OOC Information OOC Name: Scarlet Link to Previous Character: n/a
General Name: Solunatta Alias: Luna (after her mother) Species: Lyxxus Gender: Female Age: Four years Pack: Loner Rank: n/a
Physical Height: 19 inches Weight: 30 lbs
Appearance: Solunatta is an average sized wolf, who varies to the lighter weight side every now and then. Her back is a deep scarlet color, almost brown on the spine. As it rounds her ribs it lightens into a brighter red. The red melts into a bright flame orange down her flanks and legs. Each paw is wrapped in gold with claws of crisp black. Even her underside is a light gold that stretches from her chest to her tails. Her entire frame is sleek, but each muscle is toned well and visible to an extent. She has four tails that are long and thick, red with a blonde underside to match her golden paws and belly. Her neck fur is slightly thicker than most and matches the rest of her pelt with a flame look. She usually has a very glossed, clean pelt but her mane always seems to be wild.
Almost like a red hood, she wears the red over her ears and on the top of her head. The rest of her face is a toned orange with golden highlights around her eyes. With a black nose and golden inner ears, she brings a lot of contrast. Everything about her resembles the sun's fire. Everything except her eyes that is. The orbs of sheer blue can strike a gaze of fear or affection with great strength. Deep and immense, it resembles the night sky under a full moon. She has a voice to match the loudness of her pelt in volume. Although it is loud, she has great control over her tones and makes it very smooth and melodic.
Other: She is very picky about grooming, so the majority of her always looks clean. This is good for appearance, but it intensifies her colors, making her more noticeable when hunting.
Mental Strengths:
- Strength: Solunatta would spend her days of boredom purposely training and pushing herself. She welcomed the pain, and all that hard work has paid off in her muscle tone.
- Endurance: Capable of handling great pressures, physical and mental pain for long amounts of time, and stressful situations.
- Intelligence: Everything she does takes plenty of thought and careful evaluating. She learns quickly and uses a lot of her knowledge to the best she can.
- Confidence: For a long time she lacked it, but now confidence is one of her biggest traits. She does her best and usually doesn't care what others think.
- Helpful: Solunatta dreams of having a family, but until she can she wants to go out of her way to help others succeed.
- Ambitious/Creative: When it comes to her personal beliefs and goals, she will stop at nothing to achieve them. She has been able to come up with new ideas in the occasion of a problem.
Weaknesses:
- Attitude: She's very happy, but if you upset her she has a nasty attitude. She tends to get snappy with people who act less intelligent, especially when stressed.
- Apathy: She has grown cold for deep emotions. She doesn't get too attached, and refuses to love. By hiding her emotions all the time, she leads herself into inner conflicts. She can be very insensitive to others without meaning to.
- Failure: When people are in pain, she feels she is failing, so she does her best to keep everyone happy. Unless they are trying to change her, because then her attitude and apathy kicks in. She also works really hard at her goals, so if she fails herself, it is hard to take.
- Stubborn: Good and bad. Since she puts so much thought into her actions, she gets to be stubborn in fights or arguments simply because she feels like she's always right.
- Weird: She tends to put herself away from others because they will mock her. Although she has grown not to care, she just has something weird about her persona because of it.
- Pedantic/OCD: Everything is very specific, and all of her thoughts must stay organized. If things are out of line, she studies them and their nature to put reasoning behind it. If she can't make reason, she has the urge to correct it or make it more efficient. Solunatta is quick to find flaws, especially in her own work.
Personality: Solunatta greatly enjoys company and working. She tends to take leadership naturally, but doesn't usually set out to rule over anyone. Attention is always a plus, and she will do crazy stunts to make people laugh. Her belief lies strongly in hard work and using common sense. She is a very honest person, which is both good and bad. With Solunatta, you know you can trust her word and know she is not lying. However, she is blunt and quick to say whatever is on her mind.
Her endurance will lead her to do things for a long time, no matter what the cost. She is very willing to sacrifice things for others, but she doesn’t seem to understand why other people are as indifferent as she is for that. Solunatta is open and friendly, she lacks fear for anything. Her only problem is understanding emotions and when she is getting on other people’s nerves. Since she is outspoken and peppy, she tends to be an annoyance to the quieter, calmer wolves.
History: Solunatta started out in misfortune without a choice. Her mother was taken advantage of at a young age, and it led to many problems. Luna, her mother was a frail, tiny little Lyxxus with cream colored fur and bright green eyes. She gave birth to five pups, but three had been stillborn. Solunatta and her brother Pierce looked a lot alike, but Pierce had his mother’s eyes and her ability to hold a piercing cold gaze. Although neither pup had ever seen or heard anything of their father, they could guess what he looked like. After all, their mother was a solid cream color, and they were balls of fire.
The two pups loved being adventurous, but Luna couldn’t take their hyperactivity. She was very hateful to them, destroying any chance they had at hope. As pups, their spirit was never crushed, but as they grew older, the resentment began to sink in. Pierce was a wily one, and he even began arguing back. The fights got worse, the nights grew longer and the young wolves had entered winter on two different levels.
Luna grew sick, her mental state never helped and she grew weak very quickly. Pierce and Solunatta did everything to help her, but she denied them. Then in one angry fight, Pierce just lost it, snapped on his own mother. At the time, Solunatta was very reserved, too afraid of the fighting. But that night, the blow was too hard and they both lost a mother. He hadn’t realized what he had done until it was way too late, and the sheer fact stunned him. Solunatta only watched, for she wasn’t shocked. It was that very night did she feel the ice finally take over. She didn’t care. She never did.
Pierce on the other hand, took complete shock and self-loathing. He broke down in wails, howling for the next few nights. Until at one point while they were running, he just leapt. Solunatta watched her brother leap into the fog of a cliff’s edge. She didn’t care. She never did.
For the next year she wandered alone. Another male wolf came up and attempting courting her. Yet she was uninterested in the world, and uninterested in him. He spent days with her, hunting for her, just in love with her firey pelt and silent beauty. She did nothing but reject him, which only angered him. In disappointment he retaliated on her, “You are nothing to this world! You pathetic scrap, I do everything for you and you don’t even thank me! Lone wolves would kill you and abuse you in this world. All I’ve done is respecting you, and you don’t deserve that! You deserve nothing but death.” With that, he walked away calmly. Any other wolf would miss the company; miss the nice meals and warm slumber. Yet all Solunatta felt was more bitter frost. She didn’t care. She never did.
So she walked the world, she would run and shove boulders back and forth with her shoulders all day. Until one morning she woke under the break of dawn to the sound of a frantic she-wolf. The random she-wolf was shooing her cubs, trying to run away from something. Solunatta felt pity for the mother, so young and starving with two pups. That it hit like a wave of warmth, the sacrifice the mother made for her children. The minute they left her vision though, pain seared into Solunatta’s mind. The memories hit her one after the other and she realized one thing. It’s time to change. With that, she got up and started traveling. She didn’t know where to, and she still doesn’t, but she’ll find out soon enough.
Other: Hint Hint, Pierce isn’t dead. Solunatta doesn’t know that though, but I may want to make him later on.
