He sniffed at the air, taking in the lovely scent of the waters that drifted before him. The lake was still as silk, anything in the area reflecting its image perfectly. His horns branched out like the trees behind him and pointed high to the sky as he stared out across the marshy body of water. His massive saber-like teeth were jutting downwards and his other teeth were bared slightly as his fiery orange eyes gazed down at the fish fluttering beneath him. At the sight of such things, his stomach released a small growl. He snorted slightly, intending on capturing one of those little fish.
They flashed by him teasingly and he was tempted to merely jump in as though they were trapped and unable to get away from him. However, that wasn't necessarily the case. He couldn't swim very well, or at least for very long, for he was quite heavy and sank quite easily. For now, he just stared at the fish. His shadow was cast aside by the sun every time it peeked out of the clouds and each time it vanished he was tempted to lash out and take one of the fish. They looked absolutely scrumptious to him, especially since he had not eaten that day. He could have snacked on something along the way, but he hadn't felt like it at the time. Besides, he had not been fishing for awhile.
Nathaniel was just a Yagi, wandering about and waiting for anything interesting to happen. Honestly, he was a soldier still whether he wanted to be one or not. He had hated the feeling of being one, but he still acted as one. His chivalry followed him everywhere, though, and never once had he ever disrespected a female. He had fought among the greatest and strongest females he knew, so he truly had no reason to disrespect them. They were strong and hardy, just like any male out there. Of course, he had been raised to fight and there were females who he had been raised with that had even kicked his own ass from time to time, though he had eventually come to surpass them.
Sighing, he took his chance and leaped into the water, burying his muzzle into the cool liquid . His saber teeth speared into two fish, and he pulled them out. He clung to them with ease and stepped away from the bank of the water, dragging his wet paws with him. Flopping down onto the soft grass, which was about as wet as the lake, he pried the fish from his fangs and began to devour one of them, crunching through the tiny bones within. His stump of a tail wagged in contentment. He was on packlands, though he was sure they were rather unoccupied or the leader didn't care much for trespassers. He doubted anyone could force him off, but he would be kind if he was asked to leave. For now, he just ate at the fish at his feet, saving the other for when he was done.

[Sorry if its sloppy or has typos, replying on mobile so bear with me ^^;]
The jester made her way through the familiar swamp territory. Her chest heaved with excitement of the news a possible new member had been found nearby. The female eremus took catious glances as his scent became stronger and she could see his large form on the edge of the lake. Surely he knew he was indeed in pack territory, yet he he claimed as if the land he had hunted on was his own. Nepara rather enjoyed when others could find solace in her land... but a new ego gave her body a vicious heated feeling. The kind of feeling. You get when your mouth draws back in a snarl with hackles raised. Though the eremus wanted to keep an air of hospitality, so she took a deep breath and approached the other wolf where he could see her coming. Her head and tail raised high. She had a few tricks up her sleeves, but she couldn't help but feel uneasy at the sight of the larger brute with his rippling muscles.
"You are of another pack, are you not?" Nepara's voice held a serious yet calm tone to it as she looked him and his weapons that adorned his skull. "I am glad to see you are at home with us, in our territory. But I must ask why you tresspass on our lands. I only mean to keep peace.. but I will not tolerate disrespect to the rules of our pack." The female gave him a wistful glance at his strong eyes, hoping not to find any any sort of resilment or challenge.
"Or is there perhaps another reason, beneath the surface, as to why you have chosen to come here?" Her eyes lit up momentarily, the idea of an alliance brought new sensations to her white fur. Or just the thought of trying her trust system on the first pack wolf that had wandered to her territory.
