Kid danced along the sandy trail, steps as light as the wind that played with his tail. He'd heard talk of a place that could swallow a wolf whole if they didn't watch where they stepped. Always one to press his luck, he couldn't help but want to investigate.
Now the red and yellow Sennyo was skirting around the edges of quicksand, curiously observing the soggy ground. His small paws and light weight aided him in staying above the surface. Once or twice, however, he stepped a little too far and would end up with a delicate limb stuck in the muck. With a bit of tugging he was free before trotting to a new spot and trying again. It was quite a fun game, and one he was enjoying in the heat of the night. |

This was one of the few pieces of the Mafia territory she had yet to explore yet- the Sink Hole. Apparently, it was supposed to be very dangerous. That is... for normal wolves.
Morons, I can just slink along tree-branches and be fine. Being a tree-going snake had it's advantages. Isabella just stayed to the clumps of grass so she was sure of her footing where their weren't any trees. Boring. She thought.
Then she picked up a scent. Not so boring, after all. She thought of the Sennyo she'd met the other day; Kid. He was here? How ironic. She slunk forward, flicking her tong, and looking for him with her heat-sensing vision. Ah, there he was. Walking up and standing on a fallen tree trunk, she called. "Well, we meet again." |

Transparent wings fluttering against his back, Kid paused mid-step to cock his head. Light, graceful steps turned him away from the quicksand, emerald eyes seeking out the female he had met not long ago. The snake Myou was perched upon a sinking log, her appearance as curious as he remembered.
"Ah, Miss Izzy. To what do I own this evening's pleasure?" A smirk curved up his maw as he trotted a few paces closer to her. He then halted again, lifting one paw to dip his head in an elegant bow. When he rose again he locked cold, questioning eyes upon her. While he knew what is was that drew him to such a strange area, he had not yet figured out her motives. |

She wondered at his smirk for a moment before slinking down to stand on another patch of grass. Like really was nice when you were a snake. "Circumstance." She grunted in reply, before bending down and sniffing the quicksand. "Is there a reason you were playing around in this muck?" She asked, tilting her head and flicking out her forked-tongue once more.
Isabella thought that she might have to eat again soon. Ah, no matter. She could easily kill something. She was getting hungry for wolf, too. Perhaps she could venture outside the territory and take out a poor, hapless passerby. That might be fun. She thought, knowing how fun it would be to play with her food.

Kid's head shook back and forth lightly as she chuckled. Really, he shouldn't have expected anything more from her. If their last encounter was anything to go by, this particular female preferred to be the one asking the questions. Fair enough. For now he would humor her.
Turning back to the quicksand, he again padded several steps into it before pulling out. The prints from his paws quickly filled themselves in as once again he turned to face Isabella, transparent wings fluttering upon his back. A playful wink scrunched up his face before his head tilted to one side. "I like to think I'm testing fate. The question is, how dense must one be to not sink?" |
