A smile pulled upon her maw as she slowed down to a walk. A shake of her pelt was given as a rush of wind blew by. Ears pinned back for a second before flicking back forward again. She didn't mind leaving the meeting area, though she was more thirsty, and the announcements were said, so it was okay.
Dusting icy snow pulled up into the air and around my frame as she pulled closer to the water. Her excitement to actually have fresh water in a while growing stronger within her. Though she stopped suddenly. Eyes narrowed as she pinned her ears back. There was a follower. Ears listened carefully as she took a step forward at the edge of the lake. Her maw lowering to the cool water, letting her rough tongue lap the liquid into her maw, and letting it drizzle down her throat. Satisfying her thirst little by little. Though this didn't solve the problem of the follower. She raised her maw from the running water before turning her frame around and looked upon the frame that was not far from her. Eyes narrow and her head held high.
This the follower that i have scented following me?
Words split into the atmosphere hovering over the winds that howled loudly. Sending her coat bristling, and waving lightly. Ears pricked forward as she listened outward. Waiting upon the reply of this...yagi.

Viking stepped into Fore’s line of vision, a smile upon his lips. “Alas, I was not built for stealth, but for brute force.” He chuckled, looking the lupus over. “Let me introduce myself. I am Viking, a new pack mate, and soldier. I am your subordinate.” He surprised himself by saying that word so easily. He understood why Sheba had placed Forestia above him. She had been in longer, and had proven herself. He respected that. Maybe she really is a fearsome fighter.
“I just wanted to come and meet my new battle body. We need each other’s trust don’t we? So we can act as one is battle. Speaking of battle, is there any going on? I am assuming there are other packs around, yes? Do we have enemies?” He sat back, some distance away from Fore. He was only half faking his friendliness. He sensed a kindred spirit in her.

Carefully making them out before a smile pulling upon her lips. A nod was given as she bowed her head lightly before letting it raised. Come forth Viking, it is much easier to hear each other over this wind words spoke softly. I could tell this yagi was strong. And the proud feeling upon him.
“I just wanted to come and meet my new battle body. We need each other’s trust don’t we? So we can act as one is battle. Speaking of battle, is there any going on? I am assuming there are other packs around, yes? Do we have enemies?”
His words filling her ears once again before she sat down upon her haunches. You are correct my soldier. To answer your question, no. Not at the moment. Yes i believe we do. Though there has been no message, warning or scent of battle coming upon the windy, cold, northern lands. It is to much cold for battle, though we must as well keep eyes out, we can not let out guard down, it is our job. she replied with no hesitation.
It was all true. They could not ease their guard. There was a pack upon this easy land to fight, which her job to this, her goal, was to protect it. Ears flicked forward as she looked out again, still waiting upon this brute to come forward so they could hear each other with ease, instead of yelling over the howling winds.

Viking hesitated, casting his glance around. He finally shrugged, and slipped closer to the female, settling in next to her. He gave her a crooked smile. “That’s a shame.” He said, speaking of the lack of war in the lands. “I’m itching for a fight.” He sighed, and shrugged one shoulder. “Eh, well what can ya do?” He paused, and then laughed. “I could just start a random fight.” He muttered under his breath.
He cast her a sideways glance. “Any monstrous bears, or something I can kill around here, to quench my blood thirst?” He was only half joking, curious to what she would say.

A smile grew closer to her maw as she listened to his words. Eager to fight, have a challenge. A soft laugh escaped into the air before she raised her head looking up into the sky. At times she usually didn't have to touch a fur. Though she knew she had to physically fight at times. It was not good to take advantage of the powers that were given to you. A idea slowly coming to her mind.
She stood slowly as she turned around to face him. Taking a few steps back before looking toward him. i see what you mean. Though i must ask, what would do in a case where you were fighting against someone with powers or elements? lyrics questioned curiously, wondering if he the answer, or was capable of answering this. All good fighters knew a answer, or have a plan on what they would do if they encountered a fight of someone with power and elements. Teal eyes looked toward the yagi. Curiousity and serious filling in them.

Viking cocked his head to the side, considering his answer. “Well. If it was one with a water affinity, I would lead them away from water, of course. But for everything else, fire, air and earth who can draw their power from all around…” He paused. He hadn’t come across many Lupus’. So he was not adept in fighting them. There had only been a few cases in the past were his head on way of fighting had been put up against their skills in cunning.
“It has been my experience milady, that Lupus’ tire from extensive use of their elemental gifts.” He said carefully, eyeing her wearying. “I have great stamina, so I would just fight defensively, until I see them weaken and start making mistakes. I would then go for the throat to either make them submit, or kill them.“ He was unsure of his answer, but didn’t let it show. He exuded an air of confidence, and still held his head high.

Leading water away from water. She shook her head. Though she would not tell him just yet. Fire.. and all the rest, i would agree. Though every lupus, no not just lupus. Sennyo and hybrids, had their ways. She gave a breath was she continued to listen. Hearing his words on how he would attack. That worked with most, though there are times were you can come upon wise and wolves with many strategies.
You are correct upon a few things, though you must know. Every wolf will have more than one strategies. If one fails, they will move upon another without warning, throwing your strategies off. As well let me show you one thing lyrics spoke softly as she took another step back. Eyes closed for a second before she pressed her paw to the snowy ground before letting it raise up. She was far enough away from the water, unable to get any from the lake, though she was able to pull a fountain of water that waved from her paw. Eyes looked upon the Yagi as she set her paw back down, the water disappearing instantly. Lupus with water at times do not need water to use their power, as you saw, i used no water, i created it words said with a smile as she looked toward him.
A good soldier must know this. And must be ready. And that is what she wanted to do. Teach them. Prepare them for a battle that may be worse than any other. A battle that she knew that might come around in years to come.

Viking tried to hold down his shame. He hid it well, and swallowed his pride. “Hmm. You caught me. My lack of experience with ones with power shows.” He tried to come off as airy, and undaunted. He watched her create the water, envy flashing in his for a split second. Another wave of shame came. He had never wished himself as something other than a Yagi before.
“Care to teach me some things?” He asked, shoving down his pride even further. He hated this, but it was necessary. Her teachings could come in handy for the future, that was more important than his ego. He was smart enough to see that. It would be stupid to let something as little as his pride get in the way.
He was finding it easier and easier to talk with her. He was actually starting to look at her as a comrade.

A nod was given with a soft chuckle. It is my job to teach the soldiers under me to help them raise up. She replied in a soft manner before glancing around. Hmm. A nod came to my head slightly as she looked over at him. In storms, such as this wind, and this snow. Do not watch, listen, or attack. At times they will come for you, and in that time, feel the ground, feel for the pounding of their fit touching the ground as they charge at you in the blizzard, with this, you can know from which direction they are coming from, and stop their attack before they attack you she spoke softly with a stern look.
It was true, they will attack you in storm like this, thinking it may be a advantage, though no, they still will give off a soft pounding noise again the ground, making it easy for us to feel where they are on the terrain.

"Wouldn't the soft snow absorb the impact though, and soften the foot falls?" He asked, his voice skeptical. He hadn't really ever thought down to think about strategies before; he was more of a let-me-bash-their-heads-in sort of guy. Not one to hid, and observe. It made him...angsty.
He was not trying to contradict her, but was asking a serious question. It is good to bounce ideas off one another. “Fighting in inclement weather, such as this would actually serve me well. I am stockier then most, so I can hold my ground against the wind and snow far better than say, a Cael. And of course, a Keiyou wouldn’t be able to fly, therefore couldn’t attack from the air…” He was just talking out loud mostly, not really putting much stock in his words. He was thinking of a certain spitfire Keiyou, by the name of Ashmari. He was plotting, the wheels in his head churning. Maybe if a really bad storm came around, it would be best to take her down then? By ‘her’ he of course meant Sheba and maybe in the back of his mind, Ashmari.

It was true, it would be hard, though they as well had their ways. As some Keiyou had dragon wings. It is true, though pure Keiyou, they don't have bird wings, they carry on dragon wings. Wings that are capable of flying through anything. her words spoke out over the winds. A sigh left her lips as she stood to her feet.
I must go, this storm is getting stronger, and worry comes over with Sheba, please sir, excuse me she worded as she bowed slightly before quickly turning and taking across the snowy terrain in a run. Wind, snow and slate pulling at her face and fur.

Viking was taken aback by her abrupt exit. He cocked his head to the side as he watched her vanish, his stub tail twitched with mostly annoyance, but somewhere he was hurt.
He turned his head shoving it into his long shaggy fur. Do I smell bad? he asked himself, breathing in deeply. He didn't smell particularly bad, just the same old musky wolf scent. Was it something I said?
He thought about going after her, and asking her what he had done wrong. He hadn't meant to offend her in any way, but he didn't. He just sighed and shook his head. Thanking the gods that he wouldn't have to be treated this way once he had taken control. He would rule with fear.
He made his way slowly into the lands that would soon be his, even if he had to die trying.
