He barely cared about his previous comparisons of each place to the desert, now all the Eremus was pleased about was he was away from the Jungle. He had learnt a key piece of information that he would never let himself forget; the jungle wasn't safe, the pack there were not too friendly. His treatment had been without even setting foot on pack lands, he dared not to think about what would have happened if he had ventured too close to those borders. For some time now he had hovered in the awkward area between jungle and lake, debating about whether to continue or simply head west and find his way back to the desert. Of course he had promised Nepara he would return, though he wasn't ready to head South again just yet, what if he went wrong and strayed too close to the jungle again? Would he be lucky a second time or would the pack now be on the lookout for the Eremus? In the end he opted to continue. The air was rather chilly, what with the changing of the seasons. His fur fortunately could deal with the cool though, thanks to the desert's temperature drop at night. This was the afternoon though, and it felt a little odd to be underneath the sun and not feel it's true warmth. It was the changing of the seasons though, and Orivir was quickly learning that other places in this land weren't exactly like the desert. After all he had met wolves that told him of the cold to the North. One day perhaps he would get there, feel the freezing temperatures for himself, but for now he was happy to wander. This time he was more cautious of borders however, not wishing to run into anymore hostile pack members.
