My antennae bobbed in front of me as I pranced through the thinning layer of snow. I sang a song to myself, my tongue bouncing up in down as I accented L's and screamed the lyrics. "Said ya suckin' too hard on ya lollipop, yeah, love's gonna get chu dooooown!" I threw my head back as I shouted, "Yeah!" I started to slide my paws across the slippery, packed-down snow, starting a dance, my heart fluttering with joy.
I shuffled to the right.

"Say Love, say Love: oh, love's gonna get chu doooown!" I shuffle to the left. "Say Love, say Love: oh love's gonna get chu dooooown!" My long, stick-like legs struck into the ground, my claws grazing the earth, enabling me to dance swiftly without falling. I crouched down and pawed myself up into some large shadow. I opened my eyes to find myself in the large mouth of a cave monster.
Oh, no…just a cave. Heehee.
I stopped singing and sat up quickly, plopping my rump to the frigid ground, my head titled to the side, my large ears perked up. I wondered if anyone was in here…
“’ELLO, anyone oo might been in ‘ere!” I put on a strange accent that tickled my tongue a little bit. “Th’ name’s Channon, and I wish to intruuuude!”

And I wish to intruuuude! Intruuuude! Intruuuuu…

Someone shouted my words back at me. They sounded just like me! I dropped my torso into a play-bow, waving my tail into the air. I started shouting random things, to see if the guy could keep up. He was always a few seconds late, but hey, who isn’t? After talking about chasing rabbits, I shook my coat, pleased with his parrot. I grinned.
“Alright! You seem to be able to keep up!”
Seem to be able to keep up!
I laughed. “Yeah, so sing with me! I could use some echoes!” I skidded around in a backwards circle before jetting off, yelling my song. “I went walkin’ with my Momma one day, when she warned what people say! Live ya life until Love is found! Or Love’s gonna get chu down!”

[Chance]

He had only stopped here to rest his wings for a while Now Chance regretted his decision Echos of someone rebounded this way and that. It was clear that who ever it was was insane. Cautiously, as the music wafted around his bowed head then repeated again, he head toward the sound. Brown and white wings were tucked tight to his body. He flinched at the sound of his claws clicking against the stone.

"Hello?," he called but his soft voice was over powered. Purple eyes searching the shadows he tried to work up the courage to talk louder.'I should just leave him be,' Chance scolded himself.
"Hello?" It came out more of a scared yelp than anything else.

“Whoa-oh-oh! Whoa-oh-oh! Whoa-oh-oh! Lollipop!”

Lollipop!

There went the second voice! He was singing along so well!

“Whoa-oh-oh! Whoa-oh-oh—“

“Hello?”

“WHOA!” I jumped at the voice and my antennae swung forward and stabbed me in the eyes. I let out a groan and staggered back until I tripped over a rock and dropped on my rump. My fur ruffled, my ears lopsided and my small wings fluttering in my confusion, I shook my head to clear my blurred vision. I blinked. I hadn’t said hello. And my friend, the voice, didn’t sound like how that cry sounded.

There was someone else in here!

I stood up and shook myself, my wings batting softly. My tail swayed and I tilted my head to the side. There was someone down by the entrance, standing there. Looking back at me. I took a step forward, my head still tilted. Was this guy stalking me? Oh man, if I had a stalker, I’d be sooooo flattered! I twitched my nose, trying to get a whiff of them. Mommy always said you could tell if someone was friend or foe by the way they smelled. I wasn't sure what to be looking for in the smell, but I tried. This guy, he smelled like…they smelled like a wolf. At least they weren’t a creature -- they were like me!

“Hey!” I pranced over to them. “Who are you? Wait, how rude of me, I should introduce myself! Well, my name’s Channon!” I spun in a circle so they could see what I looked like. White, orange, blue and pink fur. A long tail, big ears, and legs like stilts! “See, it’s like Shannon, but it’s spelled with a C. What’s your name? Is it spelled weird?”

[Chance]

The noise stopped and the pitter patter of light paws came near. Chance took a few steps back eyes wide, feathers ruffled. 'Bad idea! Bad idea!' he chanted in his head cursing what ever stupidity made him stop and not move on.

“Hey!” a silhouette came into sight, “Who are you? Wait, how rude of me, I should introduce myself! Well, my name’s Channon!” Color's blurred past Chance's eye making him dizzy. There was a flutter of butterfly wings and Chance groaned inwardly. He never had good experiences with Sennyos or however you said their names.

“See, it’s like Shannon, but it’s spelled with a C. What’s your name? Is it spelled weird?” the fluttery wolf finally stopped. This was the part where he introduced himself. Great.

"Um, I'm Chance. Sorry to say but no weird spelling. Sorry to disturb you, uh, singing,"

“Um, I’m Chance. Sorry to say, but no weird spelling.”

Chance? He has a very fit name. Chance. I wonder if he can swim for long periods of time? That’s what his name makes me think about. Someone athletic.

“Sorry to disturb you, uh, singing.”

The guy seemed kind of…cornered. A little wary of me, I guess I could say. I smiled and took two steps back, sitting down. “I like your name. If you could read my thoughts, I would’ve told you that your name makes you sound fit. Like, you could swim forever.” I checked him over, curious. I spotted two things were very familiar to me. “Or” – I looked up and grinned at him – “…fly forever.” I flapped my wings once. “See, I have wings, too. I wish I could fly, but, I can’t fly with them. They’re just…there, y’know?” I shook my head. Chance didn’t care, he probably could fly.
I wagged my tail and giggled.
“And don’t worry. You didn’t disturb me! I was at the end of the song, anyway.” I starting nodding my head to a beat. “You like singing?” I stood, starting to move my paws in a small dance. I wondered if he would join. “If not, what do you like?”
