[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][tr][bg=black]The wind buffeted all trees and shrubs, the chilling air engulfing all and everything around the cool pool of water. A shift in the scenery revealed a hidden yagi that was quite large, wide hungry umber eyes watched as a small and injured fawn crossed the clearing.
Then, the wind blew the opposite direction; the male made his move. He pounced.
The camouflage was broken but by the time the fawn had realized this, it was too late. His saber fangs piercing through it's windpipe and snapping the spine. A quick and painless death, it at least deserved that. His breathing was slow and labored as he took hsi time to savor his kill.
You're blood will not be in vain. He thought quietly to himself as his curled ram horns gleamed in the midday sun. His slender tail began to wag slowly as he tore through the tender flesh. Blood splattering all over his face and down his chest as he laid out and put a paw possessively over his meal.
When he had eaten his fill, the yagi licked his paws and decided to wash himself of by taking a short swim in the springs nearby. The chilling water was warm from the sun's rays as it tickled the yagi's forest colored coat. He sighed in relief as his strong limbs kicked in the water. It had been a while since he had taken a swim.
Then the wolf made it to the bank again as he shook all the water droplets from his pelt, the fur bristling and puffing out all over his body. The large male slowly began to drag his carcass towards the tree he had hidden near digging a hole to save the rest for later. Maybe he would hang out in this area for awhile. There were plenty of prey and a source of water. He couldn't imagine going back to his old home where the body of his friend was rotting away. It sent chills down his spine. Surely Nelio or some other cael would find the body eventually, and who else would they blame?
So the wolf decided, after digging a deep enough hole to drop his prey in, that staying away from the cove was his safest bet, at least for now. Jittery eyes and muscles reacting to every single movement nearby.

Dreamith didn't know what to do. She felt cold, without her love. They did... love... each other at one point... didn't they? Yes... yes of course they did. She loved Nelio from the first time she bumped into him. Maybe if she had stayed childish.. innocent... he would have stayed with her. No.. no it was the other, it was her fear. Another took over... the pain in her heart was like a poison... so painful.. dieing slowly. She didn't understand.
She didn't understand why the poison killed her... and yet she wont die from it. No.. she won't die from loosing Nelio, as much as it pained her. But even if loosing him didn't kill her.. it didn't mean that she wanted to live without him. And yet she knew she was stronger then that... stronger then him. She would not give up on life, she would not give up the fight. She just wished that she could make the pain....stop...the pain...stop.
That was why Dreamith was in the cold mountains. She was in the water that was shaded, that way it was extra cold. The water wasn't to terribly deep, but it was dark and cold. She was on her back, on the bottom of the water. Bubbles came out of her mouth every once in a while but her breathing was mostly slow. The pain did not stop at all, the coldness only slowed down her blood flow and her heart beat. She had to get out.
But she didn't want to. She wanted to stay in that cold water... the water was so calm... no one would care if she disappeared. Especially not Lio... he would just forget about her... all she would be to him is the girl he once knew that one time. And now... nothing. Dreamith closed her eyes and let herself slowly float up to the surface. Once she breathed in the air, is sent a shiver through her like a shock and she gasped.
Her eyes now wide open, she looked around. The area was a forest with other water spots. She sighed and dragged herself out of the water, soaking wet and shivering. Her black and blue tale laid uselessly as she dragged herself on the land. She then saw some golden horns behind a tree and the bottom half was of a wolf. She blinked. She thought she might have recognized the wolf but she couldn't see his face.
She quietly dragged herself closer and was able to see his face more, she did recognize him. She hadn't seen him since the performance. "Umm... Hello-o th-there! C-Crow wasn't i-it? It's-It's Dreami-ith." She said to the other wolf. Her teeth her chattering and her body was shaking. Luckily, it would ware off soon, along with her tail, since she was in the warm sun now. The nice, warm, dry, sun.

The yagi literally jumped, who was calling him? Who knew his name? They found out didn't they?! He had to beg for mercy, he didn't mean it. It was an accident. Right? He spun around and noticed the white wolf before him, how he was entranced by her silver eyes and ebony paws. His breathing hitched, his heartbeat quickening as he began to sweat. The green wolf felt his mouth become dry as he, unintentionally, backed into the tree he was once standing next to. Dazed and confused, he shouted to the other wolf.
"How, who... oh.. Dr-dreamith?" He remembered she was with Nelio before and how Tor had not liked her. Wasn't she Nelio's mate?! He gulped. Where was the brown fish?! If he wanted to fight, crow could take him! He didn't, no, he NEVER deserved Tor. He felt like he was going to be sick. In fact... between the last couple of days he had not eaten, his stomach churned and he spun around behind the tree as his recent meal came up.
After the burning sensation in his throat had subsided for a moment, he looked back towards the other cael with wide and fearful eyes. His whole body began to tremble as the tears began to flow again. As if he was reliving the experience all over again.
"I....it...was an accident... I didn't... I swear...." Crow's whole body convulsing now as he tried to take deep breaths and calm himself. Then he screamed at her with a low howl. his voice still ridged from all the sobbing the couple of days before. "Stay away from me! I'm a murderer!" his cries now muffled as he fell over on his side, utterly defeated and helpless, the warm tears still streaking his face.
He was broken. She was broken.
They were both outcasts now, that were thrown away.

Dreamith watched shakily and cold at the seemingly very edgy Yagi. When she had first met the horned wolf, she thought him very handsome and healthy looking but now the wolf seemed nearly the quite opposite. What had happened to him after he had left the Accord lands? She gasped slightly as he threw up behind a tree. It made her own stomach turn but she kept it in her stomach. She continued to tremble as the male began to speak though for some odd reason, they didn't make any sense to her. What was it that he was saying? Something about... about an accident? What was an accident? She didn't exactly understand.
Dreamith's jaw dropped slightly when he cried out to stay away from him and that he was a murderer. She couldn't imagine him being as such. When he fell and she saw the tears fall down, it reminded her greatly of the way she must have looked, the last time Nelio would ever see her. Just the thought of it again brought tears to her eyes and one she lost control of and it fell down her own white cheek. Dreamith had been hurt badly by both herself and Nelio. The Cael wondered what pained the Yagi so terribly or...or really... why was it he claimed himself to be a murderer. And... if he truly was... who was it that he had killed?
Finally, after another painful moment of looking at the broken wolf, she couldn't handle just standing around doing nothing. She pushed his shouts at the back of her mind and quickly dragged herself to him. The white wolf pulled him in towards her a bit with her neck and head behind his horns and her slowly drying tail around him a little bit, in an attempt to comfort him. "Shh...sh....Crow.... everything is going to be alright...." She said as her body shook coldly. "I-I don't know what you mean by you... you killed another wolf but...surely you didn't mean it. If it hurt you this badly, surely it wasn't completely you... sometimes...perhaps hate.. hate blinds us.... and we do stupid things..." A single tear dropped again from her eyes as she momentarily thought of Nelio.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][tr][bg=black]Then the unexpected happen, and she came closer to him. Her own face laced with burning sorrow. He paused for a moment to take in all that was happening, the raging mad man inside him, vanished for now. As he started to think clearer, he nodded to dreamith. He began to sob into her white pelt as he muttered.
"Y-you don't know what it's like... to never have a mother hold you. To never want you... to have killed your best friend because of rage. It may have been stupid... but I will regret it the rest of my life." The yagi shook as the hot tears continued to fall onto the cold ground. His tail wrapping around them both to help keep them warm.
"I..I'm sorry... he... he doesn't deserve you.. or Tor..." his eyes opening again to look into her own blue ones. There was nothing more he wanted to do more than to stay there in the same space with her. At the same time, he was afraid for her safety. He slowly turned to her, and licked away her tears to try and comfort her. Just because he was upset, didn't mean he needed to bring her down too.
"I...I'm scared." he admitted as he shifted. "I don't know what to do, but I don't want to hurt anyone again...I didn't mean to. Honest." he whimpered then gulped. Would this cael flee from him too? It would only be the most logical thing since he could easily take her down too... if he wanted to.
But he didn't want to. He wanted her to stay. He never dreaded being along so much until now. Knowing that someone shared his feelings and felt the same way. Just tossed to the side by everyone you care about.
"I... I understand if you wish to leave, it's not safe... being around me.." he turned away from her in shame as he closed his eyes and sighed heavily.

Dreamith's coldness nearly completely vanished once Crow wrapped his own tail them. He never had a mother that wanted him... and he had killed... killed his best friend, something he would regret forever, and she felt extremely sad for him. What a life... was a life the poor Yagi seemed to have lived and she was only finding about it now. She wished they could have met on a happier occasion. Anything but this sad and dreary one. And for a moment, as they kept each other close, Dreamith was almost... content, not exactly like she had been with Nelio but... almost as if she had a guardian, someone wonderful so near.
She then listened as Crow began to speak of Nelio... oh she didn't want to hear that name again. It would cause her such pain to listen to it every single time. She looked into his eyes for a moment as he looked into her own. Some how looking into them... gave her some warming comfort. Her heart almost seemed to sigh in relief when Crow licked away her tears. Perhaps it was because she now knew that she wasn't completely and utterly alone. That she had someone to be with... at least for now. And she didn't mind his company in the least bit. She continued to look at him when he spoke that he was scared.
He said that he didn't want to hurt anybody again, and she completely believed him. Crow did not seem to be the type to enjoy seeing others in pain. Dreamith then stared at him for a moment, slightly confused when he said that he would understand if she wanted to leave. Really, that was one of the last things she wanted to do right now. And she could feel that she needed him as much as he needed her. She shook her head slightly and nuzzled slightly into his neck. "No... I am not going to leave you. Truth be told, I feel much more safe being with you then being on my own." She said quietly.
Dreamith then closed her eyes tight. "And Nelio...oh Nelio... Things have changed greatly between him and I. Things are much more... different." She said as her heart threatened to shatter further. "Nelio...he... he and I are not... not mates anymore... I don't care to remember how it all exactly came to be... but... but I don't-no... I can't love him any more. And perhaps-perhaps we are better without each other. Maybe the outcome of all of this will out due the pain it had started with." She said, nuzzling him further more. She just needed to be with someone... and Crow seemed willing to listen.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][tr][bg=black][[sorry for the brain fart xD it's terribly shorter than the other posts D8]]
The forest colored yagi felt a small flame of hope ignite inside of himself. Maybe he could still live and be happy, even if it wasn't with Tor. He turned back to face the white cael as she got closer to him. She genuinely needed him and he needed her, deep down they both couldn't live without one or the other. So he finally made up his mind.
"You don't have to be alone.. ever again..." he comforted her as he softly whispered in her ear, putting a paw over her neck as he nuzzled her affectionately. Was this, what love felt like? Crow pushed all questions to the back of his head. Maybe it was better not to worry or think about such trivial things for now. Then he remembered the fawn he had caught earlier.
"Oh!" he sat up as he rushed over and dug up the prey he had buried only moments before. He pulled the remaining leg out and felt heat rush to his face as he brought it to Dreamith. "I.. uh.. you can have it. I kinda, uhm.. I'm not hungry..." he chuckled lightly as he nudged it over to her, his tail wagging.
Could you just simply have a friend the next day, die and then make another new one to fit their place? Crow was a bit skeptical but sure it could be true. After all, it made sense.

[Naw it's fine ^^]
You don't have to be alone... ever again. When those words came to her ears, the sun seemed to shine brighter. Her heart seemed to hum as he nuzzled her. Oh it was so nice to have someone.... someone so close so soon. She wasn't sure how long she would survive by herself, since most of the time she had been with Nelio and constantly around Nelio. No! She would not -should not think about Nelio anymore. He had broken her and she had broken him, though surely not as greatly. There was no need to think about him anymore.
She then watched as Crow quickly got up and pulled out a leg from a prey. At the sight of it, she instantly began to drool, though she kept it in her mouth. She hadn't eaten since she was on the Accord's land and that had been quite the trip and time. When he offered it to her, she smiled for the first time in a while. "Thank you so much Crow." She said then went at the food- politely of course. It was good to have something in her stomach again. And when she finished, she licked her muzzle clean and looked back at Crow.
"Thank you Crow... for letting me stay... and giving me the food. It's nice to have someone after such... events. It would be lovely if I could continue to stay in your presence. It will be nice that we could keep each other company... and hopefully keep each other in relatively good spirits... and maybe help keep each other sane as well too." She said, smiling and chuckling a bit at the end as she attempted humor to continue to lighten to mood. Though it wasn't that funny, considering both of their current situations.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][tr][bg=black]"Keep each other sane? I like that idea... heh. The great spirits know I need it the most.." Crow laughed back as he then stretched and slowly stood. He began to wonder what they would do now. What was there to do? He wasn't sure about dreamith, but he had taken his following year to make a couple friends and travel the lands. What more did he need to do? They could always join a pack, he guessed.
At least Dreamith would be safer that way. He thought to himself, it was weird having to speak to someone, they couldn't just hear your thoughts, you had to voice them. But, it was for the better, Crow wasn't the best at knowing when to think things and when to speak them.
Then a big question came up in his mind, now that he had someone to look to. "Dreamith..." he asked. "What's it like to have a mate? Do you have to be in love to have one? How do you know you love them?" he wondered a loud. Even if it wasn't the best time and place to ask. He figured they had all the time in world to do as they please now. What else would they do to waster time?
"What should we do now? I mean, I've seen the world, made friends, and even was part of something I truly belonged in. I don't even know where I would fit in now." the only packs he had ever considered were the accord and the children. The children, he knew, is where Brightness lived... but how would he feel if he found out about the acts he had committed? So, scratch that. What about the accord? Raynor would understand, right? No, too close for comfort. Maybe, if they joined a pack, they would need something completely new?
"The only thing I can think of , is joining a pack..." he rolled onto his back as he scratched an itch and let the sun bake his stomach. "But.." he rolled over.
"I can't even begin to pick and choose one... I have too much fun wandering too...hmmm..." he thought. Do we even need a pack to survive? Well, maybe if Dreamith ever had puppies-wait.
Crow shot up now "Dreamith! You don't have puppies do you?!?! Ya know.. because you had a mate and stuff?!?! Or does it not work that way??" the forest colored yagi settled down now, a bit confused as to what he was even trying to ask.
"I guess as long as neither of us have puppies then we don't need to worry about a pack then... and I'm pretty sure I can't have puppies... at least... I think so anyways..." the male wolf sweat dropped as he let his tail wag slowly behind him as he sat up.
