The sun leaked through the thick branches of the high mangrove trees, failing to touch the ground more than as spot or two. The breeze was slight and nippy, but cool.
She stood on a thick branch high and mighty, with both of her tails swaying in the distance; and her chest puffed out, and then she laughed this pretending to be all high and mighty. She curled into a ball the branch creaked and croaked, and caved in. The pieces going into her sides sticking out like a tree, “Ow,” Her instinct was to put her paws up to the scars so she did. Something glowed beneath her paws and she felt whole but tired, she cleared herself a spot and fell in exhaustion. She awoke not as tired, as before, her heavy eyelids opened, her tails where barley moving. A horrible sign she lifted herself up from her wooden tomb, and jumped this wasn’t the day for irritating her. She found a bluebird tweeting nearby, and pounced. Her weight just killed it and she ate hurriedly, licking her small dainty black paws. She looked up and caught a ray of sunlight in her eye. She fell in the spot, making her coat glimmer. (Occ: twitter joke!)

Hermes picked his way through the swamp, grumbling.
Mud, mud, mud!
It was getting all over his beautiful black fur! He shook his paws delicately, running his tongue over the delicate yellow butterfly wings on his heels. Pulling a face, the elegant hybrid spat out the foul mud.
How awful! Somebody as amazing as him shouldn't have to deal with all this muck! He peered around, green eyes searching for somewhere safe and dry to stand.
A faint glimmer shone in the distance, and he turned towards it. Another wolf! How wonderful! Where there were wolves, there was dry land!
Hermes sludged towards the other wolf, throwing himself onto the dry patch of earth.
"Excuse me a moment," he said, then set about cleaning the mud from himself vigorously. That done, he turned to study the other wolf. A lyxxus, apparently, and female, from the look. Instantly, Hermes stood, sweeping a bow.
"My lady, I am very sorry to have brushed you aside like that!" he apologized, "I just couldn't face you in that horrible state!" he slid in closer, "Beauty such as your own deserves only the best face." he offered his most winning smile. Charm was his specialty, and he turned it all the way up on this one, "I saw your fur glittering from a distance, and thought I had stumbled upon a goddess. Tell me, lady, are you sent from the Great Spirits simply to lead me from this murky land?"

She lay with her head on her paws before being interrupted by a hybrid. She noticed him rubbing beside her, she heard an apology, and “It is okay, no harm done, sir?” She paused and noticed how he got up to bow. “Yes, it is fine no need-” He cut her off. She stood up licking her tails, and turning to the male, her tails sparked up as if somebody horribly cruel killed someone else. If that’s how he wanted it this is how it was going down. She lifted herself and her tail swooping in front of his face, while he was speaking, she brushed on him. He got closer; she scooted farther away, tempting him more. And an award winning smile crept upon him, Beautiful goddess, and nice name for a beautiful Lyxxi like herself. “Well, well, Sir? I haven’t had the pleasure of knowing your name yet.” She fluttered her eyes, and smiled. “I don’t know where I am; I come from a pack up north, and I’m used to the cold that is why my pelt is large for my species.” She toyed with him, she sat in front of him with both of her tails, looking hot she leaped over that mud, where he was stepping into. She turned away from him, sitting down, with her head held high.
