If he suddenly gained control of his limbs, it wouldn't be too soon in Agni's humble opinion. This incident, his legs crossed over each other and tangled uncomfortably underneath his body, is nothing new, not that it ever gets less annoying. Agni had been tracking a group of wolves to offer his services as per usual when he had been forced to jump a log. Unfortunately, the coordination required for such a feat wasn't within Agni's skill set and therefore his current predicament had been the result as it usually unfailingly was. After several minutes of sullen concentration, and a deftness that spoke of experience, Agni finally untangled himself and lurched upright, a huff of breath escaping him as he was finally righted. However, when Agni went to pick up the scent again he found that his involuntary break in concentration had been enough for him to loose the trail.
Growling under his breath, a gust of wind started up that was clearly unnatural. The air had been so still only seconds before that it was unclear as to where the wind was coming from. An observer would be baffled as to what was happening. Agni had experience with this phenomenon and knew exactly where it was coming from. Thankfully, exasperation edged into his consciousness, chasing away the more negative pull of aggravation, and soon enough the phantom wind that had been ruffling his fur finally ceased, much to Agni's relief.
Finally, as his emotions evened out, Agni allowed himself to assess his surroundings. It would seem his tracking had lead him fairly far and the soil beneath his paws was giving way to sand. Seemed he was near some body of water. His mother had always admonished him to pay better attention when he was tracking, otherwise he'd get lost. However, even her light admonishments hadn't been able to break through that habit, and now here he was, proving her right.

T H E . D R A G O N There was a dragon, off in the horizon, just above the sea line. He felt his dark emerald claws skimming the ocean surface, creating a long thin wake behind as he zoomed towards the beach. There were two great, dark green leathery wings stretched away from his bulky body, carrying his weight above water easily. His long neck was straight as his neon green eyes stared ahead, at the shore. The massive emerald dragon intended to rest on the cliffs and perhaps hunt if he happened to run into some poor creature. Behind him, his tail swayed gently to a sudden breeze and in the distance, his sharp eyes spotted a black, living speck. Once he got closer, he could see the black dot clearly; it was a lone wolf. A possible prey.
The dragon ignored the deep urge to lick his lips and growl in hunger as he wanted to move fast and silent. Quick as flash, his head snapped upwards with the rest of his body following. He was soaring swiftly into the sky with his wings stretched away from his body, flapping every few seconds. Once he thought he was high enough he stopped climbing, and started to circle the wolf very high in the sky. But unfortunately the sun was on his back so his shadow was directly beneath him. It could be a warning if the wolf was attentive enough to spot it. Then his body went down in a straight line with his wings folded against his sides, gaining speed and momentum. Then an involuntary growl rumbled through his throat and burst out of his mouth, shattering silence with a deep loud roar.
