Her paw pads are pink, but with a small black star in the middle of the left pad. Her teeth are very sharp, but when she yawns you can see a jagged tooth in the back of her mouth. She has a lot of good advice for life, and the stories she tells are great to listen to. She had a pretty good sense of humor, But Nagami isn't all nice and light. She will never trust a stranger unless he/she proves that they mean no harm. Nagami is independent, making her easy to manage in a pack, but also hard to fit in with the pack. She has a scar on her soul left by the early death of her parents. Nagami is strange, an outcast, but a great friend.
History:
When Nagami was just a pup, her father left her to join a faraway pack. At only a month, she met her first bear. Nagami remembered the event very well. Her mother was out hunting when the bear lumbered by. It sniffed the air and growled, sending chills up Nagami's spine. It grunted, lowering it's head and started scratching at the den entrance. Nagami pressed herself against the cave, terrified.
Then Nagami heard the best sound in the world; her mother's growl.
The bear roared and turned around, slashing at the spot where Nagami's mother used to be. Nagami watched as her mother (Named Kelia) jumped on the Bear's back as it roared and tried to shake Kelia off. Finally it reared up on it's hind legs and smashed itself against a tree.
"No! Watch out!" Nagami shouted as her mother stumbled, and slipped right into the gorge, along with the bear. Then she watched in fear as the sound of impact from the bear hitting the floor shook loose a rock next t the den. It fell, and at that moment, Nagami knew her mother was dead.
Nagami couldn't believe it. She sat down, shocked, and mourned her mother. Why did this happen to her? Nagami cried long into the night, finally falling into a shallow and troubled sleep.
The next day, Nagami decided not to go look for her mother for fear of what she might see. Instead, she went about trying to find another wolf to take care of her. (It never occurred to her that there might not be anyone there.) For the next few weeks Nagami wandered around, looking for spare scraps of food left by the occasional hawk of bear. Finally she stopped at what looked like an old path. She shrugged and followed it.
Nagami followed the path to what looked like an underground den. She sniffed at it, hoping to find someone there. An old white wolf scrambled out of the hole, looking surprised. He offered Nagami to stay with him. He taught her how to properly hunt alone and how to fight against bears. When she asked who he was, he laughed and told her that he was her grandfather. Nagami enjoyed his company, but he told her that once he taught her all of his knowledge, she would have to go join the packs. One day, at one year old, Nagami was hunting at night when something strange happened. As she pounced, her eyes seemed to dart over to the edge of the forest. Something was moving. She suddenly felt cold, and out of the forest came a ghost. It was her mother. She told Nagami not to morn her and to go to the packs so that she could live a happy life. Suddenly she woke up in her grandfather's den. It was just a dream.
Nagami ran to her grandfather and told him. He said that she wasn't old enough and he continued to train her. Gradually Nagami's skills sharpened to the point of her being able to spot and smell a rabbit from a long distance, and she mastered anticipating her prey's every move. But she had her flaws. Almost on every hunt she would stumble, blunder, and pretty much make so much noise that every rabbit in the woods would hear her. Finally her grandfather traced the source of clumsiness. Her right ear was partially deaf, and her left back leg had a lightly crooked foot. Her grandfather realized this, and instead trained her in combat. He sparred with her every day, correcting her moves and keeping her on her feet. At 2 years old, Nagami was a respectable opponent, not too bad, but not exactly amazing. One day Nagami discovered something odd. She was staring at the sky when she saw a goose that she really wanted to eat. Nagami licked her lips and thought about how good it would taste... Then it seemed like some invisible force pulled the bird down. Nagami was confused.
She ran to her grandfather with the bird and told him what happened. He was delighted. He told Nagami that she must have the power of gravity, and that meant that she could give and object extreme amounts of gravity, pulling it down, or giving it none at all, making it float upward. The problem was that he said that he had been waiting for Nagami to learn her power, so that he knew that her training was complete. He told Nagami to go on her journey to find a pack. Nagami said her farewells, and set on her way to the packs, ready for whatever lies ahead.
Other: When her grandfather trained her, it never came across his mind to teach Nagami the ways of packs, leaving her completely clueless about what packs even do. He also neglected to teach her how to swim, giving her a huge disadvantage when living in a area next to the ocean.
