The fire pup pranced boldy across the towering cliffside. It had begun as a great idea for an adventure, just going high enough to see the sights. But now Vindict was too scattered to go back the way he came.. so he decided not to look down and to keep going up higher.
"Psh, this will be a piece of jackalope!" he grinned as he slowly strode up further, more than once almost having the wind blow him off or knock him into the side of the cliff and knock him out cold.
The blue pup continued along the treacherous path, kicking a few rocks playfully off the edge and towards the bottom. Then he noticed another wolf not far off below him.
"Hey! Watch this!" He yelled to get there attention as he paused, a gap in the path. Vindict was pretty sure.. no, positive, he could make the jump. Even his lame brain sister could with one paw tied behind her back. So he snickered as he backed up some, preparing to jump.
He kicked dust behind him like a raving bull, then, without a second thought, the blue heir ran. He bounded towards the gap and felt the ledge leave his footing as the pup jumped through the air.

"Speaking"
Jazling had been a part of the pack for a good little while now, though she hadn't been around the other pack members much since the first time she met the queen and Raynor. Well of course, it hadn't been the first time that she had met Raynor. No... she had known him once before.... she was looking forward to being able to speak to him and see him more frequently however, since they had first talked with each other on the pack lands... their commutations lacked once again and she hadn't seen him since. But no matter. She would speak to him soon she was sure, she just had to run into him at some point... the Great Spirit put her here for a purpose after all.
Perhaps the Great Spirit had meant for it to be this way. For her to see Raynor just one more time... to finally thank him for the single kindness he did for her all those years ago. But even so, she wished she could have further become something more solid with Raynor. Then again, the one way you could make the Great Spirit laugh the hardest is when you tell it your plans. There for, Jazling tried her best to not plan to far ahead. For her plans did not matter at all compared to the Great Spirit's plan. And what next happened with Jazling, weather it was part of the Great Spirit's plan or not, the next events she could not have possibly planed or readied herself for.
Jazling was exploring the lands, though she had come here before and she preferred to stay closer to the water, she wanted to keep herself acquainted with all of the pack's land. It was a pleasant and quiet time, it usually was around these parts. And these were one of the times that she was letting the Great Spirit wander her through the land, taking where ever her heart lead her and her spirit felt most free. It was truly a blessing, she felt so much more free being in the pack then she had been when she was a loner. She loved it here, she could truly call this place home. And she knew that the Great Spirit meant for her to be here, she could feel it in her whole being.
The blue Cael abruptly stopped when a few rocks fell from above her. Suppose it was possible that a prey animal above her had knocked it down. But before she could take another step forward, her attention was called from where the rocks had fell from above her. There was a fairly young pup above and he... he planned to jump?! Jazling gasped and found the quickest way up on the other side where the pup planned to land. She did not want this pup to die... he didn't deserve it and the Great Spirit couldn't allow it! When she got to the top, he was already half way across jumping. Jazling automatically began praying and then jumped forward while still being on the ledge to catch him.
Jazling just barely caught him by the scruff and she pulled him away from the ledge onto her side and put him down gently. Her breathing was heavy and her heart thudded like a herd of stampeding hoof-footed prey animals. "Oh! Oh my dear boy... you nearly gave me a heart attack! Don't you ever do that again... that was very dangerous and you might have not made it!" She panted heavily. "Oh thank the Great Spirit that your alright... oh dear....what-what is your name dear? I am Jazling." She said softly and with a gentle and weary smile. She was really very quite glad that the Great Spirit allowed her to catch the boy just in time.

For a moment, the pup felt like he was flying like a winged wolf, high up in the sky. What were they called again? He would have to take the time to ask them one of these days. Then, something latched onto the back of his neck like him mother and father usually did. He writhed in the other wolf's jaws.
Then they landed on the other side and she promptly dropped him. He spun around and bristled, growling and yipping at her. "Hey! What was that for?! I could have made it without your help! Is that how you treat an heir to your pack?" Vindict glared his red eyes at the blue wolf. Even if she only meant well, Vindict would not have it. He was almost old enough to take care of himself!
"Jazzling? What kind of name is that?" he muttered, then looked back down, feeling a bit dizzy. "I'm Vindict Hakonsson; oldest son of Keinvarii and Acelan." he stood proudly as he puffed out his chest, then he started to think, maybe they shouldn't be up so high trying to have a casual conversation... and while Vindict would never agree to it otherwise. He needed help to get back down now.
"Do you think, just this once..." he kicked at the ground ad he avoided her gaze before finally looking up with big round red puppy eyes. "You could help me down?" he pouted. this fire pup decided he was done playing up in the heights.
