G E N E R A L
Name: Mikhail Alias: Mik, Miko Species: Keiyou Gender: Male Age: 8 months
Pack: n/a Rank: Loner
P H Y S I C A L Height: 37 inches Weight: 53 lbs
Appearance: Overall, he’s a warm tone of white. He has a few markings that are a bright chestnut color. He has splashes of the chestnut color on his hackles, his ears, his forepaws, and the tuft of his tail.
Like all Keiyou, he is rather thickly built compared to other species of wolves, though lighter than most Keiyou. He has a thick neck and legs but is more fragile than he looks due to his hollow bones—a trait common to all Keiyou.
He has a long, lion-like tail. It hangs limply most of the time because he doesn’t pay mind to it. He almost forgets he has one. Unlike most wolves who probably don’t have to think to wag their tails, he has to mind it to wag it.
Mikhail has a rather unkempt appearance. Mostly this is because he never thinks to keep himself tidy. His feathers are not preened and his furs are ungroomed. To look presentable, he needs someone else to remind him or take care of that for him. It is just something he doesn’t do on his own.
He will move with his steps tandem when he grows up. One after the other and in single file to try to negate his awkward walking (therefore making it more awkward). Miko does not fly often. He only flies when he’s going to be flying with someone he knows—this is after he learns to fly.
Mik almost never speaks, but when he does, it is in the small and stiff voice. He has a few stereotypic behaviors such as pawing, nodding, and re-adjusting his wings. When extremely stressed, he may pick at his fur and feathers. Other:

Strengths: Endearing, good memory, eager to please, loyal and obedient to those whom he trusts, good at identifying plants (later), connectedness to non-wolf species, high-degree of focus is possible, constantly underestimated, stubborn, sensitive to sounds, logical Weaknesses: Shy, fidgety, clingy, an idiot in a social sense, slow to give trust, obsessive in his hobbies, anti-social in some regard, emotionally under-developed, stereotypy, easily distracted, prone to fear or anxious responses to new things, constantly underestimated, stubborn, sensitive to sounds, self-destructive at times
Personality: Mikhail is quite the nervous wolf. He has faced incredible hardships which he hardly even remembers, but that still affect him completely. This is compounded with the fact that he wasn’t born to be neurotypical. He has several idiosyncrasies that force him and his reactions to wolves to be completely out of the norm.
His priorities aren’t in figuring out the complexities of proper communication. He knows he fails at that. He still does study them, albeit with a sort of disdain because of the fact that he knows how prone to failure he is in this regard. Ultimately he realizes that in order to survive as a wolf, one must be a wolf as all the other wolves are. Because of this, he has a closer connection to creatures which are not wolves. And will somewhat be able to understand them by how they stand and see. Since his heart really is set on the animals who are his predators and his prey, he might have a hard time hunting or might even be an easy prey animal himself. Still, he could eat the meat if others hunt for him.
Miko has no tolerance for anger or yelling. He pins his ears back and constantly sends forth a stream of apology, just to escape the punishment. On the whole, anytime wolves are yelling, he completely believes that they are yelling at him. He can also slightly be a bit self-destructive. If there is a huge change coming on, he might happily indulge in picking his fur and his feathers in dizzying anxiety—leaving himself with a patchy appearance, much like a molting bird. Although this behavior is painful, it makes it easy for wolves who know him to know when he’s being bothered because he’s too shy and too unsure of how to tell them.
He needs exact instructions when he does a job for another wolf. If you do give him exact instructions, you’ll find them followed to the T. He is able to focus his attention if the task is clear. However, if there is any muddling, he shuts down and gets easily distracted. His good memory makes it so that he can follow the instructions (if given exactly) in perfection after one utterance. He has the ability to identify plants because of this memory later in life.
He is a very sensitive wolf and it is best not to tread where you do not belong in conversation. If you go to a sensitive topic, he might seem rude in his replies and maybe he might indulge in his stereotypic behaviors. Mik can seem very rude or at least very eccentric if you don’t take it as rudeness.
History: Mikhail was born and was an orphan almost as soon as he was born. His father Poseidon had mated with his mother Lilt. Despite being the only pup, his mother wasn’t strong enough for the litter and was hardly strong enough for the birth. She died in childbirth. All could have been well, but his father was also killed by his half-sister, under the watchful eye of Lilt’s sister, Lissome. Mikhail doesn’t know his family at all nor does it bother him really.
He survived by suckling on his mother’s still-warm teats for the first few hours. When she became dry, he found he couldn’t suckle even cold milk. He bit harder and harder til there was a flow of blood. He resorted to cannibalism without even knowing it. Still, he was growing thinner and was malnourished when he was found by Dimitri, a Mortui wolf. The Mortui left him in a soft place with the intention of caring for him, and the hungry pup could have died if he had not been found by Aubrey.
Aubrey was a childless female whose body echoed with the memory of motherhood. She had a medical condition for it, but wolves don’t understand such things. She was full of milk and took Mikhail in as her own son. She helped him grow up, teaching him a few things about how wolves treated each other. He still is clueless at times. One day, he decided to run off. He wasn’t weaned yet, despite being the age of a wolf that had been weaned a long time ago. He hasn’t returned to her, but misses her sorely.
Other: Long overdue pup app.
