The Sennyo couldn't sleep. The water was too loud, the sand was too gritty. All around, Adi had chosen a terrible place to bed down for the night. The moon shone brightly down on her dark fur making her look ethereal in her beauty. The female's wings gave off a slight shimmer, and Adi smiled to herself at her beauty.
She lifted an ebony foot and shook it slightly in a futile attempt to rid it of the sand. Licking the foot, her face screwed up at the grit inside of her mouth. Fadiya rubbed the sleep out of her eyes with her now clean foot, and spat into the sand to her left. Standing, the Sennyo's dark, almond shaped eyes scanned her surroundings leisurely. The stars, with their little pinpricks of light made her visibility that much better.
Taking in the gently lapping waters that reflected the moons light so perfectly, she compared its beauty, to her own. She softly padded the few feet to where the water swept onto the shores and let it cover her toes before it receded back into the never ending expanse of itself. Adi closed her eyes and relished in the feeling of the cool water, and looked back up into the sky. 'Where do I belong?' the Sennyo thought to herself.
Letting her wings relax into the sides of her body, she waded further out into the water, until it just touched her underbelly and stared down into its depth, careful of the dangers it may hold. Fadiya's stomach let out a slight growl. It had been quite some time since her last meal. A flash of silver caught the tall females attention and she quickly flashed a paw to it in hopes of catching the fast swimming fish. Her claws found purchase, but the fish was quicker than she could grab it and it swam away from her, leaving a small trail of its blood in its wake.
Sighing, Adi looked in front of her, and turned to leave the waters for fear that the fishes blood would attract some unwanted creatures. The dark femme walked back to where she had originally lie and flopped back down, tired now, and not caring about the sand that may stick to her whispy coat.
DREAM:
Running. Running. Feet thumping the ground as Fadiya ran as quickly as she possibly could away. Glancing back over her shoulder the female caught a glimpse of what it was that she was running from. Erahn. How had he found her? What would he want with her? 'He left me for dead, why would he want me again?' she sped her pace up, but her long legs were still no match for the power of the Yagi male.
Erahn, seemingly walking, quickly caught up to the Sennyo, and soon they came upon a cliff. Regardless of Adi having wings, she could not leap and fly away, she was trapped. Erahn walked towards her, his head held high, "What're you going to do now?" he taunted her. Adi looked back and forth frantically, her eyes wide and showing the whites. "Yes. That's how your parents looked, right before I killed them." he told her with malice in his voice.
Adi's eyes narrowed, and she turned and jumped from the cliff, screaming. She would rather die on her own terms.
END DREAM
Adi's eyes darted back and forth underneath her lids, and she made slight whimpering noises before her lids flew open and she began to pant with fear. Her head jerked up and she scanned her surroundings again, before relaxing and settling down once she determined the male was not in her vicinity. 'Will I ever, truly be safe?'

Soft paws quickly and quietly padded onto the ground. Eira knew she was going to be punished. She knew she was far from her pack lands. By the looks and smells of it, she was all the way in the Southern Lands. She knew she should've never tried to chase a passing jackalope out of the territory. It was getting colder, and Eira's tails flew behind her and she ran around, thinking that she was choosing each path wisely to get back to the Enclave. "Why, why did I have to act so pup like? Reminds me of a keiyou a once saw." Oh quit your whining. I can't believe you were so foolish to act like- oh wait- you always act like this! Hahahaha! The voice of her father in her mind ringed. His laugh made her wince, and there was nothing Eira could do to get rid of this horrid beast. "What now, Shasta?" You smell that? Smells like the beach. Wow. You are so idiotic you can't even hear or smell the beach! Eira stopped dead in her tracks as she noticed her father was right, for once. A slight breeze came, and that's when Eira snapped. There was a scent of a wolf, not too far away. Eira crouched low to the ground, and started to walk towards the direction of the smell. She could feel it getting stronger, and her nostrils were filled with the smell of a sandy wolf. Eira wagged one tail, but kept the other one still. The wagging was for if the wolf was good, and the still one was for if the wolf wasn't very nice.
Eira stopped, and she knew that was another bad mistake, because the wolf was moving. It was dreaming. Eira looked for a place to hide, but she knew it was no use for her bright red fur coat. Then, she just stood there, watching, waiting, and hoping the wolf wouldn't see her and attack. A little bit later, the wolf was whimpering. She must've been having a nightmare. Eira used to, and still does, have terrible nightmares. All of them have the same, shadowy figure that haunts her in her mind. Her father. Eira remembered once when she encountered a fairly rude Lupus. He's in the same pack as her now, but when they first encountered, when Eira was a loner, he treated her like she was a pile of crunchy fall leaves that a bear just took a steaming one on. Eira waited for her father to say something, but he too, was quiet. Then, out of nowhere, the wolf shot her head up and looked around nervously.
Eira was then sure the wolf spotted her, so she started walking towards the wolf, and smiled once she was 4 yards away. "'Ello there, lovey, I am Eira. I noticed you were having a nightmare, so I thought I might stick around to see if you were alright y the time you awoke.

The winds from the lands around her whistled slightly in her ears, which admittedly were a bit too large for her dainty face. The Sennyo held her wings close to her body, for fear of a tear in the delicate skin. Adi's heart still pounded with the memory of her dream, but even that was fading now. The dreams never lingered long in her memory.
Suddenly, even through the whistling of the wind, Fadiya heard a soft padding noise, like the sounds of paws on the sand behind her. She was glad now, for her overly sized ears, which honestly just made her more attractive. Since she was downwind from the noises, she was unable to scent the wolf. Her head whipped around, and she was quickly on her feet to run, if the wolf turned out to be Erahn. Squinting her eyes slightly, she took in the bright red pelted wolf. Scoffing quietly, she noticed the two tails on her rear, and cocked her head slightly. 'I wonder how I would look with two tails...' she thought before picturing herself as such.
Deciding to walk a few steps forward, Adi caught the sound of the wolfs voice carried towards her by the wind. "Ello there, lovey, I am Eira. I noticed you were having a nightmare, so I thought I might stick around to see if you were alright by the time you awoke." The sentiment seemed kind enough to Adi, and she seriously contemplated her answer before speaking. Gratitude, or rudeness?
Rudeness always seemed the way Adi would go, but the memory of the dream lingered on and made her hesitate before offering her rich sounding soprano to the other female. "I'm Fadiya." she began simply enough, keeping her tone of voice in check, "I... I appreciate your kindness?" The statement came out sounding like a question, and for that Adi chastised herself. This femme was going to think her weak, and that just wouldn't do.
"But, you needn't have done that. Besides, it's not like you could have done anything to help," This she said with a bit of snark in her voice, her ever present rudeness shining through, and Adi wondered if she would ever make a real friend, who would put up with her bull.
OOC: I'm sorry this is so short D: I fail. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of RPing. Forgive me?!

Eira twitched her ear and nodded slightly as the wolf said her name. Wow, this wolf has a nice name! I wish I was named that! I wish you were never born Oh why isn't that lovely? Eira then snapped back to life once she heard the wolf speak again. She smiled and wagged both of her tails now, slightly. "I... I appreciate your kindness?" Eira thought to herself that the nightmare must've been horrid, because of how the unsure wolf talked. The waves were calming, and the tide was a little higher than usual, but Eira wouldn't have noticed because of these new surroundings. "But you needn't have done that. Besides, it's not like you could have done anything to help Eira wagged her tails more as she ignored the wolf's tone of voice, and took a step closer. When she sees the bright sides of things, it could be a good and bad thing for her, but she doesn't mind, so Eira continued smiling, "I know, but I have been having nightmares a lot, well, more than usual actually. The weird thing is, it has been the same dream for the past few days. Never mind me, but I just wanted to help you out, make sure you weren't... You know, insane, or something. Well, every wolf actually has a touch of insanity inside of them, even if they've never noticed it, they have it there."
Eira sighed and sight down, looking at the starts in the sky. There weren't many visible as usually, but there were a lot. Her tails thumped the ground slowly as she softly blinked. When she took her head down from gazing off into space, she looked the wolf in the eyes, "Isn't the sand uncomfortable to sleep in? I would rather sleep in snow. Even though it's cold, I find it soothing, especially when I'm in my den!" Eira then quickly went back to looking at the sky, as if the only thing she came down from was to give an opinion about comfort. The next thing she knew, she slightly started to sway back in forth. The crashing of the waves, the stars, the moon, it was all just peaceful. Right then and there, Eira forgot about everything. She wasn't stressed or freaking out anymore, and she wasn't mad at herself. She was comfortable.
Swaying with the wind
Swaying
Swaying
Eira's heavy eyes blinked slowly as her pupils moved rapidly around, looking at the beautiful sky scenery. Oh how she wished she was a rouge keiyou. She could be free, flying wherever she wanted to, without a care in the world, just flying. No worries, letting her wings take care of things. Eira then, slowly taking her head down with a big long sigh, said quietly, "Beautiful Sennyo are graceful, Lupuses are magical, Keiyou have wings, Kukkia have plants, Yagi have horns, Whisp's can turn into mist, Caella are excellent swimmers, Eremus have hooves. What can Lyxxi do? They have nothing special. You are really lucky. I wish I looked like you. I wish I looked like some sort of Keiyou, but had the looks of a angelic Sennyo like you."
A breeze came from the crashing waves, and Eira shook her head as the slight draft ruffled her fur. Her blue eye's sparkled. Eira believed she was right. She knew she was right. Lyxxi just look like cats. Nothing more, nothing less. They aren't know for flight, or grace, or magic. Just being there. Might as well be an odd colored wolf from long ago when they were dark colors. Eira remembered when her mate told her about the stars and The Olden Packs. Oh how she missed him. They never had pups, and they never had the chance to. Eira sighed and looked down. Another wind came, and the waves began to grow.

Eyes narrowed, Adi took in the she-wolf a little more closely. Bright red in color, with muddy colored ears. Her eyes were quite striking, though the Sennyo would never say. Fadiya thought of her own almond shaped brown eyes, and sighed internally. 'Why can't I have pretty eyes?' the female thought to herself. Continuing in her once over of the wolf in front of her, she noted the gray paws, and seeming lack of claws. The Sennyo's gaze caught a movement in the read of Eira, and her eyes flitted to the two tails hanging from her rump again.
Perplexed, Adi actually cocked her head to the side, examining them. The red coloring, and blue eyes, and the tails all solidified the thought in Adi's mind that this wolf was a Lyxxus. Wracking her mind, she tried to remember anything she had heard about the species in all her years on this earth. Coming up fairly blank, Adi listened to the words carrying towards her as the brightly colored wolf took a step closer to her.
"I know, but I have been having nightmares a lot, well, more than usual actually. The weird thing is, it has been the same dream for the past few days. Never mind me, but I just wanted to help you out, make sure you weren't... You know, insane, or something. Well, every wolf actually has a touch of insanity inside of them, even if they've never notice it, they have it there." Adi's eyes narrowed even further and she took a step towards the femme, regardless of the smile on her muzzle, the words that spewed from it offended Adi greatly. "I can assure you, wolf," Adi elected not to use the wolfs given name, "I am far from insane," she ground out not nicely.
Though the Sennyo had already responded to the other wolfs comment, she couldn't help but wonder if she was, indeed insane. Her night terrors, her paranoia, her pathological need to lie, and her consistent rudeness, even when she wanted to be kind? Wouldn't that add up to a wolf who is crazy? Or at least GO crazy sometime in the near future? Fadiya shook her head forcefully, as if shaking the thoughts right out of her skull.
"And as I already said, I do NOT need the help from the likes of YOU," she said with a cock of her head, and a bat of her eyelashes. The she-wolf sat her haunches on the ground, sighing, and Adi too lowered herself to the sand, her muscles still tense in the case she would need to run from Erahn.
"Isn't the sand uncomfortable to sleep in? I would rather sleep in snow. Even though it's cold, I find it soothing, especially when I'm in my den!" Eira said, before glancing back at the stars. Adi's head returned to it's normal position, and she brought a paw out of the sand, brushing against her chest in a futile attempt to brush off some of the clinging sand. Feeling self conscious, she looked away, towards the water.
"Beautiful Sennyo are graceful, Lupus' are magical, Keiyou have wings, Kukkia have plants, Yagi have horns, Whips's can turn into mist, Caella are excellent swimmers, Eremus have hooves. What can Lyxxi do? They have nothing special. You are really lucky. I wish I looked like you. I wish I looked like some sort of Keiyou, but had the looks of an angelic Sennyo like you." Adi gaped slightly, before recovering and snapping her jaws closed with a audible click of the teeth.
Her wings fluttered, and she felt extremely flattered. Adi honestly thought the Lyxxus in front of her was quite pretty, and under normal circumstances, she would never admit it out loud. Thinking, Adi decided she would not wish her looks on anyone. If Erahn ever saw even another wolf who looked like her, even in the slightest, he would not hesitate to kill it. No, she would never have pups for fear of Erahn recognizing her in them. She wished she looked like the small Lyxxus, with her two tails and twinkling eyes.
"Oh. No, you don't wish to look like me, not at all," she said nodding along with her words, "You are unique, and special, just the way you are. I mean, look at your tails! Those are very pretty swaying with the wind! And your blue eyes? Mine are boring and brown, nothing like the twinkling masses on your head!" Adi got up, and walked a little closer to the female, slowly, for fear of startling her, and sat down once more. "You should never want to change yourself. You are beautiful. Adi smiled at the red wolf, a real smile, and hoped she could make a friend.

I can assure you, wolf, I am not insane. The words were hard and cruel. Eira slightly winced at the words that came out, but decided to just ignore them. Why would she want to fight with a creature such as the one she was with right now? Has a Lyxxus and a Sennyo ever fought before? Was it possible that from the beginning of their species, that there was a war between certain species of wolf? Eira shook her head to get the thoughts out of her head. Really? Are you serious? Who thinks that? Smart wolves, unlike you. Eira nodded as if agreeing with the wolf as she repeated she didn't need help from her. Eira thought to herself, So you need help from other wolves? Her tails then thumped the ground as she was looking at the stars. The next thing Eira heard was shocking. She didn't expect to hear that sort of response from this wolf. Oh. No, you don't wish to look like me, not at all, You are unique, and special, just the way you are. I mean, look at your tails! Those are very pretty swaying with the wind! And your blue eyes? Mine are boring and brown, nothing like the twinkling masses on your head! The wolf got up and moved closer to her. Eira wagged her tails, but that just resulted as sandy tails. She didn't mind, though. You should never want to change yourself. You are beautiful. Eira smiled widely, and her ears quickly laid on her head, and came back up quickly.
"Thank you," Eira paused and smiled more, "Fadiya." The night was cold, yes, but she didn't mind. She had a new friend! Eira doesn't really talk to other wolves a lot in her pack, so she was actually glad she chased that jackalope. Her eyes were getting heavy, and Eira yawned, "It's a nice night to make a friend, isn't it?" Her tails went to her side, and from that she lowered herself to the ground and looked up at the sky. Her head then lowered to rest on her paws, but this wouldn't do. So Eira rolled over onto her back to look at the stars while still resting on the ground. Her eyes wandered everywhere over the clear sky. Her eyes started to blink slower, as she yawned once more.
Then, a thought hit her. Should she tell the wolf about her father? Never! She could never do that! They just met. There was only one wolf she has ever told was Caspian, but they haven't been able to see each other lately. Eira has always thought that the king of Accord wouldn't let him leave territory anymore. Eira shook her head and winced. She couldn't think of that now, that's not something anybody would think about, right? Eira closed her eyes, and said finally, "I knew everybody could be broken."

Adi looked out over the ocean, admiring the way the stars twinkling lights were reflected in its waters. Her head was tilted slightly to the side in a manner that can only be described as cute, and her lids closed slowly over her orbs. Out of the corner of her almond shaped eye, Fadiya saw the wolf nod her head slightly, and Adi had a brief moment of wondering about her sanity before dismissing it completely.
"Thank you," Eira said with a smile, and Adi couldn't help but return the sentiment. "Fadiya." Adi's eyes were bright, and she internally relished in her breaking through her rude facade. When she was younger, and with her parents, the Sennyo never said a rude thing to any wolf. She had a vivacious smile, and a true love for life. But that was before Erahn. "You can call me Adi, if you'd like..." she said hesitantly. She still winced sometimes when she heard the nickname spoken aloud. Her father had come up with the shortened version of her name. Her mother had fallen in love with the name Fadiya, but her father liked shorter, and sweeter names. And so they compromised. Fadiya smiled slightly at the thought of her parents, so sweet and happy. But again, that was before Erahn destroyed her, and her life.
The slivery female noticed the other ones eyes beginning to droop, and she caught the Lyxxus yawn. Adi grinned. She slowly pushed her paws forwards, resulting in her body lowering itself to the cool sand, hoping that Eira would take the bait and lie down, so she wouldn't fall when she fell asleep. "It's a nice night to make a friend, isn't it?" Adi's eyes brightened considerably, and her ever frozen tail actually swished from side to side, showing her upmost gratitude. "That it is, that it is." she said happily.
Fadiya smiled again when she saw the other female lie down, and then roll to her back to look at the stars. Adi herself would never put herself in such a vulnerable position. She always needed to be ready to run. Always. Adi noticed that Eira seemed to be having some sort of inner turmoil, and the Sennyo's eyes held concern for her new found friend. "I knew everybody could be broken."
Adi's first instinct was to feel offended. Did the wolf think her weak, and broken for accepting her friendship with such relish? She closed her eyes tight. She had just made friends, and now she was being rejected again. Feeling hurt, Adi stood quickly, as if to walk away. Then, her mind kicked in, rather than her heart, and the pain set in. "I used to think so differently than that. If you had met me 50 years ago," she barked out a laugh, this wolf hadn't even been alive 50 years ago, "Well, let's just say I was a completely different wolf. You would have liked me." she said wistfully, wanting nothing more than to be the wolf she used to be, instead of this cold, judgmental being she had become.

Eira nodded slightly as the wolf gave her permission to call her Adi. She was glad Adi would allow her to do that, for Eira hasn't talked to a wolf in a while. Time had passed, and Eira smiled as Adi had agreed with her with making a friend. Eira made a slight mistake when Fadiya suddenly sat up. Eira jumped, frightened, and looked up at Fadiya, and quickly responded, "Now why would I want you to be different? I like you just the way you are! One in a million! I cannot see why you were startled at my statement, though." Eira got up and smiled at the wolf, and lowered herself a bit and smiled. Her tails wagged in the air, as her ears were lowered. She then stood straight and gently pawed the wolf on her ear playfully. Her tails continued to wag as she then played in the sand with her paws, but still looking at Fadiya, "Excuse my young personality, Adi. It's just; it's just an instinct I received a while ago. Long story though, probably not interesting." Eira smiled again quickly, and as she smiled, she lowered her ears. "How long have you lived, Fadiya, I mean of course, if you don't mind me asking?"
Eira then went to her regular position on the sand, looking up the stars. She decided there was no more need, though, for she looked at all of stars in the beautiful midnight sky.
