It was about noon, the sun warm, but there was cool breeze. The water a comfortable. It was autumn. Eveloon, like usual, was swimming. She was singing. Or was it humming. It was just random notes from out of her mouth. She did loops and twirls. Today she felt explorative.
She hadnt been on lend in a while. She always wondered after that last time... What if she wasnt a Cael? What if she was born a land walker? What if she coudnt swim. "Silly. That would never happen!" she laughed to herself "You'll laways be a water gal!". She found herself swimming closer to land.
Realising this, she swam closer, this time more into what she was doing. She climbed up to land. It was cold. The breeze against her fur and the change in the temparature made her shudder. She almost ducked back under the water. But the feeling of sand between her toes and the newish smells intrigued her. She dragged her tail up and onto the beachy shore. The sand stuck to her wet scaled and fur everywhere it touched.
She remembered how long it took her to dry off last. She looked up at the sun, yawned. Setting her head down between her paws, she wriggled to get comfortable and dozed off.
She dreamt of swimming in the water, then coming on land. She dreamt land more amazing than water.
ooc; sorry no muse. idk if you can work w/that

Elpidia grew bored of the constancy of her existence in the kingdom. Despite having a wolf who truly believed in her existence and spoke to her just the same as any wolf would speak to her, she felt that it had come to a dead-end. He wasn’t going to think of her as anything more than an entity of the mind. To him, she was a Harbinger. Nothing more.
Her body longed for the feeling of the corporeal world. She gave so much to the other side—this other side where everything knew you existed because you were there. Such certain rules did not exist in her dream-world. Where the mere fact that you existed couldn’t even be set as a law, but was seen as a maybe. Elpie’s existence depended on whether or not a wolf thought of her as that itching thought or as a real life wolf. Guess which one was more likely. Right. Nobody hears voices in their heads unless they were crazy.
Elpidia sighed within the darkness. She hadn’t stayed in Rostyn’s head when he left for whatever reason. She respected his privacy in hopes of him accepting her, one day, as more than a thought or a wolf within thoughts.
But something powerful soon tugged at her attention. It was a dream. It was a dream full of want. Elpidia was immediately attracted. Big-dreams. Naïve wolves usually had them. Naïve wolves were usually more prone to allowing a deeper impression from a Harbinger. Her neon form wisped immediately in the sleeping Cael. She smiled a dubious smirk before shaking her head. Her eyes were headlights, her mouth glowed the same light. And in a bright voice, she called out, “Awake! Sum amica!” She smiled. I’m a friend. It could be a lie. It could be the truth. Nothing was ever clear with Harbingers. Not even their existence.

A deep desire she never knew she had. To want to be four legged. To be a land wolf. She dreamt her walked in the water, with four legs. Not having to dry to walk upon land. She found herself missing her times under water. But found happiness. I am friend..
This speaking surprised her. It jolted her awake. She shot up. Realizng, she was dry. Smiling, she looked around. Who was that? Is somewolf there? Where? She looked around looking for a sign of someone.
"Hello?" she called out.

He had gotten misty eyed talking about this beautiful place and while at the time Skorcha had mentally rolled her eyes and thinned veiled her distaste, she could see now why the wolf had spoke so fondly. It was a beautiful little cove with white beaches, gentle waves, and ample sun. She had already spent one night here and witnessed both the gorgeous sunset and the beautiful rising sun.
Lately she had noticed a wolf rise up out of the waves and drag herself out onto the beach. It was a Cael, she noted, though she berated herself for being so stupid. Of course it was a Cael, Captain Obvious, what other species would be living in the ocean? She didn't move in, not yet, and prowled about the higher ground why waiting for the Cael to dry out. She caught several mice and a vole, favoring the small rodents instead of their larger, faster rabbit cousins. Energy was precious when you were a loner fighting for yourself and only yourself, not a commodity to be wasted whenever you had to eat. Like the sea-worthy wolf below her, she soon stretched out for a brief nap.
She awoke to a called greeting, ears snapping around and eyes narrowing into minute slits. How could that Cael knwo she was here? It seemed, however, that the wolf wasn't talking to her at all, but the empty air around her. How odd. A faint memory, the half-remembered legend of the Harbingers, flickered in her mind, but she swiftly dismissed it. Stories, no more, no less. Still, there was most definitely something odd going on down there.
Pressed against the ground and swift as an arrow, Skorcha darted down towards the beach, using the the dunes are cover. Soon she was behind the she-wolf and called out hesitantly.
"Why do you speak to the air around you, Cael?"

Eveloon took a step forward. She could sworn she heard someone. Confused, she whined.Suddenly, someone was behind her. Her ears errect, wide-eyed, She listened as they spoke. "Why do you speak to the air around, Cael?"
She turned around, and dazed. She didnt hear them approach. Nor could she smell them until they were here. She stumbled a bit, jetlegged. She wasnt used to four legs.
"Ugh.." she groaned, catching herself.
She striaghtened herself quickly. She found herself looking at a Lyxxus. She knew it was a Lyxxus, she heard of them from other Caels like her. It took a moment for her to remember she had been spoken to. " I did not speak to the air. Someone spoke to me." She sat down. Calm, niave to the dangers of land. She hadnt an idea that this other wolf could be dangerous.
"Was that you?" She asked, cocking her head.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b270/Nefeldaiel/skorchaTABLE_02.png][atrb=width,500,true]Skorcha quirked an eyebrow - or, well, did her best to emulate the gesture since she didn't technically have eyebrows. Watching the Cael stumble around was vaguely amusing, but also sort of pitiful since it was a grown wolf and not a pup just a few weeks old. She almost went over to help the Cael, but thought better of it. Instead, she sat down and looked the wolf over quite placidly, though her eyes remained suspicious.
Seeing the girl's curious gaze, she straightened herself proudly, giving a bit of touch up grooming to her paws and fluffy tail. She wasn't exactly an outstanding specimen of the Lyxxus race if you wanted to be completely honest, but she saw herself as being a model all LYxxi should look upon with awe.. From her large ears to bright green eyes and dainty paws, she was utterly perfect, if only in her mind's eye, and anyone who thought otherwise could stuff it.
She frowned slightly at the Cael's words, ears twitching back just a tad. There had been no one before Skorcha arrived, no one presently, and no tracks that suggested someone had snuck away somehow. Very gently, as thought speaking to a small puppy, "Dear, there is no one else here. I was on the ridge when I first saw you and, believe me, no one was near you. I didn't speak to you, so who could have? It was most likely just a dream." She tilted her head. While the Cael's eyes were bright, they weren't feverish and her nose was wet and cool looking instead of dry and inflamed. Still... "Are you quite sure you're not just feeling funny because you've come onto land?"

Eveloon looked the Lyxxus down, noting the bright green eyes. Eveloon was used to fishy smells and appearences. This wolf smelled of woods and leaves. The strong smell stung her nose. She suddenly found herself longing for the water.
She thought back to a time when she was younger, her mother was speaking to her about other wolves. "There are a species of wolves call Harbringers. They were considered Gods long ago. But their existance has wavered." Her mother spoke to her softly. She told Eveloon a story of how her mother once thought she met a Harbringer.
"I was sleeping and heard a vioce. I woke up. It was talking to me in my head. I thought it was there, I almost saw it. It was bright.. I think it was a timber wolf. But I made it a mirage of my mind. Then it was gone. " Her mother said. "Do they exist?" Eveloon asked. "..." Her mother never answered.
Eveloon snapped out of her memories. Was that a Harbringer? She hadnt an idea if they really existed. "Could I have heard a Harbringer?" For a spit second, she thought she believed in them...

Elpidia sat back and watched the interesting interaction between the Cael and the Lyxxus. The words were like play. Their conversation was like a show. And it stirred a great and sleeping thing to waking in the Cael’s mind. A memory lit up the mind like a light display. And it amused Elpidia. She had a part in making this exist. That meant that she existed. But then again, it’s just logic chasing its tail again.
However, it saddened her that the Harbingers were probably lessened to nothing more than story-tales to most wolves. Legends to scare the young ones to obedience and to dazzle the old ones into dreams of magnificence. The world always twisted upside down as a wolf aged. Elpie’s world was now so twisted that she could hardly make heads or tails of it.
A harbinger? Was she even a Harbinger? The cut-to-the-chase question made Elpie ponder it. And she gave an honest answer, “I could be. I might as well could be a Harbinger.” Elpidia giggled, “Or perhaps, you are so lonely that you are talking to yourself… Cogitas harbingeri quod amas sententiam harbingeri …” Sometimes, it was easier to exist if a wolf didn’t think of you as a separate entity, but as an extension of themselves. And then, you can just slip into existing as a Harbinger. Just like that.
The Harbinger giggled as her smoky form touched through the mind of Eveloon. Such innocence, brightness, wishfulness. It was an open arena for a wolf of thought. She couldn’t do more than sit in the dark light of the mind. She couldn’t touch and it wasn’t even certain that she could be heard. It had been such a long while since she played in the mind of a Cael wolf without driving them to insanity. Most of them shut their minds out, most of them shivered under the weight of having her. She was, after all, a goddess. At least, once upon a time.

Wynter slowly made her way to the others. She wasn't a part of their pack, she wasn't a part of onebody's pack, but she wanted to be. She saw another Lyxxus. Her tails and ears were down, not in a threatening way, but in a submissive way. Her violet eyes swept over the wolves.
