She liked this place because it wasn't as thick as a true forest; she can see things properly due to its openness (especially now with the trees bare for winter) and its toleration of light. There were no secrets in this place and she liked it. But she wasn't here to sightsee, or at least not right now. The memories of the circus meeting only a day before lingered in her mind, especially the memory of Nelio. His strong body and handsome face didn't seek their way out of her mind and they didn't intend to. But why? Why did that specific image decide to stick in her head? What was so special about Leo? He was just another cael male. Raynor was just like him and she didn't think about the huge cael a lot.
She remembered their first meeting, Leo, not Raynor, and how she wanted to ask him about the odd emotion she was, and still is, feeling. It was practically impossible then but now? Perhaps her mindbreaking had developed enough with Leo... Right, she made a mind note of asking him the next time she sees him. Tortoiseshell did not even think about the possible awkwardness of the conversation. In fact she didn't know that this feeling was an infatuation. Everything about this was new to her. Sighing, she allowed her body to fall onto the dirt, under a bare, thin tree and looked around her. Now would be a great time to ask him. Except he wasn't here.

Love, love, love. Was that not the very thought that was in every wolf's mind? Just the single word love could bring shivers to rattle your bones. Love is also symbolized as many things such as a heart, affection for someone, a bond that is unbreakable, and possibly thousands of other things that may not be as gentle such as heartbreak, lovesickness, loneliness. However, these words usually go towards those that are without love or had lost love.
But this word, love, means a bit of all of that to this Ceal named Dreamith. She was head over paws for a particular handsome Ceal whom had blew her world apart and began to piece together a new one. Nelio. The name Nelio and the word love was constantly in the females mind. Since their last meeting, things had been put into a new perspective and everything seemed so much brighter. She was just so overwhelmed with happiness!
Dreamith was prancing lightly with her black-socked paws, making light dust clouds beneath and behind her. She dodged trees here and there and enjoyed the nice quiet. Though before, the silent would have been deafening her but in her happy mood it was as soft as the cool ground beneath her. She enjoyed it. Dreamith was also enjoying the fresh, cool, crisp air and scent of still living trees. But then a swift of another woke her from her daze.
She saw a wolf laying on the soft brown ground several yards in front of her. The scent of she-wolf fled to Dreamith's nose and she thought she could strike up a conversation with the wolf who had her back to Dreamith. She wagged her star blue tail and galloped to the wolf, making enough nose to scare off a bear. "Hello there!" She sang happily towards the other female with an up beat tone. Little did she know how hard it will be to converse with this wolf or what distractions will come her way.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]It had been an exhausting week for the brown and blue speckled Cael. Not only had his found his Dreamith again and declared his love for her, he had run into, and begun to talk to Tor, whom he had found he had extraordinary feelings for. He had also re-vamped the circus, chosen a place to perform and was now responsible with Tawny to make sure they were ready to travel. There was a lot of preparing to do, and while all he really wanted to do was curl up in his cave den with Dreamith and plan their little family together and future, he knew he had other obligations and responsibilities to attend to. He did make sure that whenever he woke up he had caught some fish for her breakfast, and had even managed to bring her a rabbit or two for lunch.
He knew traveling might be difficult for Dreamith, but he had faith that since they had both left their pack, she had done traveling of her own just as he had, and since they had seen each other last their bodies had grown just as much as their hearts. He had become more muscled instead of his lanky self, and she had filled out in a beautiful way as well. She was now a grown adult female, with all the attributes to make other males drool, he was wary of this while other wolves such as Crow and Raynor were around, and he knew he would have to keep himself in line when they traveled to other packs where other males could develop an interest in her as well. But for today, the Cove had sealed is worries away and washed them out to sea where they belonged. This morning after providing meals for his mate he had gone in search of other circus members to check in and see if they were ready for travel.
Tor was the first on his list of course, with Tawny as a close second, the females in his group were to be cared for first, but he would be lying if he thought he did not have an ulterior motive when it came to Tor. She was simply so beautiful, and so exuberant, some might think she was a little too young for him, but Lio could not help his attraction to the deaf wolf who had captured a piece of him. So into the forest he went, his now stronger legs allowing him to travel to much faster paces, thus further and further to the outreaches of the Cove. What passed for a forest in the Cove was actually just a small outcropping of trees, allowing just enough cover for one wolf, and no more to possibly catch prey, if they were even fast enough.
But Lio had already spotted his prey, he saw Tor’s pelt not too far up ahead, she was indeed so hard to miss. A perfect smile creased over his features as he made his way to her, he was going to be coming up on her side when he caught whiff of another unforgettable scent. That of Dreamith, and she was coming up behind Tor, and by the looks of it would probably give Tor a heart attack. So changing positions, he moved on to intercede his mate. Stepping up along side her he smiled and nuzzled her side gently, giving her a lick. “Dreamith, Tor is deaf….you might actually scare her by coming up from behind like this….Let me show you..” Being the gentle guide he was, he turned and came forward and diagonally to come up on Tor’s side from an angle where she could see him. The smile was back on his face and turned up to about a thousand watts.
When he came up to Tor he smiled and leaned in to nuzzle her as well, inhaling her scent, and seeing her pelt did indeed make him happy. She had been there when Dreamith had gone missing, just like Tawny and even though he had declared love for Dreamith it would not stop him from being affectionate and loving to the females who had come to his cause and aide when he had needed it. With his nose he pointed behind her to Dreamith who was still out of her sight. He had hoped by now he and Tor would have found a better way to communicate with each other, but he knew if his name had been hard, Dreamith’s would be impossible. Her name did not resemble any object or any constellation he or she would point out, so instead brushing against Tor he stepped in between the two females and smiled gently at them both. For some it may have been considered awkward but Lio could not have been happier.

Crow had vanished, presumably gone off to practice with Raynor, Tawny must had walked off, exploring perhaps, and for Leo, Tor guessed that he had decided to accompany his friend. Now that she knew that the two wolves were friends, her internal alarm had been switched off and she was able to smile around the golden wolf without faking it. She cringed at the thought of that silly jealousness. What was she jealous of? She didn't know. All it took was Nelio greeting Tawny harmlessly with just a nudge to provoke Tor. She didn't like the jealous feeling; it felt... odd, unpleasant and... She flicked her ears as if brushing the nagging thought off.
But it was hard. She preferred to think about the gruelling tasks the circus had ahead of her than of the brown cael but it won't happen. She was so utterly confused and lost in her own jumbling thoughts. Irritated with them, Tor shut her eyes tightly and everything went dark and safe. One by one her messy thoughts went away slowly and with the last drifting away she opened her eyes slowly. When her silver eyes were fully open she raised her head and allowed herself to take in the desolated scenery. Trees all around her were bare and skeletal, almost black against the grey cloudy sky. A squirrel darted in front of her to scuttle up a naked tree. The air was cool and crispy, indicating that the unavoidable was coming. Winter. She shivered at the thought of snow and ice. Snow would be a fun at first but it would be boring later on.
She started to think about what should she do during winter. Definitely with Crow, and probably with the circus... She ended the thought abruptly but it was too late. She was thinking about him again. Annoyed with herself, Tor hid her muzzle with her delicate paws when a scent hit her. She raised her head curiously only to see him. In flesh. After Leo greeted her she involuntarily squeaked and leapt to her paws and return the nuzzle. When she withdrew, another wolf, a female caught her eye and again the horrendous feeling kicked in. Tor frowned, wondering who was she, and her mind reached for Leo's. To her mild surprise it worked so they were connected! She glanced at him, a gaped smile stretched her lips; now they can communicate better. And she could ask him... But the presence of the female made her uneasy.
She saw Nelio moved to in between her and the stranger, looking elated. Tor looked disturbed; it was obvious that he knew this female. Soon all of the concerning thoughts started to swirled around in her mind; who was she? Why was she here? How did she know Leo? Why did she know him? And so forth. But as the thoughts began to settle into one question which she quickly relayed to the male cael through telepathy; who is she? It was rather straightforward of her; both asking about her behind her back and intruding into the mind of Leo. But she was feeling panicky so she had no time to think clearly otherwise she would do either actions with a little more more tact and her nervousness with all this was shown through an incessant twitching of her short tail.

The matured female watched as Nelio nuzzled into the other she wolf. It made her chest suddenly go tight for a moment and her heart even paused, almost threatening to not start up again. She watched as the female jumped up and smiled in such a way to him. For a moment, all Dreamith wanted to do was run. Run away from the whole situation and pretend she never saw the female and live the rest of her life happily with Nelio and the traveling pack that she hoped to soon meet. However, Dreamith knew better, was much more mature than that, and would never run away. She would be no coward to the situation. Especially since Nelio had warned her about giving out his heart to more than one female. Once remembering this, Dreamith settled down.
Her heart once again started to beat again at a slow pace and she exhaled slowly. It obviously wasn't certain that Nelio shared his love with this other wolf. Dreamith knew that this would come at some point in her life, she even knew she didn't have to worry about not being neglected by him for some other but for him to have found someone so quickly. Maybe someone before or during Dreamith knowing and being in love with Nelio. It was quite possible but she didn't like the possibility of it. It was slightly unsettling for the dear thing but she was strong enough and could handle the situation and this slightly knew found knowledge that she has just obtained. Dreamith slightly cleared her throat some and took a few unsettled steps forward.
There was suddenly something in the other females eyes that made her hesitate for a moment. Almost like jealousy or slight hate or hurt. She's jealous of me? She thought. This was kind of a slap in the face for Dreamith. She had been plenty jealous of other females but to have another female dislike her or was jealous of her was a completely different experience, almost like putting things in different perspective for her. Unlike her unusual perspective she had only moments ago, this one was more wise-up like and almost more mature. Again, more maturity and knowledge, by now, she wouldn't be surprised if she looked at her reflection in a waters surface and found herself old and gray. This thought made her chuckle some but only inwardly. Dreamith then put her focus to the situation at hand.
Her eyes focused back onto the female with slight rancor in her eyes. She turned to Nelio with a soft gaze and respectful smile. "What is her name Nelio?" Dreamith asked in a polite tone. She was not a wee bit angry with Nelio. He had been respectful and had come out with the truth and in return, she had to respect him for his bravery... and anyways, she couldn't loath that handsome charm he had captured. Dreamith turned toward the female and bowed her head slightly in an indication of respect to the stranger and then sat down on the cool, soft ground that seemed colder than it had been in her happy mood. What a difference it made. Though she may have looked quite comfortable, she could practically stand on the tension between the two females.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]Now for any other wolf this would be the scene from hell. On one hand there was Dreamith in all her mature beauty, she was still the wolf he had courted in the swamp but now, she had matured into a full grown, beautiful, romantic wolf who made him feel, so desired, and wanted. She also understood what was in his heart and had taken his truth to a whole new level of trust. For that he could never see his life without her. Ever. On the other hand here was the beautiful Tor, in all her glory. She was younger than Dreamith, or at least she looked younger than the other female, but their connection had taken Lio by surprise. They had gone from not knowing anything, and him stepping on her to a day of cuddling, fishing, racing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Lio was not the sort of male who would lie to either female, he had already been upfront and honest with Dreamith, and he supposed now, because of the situation he would have to do the same with Tor, and hope that her mind and heart could wrap around him as Dreamith’s did.
However, he was prepared for the idea that she could not be as open-minded as his now mate was. The air around them felt heavy, and tense even with the sweeping cool breezes rushing through the pathetic excuse for a forest. It made his fur bristle up instinctively trying to keep himself warm, winter water performances would be a test for any wolf. His eyes had seen Tor try to hide her eyes with her paws and his heart rate pulsed faster, sending warm blood all over his body. He could not possibly deny that he was attracted to the beautiful teal colored Cael female, it would have been a lie, and Lio simply did not have the time or energy to lie. When she had returned the nuzzle he had all but melted, it was a different reaction to Dreamith but he supposed it was no less intense, simply different. His interactions would never be the same with every female he met, Tawny was evidenced of that, she was like the best friend and sister he never had, and he knew he would lay down his life for the other brown Cael female.
He heard a female’s voice within his mind, asking a question no less and he lost the ability to keep his mouth open. He looked at Dreamith for a long moment, realizing that it must have been her, Dreamith would have told him if she had obtained a power like the ability to speak to someone’s mind. He managed to retain the ability to close his mouth and looked at Dreamith for a long moment before stating, ‘This is Dreamith, she is very special to me, I knew her back when I was a member of the pack in the swamp, I courted her there, and now she has returned to me.’ His eyes never showed any apology, but instead he continued to think his thoughts at Tor. ‘Dreamith understands my ability to love more than one wolf, and she has given me her love with this understanding, should I wish to have another female, or friends, or even fall in love with another, Dreamith will never leave my side, she loves me, just as Tawny does, but in a different way…’
He was not so sure he had explained it satisfactory enough for his own heart but he knew that just in those few sentences, Tor would either still care for him and want to be his friend, or she would hate him and avoid him completely. He knew there were very few middle reactions when it came to one wolf having more than one mate, and he could only guess what Dreamith was thinking or feeling right now having him so openly being affectionate with another female. But this would be a test, she had agreed to remain with him and love him knowing who and what he was, if she could not handle it, now would be the time to find out in it’s entirety. He watched as she stepped forward and he smiled at her, so reassuring, and oh so charming. In that one smile held a thousand licks, kisses and ‘I love yous..’ No Tor had not gotten close enough to Lio that he gave her the same smile, but the look he did give her was full of charm and appreciation for having her so close to him.
He could also see the look between the two females, and knew most likely in a short amount of time they would be directed at him, or at least one would be. When he saw the rancor in Dreamith’s eyes he snorted slightly and narrowed his eyes at her. It was a silent reproof, but while she was entitled to her feels, he would not let her get used to being completely rude and bitter and ill mannered. Especially not to his friend, and a member of his performing group. They all had to get along and hatred and malice between two females could easily rip a group apart, packs had separated over less. He cleared his throat and placed his eyes on Tor. “Her name, as she has told me, is Tor, and she is a member of the circus and entitled to respect. Not only that, but she has become close to me, and as such she is special to me, as you are. I hope for all our sakes, we can get along…” Although, he thought to himself, that might just go right out the window in the next few minutes. He watched Tor’s face for her reactions to not only looking at Dreamith, but hearing his words within her mind. He still stood between them, he doubted there would be any violence, especially since he had just chastised Dreamith, but he could also fend off a female…although two…would be something new for this charming male.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true] | [atrb=width,453,true][atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/nb525z.pngh][scrolly:h(173),w(453),sy] Everything went cold at the instant she laid her silver eyes on the other female. She had never experienced a true jealousy before, well, there was Tawny but it was corrected quickly. This was a pure, cold and strong sensation and its strength afraid the dainty, little cael. It felt as if its power was able to burst out of her slight frame and she grew afraid with each increasing power. What if she surrendered to it? What would happen to her? She looked at Leo almost helplessly; she wanted to beg him to save her from this fearsome envy and clear her mind again. Everything were so new and happening so fast. Why did it happen right now? What was special about the present? But Tor could see a kind of uncertain around the other cael, the female one, as if she was witnessing something she wasn't so sure about. Maybe this green cael wasn't alone with this and at this very moment she felt close to the female.
Dreamith. She was Dreamith and briefly Tor was relieved that she had Nelio to tell her this telepathically; she didn't like the thought of enduring another guess-the-name game. Her heart clenched slightly but painfully when he told her that they were close. Would Tor and him be that close? She would love to think so but it seemed unlikely with this female standing opposite her. But the next few words confused her: courted? Love in a different way? Love more? The confusion was clear on her innocent face; what were those words? But from what she could decipher, Leo was talking about closeness and something. She soon realised that he and she were close in a special way and this ached her in the chest. But in what special way? Tor didn't notice that this all confusion would make her appear more innocent. All of her life so far had consisted of having fun, eating and sleeping. She was still young, but with the little interaction with wolves before Crow made her more naive than she should be at her current age.
All she knew now was that this hurt her for some reason and she still cared about Leo. She did not want to ditch him just because he was close with other wolf. She could try and get close to him, right? To show her understanding (or the most of it), she walked up to the brown cael and looked up at his silver gaze solemnly. Any passing stranger would think this scene amusing but for Tor this was extremely serious. No matter what her feelings towards the female were her feelings for Leo were much more important. She wanted, no, needed to give him everything and she would have her own happiness in return. She tilted her head sideways to look at Dreamith, almost haughtily before prodding the other female's mate in the neck with her nose to show she accepted his views (even though she understood a little of it).
She took a few steps backwards and sat down. For him, she would try her hardest not to be hostile towards his... 'special' wolf. She blew through her mouth; this was tougher than she had anticipated. Tor, normally an extrovert wolf, now struggled to find any... suitable start to begin something. She just looked up at Dreamith and smiled at her emptily before turning her attention to Leo. She had wondered why he picked her and wanted to ask but she initially feared it might come out as rude. But now she knew this question didn't necessarily have to come out as rude; she was just plainly curious and meant no evil intent to her or anyone. So she asked him: why? Why her? with a strong undertone of curiosity.

Dreamith had never endured such pains in her heart like she was feeling at the moment. Tor's eyes that stared like daggers towards her and the almost growling smile she had received. Dreamith had never in her life been treated as such and shot her eyes quickly to the ground, though, glancing at Tor nuzzling into her mate's neck. She did not appreciate her weakness toward this younger wolf but she had not trained herself up to being looked down by another. She also dearly hoped that if Nelio was to also accepted Tor as a mate, she wouldn't have to battle for love and not feel so close to value of dirt. It was a feeling that she felt no wolf had to feel, and suddenly felt pity for omegas in stationary packs and was suddenly very thankful to be in the preforming pack that had no omegas to speak of and never will.
Dreamith closed her eyes for a moment and sucked in a painful and suddenly very cold breath and reopened her eyes. This was extremely difficult. Dreamith wasn't quite sure whether to let Tor smile happily to Nelio and feel like prey or stand up and show that she was and is first mate to the charming wolf, Nelio. She cleared her throat and raised her head from the lowered position it had previously been in. Her steely blue eyes looked between Nelio and Tor as they seemed to be concentrating on each other, as though speaking to each other without words. Her eyes narrowed slightly. That would be extremely handy if they could speak to each other. Now, if Tor and Dreamith were able to speak to each other, she wasn't at all sure if she would like to hear what she would say to her. She got up cautiously.
She walked little ways toward the two and stood a few feet away. Dreamith's ears went back slightly then forward and hoped that Tor... and maybe Nelio were watching as she bowed her head towards Tor deeply then turned to Nelio. "If you have some way of speaking to her... well at least better than me just mouthing... could you please tell her that I say it is a pleasure to meet her and I hope to get to know her well as a friend and that she will have a safe life while traveling with us... the circus." She didn't exactly know if that would help at all but she had to try. It would have been extremely disappointing for them to travel together for a long while and have such a tension between the two females. Especially if they were to both be mates to Nelio. Dreamith then hesitated but turned and walked back to her spot and stood there watching them with a habit of cocking her head to the one side slightly when trying to figure out what someone is thinking of her.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]Lio wished in that moment that he could read minds, he truly did. Not that both females weren’t projecting their emotions loudly enough that he couldn’t tell, but the ability would make his life much easier in the long run. He saw Tor look at him helplessly, almost begging for something, but she didn’t speak to him in that moment so all he could do was wag his tail slightly and dip his head under hers to left her face reassuringly, as he had done on the beach the day they had met. ‘I’m here for you Tor, regardless of anything else.’ Tor’s face was entirely too expressive most times, and it made Lio want to reach out and comfort her, reassure her in many ways that things would be alright. But he himself did not know if things would be alright, he couldn’t very well tell Tor how she should be feeling, or not feeling. He could only tell her things that she asked him, and even though her face portrayed confusion she again did not speak to him so he was left in the silence just as much as she.
When she came close to him and prodded her nose into his neck, his eyelids closed over half his eyes in happiness. It was not only her touch that made him happy, but the fact that she chose to come closer and still be next to him even after his explanation of who Dreamith was. He turned his head and pushed his nose into her neck in a returning act of affection, inhaling her scent deeply, and snuffling around her neck playfully. When she stepped back his eyes turned to Dreamith, and there was such happiness there, to have Dreamith next to him, and to finally be able to talk to Tor, it was more than he could have ever wished for, and he hoped his mate could see that. She and Tor were different, Tor being younger, and Dreamith having done so much growing since their time together in a pack. He could appreciate the differences but he knew each of them had a different path to walk, and that was what he found so beautiful about them.
It was then that he heard the female’s voice in his head, asking why her, why Dreamith? He turned his eyes from his mate and looked at Tor, his eyes blanked for a long moment, as he pondered how, or even if he could answer this question. He inhaled for a long moment and looked at Dreamith intensely for a long moment, his eyes full of love and shining brightly. ‘Tor…Dreamith is so many things to me this question is hard. Dreamith is beautiful, and she is smart, and she makes me laugh. We have a very good time when we are around each other, and during our time apart she has only matured and grown more lovely to me. I consider myself honored that she cares for me, and loves me enough to want to travel in the circus with me and the group, and honored that she would still love me even after being apart..’ His eyes remained on Tor’s for a long time, ‘Are you jealous? Because there is no need to be, Tor I care for you as well, and I find you beautiful, and we do laugh and have a good time, don’t we? I see you also care about Crow…..don’t you?’ His mind voice happened to get a little dark when he mentioned the Yagi that hung around her all the time, it seemed it was time for him to get some answers about what was happening with her just as much as she wanted them from him.
He turned to Dreamith, “There is no need to look down Dreamith, and there is no need for such animosity, you are my mate, and you know I love you.” His eyes filled with warmth as he looked at her, willing her to be strong and to stand in a position of self worth. He was not sure about telling her he could communicate with Tor through the minds but he figured she would find out eventually so he said, “Apparently she can hear my thoughts and ask my questions mentally, she asked me your name, and so I told her, it’s much easier than how she had to learn my name. I actually had to draw a constellation in the sand and mouth the name to her, and I had to read her mouth to find out her name..” He said this all with a matter of fact amusement and charm, and as she came closer to him he licked her cheek gently to show he was not by any means ignoring her, or devaluing her.
When he heard her tell him what to tell Tor he smiled and nuzzled her brightly, “That’s the grown up wolf I love, right there, with the biggest heart and the most lovely way of putting things.” He turned to Tor and thought, ‘ Dreamith says to tell you it is a pleasure to meet her and I hope to get to know her well as a friend and that she will have a safe life while traveling with us... the circus….I hope you feel the same way.’ When Dreamith went to step back a few feet he whined slightly. But he couldn’t very well expect them to stand not two feet away from each other, and under these kinds of circumstances. He made sure he was of equal distance from each of them, he didn’t step back, or stay close to either one for longer than the other. He was a great one to weigh things equally, and in his mind he and Dreamith had a little more history but he and Tor had gotten to know each other at such a…wonderful time in his life. He was…disinclined to let either of them hate him, or truly reject him.

Her innocent heart skipped a beat when she saw Leo happy. It was this very moment when she knew she would do absolutely anything to make this male happy. Tortoiseshell also realised that how much she meant to him. Whatever he said before she realised that he was happy to have her. Why? Was he afraid of her leaving him? Why would she do that? She felt deep in her heart that she would never do that in a million years; she valued his happiness too much. The little cael remembered back to their first meeting and how his disappointment and confusion hurt her. She giggled cheerfully when she felt his nudge in her neck but it ceased slowly when he withdrew to look at Dreamith. She tilted her head, a previous happiness still lingered on her mouth but only faintly.
No matter how much Leo had explained or how long she stared at her, Tor still could not get the reasons. The young cael inhaled slowly; she was beautiful, she was intelligent, she was lovely and didn't she and Leo have a good time? Her ears drooped slightly. She was everything Dreamith was and more! Again the unpleasant strong feeling came, growing inside her, threatening to engulf her whole. For some reason, she felt like hissing and spitting at the female opposite. Trying to tell her that Leo wasn't hers. She cringed at the impulse. It wasn't her. She started to tell herself that she was nice and she liked this female because she was a friend of Nelio. But nothing budged her intense jealousy.
The cael perked her ears forwards, her face held interest, when Leo quizzed her. Jealous? Was this feeling jealous? It must be because the next statement he told her that there was no need and that she was just as good as this female. She felt like pouting and huffing, she wanted to be bett... no, the best! Her unpleasant thoughts disappeared immediately when she detected... something shading Leo's thoughts when he mentioned Crow. Uncertainly, she nodded as a reply to his question. Of course, she cared about her yagi friend! They had been together almost every day and she could felt the bond between them growing closer with every passing day. Wait. Didn't Leo like Crow? She remembered at the day when they all met up for the circus planning. There was something between the two males on that day and remembered that she didn't like the feeling.
Was this just the same for Dreamith and her? She narrowed her silver eyes thoughtfully; it must be... Was he-- what was the word again? Oh, jealous? She looked back to the larger male and smiled, baring her young teeth. Crow was just her friend and images of them playing together, spending every carefree days they had laughing together crossed her mind. Then she sent them to Leo's mind along with her innocent feelings towards him, trying to show that there was nothing to worry about. But what was he worrying about? Was he worrying that Crow and her were close like Dreamith and Nelio? A bitter taste came to her mouth at the thought of the two wolves in front of her being together.
She inclined her head sideways and looked at a random tree pointedly, avoiding the soft gaze Leo gave Dreamith. Then she flattened her chin against her chest, looking down at her paws when she saw him moving towards the other female. Why did this hurt? No matter how much she seemed to understand Leo's explanation she was still confused with this swirling emotions and new words. Courting. Jealous. And love. Wasn't it for between friends and family? She shook her head; it was impossible for her to understand everything going on in this world no matter how much she wanted to try. She looked up at Leo and winced slightly at how close he was to her when he touched her mind.
Dreamith would be in the circus? She felt a stab of disappointment; the thoughts of her and him being together at all times, brushing Tor aside disturbed her. Would this happen? No! No, if she did something about it! She smiled but this time there was a noticeable lack of previous cheerfulness about it and nodded in a reply. She wanted to say something nice to impress this brown cael but her mind drew up a blank. So she still smiled at her and him.

OOC: I love your new table and lengthy post! x3
Dreamith drifted in her mind for a single moment to when she first met Nelio. The poor wolf was minding his own business and so was the frog she jumped and missed and ended up hitting Nelio. She was ever so glad that she caught the charming male instead of the wart-filled, green ball of slime frog. She was a childish and fool of a young ceal lady. But man did Nelio sweep her off her feet, the first time she saw him smile and heard his laughter, it was as if she had been in some perfect dream, and a perfect dream he still is to her! But if he really was a dream, she wanted to never awake, if she were awake, she better go to sleep and wake up with him close by! Dreamith could not think of a better male to be a father to her future children and to be as lovely and wonderful as he was.
Her mind jumped back to the present slightly and seeing Tor was like a slap in the face. It hurt a little less to see the two together, for when he spoke that he would always love Dreamith, it always made her feel better. Now, the more she realized it, the more she felt confident and knew she was not lower than this younger. After all, if Tor really was to be his other mate, if Dreamith and Tor still didn't get along, who knows what the female would do to her pups, she had no idea what the other female would do since she held no knowledge to her personality or have known her at all except for the very little that Nelio had told her, thus, basically including her name. Dreamith sighed inwardly, she felt that this would more than likely be a long, and hard relationship between the two females. It would probably be also difficult for a while not try to be competitive over his love but Dreamith knew better than to do that. She need not to battle for his affection.
Dreamith didn't feel like saying anything more that was nice or anything to the female because there was nothing else to say other than what she had previously said to the female which seemed to be indifferent to her if she had said nothing at all. More than likely, nothing she could say would make Tor feel any better about her. Time and patience was probably the only thing that could create any non negative relationship between the two female ceals. But it would probably be a while till that happens and more than likely, they both would feel like the other was the second female to themselves. Dreamith still had an intense urge to nip at Tor and nuzzle Nelio but she knew that would be inappropriate. She also couldn't blame Nelio for this troubling scenario for she was the one who accepted him to be her mate and vice versa, plus, no one said that this would be easy. If it was, she would think the least of it! More than likely though, she could feel that Tor was having a bit more trouble than she was at controlling what Dreamith knew she herself had strongly, jealousy.
Dreamith looked at her mate's coat, how it shined in any light made her absolutely swoon and dazed her. She couldn't help but walk up to him and nuzzle slightly into his neck and shoulder. His smell made her calm and gave her such an overwhelming happiness and calmness that she knew she would never live without after she had met him. She wasn't thinking at this moment, that was for sure. Even if she had been thinking about Tor seeing them, she could care less. If the other female was going to be Nelio's mate as well as Dreamith, she would have to get use to Dreamith cuddling up with Nelio and being ever so close. If Tor couldn't handle it, she might as well walk away now. She backed off a few inches and stood at his side more content and brave looking, she well and without trouble that if Tor didn't like seeing this, then too bad for her. She wasn't exactly in the snarling, bitchy mood but she was in the mood of 'share with me or back off' kind of mood. A mood that she had developed without her noticing much in her actual mind and thoughts but it showed up well. After a moment Dreamith stared at Tor with her light blue eyes and spoke in her mind, even if Tor couldn't hear her at all. "Tor, I am first mate to Nelio. I am not here to battle over his overwhelming affection. Do not hate me." Her eyes softened at Tor and she then looked to Nelio, who will never hear those words come out of her mouth.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd]((Sorry in advance, it’s gonna be crappy, on new meds which make me pass out each time I take them))
Lio was not completely unaware of his effect on females, no male was that completely oblivious. Even male puppies knew that certain actions afforded them with milk, affection and love, in most cases any way. There were the occasional sociopaths out there, luckily he had no had any run ins with them. He could see in both females that they were truly trying, and not for each other, but they were trying for him. Each of them were trying to display their best faces so that he would not show any disappointment or irritation or anger towards either of them. He could see in both their eyes that they each wanted their alone time, and they each wanted to know they were special. Had Lio been any other wolf he would have been satisfied with one mate, and one wolf, and that by default would have been Dreamith because he courted her first. But in a time period where he honestly thought he would lose Dreamith and everything else, he had found Tor, and she had comforted and grabbed his heart strings, it could not be helped.
He could feel rather than see Tor bristling up from the inside out and no matter how much she tried to smile and be nice Lio could see it never reached her eyes. Within his head he spoke to Tor, ‘Tor do you know how special you are to me? How that day when I met you I was mesmerized by your pelt glinting off the water and how beautiful you are? Or how I was amazed at your speed when you raced me? Or how saddened and completely distraught I was by the thought that I may have never learned your name? All those things are so different than things with Dreamith, and….you were whom I would have chosen as a mate Tor. I thought Dreamith was gone, just like the rest of the pack I left, it was a surprise to me as I am sure it was to her we found each other again, I could not bear to lose her ever again. Just like the idea of you leaving me tears me heart open, differently but it still feels as though part of me might die if you left me Tor, can you see that?’ It was then she nodded that she cared for Crow, and Lio’s entire face went rather dark and upset, it was as though he could share Tor’s emotions about Dreamith, because it was how he felt about the doofy looking Yagi that could never be separated from the female he wished to possess.
He snorted slightly and thought intensely. ‘I have no idea what you see in that male, I would be ten times bett….’ The thought ended abruptly as Lio tried to calm himself, lightly shaking his head to try to ward off the intense feeling he had to attempt to drown the male with his horns and enormous body. He couldn’t even swim in deep water, let alone do all the things Lio could do with Tor, he simply did not understand, in general he did not understand mating outside of their own kind but he could hardly bear the idea of a female he cared about doing it. He received the images and an innocent feeling from the female he cared about, and relief was sent through their channel of communication….but that feeling lingered, he knew exactly how easy it was for innocence to be tainted, especially by a ‘friend’ who just happened to get too close, and be able to take advantage when the right moment came along. Lio tried to shut his mind down, unable to deal with his own scenarios playing out through his mind.
In a motion to make peace, and since the three of them were close enough to do it, he stretched his tail out and entwined it as best he could with Tor’s legs, gently wagging to brush against her to give her the comfort of his touch. His eyes stayed on Tor for a long moment before going to Dreamith. They were indeed two different females, Tor he knew would have a hard time comprehending this situation but Dreamith, had listened, accepted and still loved him just as much as when they had first met, and he could never replace her, would never replace her. She knew just how to act around Lio, how much love and affection to give and he appreciated her more by the minute. He snuffled into her fur and sighed in contentment. Having Dreamith so close did him good, he could still comfort and look at Tor, and communicate with her, but his mate did not need to be left out and feel as anything less than what she was.
So there they sat, three wolves in small excuse for a forest, one beautifully teal, almost matching the ocean, another brown with enough flecks of blue to sparkle in the sun, and yet a third, completely different, and a fluffiness he could not live without. It was truly a triangle of love of epic proportions. He looked into Dreamith’s eyes as she stared at Tor for a long moment, and wished he had the power the read other’s mind, oh how he wished he could invade on that territory. However, he had already asked enough of Dreamith, it would be crossing the line to ask her to give up her privacy and all her thoughts to him as well. Instead he smiled at her, and inhaled her scent, her wonderful scent, mixed with his own, just like mates should be, and turned to Tor, where his tail still remained, gently brushing against her legs, having never forgot her. His voice rang out into the air, asking Dreamith, “Can we all get along to be able to do the circus?” At the same time he thought the same thought to Tor so she could give him an answer as he stared into her eyes, his eyes seemed to shine with joy as her sight filled his eyes, as though he could remember the way she looked at this moment, as though they were alone in this forest.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,466,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h448/soarly/Wonderwhy/Tables/Tortable2.png]With their first eye-contact Tor knew she would do absolutely anything for Leo but she did not know if she could share him with his mate. What if he came to the conclusion of Dreamith being better than her? What if he got tired of seeing Tor's same face at all times? She gazed upon the sweet face of the white cael and her innocent beauty ached her heart; now it seemed unlikely that Leo would pick her over his mate. She peered down at her pale muzzle and wrinkled lightly. The other female had a pure white fur that seemed as downy as a duckling's feathers. This female, on the other hand, had green fur that appeared short and wiry. More coarse compared to the other's fur. Self-consciously she rubbed her left paw down her right ankle. Tor was feeling quite ugly while in this female's presence.
She stiffened when Dreamith moved closer to Leo. She stayed in that tensed position before finally taking a step or two backwards, feeling threatened. Dreamith appeared so confident with her place next to the male cael, appeared quite unshaken by Tor's appearance. It was this very moment when she knew that the two females could not be friends. There were too much tension and rivalry between those two. She started when she felt a presence in her mind, blinking back to the brown cael and saw a steady expression on his handsome face. That look had calmed her frantic, overly-jealous mood. The thought of her and Leo had a deeper connection that Dreamith and him would never have pleased her. They might be mates but she would never feel the comforting, strong presence of Nelio's mind. She felt like smirking at this; he was hers in this way and Dreamith could not take this connection away.
She 'listened' to his words and her grin grew wider with each words. She swooned a little when he praised her beauty and speed. She pushed her ears forwards he admitted that he felt disappointed when he failed to get her name at first. Then her silver eyes flew wide open. He would pick her? His reason of taking Dreamith back after her disappearance sounds just right enough. She knew she would do exactly the same. But what had baffled her was why Dreamith left him. She forwarded the thought but a little less accusingly than she would intend. Tor noticed, with a dark satisfaction, Leo's face fell a bit when she showed that she cared about her yagi friend. This showed that he wanted her as well. Showed that he shared her envious feelings she harboured for Dreamith but for Crow. But at same time she felt a little uneasy; she did not want any uncomfortable gap between two boys she loved.
She felt a strong mixture of both pleasure and uneasiness when he exclaimed his thoughts he had for her and the yagi's relationship. She shook her head; she knew Leo would be better than Crow but she loved him equally but as friend. The green cael pushed all of the innocent feelings she had for Crow into Leo's mind, insisting that there was nothing between them two after she noticed how uneasy he still looked. If that wasn't enough for him, she moved closer to him and felt his tail around her leg. She made a some sort of a purring sound at his gentle touch and smiled at his soft gaze. She shouldn't feel so threatened; it was obvious that Leo liked her and did not want to lose her. She moved even closer, wanting to feel their pelts brushing so close together. But this closeness wavered as she moved a little away from him when she saw him gave Dreamith a loving attention, but close enough to still feel his tail around her leg.
She could feel Dreamith's eyes on her but she pointedly ignored her, still staring up at Leo's handsome face and strong body. She did not want to see any of love and beauty in her eyes. She was secured enough just for now so therefore she did not want that to shatter by her... her face. Her pelt tingled when Leo turned to meet her eyes again and she felt his mind on hers. Her tail wagged vigorously when she saw a such joy in his silver eyes. The wagging did not falter even when she was hesitant with her reply. After a long moment she nodded. As long as she won't hog all of his attention, she thought to herself.

Dreamith looked at her mate when he had asked her if we would get along to do the curious. For a split second, her insides boiled and she felt like giving out an ear full. Had she not been trying her best to let Tor accept Dreamith being Nelio's first mate and try to get along with her? What is not good enough? In an instant, the hateful feeling disappeared and she was able to calm herself. It was a simple question Dreamith, don't get so worked up about it... She said to herself in her head. "I certainly hope we can Nelio... for the good of the circus... for the good of us." She said softly to the male.
She sighed inwardly to herself. Nelio had made a point in a way. How could Tor and Dreamith work together and help Nelio make the Circus successful if they keep bickering and keeping this tension between each other. Dreamith was honesty trying to lessen this problem but Tor seemed to childish and ignorant to try and help solve for a solution. What could possibly be accomplished with this sort of loath going back and forth to the two female Ceals. But what Dreamith was most afraid of, was that Tor would never listen to Dreamith and drag everything Nelio had accomplished to the ground. But right now, she doubted the teal female would even look at her. In a way, it was pissing Dreamith off.
As Dreamith looked into Tor who was gazing up at her mate, she could easily spot the greed in her innocent eyes. It suddenly very confused Dreamith. How could eyes filled with greed, jealousy, and all that still look so innocent? Maybe it was her youth, her lack of age compared to herself. What ever it was, it was somehow still there beneath all the things Tor was accidentally covering with it. Dreamith can now spot more clearly why Nelio also fell in love with her. Her fur was a pretty ocean green for one, she was young, innocent, and if Tor were ever to be nice to her, she was sure that they could be great friends. However, the more she thought about it, the more she thought it would take a long time for Tor to gain any respect or cool off and strip her jealousy before ever trying to make an alliance between her and Dreamith.
Dreamith longed for a way to get through to Tor. They did have similarities, including the innocence Dreamith use to have when she was smaller. But the question was if Tor would ever accept that. There was a large possiblity that she wont, seeing as to how she acts to her at the present time. Then again, the present time could change in a matter of moments. Plus, Dreamith has never met Tor before, she hardly knew her, thus leaving no room for Dreamith to judge her personality just because of the current situation. Once again, it could change in mere seconds. She then began to wonder if there was any way she could better find about Tor and solve this drama Tor was creating between the three Ceals. Yes, the drama that very much includes the oh-so handsome Nelio. He was after all the male Dreamith and Tor were kind of fighting over... and in a very childish way they were fighting in Dreamith might have added.
Dreamith turned to Nelio. She gazed at his awesome and charming appearance. She saw few things within him and all about him. She saw her mate who she was so lucky to get. Dreamith saw the man she had met in the swamp and fell in love with that wonderful day. And also saw the father of her future children. Dreamith smiled some because she knew that her love would be a wonderful father and she knew he certainly will be. There is absolutely no getting around it. There was then suddenly a sharp pain in her chest. Nelio could very well be also future father to Tor's pups. Somehow this hurt her. Maybe she just hadn't completely gotten over the more than one mate thing. She after all was raised to the one mate per wolf rule. If it could be considered a rule at all. A few moments later, the pain in her heart dulled and she could breath normally again. She wished it didn't hurt so much... to think about her mate having another mate other than herself... laughing, living, and loving with each other as well as herself. That is if Tor would knock off her greed.
Dreamith leaned into Nelio slightly. These options, the situations, all running through her head at once was starting to give her a headache and even weighing heavily onto her shoulders and mind. All she wanted to do was be wither he amazing mate. Why couldn't she have that? Well yes she certainly had her mate but Tor was complicating things to a breakable state. Not breakable between Nelio and Dreamith but between the wolves and the circus. That was the last thing Dreamith would ever want, that would be crushing Nelio's dream and that was almost as bad as keeping him caged up and never let out to see the sun and moon or swim through great bodies of water. What a Ceal nightmare that would be. Would Tor ever be able to understand that? Understand that she could very well mess up all that Nelio had worked so hard to accomplish. Dreamith doubted it. Dreamith scowled at herself some. Maybe her mind was just rambling to badly, maybe just finding the worst cases that could happen. But it was a fear she had after all. How could she help but not worry for this? She wished that things would be so much more simple and clearer, however, that was not and will not ever be possible. At least, not for her.
Occ: Sorry, a lot of this is just rambling to make a long post. >.<

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [bg=00c5cd] Lio was taking his time, paying each female a fair amount of attention, switching back and forth seemingly, and keeping in physical contact with them both. During his time with Dreamith, his eyes stared into hers, and he smiled lovingly at her, but then he had to turn to Tor, but he did not look as though it was torture to leave Dreamith’s visage, because it wasn’t. She was his, no matter if he took another mate, and he knew she loved him, having that knowledge afforded Lio freedom and made him love her more than she could possibly know. Turning to Tor, he noticed she seemed to have wrinkled her nose, and seemed uncomfortable. He also noted that her eyes were not on him but his mate, and intuitively he turned his head at her and smiled. Within his mind he spoke softly, ‘Tor you don’t even know how absolutely wonderful I find you. How beautiful, you remind me of the ocean, which I love above anything else, without it I would die. Your very nature makes me want to howl with delight Tor, you never have to feel like anything less with me because to me you could never be anymore perfect than you already are…” The steady thrum of his heartbeat filled his mind and he listened to hers through her own mind in the background of thoughts.
The teal female was so very important, she was the most recent connection to his heart, and because their communication was done in such a person manner he could not help but feel delighted with her very presence. Their communication was private, secret, he did not have to ever worry about whispering or pulling her aside to speak. When they were connected like this he felt as though he could not possibly care about Tor more than he already did. The idea that he would ever have to live without her was not something he was willing to bear, and in a moment of sheer sadness he flooded her mind with the emotions he would have if she ever left him permanently, never to return. His soul felt as though a piece of it would never recover, his heart would forever bleed for her, and even though he had Dreamith she could never truly replace the teal wolf he was staring at right now. He needed to let her know that, to try to calm her anxiety and insecurities. He felt her thought asking why Dreamith had left him and his own face became slightly confused, wondering how to answer that question. ‘I don’t honestly know Tor….I looked through the pack lands before I made the choice to leave and come to the Cove and I never found her. I can’t speak for her reasons as to why she up and left, maybe she felt like she needed to grow on her own and do things away from me. When I met her here she has grown, she has become an older female, and more wise than she was before, I could never deny her the experience that made her this way..’
When she came closer and brushed their pelts against one another, his eyes closed, and the thoughts that ran through his own head were a little less than innocent. He couldn’t help it, being male and all, and if no one thought that was an excuse well, in this particular case it was evident. The sound of her purring opened up his eyes to look down on her and he smiled, and his mind filled with an almost overwhelming emotion that went barreling down their connection to smash into her, it was a combination of breath-shattering, heart pulsing desire, and love. He was not only infatuated with Tor, he loved her, and he wanted her to know it, the fact that she was touching him had only increased the overall intensity of it, and he was perfected contented that she remained close to his, his tail curling around her tighter, as if to say, ‘don’t back up, I want you closer.’ He took in a deep outward breath watching Tor very closely for her reaction to what he had just given her. At this point they had both agreed to behave themselves for the good of the circus, which he intended to move within the next two weeks, he assumed everyone was as ready as they could possibly be, and he could not delay much further, they would already run into ice and hard times, he needed to take them somewhere where they knew they would be accepted, at least through the hardest part of winter.
When Tor looked as though she was confident enough and contented with him he gave her a very loving lick to the side of her face and continued to be close enough to touch her but his eyes did slide over to his mate. Her soft words, not only included the circus but for the good of them as well, it was something by far he had no expected from her, perhaps when they were alone but for her to say it here with another female present made him look at his mate in a very scrutinizing manner. “Where has this mature, beautiful wolf come from Dreamith? From the young female who tried to tackle me into the water for a frog, to the female I see before me….when did it happen Dreamith?” The look on his faced was handsomely perturbed as he watched and scanned her face for a reaction and an answer, what had happened in her time without him that had changed her so, and to be so perfect for him in so many ways, it nearly clenched his heart. He knew his mate was battling within herself so very much and the fact that she managed to stay a mature, giving, compassionate female endeared her to him, it was just something that he could never throw away, she was something most other females were not, and even if it only came from loving him, she was still the epitome of a loving mate who worked perfectly for Lio.
At this point in time he had spent a good part of the afternoon with two females with whom he cared about very much. They had each shown an interesting side of themselves to him, and it was not something he would ever forget. He knew that soon he would need to spend private time with Tor, as he had with Dreamith, and he also had to track down Tawny and find his sister to prepare her for the circus leaving, along with Crow…or maybe he would let Tor tell Crow since he found the Yagi to be rather unpleasant to be around. Although in his mind lay a devious thought of eventually provoking the Yagi into an action performance or something, who could help it if a large Yagi drowned accidentally…His eyes drifted to Tor, and he knew the thought had been slightly immature of him to even entertain, and by killing Crow accidentally or purposely he would hurt her, which was something he had not intentions of doing, not…purposely anyway. He pushed his muzzle under Dreamith’s face and nuzzled her, while his tail continued to brush against Tor and sat there, looking out over the sun as it made it’s descent into sunset….
