OOC Information OOC Name: Amira Link to Previous Character: He's my first (:
General Name: Alamiro Alias: Al, Miro ; Taurus, Taur, Rus Species: Leopard Myou Gender: Male Age: Four and a half years Pack: Loner Rank: n/a
Physical Height: 30 in. Weight: 140 lbs. Appearance: It is of no question that Alamiro is a Myou. Despite being a wolf, his second soul of a Leopard takes over most of his bodily appearance. He has a large head and a lean, agile body built for graceful and stealthy movements. His tail is longer and thinner than most other wolves, though fluffier than a leopards tail would be. He has shorter legs and a long body to aid his stealth, along with more rounded ears and a slightly shorter muzzle. He walks with fluid and matched movements with a little quicker pace than most.
Miro's pelt is where the real distinction comes in. He has dark golden fur, lighter on the underbelly and chest, with square-ish ebony rosettes covering every inch of his body. Though, as to add to the uniqueness, his tail tip and paws take on the same black color. Having a big cat as his second soul, he has retractable claws and very sharp canines. His body is also naturally built and full of muscle.
His eyes are of a greenish color with golden specks, much like a leopards, and are able to see extremely well at night time with his reflective vision. His body is also not unscaved. Two jagged scars run across his right cheek and down his face over his mouth, another running along his flank. To finish up his scars, along the top left side of his head is a short, but deep scar. Miro's voice is very deep with a slight southern accent, often hoarse. Other: I picture him sounding a lot like Nickelback.
Mental Strengths: + Stealth and physical strength + Swimming/climbing abilities + Strong-willed + Night time + Acute senses Weaknesses: - Head trauma - Lost memory - Speed - Large amounts of blood (seeing and tasting it) - Thick-headed (both physically and mentally) Personality: Since his head injury, his personality hasn't changed much. He just can't put history behind why he acts the way he does.
To put things bluntly, Miro is a very distant and quiet wolf. He keeps to himself and sees no need in going in others lives unless needed. Having the second soul of the noctural-dwelling leopard, it's easy to guess that he prefers the night over day, as well as being high up in the trees. He enjoys clear, quiet nights where he can sit and gaze over the endless starry skies above, wondering and thinking about anything that comes to mind. He has an extremely hard time getting close to others, as well as trusting. It takes a lot to open him up.
Even though he is distant, he isn't a very cold wolf. He'll act politely and respectfully to any wolf he meets, unless they end up upsetting him somehow. Basically he'll act the way he's treated. He's generally very calm and kind of emotionless and has a hard time really enjoying himself. Sure, he'll put on a smile, but most the time it doesn't match how he feels. He hides his pain and fear from others, even going out of his way to keep it from others.
Alamiro tends to think a little strangely. He often over-analyzes things and will go through every detail before he comes to a conclusion. Once his mind is on something, it's nearly impossible to distract him. He has a sharp temper and has a hard time getting out of a bad mood once in one. He tends to take on more than he can handle, believing that he has to do everything on his own. He has his pride and doesn't like undermining himself. Letting go and being broken are the two hardest things for him to accept.
Once he considers you a friend, he'll defend and fight for you fiercely. If you get closer than that, he won't be afraid to lay his life down in front of you. He gets extremely protective over those he cares about, which can lead him to be a little nosy and made jealous easily. Deep down, he has a big heart and enjoys helping others. Love is a very hard emotion for him to feel, but when he does, he loves with all his heart. When he says he loves someone, he means he'll go to the ends of the earth for them. Because of his deep love affection, it causes him to hold deep grudges for when that love and trust is broken.
There's nothing that bothers Alamiro more than his memory loss. He has so many unexplained emotions that he can't put a story behind and it drives him crazy. Also because of his head injury, he sometimes has very bad headaches and has a hard time making quick decisions. He's intelligent, it just takes him a minute to overcome the mentality of his wound. He's veryself conscious about himself in every aspect.
The last thing about Miro is when there's large amounts of blood. From his past, it causes very troubling memories and causes large waves of fear in him. It also triggers something within him that snaps, turning him into an almost crazed being that'll forget himself. It's a blind rage of pain and anger that he can often control, though seeing a lot of blood causes him to break. History: Alamiro doesn't remember his past. He has dreams of very vague events, though can't peace them together completely.
------------------------------------
"I love you, my angels." Miro's mother gave birth to he and his brother, Taurus, on the banks of a river. They were in perfect health and brought much joy to she and their father. Their den was not far off, hidden by a stone wall in the nice little cove. It was their home, and the only place they could be. They knew the risks of having pups, but felt their family was now complete.
"Never go beyond these stone walls." The land where they lived was ruled by Yagi, with small amounts of other species mixed in. The Myou, however, were fiercely hated and hunted for their uniqueness. They were seen as impure. Al's mother and father had found the sanctuary of the hidden cove and soon after they found they were going to be parents. The pups knew they could not follow their parents out the stone tunnel when they went to hunt. Having an eagle (mother) and mountain goat (father) second souls, their parents could walk around the outside and blend in with other species. The family was able to live peacefully from the other side for nearly a year.
"You will never take them!" One night, their parents went out to hunt and the pups had eventually fallen asleep waiting for them. They were, however, woken up as their mother burst into the den. She shoved them into a tiny cavern in the back of the dark cave moments before a group of Yagi swarmed in. As Alamiro crouched over his little brother to protect him from any sights and sounds, he peered through a small crack in the wall and grew shocked when he saw one of the wolves holding his fathers head.
The wolves interrogated their mother, though he could not hear the words they exchanged. He did know that his mother was being very brave, and about to suffer the same fate as his father. He braced himself as the Yagi leaped, brutally tearing off her head. She could barely muster a scream before her body hit the floor. Miro curled up tightly around his brother, trying his hardest not to burst out in pain and tears.
"Keep your eyes shut, Taur..." It was morning and hours later when he decided it was safe for them to finally leave the den. He slowly led his brother out, making sure he kept his eyes closed. He did not want him to witness their mother's decapitated body on the cold stone floors, her head gone with the group of Yagi. They stepped out of the den and were devastated to see the beautiful cove ravished and ruined from the Yagi looking for them.
"I'll keep you safe." Miro snuck his brother out of the land and the two ventured alone for a long time. They usually just scavanged off carcasses, but his second soul of a leopard helped with learning how to hunt. Taurus' second soul of a rabbit did not provide any help. They trusted no one they met, he especially. He was extremely protective over Taurus and was glued to his side, always the opposite from his sweet and care-free personality. He was not willing to take any risks. It had been a year after their parents murder that they came to a foreign, new land.
The two siblings got into a fight one day and Taurus stormed off. They had before and Alamiro was not afraid to let him go cool off, having confidence that he'd return quickly as he always did; but when he did not, anxiety gripped him in waves.
He searched and searched for him, his fear quickly growing. It was nearly night-time when he finally caught his scent, following it to a lake. As he pushed through the bushes, the anxiety was replaced by rage when he saw Taur with a strange male, which only escelated when he noticed he was Yagi. He attacked the male and pinned him down, ready to rip his face off. Taurus quickly stumbled over to them and shoved him off, trying to explain to him that the male was nice and gave him food. Miro was very distrusting at first, but the male stayed calm and introduced himself as Nago. He explained that he belonged to the pack near-by and that the two should stay there as guests. Miro immediately refused, holding a deep grudge and distrust of Yagi; though with Nago's reassurance and Taur's pleading, he gave in.
The pair went with Nago to the pack, where they were greeted very kindly. Alamiro was not used to such kindness towards Myou and it threw him off. He agreed to stay there for a few days to rest before they'd keep going on.
"This is your home now." The few days dragged on to weeks. They liked being around wolves that were kind to them and giving them such nice things. Miro had a hard time making friends, though Taurus had no trouble getting along with everyone. Time was passing by and Alamiro was beginning to think of joining the pack for his brother. He knew he could be even more safe here with Nago, and he wanted nothing more than that. He never wanted anything to happen to him. When Miro told him his decision, he was ecstatic.
"Surprised?" Just when things were going right, it all came back down. A small pack of rogue wolves came into the land, hearing the rumor of the two Myou wolves belonging in the pack. It was true that the Yagi wolves from their home would stop at nothing to get them. The leader of Alamiro's pack demanded that they leave, though they refused. Things only got more turned around when Miro found out something; Nago had been the one that brought them here, among others in the pack. So they had been spies.
After he made sure Taurus was somewhere safe, he plunged into the battle blindly. He had only one thing on his mind: he wanted their blood. He was looking for the one that killed his parents, and the one that betrayed them. He found Nago and held him in his jaws, killing him quickly. Miro turned to look for the other, when a scream came that stopped his heart.
Taurus. Alamiro darted to where he was hidden. To his shock, the Yagi was already there, ripping the head from his body. Something snapped in him, the deep rage and pain bursting all at once. His beloved brother was gone. Miro's mind went blank as he leaped, ruthlessly and mercilessly tearing the male to shreds. He payed no attention to the scars given to him across his face and flank. That wolf was the cause of all his pain, the one that had murdered his family. It wasn't hard to tell that Miro was enjoying the taste of his blood.
Just before the Yagi could be pinned, he sunk his sharp fangs into Alamiro's skull. Luckily, the wound would not kill him, but it would be a move that would change his life forever. Miro finished him off, his blood pumping hard and his blood-lust turning him slightly crazed. Twitching and trying hard to keep himself, he turned and fled the rest of the battle. He was lost a home again.
Miro didn't get far before his wounds began to cause him great pain. He went to a river and tried to wash them out, only to be knocked unconscious and fall in.
"What's your name?" Alamiro was washed quite a ways down stream before he got caught on a bank. That was where a wolf named Shiek picked him up. She was an old and sweet wolf. She cared for him until he could finally open his eyes. When she asked his name and where he came from, Miro's mind was blank. He could not recall anything. One name did flash across his mind, though. Taurus. Believing it was his name, he introduced himself to Shiek. This was also when he began to really notice the presence of his second soul, Yekhet.
Miro lived with the old female for only half a year before she died of old age. Now his wounds were healed enough for him to go out on his own, under the name of Taurus. It frustrated him that he could not remember where he came from or what had happened before he met Shiek. His nightmares and extreme head pain were clues, but he could not put them together. This is where he stumbled on the lands of WonderWhy. Other: Anything else ou might have missed
