to be flown by a wonderful Keiyou, like herself.
She still wasn’t backing down, “You heard what I said Yagi! Don’t excuse me!” she spat, seeing his eyes focus on her was delightful, she was getting him mad! Her body shivered with excitement, this is what she had been waiting for! She hovered over to him, “Yagi, are so, so, so useless.” She said in his ear. She heard his remark.
"You talk too much, child."
“Hear yourself, old man!” She smirked “You talk Way too much.” He stood up to her; she puffed out her chest, rising to his level. “Wanna bet?” And, no, to be honest I’ve never been more amused.”
“Never? You must be really boring.” She smiled, and found a ledge glancing around the enormous cave.
“I’ll have you know that Yagi are the only species left with some sense around here. That said, if I tell you to do something, such as step out into the light where I can see you, you and your shrinking little brain had better heed me, understand?”
“Ya right Yagi, Keiyou has common sense too.” She caught up with her breathing, “Nah I love the dark, stupid Yagi, can’t see me. My brain is anything but small. You must be talking about yourself.” “Of course you don’t understand you’re a Keiyou. Your heads are, pardon the expression if you can, always in the clouds, mmm?
“What’s wrong with being a Keiyou? Nothing, Yagi is the only stupid one. My head ain’t in the clouds. It never is, Yagi are always in dirt. Not pardon the expression.”
“And why would you turn your back on another wolf you’ve just physically assaulted?”
“I can when I want to too.”
“Just like a filthy Keiyou. All bark and no bite!” “Say that again! I dare you!” She sprung at him baring teeth, and claws, she slashing at him, with paws her teeth, chomping away at his soft skin. “Later Yagi, there’s a reason Yagi starts with Y ‘Why you so ugly!” she laughed, and flew up to the ledge “Catch me now Yagi- ‘Or why you so ugly?’”
