OOC InformationOOC Name: elle Link to Previous Character:Note: she does not have a specie telepathy, although i am intending to buy it once i've got the paw prints. GeneralName: alecia mackenzie foyer Alias: alice in plain, she doesn't really like anything else, but will go with kenzie or anything the others call her Species: cael Gender: female Birthday: november ninth Age: two years Pack: loner Rank: n/a PhysicalHeight: 32 inches Weight: 60 lbs - without tail; 76 lbs - with tail Appearance:take a porcelain wolf and soak it in bottle of champagne. hairs lick around her body like plastic around a newly found toy; though seemingly hard as ice, at touch silky, but at the same time seems like she'll slip away in a wisp of smoke. alice is a slippery female, doesn't crave physical contact from other then those in her 'good friend' book. not just coated in the colors of sparkling wine, but crystal-like dapples splash on her loin and hips, a couple sprinkled on her shoulders. although they are barely visible, they do add a scale like shine to her coat. now imagine a puddle full of thistle purple paint and see her splashing though it with face and tail down. you're supposed to see small splashes as the color fades up her legs, tail tip and from her maw to her foreface. a dorsal stripe starting from her nose right to the end of her tail, runs on her back in the same thistle color. break garnets and diamonds to shatters and fill that in for eyes, with pupils like the full moon. they often radiate joy, even when her body says different, like they smile at you instead of her mouth.
greatly unlike most caels, alice has not yet seen her own form when hit by water ( read more to find out why ), but i'll fill that in for you. when in water tail sprouts in the former places of her hind legs, covering her lower half, glittering like jewels the same way as her eyes. yes, her tail does tend to glitter alot making it harder to hide. the look of it resembles a whales, though thinner and covered in scales starting from the same thistle purple as her legs to a lighter plum. white diamond like scales spot it every-now-and-then and creating a belt round her waist where the tail fades into her fur. thought the tail doesn't end like a whales, it ends like the caudal fin of a betta fish. silky and spreading out like a fan or a flower. colored in plum then white at the edge. it is quite delicate looking, almost seeming useless, but it has a talent for swift maneuvers like her legs. unfortunately they aren't fast, they go slower as they are much weaker, but the swiftness does pull up the chances if escape is needed.
a voice like silver bells, smooth, light and kind. its like it doesn't know rage, but you'd be mistaken, 'cause she has a scream like hell - but she only used it once so far, when she wandered right into a herd of deer who nearly trampled her at around six months. her singing voice hardly differs from her normal voice, high pitched and calming. alice often uses her face expressions like a human used their hands, sometimes even using her paws. ( to explain things ). it may give away more then she says. if wolfs could blush or flush, alice would defiantly be a blusher. she feels flattered and embarrassed easily, at those times turning her head and eyes to face a different direction with a meek smile that her adoptive mother said made her look awfully cute, but she just gets more embarrassed by that.
her overall body structure is athletic, but prettied and small. stick like legs lift her to the approximate height of thirty-two inches. though full of invisible muscles, if one might say. and as she has never been in water she's smart on her legs. any motion she does with those legs make her look like she's floating on air. coming from someone who knows the true her, i'd say it would be easy to mistake her for a lupus. probably a cael or an extremely educated wolf about species would get the feeling that there's something different about her. Other:though healing may have seemed a little useless to her ( read more to find out why ), herbs and flowers had always been a bit different. knowing the lovely magical smells of them had built up a unforgettable need, which was to smell good. alice would say mint was her favorite, but then again there where all those lovely flowers ... oh, she couldn't choose. once finding them she'd rub her coat into them until she was sure it was strong enough to maintain at least one day.
MentalStrengths:+ kindness + thoughtfulness + singing + optimism + any athletic thing + quick learner + communication Weaknesses:- rain, water - stubbornness - self-confidence - activity without any 'action' ( healing, etc. ) - may rush into things - perfectionist - naive Personality: alice had always been bubbly and optimistic. with a soul that could penetrate any darkness and bring light to all. iris used to say she had irresistible personality, with her sweetness. upon first meetings she always survey the other, sorting them into her 'books' ( good friend, friend, like, normal, dislike, hate, enemy ) before making her first impression. usually that means she'd give a burst of kindness and sweetness, sometimes surprising the other a bit too much. alice has a puppy like enthusiasm to her. enjoying games, laughter and trying to embrace the good in everything. next to this alice may seem hyperactive when she's excited. she fidgets alot and would love to get going. she adores anything that has to do with exercise, whether it is hunting, scouting or just play games.
stubborn like hell, alice is. she has her mind set straight on her own ways, knowing that what she things is right is right. her choices aren't always perfect, i mean nobodies perfect, but they do tend to come out right. only someone who she really trusts can change her mind. though she does accept and respect the higher ranked, elders, etc she does not let them change her mind even if she says they have.
alice is also perfectionist, over thinks everything, becomes frustrated when she cannot prove herself and poor dear has a low self-confidence. she never really understood how pretty and smart she is. always wanting to be better, to be like others. it often makes her forget about thinking and just rush into things without thinking. ali's got a mixed, complex kind of personality, usually showing her happy cheerful side. it drives her mad that she has fears. fears? more then one? yes, a two bigger ones: death - the fact of leaving the beauty of nature forever is nearly as terrifying as water or even the death of someone close; water - so, its not just the fact that iris was scared of water and taught alice to be scared as well, but it also the fact that she thinks she'll suffocate or drown. rain alike. she looks at it like its poison, sheltering herself in the sight of a single grey cloud. so she decided to focus on her good side. though alice possesses a really high control over her thoughts, body and emotions (however she tends to let her emotions run loose, as she doesn't like to keep them bottled up so much)
she's honest and modest altogether. honesty was a high priority when she lived with iris, modest is just how she is. like explained before, alice would be a blusher if wolfs could do that. she thinks it helps her overcome her shyness. yes, she has a shy side too. usually with boys. she's not a tomboy, its kinda what makes her feel so uncomfortable around them, thinking she's way too girly and no one will ever like her. iris had a hard time when it came to love, taught alice never to fall for someone until she knew everything about them and that's a pretty hard thing when it comes to good looking males.
the fae often feels like an oddball, not fitting into the group of 'wolves' despite her lovely personality. though she's a huge social butterfly. always happy to meet others (wolf and other animals alike). she finds happiness in the air around others, therefore when sad she'd follow a living creature around, its like they fill up her energy bottle. she likes to make physical contact with those at least sorted in 'good friend' in the book, it keeps her calm and gives her more confidence. though when interacting with someone in a lower rank then she'd rather just stay in the air around that them. she usually feels awful when alone, but there are always times when being alone feels good and that goes to alice as well. she talks then. outloud like there was someone else there. sometimes while deep in thought and speaking her mind she starts to compose stories, songs or poems, telling them to the trees. she adores nature, finds beauty and peace within it. finding it fascinating and wishes to learn everything about it. its mountains, forests, waters, how did they get there? she has so many questions about everything, but is life just full of unanswered questions? she often turns them into poems and songs to express herself, but then why won't she sing when there is another wolf around? and here it is again: she doesn't think its good enough.
in a one sentence: alice is a complex girl, despite her efforts to live a simple, peaceful life, she is still someone who is trying to find herself. History: 'remember, live life to the fullest and i'll always be here if you need me.' those last words cascaded from iris' mouth and found their way to her ears. then alice smiled, nodded, then turned and left her childhood home. but this all happened before alice's 'real' life started. let me take you back to the beginning.
november ninth, year three. mist bounced upon the waves of monal sea, or as the folks there called it, nas. it was a cool, cloudy day, hardly any sun rays danced upon the waves when a orange pelted female heaved herself upon the dull sandy shore. no sound apart from her deep long breaths echoed at that time, no birds, no nothing, even the water seemed to quite down from its normal rocking. indeed it was a cael, a cael who was no doubt really pregnant as her belly was fat like a balloon, but even like that she was beautiful. a pale orange pelted covered in cream points that looked like tiny bubbles that rose up when escaping. a purple shade faded upwards from her legs and ears, while a white blaze crept from her nose to her forehead that trapped deep copper eyes. slowly her purple tail deformed into hind legs and she half walked, half dragged her self behind a cluster of black rocks, keeping her well hidden from view. this particular female was called tenné, the queen of ao pack - a group of caels - that lived deep within the waters of nas. apparently she was already so pregnant that she was close to giving birth to her second litter of pups or to be exact puppy as she only had one this time. so why had this wolf dragged herself upon monal shores to give birth to her only puppy? well, there was a good reason, see ao pack was ruled by a vicious king, hevis a dusty blue cael who wanted nothing more then a male heir to his throne. unfortunately tenné's last litter was a trio of girls, which displeased hevis the greatest. after weeks and weeks of pleading he let tenné keep her girls, but he ignored them to the fullest. he made tenné swear that if her next litter contained only girls again he shall kill her pups immediately.
so tenné lived in fear ever since her pregnancy. and she had the terrible hunch that this year her only puppy would be a female again. therefore she wanted to give birth to it in secret then abandoning her to spare herself from watching the day her dear new daughter would be killed. like this she wouldn't really mind, it would be alright, she could tell her husband that it was a stillborn and she had let the wild waves carry the body away.
perhaps half an hour of shallow breaths where the only sound before the squeal of the our newborn girl was born. yes, she was a female. tenné licked her clean and created a soft nest around the little girl before standing up to examine her without her tail. champagne coated her main body and the beau had inherited her mothers bubbles, but in a different way; white dapple-like markings spread across her loin and hips, a couple spotting her shoulders. she had the same purple fades upwards her legs, tip of her tail and also on her on her muzzle fading to her main body color around her foreface. her eyes ever-so beautiful as her mothers, a deep copper speckled by silver. the nameless girl was indeed gifted with the same beauty as her mother and it saddened her to have to let her go. she knew the baby wouldn't survive an hour without nutrition so with a deep sigh and a last lick tenné left to jump into the sea and finally leaving our girl alone at the lone shores of monal.
the puffs thick misty air began to clear off not long after. it was quite a sight as the sun rays began to dance again and a new wolf appeared on the scene. a lovely teal colored sennyo. lucky she had wandered around these parts or else the pup wouldn't have survived. and she was just lucky, but extremely lucky as this particular sennyo had just lost her own babies and was still full of milk. her head hung low to the ground, apparently she didn't know where she was going, because if she had she wouldn't have come anywhere near the shores 'cause this female hated water more then anything. it was the faint yip of the baby abandoned on the shores that pulled her back to reality. dark chocolate eyes took in the surroundings, along with the vast waters. her legs immediately froze, one hovering in mid air as her tail slowly pulled under her belly. her body shook with fear her eyes widened like melons. she automatically got into a position to dart, but another yip caught her attention. she glance to her left, but fae didn't see anything. her nose twitched at the faint scent which clashed with the salty air. she could smell it, but she couldn't see it. well, that was basically because the pup was the same color as the sand and well, the sennyo wasn't looking well enough. a couple steps to the left and the female saw it, a body of a newborn puppy.
the females protective motherly instincts kicked in and she quickly calculated her time. if she charged, picked up the puppy and headed back to her cozy dry den she would be able to save it ... but ... the water. a slap in the face from her own paws did it. ignoring the threatening waves she rushed behind the black rocks, morpho butterfly wings fluttering like mad as she did so. upon seeing the newborn to the full she leaned down and grasped it gently by at the middle then ran with as much speed as she could go with back to her dear home.
it took a while to get there, i mean, did you really expect a water hating wolf make a den anywhere near it? no, well, this female made her den far in the forest of ember. it was so called because of its ember colored ground, quite uncreative.
her den was overally comfortable made. under a pile of rocks guarded by a hollow oak tree, big for a single wolf, perfect for two. settling the puppy onto the pine covered ground and whispered 'don't worry, honey, iris is here.' iris, was a loner wanderer sennyo who's real name was lyric, but she had abandoned it a long time back. she was two when she thought she found true love with a yellow sennyo by the name of frost, but it turned out to be a joke. frost was a spy sent from miglow empire, arch enemy of evre hollow which was where iris was from. but she left her pack, as the members know, because of personal reasons, but in real she was kicked out ... and why? simple, she could hardy do anything from her biggest fear of water. frost knew how broken and vulnerable iris was then and knew this was the perfect time to coax information about evre hollow. iris told in a few simple stuff, nothing big, lucky. she soon grew tired of his pushy personality and his constant disappearances. that was when she found out about his true identity. he left her instantly, pregnant and alone. she gave birth to stillborns which had made her wander into the abandoned puppy.
so that was the arrival of our dear girl. not much happened to her life until her second year, but there was a little bump. iris - as mentioned before - had an unexplainable fear of water, rain, well ... anything that was wet, so she kept the biggest distance she could, therefore alice - as iris had named her - had never been in contact with water. she thought the youngster was a lupus with the most beautiful singing voice in history. seems unlikely that her tail never appeared as even a drop of water can set it off, but alice never got wet. alice didn't really care what she was, she only knew she was a wolf, nothing more - iris never told her thought of alice being a lupus. though iris was a loner she was not stupid and she took this to teach little alice. thought alice was a quick learner she never really enjoyed the same things as her adoptive mother. iris had a knack for herbs and healing with a patient and calm personality, while alice was bubbly and optimistic preferring more action. it did take a while of thinking from iris and training before alice became the 'hunter' for the little family they shared with her amazing coordination and agility. you might that thought that lived pretty isolated from others, but i'll prove you wrong. iris was kind too, making her way to the good books with a rather big amount of wanderers that often visited them. jase, a elderly chestnut coated lyxxus with the most startling emerald eyes, visited often, actually helping out iris when alice was still a baby. whilst the youngster grew quickly fond of him. calling him 'jazz. jazzy' or 'jazz-hands' since she couldn't pronounce his name at first. it stuck to him quickly. he was a fatherly figure in alice's life, or more grandfatherly. he taught her hunting when iris couldn't ( he knew of both of their fear and he didn't let alice near water either ). as she was a quick learner alice did learn about herbs and healing, but preferred to keep that in the back of her mind in case it was needed. by the age of one and a half, alice an unexpectedly talented little wolf knew more then enough to get by living alone.
half a year past with fun and learning - with no tail - and alice finally grew into a beautiful wolf like her birth mother. iris, now four years old, kept on telling alice on the day of her second birthday she would let her go into the 'real' world. let me take you back to that time.
november ninth, year five. then sun was shining at its full, even for the november air it was warm, shining right into that small meadow part encircled by a bare oak forest where alice sat, tail sweeping the cold ground. her brown eyes following a butterfly with great interest as always. 'you are extraordinary beautiful, you know that, don't you?' she spoke to the butterfly. thought she wasn't sure they could understand her, alice still spoke to any living creature around. 'alice, honey, where are you?' iris' voice came through the trees. without taking her eyes off the butterfly alice replied, 'in the circle, mom.' the circle was that little meadow spot where alice often came. 'oh, right, honey,' her adoptive mother trotted up next to her. 'are you letting me leave home and travel anywhere i want to?' alice cut in before her mother could say anything. she had felt it was coming and it made bubbles of excitement erupt from her belly. 'yes, yes, that's why. do you think you're ready?' she spoke with a smile, as she was used to her knowing what she was going to say, well it really was no surprise, alice was intelligent. 'i think so. i'll be sad to leave you and home, but there is always something new out there i've got to know.' she tore her eyes away from the butterfly as she answered. 'i love how you're always so optimistic. now, i suggest you head out soon 'cause i don't want you traveling much at nightfall.' iris said then hugged her adopted daughter. alice suppressed a laugh and hugged mother back. 'okay, i will do so.'
they headed back to the den, there they talked for a while, breaths floating out in mists, until they both decided it was best to go. giving one last hug to her daughter, she said, 'remember, live life to the fullest and i'll always be here if you need me.' those last words cascaded from iris' mouth and found their way to her ears. then alice smiled, nodded, then turned and left her childhood home. alice never was one to say goodbyes and neither was iris. finally the youngster made her way into the lands of wonderwhy of which she is yet to explore.

Hello Elle and welcome to Wonderwhy! My name is Somatra and I will be going over your bio today, things look pretty good. Generally Cael aren't good at all things athletic, land maneuvering can pose problems, but since you built her history so that she never really was introduced to swimming then this is fine. You've followed our profile form very nicely and are officially good to go! Have fun and enjoy your time with us, thank you for giving Wonderwhy a go.
