He was a thirsty wolf, panting while he took a leisurely pace through the heated lands. The soil was rich, so the abundance of plant-life wasn't surprising in the least bit. Just as the lovely island of Hawaii or the vineyards of Italy were verdant, so too was this place. The dark soil was soft and extremely comfortable for Raleigh's hoofed feet, somewhat calming his usually anxiety-ridden state.
Trespasser. If he had come across this land a day later, he would have been a trespasser instead of a pack founder, but that wasn’t the case and for once in his life, luck highlighted his life. The Myou lowered his antlers as he avoided a low-hanging branch. The jungles, though lovely and hot, were not friendly to a wolf with such a crown upon his head.
He cocked his eye left and right as his wide deerlike ears scanned the area. The world was stretched in a panoramic and he could see it all. It wasn’t easy to sneak up on the deer-wolf, but the jungle made it easier. His hooves sank into a soft portion of soil, a slight muddiness.
All at once, disaster. Raleigh gave a gasp as a quick flash of silver sped by him, scaring him so that he fell to the ground in a heap—his hoof still stuck in the soft mud. A lone winged fish was lost from the school and fluttered quickly and noisily before zipping to the sky, through the canopy. It opened a beam of light upon Raleigh, revealing him easily in the golden spotlight.
Damn it.
Raleigh gave a sigh and shut his eyes as he twisted his foot right and left, trying to free it. Finally, with a pop, it came out and he fell backwards, on his back, his belly to the sky. A moment of weakness. A moment that begged for someone to kill him. And it was in this moment that he was caught. And it wasn’t a good time.
But, like his own appearance. Looks can be deceiving.

Kuari padded through the Jungle head up, keeping her eyes out for anything she could eat. Or kill. She pushed her way through a shrub, with bounced back as soon as she had passed through. This place was intense, vegetation that sprung up no matter how many times you stepped on it, humid weather that made her hair stand on end, and rains that would pin a wolf to a ground. A place were she could thrive, just like one of those plants. The only thing that bothered her in the place were the butterfly's. They flitted past her like bright colored targets, just ready to be snapped up and eaten. Like she already had done to a few. The yellow and bright red ones did`t taste to good though. The blue ones and the green ones tasted the best. She stopped for a moment to look for another wave of them, but none of them seemed to be heading toward her. Oh well, she would snatch up a few later.
She ducked under a huge branch and sighed. There was nothing but plants here, plants and butterfly's. The butterfly's were too easy to kill, she wanted something, hard to kill. She kept walking, looking at the mud below her. There seemed to be deer here, witch was good, food, and something to kill rolled up into one. She bought her head up, amazed to see a million silver things darting around her. Something to kill! The she wolf pounced at a group of them, only to land face first in the mud with her stubby tail sticking up. Growling, she shook the mud from her and pounced on another one, manging to get the wing of one in her mouth before going to skid in the mud again. She gave out a louder growl and jumped again, jaws open and angered at the fish.Af course they all just flew away fed up with her antics. Let them. They probably did`t taste that good anyways.
The wolf stormed off, following the deer tracks. She would kill the deer instead. It would be bigger and feed her more. She kept following them till she saw a pair of antlers struggling in the low fauna. Maybe the thing had gotten stuck, she gave a grin. Better for her. She crouched low and started to stalk forward, than once she was about a few feet away from the antlers, sprang landed and turned.

He could hear the verdant plants rustling apart at the wake of the female before brushing together her hindend nudged through. His lupine nose quivered nervously at the thought of it. This female… And he knew that the future was not bright. The scent of her confidence had him sweating bullets and he shut his eyes in a silent prayer.
God no. Please. Just turn around. Just don’t find me.
The Myou gave a long sigh as he tried to pull himself together, but his instincts were literally tearing him apart. His flower eyes were wide in fear and he could see everything. And then, the female nosed through the deep jungle plants. Her purple fur was rather de-saturated, giving her a neutral, almost earthy sense. And her large paws stepped rather lightly for her size, giving her a strictly feminine aura. But Raleigh could only read danger in her form.
He scrambled to his feet, but, once again, the mud gave way under his sharp hooves. At least he fell on his stomach this time. And his chin hit the muddied earth. He looked up, but needed to turn his head a little to see before him due to their placement on the sides of his head. He saw that she leapt up.
The female Yagi’s form cast a shadow and reveled in the joy of the kill. Meanwhile, Raleigh, hopped to his feet, and in a flighty way, sidestepped before freezing in his motion, his lupine-shaped, but deer-colored tail held all the way up like a banner. It could be taken as an image of confidence in the language of wolves, but was a flag of fear in the instinct of deer.
She had missed him, but barely. He could still feel the wind of almost death kissing his flank. Raleigh moved backwards awkwardly as she turned to him. “Um, miss…” he choked out in his soft voice, made softer because of his fear. And, unable to speak any longer, he merely shut his eyes and turned his head away.
If you’re going to kill me… Kill me softly.

Oh the joys of humidity.
My lip was raised in irritation as my foot sunk into a pit of mud, dragging my large paw down into the filth. What was with all the mud pits all of a sudden? I snarled as a popping noise sounded with my foot reappearing, my shoulders rolling forward once more, continuing with my trek.
This land was interesting; wet, muddy, but interesting. It was warm and humid, and at the moment, dozens of butterflies fluttered past, and colorful flowers were blooming everywhere. One might be surprised to find a wolf such as myself here, but however this was one of the environments I enjoyed. Minus the whole sinking in mud, of course. With the ferns brushing against my legs, I raised my head a little bit, listening for sounds of any other wolven species. I flinched as a twig cracked behind me, but it was only a jackalope bounding by. My luminescent eyes snapped to my left and right, looking for anything else that might pop out of the bushes.
I began trekking soon after, seeing as nothing else seemed to be in the immediate vicinity. I growled as my foot began to sink once again, but cut it short when I heard the incredibly faint sounds of another Yagi and a Myou.
Slowly I inched forward, intent on seeing who these wolves were. Soon enough, my fiery green optics landed on that of a stag, though as I looked closer, resembled a wolf. It was a deer-colored wolf, with antlers adorning his cranium. A strange look for a Myou. The other wolf was an ebony color, but had horns of a ram and a short, docked tail. My own dragon horns gave me the charicteristic look of a Yagi, and I had no doubt this fae was a Yagi as well.
Stepping forward with that ever-present smirk, I sauntered towards the female. "You must either be cannibalistic or blind, as that boy is but of wolven form, not stag." My baritone voice boomed as I stepped out from behind a fern plant, in clear view. "If indeed the case is that you are cannibalistic, I pray only that you hesitate for a moments time; as this boy, here, has some qualities that I myself am looking for."

Food was all that was on her mind as she stalked foward hackles risen, intent on killing. She was even more intent when the deer turned his head away, as if prepared to die...
She was just about to pounce when another wolfed barged in."You must either be cannibalistic or blind, as that boy is but of wolven form, not stag."Pause. "If indeed the case is that you are cannibalistic, I pray only that you hesitate for a moments time; as this boy, here, has some qualities that I myself am looking for."
Kuari gave out a low growl and turned to the dragon horned wolf who had said the words."You better not be calling me blind. Or cannbalistic, and if I am, why would I tell you?" She let the end of her sentence turn into a low hiss. Oh, this would would pay, she would pourposly jump in front of him the next time he was stalking a good sized bit of prey. But the dragon stag had a good point, the deer wolf could be used for bait to draw another packs wolf in so she could kill him once he stepped onto the Jungle, or the deer could be used as something else, something that would still let her kill something, or someone.
She would rather die than say something like that though, so, she pretended to be intrested in a pair of those flying fish playing not far away. Rather than accept to not kill the deer wolf, after all he could prove handy when the winter months came and food became short. She let out a laugh, yes, that would be good, a nice deer wolf dinner on a night were she hadn`t eaten in awhile, his antlers loosely hanging from her neck around a scrap of leather...

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i437.photobucket.com/albums/qq94/NuckyGirl/rawlsrawls-1.png]Raleigh let out a sigh of relief. He looked to the red Yagi savior. Though he could smell blood about him, Raleigh judged him solely for his actions. There had never been another wolf—another creature—that had shown him the ounce of kindness that the Myou interpreted from the dark red Yagi. The sea-green eyes were uncharacteristic of the species—even Raleigh knew that (for he was quite intelligent), but he did wonder what the wolf saw in him.
What potential is mine?
The Myou did not see the potential he had at first sight. Raleigh’s body was a weapon. Deer themselves were dangerous quarry for the lone wolf and if Raleigh had the gumption to learn how to fend for himself, he may be lethal. Instead of soft paws with dull claws, he had sharp hooves. Though it did make strolling through the mud a bit more difficult, they were sharp as dagger-teeth and able to claw through a wolf the same as a solid wildcat’s talon. Raleigh also had that impressive span of antlers upon his head. They were currently covered in the soft velvet, growing underneath the soft casing. The boney sharpness would not be revealed until the wintertime, when the final rub against the tree freed that last bit of velvet from the bone. Even Raleigh’s build was athletic. He was flighty in nature, quick, and able to run great distances and maintain that speed for a while—as per the instinctual heritage of the buck’s spirit he housed within him. His wide sight range made few things escape his scrutiny. Yet. He was checked by his limitations. The boundaries that stopped him short.
But that wasn’t even the extent of his abilities. His intelligent demeanor and way with words was far more valuable than his strength. He had the ability to talk to the sky and convince it to fall to the earth and kiss it. And his silver tongue could lead a new era. But now, it was locked in a stutter.
“W-w-well, I, um… um…” And he fell silent.
He was shy and it was shown even more here as he turned his head left and right, trying to catch a good view of the pair of Yagi. The female seemed miffed that she didn’t get her chance to devour him and as a response, Raleigh scrambled to his feet and took to bounding step away from her and took one closer to Cesaru—smart to know that if this wolf was willing to help and willing to care, Raleigh would follow him.
“Flattered. No one… has said anything… like that to me.” And he dropped his gaze, slightly embarrassed. He parted from Cesaru and sat awkwardly, his deer-like legs weren’t exactly made for lupine actions such as sitting down. He raised his eyes, forced them raised, and stared so that he directly faced Cesaru. And that meant that he couldn’t see the great Yagi wolf because the placement of his eyes left a blind spot on his nose. But to see a wolf in this way—the way other wolves faced each other… the way that left Raleigh vulnerable—it meant that he trusted Cesaru.
At least. He trusted him not to kill him.

A growl began bubbling inside my throat, threatening to break surface as the female began retorting saucily. She was an attractive one, yes, and the stubborn and arrogant nature was something that caught my interest. However, I wouldn't take it at the moment. "Fae, we have only just met. I would not know if you're blind or not, or what your intentions were. That is why I gave more than one explanation for as to why you were about to attack the boy, here." I growled, glaring down the bridge of my nose at the girl. My lip pulled up above my teeth, only for a brief moment, before lowering again. "Don't ask me why you would tell me you are cannibalistic. How the hell would I know?" I snorted, my claws beginning to sink into the soft soil once more.
I shifted, turning my attention to the antler-crowned male and picking my feet up out of the muck. "Hold your tongue, boy, for it is nothing. However, you should be thankful I was in a good mood and didn't eat you myself," I growled, starting to get irritated with these two wolves. However, a plot was beginning to form inside my head. I had always challenged authority; I didn't like it, not if I wasn't in charge. So why not begin an empire of my own? A tribe? A cult? A sickly grin split my maw as I looked from the fae to the male. "However, I see potential in the both of you. Despite having just met you, there is hope. There is more hope in you, my pretty little femme, but I see growth in you as well, deer-wolf."
Should I be proposing this offer to the both of them right now, as soon as I had met these wolves? Eh. Oh well. If they didn't want to accept the offer, then oh well. I'll go find some other evil monstrosities to fit into my pack. I'm sure there were plenty around. "El Tribu de Lluvia Sangre..." My quick, Spanish tongue murmured, testing out a name as it appeared in my head. "To unsettle these lands and bring peace to ruin, that is my plan. To create growth and strength in numbers, and to rid this world of weaklings. You, my comrads, would be perfect for the job."

Kurai draw a small circle in the mud by her paw. She was getting bored and when she got bored she became lazy, and when she became lazy, she just wanted to flop down and do nothing except think about blood, carcasses, and her next victim. Witch would soon be the deer headed wolf, if she had her way.
She was drawn out of her thoughts as the male wolf started talking. "El Tribu de Lluvia Sangre..." Wait."To unsettle these lands and bring peace to ruin, that is my plan. To create growth and strength in numbers, and to rid this world of weaklings. You, my comrades, would be perfect for the job." Kurai gave out a low growl. Ah yes, this male had a mind, even though he did seem to rather like the deer wolf.To kill all the impure, and all the weaklings. Yes, it was perfect. Just perfect! They could start with this deer wolf.
But wait, the male seemed to have a liking toward him, and he had said you, and my.That was some sort of possession was it not? She shot her head away from the two fish and stood. She started to walk toward the male wolf. Trying to appear as non menacing as possible. When she reached his side she sat next to him and let her tail rest on his. She leaned in close. "I`m getting a high rank right?" She fished for something to add. "Love."She growled out this last part. And hoping she did`t sound to menacing shot her head up and looked at the deer wolf pretending to be intrested in him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i437.photobucket.com/albums/qq94/NuckyGirl/rawlsrawls-1.png]Raleigh was getting fired up, almost relishing the fact that the female was getting the brunt of what he thought was Cesaru’s wrath. He obviously didn’t even see the half of it… His deer eyes were cocked brightly, beholding her form, wanting to see her shudder and collapse under the weight of his new leader’s and mentor’s words. But, he didn’t even see her falter against what he considered a verbal lashing. Raleigh’s mind trembled like a candle in the wind as Cesaru turned to him, words like bullets flying from the fickle tongue, bombarding Raleigh with attacks he could hardly admit to endure.
He let his long ears flick back, sensitive as the white tail’s were, and his deer instincts were telling him to run and run far. But he knew that if he did so, the chase would ensue. A wolf’s own instinct was to chase and it made him quiver with fear. Still, he held his ground. He worked through it. He had to bear it for the sake of life. And Raleigh could hear the words, but it was like a recording of a recording of a recording. Something that sounded far away despite its proximity.
He wanted to speak now, but Cesaru told him to hold his tongue—the majestic weapon, fashioned from the mind and governed by the genius of a diplomat. If only he knew. But Raleigh held it, obeying Cesaru despite being confused now. From ruth to ruthless, his leader spun as easily as the cougar who doubles back to trick the prey. It made Raleigh worry, but also give a mental gasp of awe.
The female seemed reluctant to join, if only for her begrudging response, but Raleigh didn’t have to take two moments. He said simply something worth all the words of his life in that single nod.
He bobbed his antlered head up and down and the rare flash in his eye spoke volumes. He was to follow. He was to follow until time shattered the cosmos. He was to follow until his heart beat its final beat. He was to follow until he could not admit victory any longer. For that was the word he said in that flash of eye, in that single nod that said he wanted to follow the great Cesaru.
For once in his short two years, Raleigh proclaimed his victory.

Ooc; Psssst.... Yagi don't have tails xD
My sea-green eyes turned toward the female, who seemed to growl in agreement. A smile stretched across my face once more, eyes narrowing slightly as I looked out beyond the trees, into what an imperfect world this was. It wasn't that I was perfectionist, oh no. Perhaps some may call me that. I was a masochist. A narcissist, a pessimist, and a power hungry leader. I would rule with an iron fist, and nothing would stand in my way.
"Like a little dove, you are, Empress." I growled to the female, though my growls were what you might call affectionate, under my terms. I was caring towards no one, but to cut certain wolves slack was something that wasn't foreign to Cesaru. As I looked at the two wolves-- erm, wolf and a half? --I saw approval in both of them. The deer-boy seemed to light up and grow a little in spirit. As if this was what he had lived his whole life for. "Challenges are inevitable, however. Though I saved you from death once, my antlered friend, I won't get in the way of natural selection next time." I was a firm believer in natural selection. No one should escape death. Nature decided which wolves it wanted to keep around, and which ones needed to hit the bucket. You could influence it, sure, by keeping in best shape, but fate won all in the end.
I felt a tail on my leg, and I switched my focus to the fae beside me. "Yes?" I murmured, as she began to speak. "A high ranking? But of course. You are the first maiden to grace these lands, so to speak, and so you shall be my Empress." I raised my head above hers regally, looking down at her from the bridge of my nose. I chuckled as she added on the pet name. "No need for those just yet, darling." I leaned in so only she could hear. "There will be plenty of that later, I assure you." I growled in her ear, laughing to myself.
"And so with this, Lluvia Sangre, has been born."
