The discovery of his youth had left Lawson at first surprised, and then excited and finally with a sense of power and god-like ability. He was invincible, or so he felt. Without a hint of grey, or sore muscles even if he was six years old, the Yagi seemed to be the epitome of health and power, from his large black, pointed horns, his rippling, toned muscles or his deep, thick chestnut fur, perfect for any climate. The large male was on his routinely patrol around the borders of the jungle, brooding about things, his bright, eery orange eyes scanning the horizon for any intruders, should one be stupid enough to even try to get past him, they would die a slow and painful death.
He hadn't seen the Don of the pack, Scorch, since the Hallow's Eve festival, but he supposed he was busy with his new family. He shuddered: Pups weren't his style, although he understood that the don needed to continue his line. He himself quite enjoyed his single life. He hadn't seen the Underboss, Braelyn, in a while also, and Scorch had mentioned to Lawson that he'd had a small promotion from Consigliere to Underboss: It didn't really matter, his job was about the same, but should anything happen to the don and donna, and the pups weren't old enough to rule, Lawson would take over the mafia.
Intriguing thought indeed... But not the right path for us.... His voice hissed, and Lawson quite agreed: He didn't want anything to happen to the Don and Donna, they were his friends in a way, the only ones he had, and he didn't particularly want to rule: He preferred to stay second in command. The Yagi wondered if he would meet any fellow mafia members, he was up for some intelligent conversation, maybe Daedalus was around? If not, a trespasser would do, hopefully one with some guts, he was up for a fight. He grinned, and his white saber teeth gleamed.
