Here on WonderWhy we have rapid pup aging. This comes with continuity issues that we have now found a solution to. A pup will age twice as fast until they reach sexual maturity. So roughly, one month real time equals two months game time. To keep a pup from growing up too fast and messing up the history with their parents, once they reach sexual maturity, they must freeze at that age for another year. This will take one real time year for most of the species. Once two real time years pass, they will continue to age normally. A more detailed explanation, including all the charts, is located here: Charater Guide: Rapid Pup Aging and Age FreezingThis also helps to flesh out some of the longer/shorter lived species rapid pup aging charts as well. Note: This only applies to pups born on the site. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask a staff member. We also want to remind you that keeping track of your pup age is your responsibility, not the staff's. You are welcome to add a slot on your pup's profile that says what month and site year they were born to help you out.
