OOC Information
OOC Name:Annette
Link to Previous Character: Link to last accepted character
General
Name: Pantera
Alias: Turra
Species: Lupus
Gender: Female
Age: 2 and a half
Pack: Loner
Rank: Lone wolf
Physical
Height: 37 inches tall
Weight: 90 lbs
Appearance: Pantera is a dark orange/reddish color with almost brindle like markings, most others would describe her as a half breed with certain markings.. Her coat is medium in length, but tends to get real short through out the summer months, making her feel a tad naked. She has these deep yellow eyes that seem to pierce through you when she's staring straight at you. Her muzzle is slightly shorter but is dainty; her ears are some what large for her skull, but it equips her to hear better than those who have ears too small for their heads. Pantera's legs are long and thin that are built for bursts of speed; her feet are the size that they should be, nice and small; with perfect rounded digits and neatly kept nails. Her tail is lengthy, and bares the longest fur from the rest of her. She is a medium sized wolf with a good portioned body. However; don't let her frame fool you, she is tougher than she looks.
Other: She had a birth mark on her left leg of black stripes. Other wolves see her as a different breed.. Also after running long periods of time, her body overheats and flames seem to appear.
Mental
Strengths: Pantera is a swift learner, and tends to pick up on what is to be learned fast; an important part of survival. She listens well and does what she is told by her superiors. Pantera is fast when it comes to running, a perfect quality to have if she were a Hunter, Guardian, or a Scout. She has great attention for detail and never seems to miss a thing; she can detect the faintest sneer from another wolf when one is lying. She's always willing to please her superiors, and if she fails to do so, she tries harder next time. She's also very intuitive and always had chosen to follow her heart instead of her mind. Pantera was always eager to learn as she seems to have a thirst for knowledge..
Weaknesses: Aggression is one of Pantera's weakness'. She tends to fill up with pent up rage and takes it out on either another wolf, or risks it with another wild animal. Pantera can at times elevates her aggression to extreme aggression, either angering her superiors, or chasing off lower ranked members. She also has a hard time controlling her powers. She can also be quite repetitive when anxiety plagues her. She will either pace back and forth, constantly yap, or dig in the same spot and bury then dig it again and re-bury. She loves to have a voice for no reason at all, she's very opinionated and this often times lands her into trouble. Pantera also whines a lot and this does get on the nerves of others, but only because she's demanding attention. Pantera tends to stare at others for long periods of time, or until they finally look away from intimidation; this seems to be a ''power'' struggle between her and her pack mates. , She's definitely an instigator, and will often times start fights through rumors, that is if she does not like you...
Personality: Pantera is a neutral being. She tends to get aggressive at times. However; this is a good trait for a lone wolf, who knows how to use aggression to certain boundaries. She is a fast learner, and picks up things rather quickly, and soaks it in. She's always looking for new knowledge, and never fails to find it. She is very inquisitive that way. Pantera can also be a bit of a pain; she will yap instead of howl at the moon like a coyote, and this forces her to wonder if she was a broken lined wolf. Although she's a wolf, she has never really learned how to use her voice for howling, but has definitely learned how to use it for aggression. Pantera is more of a ''do things her own way'' instead of following others. She's not a leader, but tends to be the odd one out for sticking to herself and doing things her way. However; no one has seemed to bother her about it, nor questioned her. She's not much for pack life, although she's not against it. She will join a pack if she feels food is too scarce, if the winter proves to be too harsh, she will join a pack, and decide whether or not to leave in the spring. Pantera has good intuition, and always follows her heart when it comes to making a big decision. When thriving within a pack Pantera tends to get overly protective when it comes to a weaker member or members of the pack. She also loves doing border patrol and watches over the territory she's living on. Instead of running to the Alpha or any wolf with a rank, she tends to deal with things herself which sometimes lands her in hot water. She is adaptive as she can easily assess any situation and react to it, such as interlopers or any other being looking to cause grief on her lands. Pantera is a mixed persona wolf, however she's more of a positive type, and does not bare harsh negative attitudes, except for the fact that she often does get that ''rush'' within her. The ''rush'' feeling bids her to be aggressive. She can't help it, as her adrenaline forces her to have that euphoric feeling. If in a pack and this happens, an Alpha will provide a warning, and if Pantera is still proving to be too aggressive, she tends to be booted out for her disorderly conduct. Pantera in other words can be very high strung.
History: Born to a lone female wolf in the outskirts of a pack land. Pantera was first born. She had met her father a few times as her father would sneak by just to say hello, and see how his pups were doing. The father was of the pack nearby, he was a Scout, and held his affairs as secret as possible, therefore no one of his pack knew about his mistress or pups. Pantera grew a liking for her father, as he seemed to mysterious. Once she hit 7 months of age, the visits suddenly stopped, and Pantera asked her mother why. Her mother had no answers to provide her pups with, but only made the assumption that he may have been found out of his secret and was banned from Scouting. Or he may have moved on to another pack.
Pantera once ventured out on her own once she hit 8 months of age, and boldly padded into the territory. She was in dire need to see her father, for missing him so much. Pantera entered into the territory, and was told off by a guardian, and was warned that if she ever came back that she would be killed on site. Nervously she did as she was told, and this was when her yappy expressions surfaced. She yapped loudly as she left the territory calling out to her father, and as she yapped, the guardian actually gave chase to her to the end of the territory and to the out lands. When she arrived back to her birth den, her mother scolded her with a bite to the nape of the neck, and told her to get into the den, and not to ever wander off like that again at her young inexperienced age.
Once she hit one year of age, Pantera became rebellious toward her mother, and this was when her aggression appeared. She would often find herself becoming high strung, and putting the other pups in their places. She was the Beta femme of the litter as her mother was Alpha. She and her mother would often times get into it, fighting over nothing and everything when Pantera was feeling that pent up energy building up. By the time she was one and a half years of age, she ventured out on her own, leaving her mother. The rest of the pups decided to follow suit and start their own lives as well. Pantera's first stop was to look for her father. She dared to go back onto that territory, but only because she was feeling that ''high'' and her body language showed it. She met the same guard and got into a good fight. Despite losing the fight, the guard decided to spare her life and take her to her father; but first the Alpha male. The guard told Pantera that he liked her spirit and that she would be a good Guardian on their lands as they were recruiting at the time. Perhaps Pantera just got lucky? She met the Alpha, and the Alpha took a keen liking to her straight away. Once she got acquainted with him, she told the Alpha about her father who was supposed to have been living there. The sad news was that her father was killed by a grizzly bear on premises while on patrol almost a year before. So that's why never seen him in so long! The Alpha offered her a position as an apprentice guardian of the pack working under the head guardian. (Guardian who fought and defeated Pantera) Pantera took up the offer, and decided to learn a thing or two from this head guardian. Pantera stayed and thrived within the pack for about a year before she took her leave. She decided to leave on good terms as she had a desire to move on. She was not a pack wolf by heart as she was a rogue or loner by heart. She took what the head guardian taught her and used those tools out in the wilderness.
Now almost 3 years old, she had been out on her own for a few months. She had a few run ins but nothing huge like a grizzly or a cougar. She had run into packs or other loners such as herself. She only had been in a few fights in her day, but she finds talking her way out of things is better than blood shed all the time. Pantera is still not much of a pack dweller, as she feels that she needs to do things her own way instead of following a lazy Alpha that can't fight his own battles or hunt for his own food. She feels Alphas are wolves who manipulate others that they are bigger, better and stronger than everyone else in the pack, and its easily seen by the others with forced submissions or actions. Pantera is not totally against pack leaders, but she had seen some that had sent doubt through her mind, however she was only judging by what the Alpha looked like or what she heard about from other loners like herself. Pantera is not easily manipulated, and has a hard time trusting those she does not know very well. Her hunting skills have improved and she's not doing all that bad out on her own again. Pantera hopes that one day she will find a pack that she can truly confide in.

We do allow people on WW to create their own species, but they must be reviewed by staff and bought using PP you earn by posting, so unfortunately you will need to change her species. She would fit well as a lupus or a lyxxus, with her markings. ^^

Welcome to WonderWhy, I have the pleasure of going over your bio. So far so good, just a few things we need to address. Please read over the guidelines for the lyxxus breed, she is far too large and lyxxus do not have powers. I would suggest looking at the lupus breed instead, or giving the character a complete overhaul to be a lyxxus. The wolf species guide can be found here: Wolf Species The lupus are under the rare tab. I would also suggest elaborating on her strengths and weaknesses, you have some contradictions that need to be remedied. I will let you work on this. If you have any questions feel free to ask though PM or the cbox. Once you have edited please post here and I will continue going over her.

A few little things then you will be good to go:
The species is Lupus, not lupis. Please put the height in inches so it is uniform with the rest of the profiles.
Appearance: Lupus do not have talons, they have nails.
I also want to tell you how much I like how she "overheats" I think it shows that she does not have good control over her power, which should be noted somewhere, maybe under weaknesses.
Speaking of weakness: How can she be overly submissive and still do that stare thing? A wolf that instigates is not one to easily submit.
You also go on to say that she is neutral. You seem to be all over the place there, do you want her to be submissive? aggressive? or in the middle? Perhaps you can say that she attempts to remain neutral, but since she is opinionated it is hard to remain unbiased?
How about this. Call her adaptive. She can assess details and figure out which response is best. Also a little nitpick on my side, this "rush" thing you mention, when you say "An alpha just sends her on patrol" You cannot generalize alphas that way. Since she is all over the place, some alphas may treat her differently some may actually boot her out for the behavior.
Also that last statement you say about her being high strung can be moved up to the personality section. Aside those little things you are good. Just let me know once you finish up those changes.
