OOC: Hi every one! This is my first rp post here, I'm incredibly excited! Sorry if it's not the best. I'd like the alpha to reply to this but everyone is welcome. Also I made this then Co-Admin wanted to rp with my wolf so this is mainly for me and her but don't be timid to join. I don't bite...but Clare might!

A large green figure laid by her pack's short term traveling home. They had been traveling to the Jungle when the bear attacked. Clare laid there acting completely out of character, she'd given up on life. Every breath, slight movement, and rustle of air blowing gently on her hurt. Her wounds had begun a small unnoticeable infection and she looked totally different than usual. Laying there helplessly and allowing herself to die. As thoughts of her family raced through her mind she eventually decided she had to find her pups, they needed her. Standing on wobbly legs she moved closer to the pond and drank. She realized just how parched she was and greedily drank wetting her dry throat and mouth. She felt new energy, not much though. Forcing herself to stop, in fear of being sick in the stomach, she turned away and limped to a fallen tree. She scratched at it making splinters fly as the decaying wood gave away. Soon she found her prize, a large plump grub. She ate it then dug for some more till she felt the need to leave the wretched place, in the end she found five grubs and some ants. It wasn't much, nor satisfying, but she felt much better and it took some of edge of her hunger off. She walked all day heading east toward Amethyst Lake. When nightfall came she huddled under a slab of rock guttering off a large bolder.
At the first ray of sunlight she rose each and every day and found grubs, mice, and other small snacks to eat till on her seventh days she got lucky. The smell of warm thick milk mixed with bunny sent gave her strength. Eagerly she pushed on at a brisk pace towards the sent, loping forward. Food, food, food! Her mind screamed but grabbing her wits the yagi slowed. Jackalopes where dangerous and with any luck momma would be around. Getting on her belly she stalked through the grass slowly till she reached it.
She stared at the plump female jackalope facing away from her. It was leaving it's vonerble young to get food and this was her chance but she wasn't to sure. Temptation made her want to kill the mum but she held it back and waited till the she left before invading her den. It wasn't a whole but a unprotected dent in the ground with babies...stupid young mom. She thought before starting to eat from the shallow spot. The warm bodies tasted good and the soft bones where nice on her face wounds. The taste of fatty milk in them felt all so awarding but she stopped eating and left two babies alive. She didn't want to take them all away from the poor mom and hoped this would teach the antlered bunny a lesson. That day had been good for Clare but the rest where harsh and by the twelfth day of her lonely journey fever took her over. Infection spread threw her and she could barley move.
The morning had a crisp tang in the air as Clare staggered alone freezing even if it was a hot day. In her mind she was lost and looking for her pack but in reality she had made them leave her. A beautiful howl rang in the air rushing across tge dense wolf, it was to inform the pack of prey. With the fever it turned and twisted and churned int her mind and came out as a call from her family mourning over their lost...her. She broke out into a run, ripping open the long jagged wound spilling out puss and clumpy blood. In her hallucination it seemed she didn't notice. She howled back repeating, I'm here! I'm here! I'm alive! I'm here, I'm alive! The beautiful melody rang out in her surroundings and she passed the sent marks. She began to bark loudly, "I'm here! I'm not dead! Wait! I'm here! I'm alive!" She sped out of the woods near the lake and thought she saw her mate and pups staggering behind the pack up ahead but it was only thin air, "Dominic wait!" She yelled catching up. The wolves turned and rushed to her. Greeting one another though in real life she was talking to air and nuzzling it. Soon the fever got the better of her and her eyes rolled back. She collapsed entering a deep dark lonely sleep. Clare was strong and most wolves would already be dead by now on their own and without a healer. Her ribs moved as she breathed lightly. She went from being freezing suddenly to blazing hot but didn't stir.
