The white wolf took several steps across the sandy dunes as she let out a low howl. It reached out in a Solemn and longing tone. Nepara sauntered as the sun climbed to its ever withering climax. Short bursts of cool wind caused a small sigh of relief as the normal sized eremus glanced across the wide desert expanse. Where had they all gone? She had to admit that Leo, her fire lupus friend, was right about her search. Nepara wasn't very patient when it came to waiting for something you were unsure you would ever find.
Now the little eremus grieved, exhausted her physical limits [that were quite high for the hardy purebred] to try her damndest to belong. What she wanted: that final moment where hooves met hooves and the eremus would find another. As the sun started to bake the horizon, Nepara started to scout for shade... anything to help ease her perspiration. Her eyes began to water, even with the second eyelid her species provided. Her tongue lolied from her maw has she panted for any signs of humidity.
She soon stumbled upon a cave, weary about wandering inside. But the breeze from inside sucked her in. The eremus sniffed around for water as she hoped an underground spring would be possible. As she continued a faint smell came to her nostrils. It seemed almost too familiar. Another eremus?! The wolf stuck to the ground as she continued to race along the tunnels. She would find the source, if it killed her!
"Ahhhh!" she squealed suddenly as she jumped back, the sound of hollow marrow rattled along the ground as the skeleton of a former wolf, now lied scattered along the cold floor. Nepara continued to sniff, she took a closer look and noticed the familiar bone structure from halfway down the legs... down. The hooves nothing left but dry bones. She held her head low as she continued her search for any sort of liquid. Her hopes, shot down.

Pantera could hear the sounds of a ow howl in the distance. The scent she recognized, but not the chords.
Must be Nepara
She liked the she-wolf, as she was friendly; despite Pantera's aggression. Pantera was a rebel at heart, but never started a fight, she only stood for her freedom and rights, and even would fight an Alpha to pass his territory if she needed to. Win or lose, she never let her pride fade, she was a roughian, and damned proud to be it.
She placed her nares to the ground and trailed the scent of Nepara, her limbs carrying her briskly through the foliage. A smile crept across her maw as she neared her. The sound of another cry from Nepara startled her slightly enough for her to bring her head up and tilt it to the side to have a reading of what was taking place. She lowered her skull but not to the ground this time; it was as if she was briskly stalking or in a herding position as she trotted quicker to the source. Now if any pack nearby heard Nepara squeal like she just did, she would have been killed. Hackles rose from the sound in instinct, but also to capture any ambushers who was bound to attack her acquaintance.
She soon reached the femme, seeing the somber expression written across her features. She stopped, and placed herself back to neutral height. She offered a low tail wag in greeting, though Nepara may or may not have seen it. Hackles lowered as she neared the other femme.
What's wrong? I heard you.....
Before she finished her sentence, she got why Nepara freaked out.
Looks like dinner to me..
She joked trying to get a smile out of Nepara as she nosed it, then pushed it away from her. She looked at Nepara once again, waiting for a response.

The eremus paused before noticing another voice nearby as she shivered. The joke seemed to help her in greeting slightly, but not completely. Nepara chuckled uneasily. "Hehe, yeah..." She remembered the other wolf vaguely but from where... she couldn't quite remember. She was a fire lupus much like Leo. The she wolf blinked a couple of times, remembering said fire friend. Thoughts of their travels reached her mind as she felt her heart begin to thud and pick up pace.
Quickly, snapping back to reality, the eremus gave a weak smile as she continued to trot ahead and search for any sign of humidity in the air. "I believe we have met before... I'm sorry, I don't remember your name. I.. I was just looking for a pool of water... well, hoping really." She sighed inwardly a bit, that not being the whole of the answer.
Maybe this she wolf could help her? Two heads were always better than one... and maybe she would want to help her more than Leo did. Was she just an exception to her own kind for him? Did he secretly despise all other eremus? Either way, she shrugged the thought away as she looked back to see if the other wolf was still following her. "I was kinda, also looking for other eremus too..." her ears and tail drooping as they elongated towards the rocky floor, chilling her body further. Then the smell hit her.
Water.
It had to be near, she began to run as if the water would suddenly vanish if she did not get there soon. When she slowed, she took deep breaths in awe as stalagmites and stalagtites jutted from the top and bottom of the cavern. In the center the large lake glimmered from small gaps in the desert surface from above. The dripping of water droplets that clung from the ceiling gave an echo of solitude as the eremus turned towards the lupus again. Her ears and tail whipping back into place at the wondrous sight before them.

Pantera didn't judge other species at all. A wolf was a wolf, and despite the difference in breed her belief was to stick together. Thoughts of her wanting to start her own Chapter whirled within her skull and the founder would have been the President, following ranks would have been Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Boarder Captain, Sergeant-at-Paws, Members, Associates, and or Prospects. She killed the thought in her head of starting her own pack, as the femme spoke.
Heheh Yeah.. I believe we have met before... I'm sorry, I don't remember your name. I.. I was just looking for a pool of water... well, hoping really. I was kinda also looking for other Eremus too
She offered a coy smile, she knew her name wasn't very easy to remember.
Pantera.. And yes I recall you. You were with that male fire wolf Leo I think his name was..
She looked up as in recalling his name, then snapped her gaze back to Nepara. As soon as she looked back to the white wolfess, the wolfess was already gone. Shaking her skull as if shaking a dazed sate from her mind, she followed quickly lopping not too far behind her.
Yeah I never seen any of your breed yet. Perhaps a rarity? She asked as she trotted in closer to get the view of water. Water made her tremble, as she hated it, but to only drink it. She would never swim it, unless she had too, it always made her coat so wired and gave her the frizz action. She hated becoming smoke instead of fire, as fire covered her scent better than the water did.
It's beautiful here I must admit
She smiled.
Let's get ourselves a drink shall we..?
She offered the femme the lead as she extended the paw outward since she found it. She hated to admit that she forgot her name also. With a frown, she awkwardly gave a small chuckle.
I don;t recall your name either..
She offered an embarrassed look, flipping her left ear backward and upright again, as she lowered her paw.
