R O S H A Ni'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it Wispy paws stepped noiselessly on dream world soil - if that was even what it was. Roshan hardly knew anymore. For thousands upon thousands of years she had traveled through the realm of dreams, and still she did not understand some parts of it. Behind her, her tail streamed out like smoke, though there was no wind here to speak of to make it move. All around her was silence. Not eerie silence, for she was used to it. Just simple, normal silence. A silence that she very much disliked.
She could see that she was in the forest that was a part of the taiga that she now made her home in. She was the eldest member of the pack, that she knew, and that gave her more experience than any of the others, including the other two harbingers that also made their home with this pack. She wass older than all of the other wolves combined. And that knowledge also made her feel powerful.
Roshan flitted over the trees, which were mostly pine. The mountains were nearby; she could see them in the distance. There was also tundra close by. This snowy wasteland was now to be her home. But the scenery made no difference to her. What would make the difference would be the wolves that lived in the scenery. If she was right, this pack was not alone in the area, so there should be a plethora of wolves in the area. That was perfect for a harbinger that needed hosts.
Of course, she would start her search in the pack that she was a part of. The Knights of the Therian Order, or whatever it was called. The name mattered not; just the wolves that were in it.
"Ora, se è quello stupido pacco?" Now, where is that silly pack?

arkarian oh no i can't stop falling my heart betrays me and i know i'll start to feel it all again won't someone save me...
Arkarian had been traveling that morning around the pack lands. Nothing much had really happened since their initial meeting. The rest of the pack members seemed quite nice, and Arkarian liked them well enough. There were quite a few pretty females as well, but his mind was perplexed. He knew he had heard some sort of voice in his mind, a female, probbing his brain. But how could that possibly be? He had heard of wolves with the power to speak in other's minds, but none of the females in the pack shared the same voice as the one that had rang through his mind that day.
Sighing, he trod slowly through the taiga, the trees looming above him. It was amazing to see the height of the pines around him, and the smell of their needles was a tantalizing scent which tickled the inside of his nose. It was then he decided to do something rather silly. Wandering to one of the smaller trees, he rubbed his fur against its needles, feeling the sharpness bite at his skin. He ignored it, letting the sap and the scent coat his white and black fur. He would now smell like the forest, something which offered two things - one, he could disguise he scent, and two, he smelled lovely for the ladies.
Grinning widely, he continued on, his wings folded neatly on his back as he wandered. The more he thought about the females in the pack the less his brain focused on the mystery voice in his mind. Especially the pretty little sennyo - except she was pregnant, and as much as Arkarian loved the ladies, he wasn't that much of a sleazball. 'Fly.' The words were more of an urging in his mind and he growled slightly, ignoring the second soul inside him. He couldn't very well fly in the middle of the forest.
Arkarian walked in this fashion for quite a while before deciding to turn around and walk back. Unfortunately, he realised quickly that all the trees looked the same. Pausing, Arki stared ahead of him, wiggling his nose and trying to find his scent to follow it back home... except all he could smell was pine. "God damn," he hissed and then, falling onto his haunches, sighed. "How in hell's name did I manage to get myself lost?" And he'd be there until he could figure out how to get out - there was no way he was stooping so low as to call for help.

R O S H A N i'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it
Her search was interrupted when she accidentally brushed against the mind of a creature that had neared her without her realization. She almost brushed it off and moved on, until she realized that it wasn't just the mind of a creature, but a wolf. Her own mind snapped to attention and she turned her head to look at the one she had sensed. At once she recognized him as one of the pack, yet untouched by the other harbingers. The one who's mind she had tried briefly to enter. Ecstatic, she moved towards him, hoping that now, without the distraction of a forming pack, she could speak with him.
She stopped approaching when she witnessed his odd behavior. She was not a part of his world, and so could not smell the scent of the pines or understand why he rubbed up against them. She considered him briefly, watching rather than trying to contact him. He couldn't see her, so she didn't have to worry about concealing herself. He would not know she was there until she chose to contact him.
She remembered now that this wolf was not just a simple Keiyou. He was, in fact, a Myou, with a second soul. That could cause some problems if he was willing to allow her into his mind, but she tried not to worry about that right now. First, she needed to ask permission.
She realized he was lost when he turned and went back the way he had come, and then stopped. She grinned, realizing that this would be her opportunity to make herself known, and perhaps make him understand that she was, indeed, real. Softly, she touched his mind, not forcing her way in but asking for entrance. In that touch she embedded a message, hoping that he would receive it and understand. "A little lost?" the message would say. "I know the way out."

arkarian oh no i can't stop falling my heart betrays me and i know i'll start to feel it all again won't someone save me...
Arkarian stood there, not only lost, but baffled. He was trying to be brave, and yet his courage faltered as he stared at the identical looking trees. The differences of the paths were minute, and his trail was everywhere. He must have been walking in circles. He growled, digging his paws into the ground in an annoyed fashion, circling around. He paced for a few moments before something strange happened.
It almost felt like his brain was being tickled. He blinked, lifting a paw to bat it over his ear. The sensation had only come over him once before at the joining of the pack, and that too had baffled him completely. Then the words were plain as day to him, and his eyes widened. Both yellow eyes were wide as saucers, as he stared around him, trying to search for the source of the voice. But of course, the wolf who spoke was no where to be found - and part of Arkarian knew that, and yet, he just wasn't willing to accept that a voice was in his mind. He had enough to worry about with his second soul bitching at him all the time. He felt the snowy owl soul ruffle its feathers, obviously disgruntled at the jeer.
And so Arkarian whipped his body around, continuing to look aimlessly for the body. "What...?" he growled, his voice low, his defences clearly up. "Who's there? Who are you? Where are you hiding?" he continued, glancing around, and finally seeing a shadow which slightly resembled a wolf. He snarled, lunging forward and falling into a snow drift, staring at the large tree which seemed to cast a rather canine like shadow on the snow. Where was the damn wolf?

R O S H A N i'm the new cancer, never looked better, and you can't stand it
She would only enter his mind if he allowed her to. Roshan was not one to force her way in unless it was absolutely necessary. She had found that obtaining a host worked better that way, for they were more likely to warm up to you if you weren't threatening them and forcing your way into their mind. So she waited on the fringes of his mind, touching it lightly but not trying to enter. She had to make him believe that she was there first. It might take some time, but sooner or later she would convince him to believe in her, at the very least.
As she brushed up against his mind she tried to send him thoughts, images, and feelings, though she wasn't certain if it would work. When one wasn't inside the mind it was harder to communicate with the individual. She tried to send him an image of her perception of harbingers - really just an image of a harbinger she had once met - and attached a word to the image Harbinger. She tried to send another message too; a feeling that harbingers were not evil, as some might think. They were wolves, just as the earthly wolves were, except that they were trapped. She was trapped. Hoping he would receive all that she tried to pass on to him with her light touch, she withdrew. It was up to him, on whether or not his mind was open enough to accept her thoughts and images.
For several minutes she held back, no longer contacting him. Instead she watched, waiting to see if he had received the information that she had tried to give him and giving him time to think things through a little. When she felt she had given him enough time, she moved forward again and brushed against his mind once more, trying to send one last message to him. "Den eímai krývetai." she said in her native tongue, Greek, while also including a translation for him. I'm not hiding. "Den boreíte na me dei, nai. Allá den boró̱ na sas vlápsoun. Boró̱ na káno̱ típota gia séna, allá tha prospathí̱so̱ na milí̱so̱." You cannot see me, yes. But I cannot hurt you. I can do nothing to you, but try to speak. Her message sent, she hoped that he could hear her, and she waited.
